How Technology Facility to Improve Numeracy in Riau Province
The increase in numeracy in Indonesia depends on the facilities' quality at schools. This study aims to evaluate the technology facilities to improve the numeracy ability of students in Riau Province. The district to be the participant was Junior high schools of Dumai District. The research participant was teachers and students. The collection data techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. The key instrument in this research was the researchers that gave questions to participants to get data about how the technology facility improves the numeracy of Students at Dumai District. The data analysis technique used in this research was analysis proposed by Creswell (2014). Results show that many facilities to increase numeration are still bad. Technology to improve students’ numeracy is not yet adequate because Dumai must improve public facilities such as highways, Harbor, markets and etc. The government is limiting the budget to help schools
Analysis of Fluid Flow Characteristics Across the Darrieus Turbine in Irrigation Channels: ANALISA KARAKTERISTIK ALIRAN FLUIDA MELINTASI TURBIN DARRIEUS PADA SALURAN IRIGASI
This study simulated the characteristics of the fluid flow that passes through the Darrieus turbine before installation and testing were carried out. The purpose of knowing the flow characteristics can determine the profile and position of the maximum speed so that the design and placement of the turbine can be improved. The research method was carried out using dynamic fluid computational simulations in three-dimensional form with steady state conditions, discretization using second-order, with convergent conditions when it reached 10-6. The simulation results show that the position of the flow above the turbine had the lowest value because the fluid flowed relatively without disturbance which caused the velocity to had a value almost the same as the incoming fluid velocity. The fluid velocity increased when it was in line 2 and line 3 or across the turbine. This was due to the turbulence generated by the rotation of the turbine. While the speed on line 4 or below the turbine had a lower value than line 2 and line 3. This was due to the position below the turbine so that the turbine rotation did not have an impact on speed. At the four line positions the velocity increased at Y=0.7 m or when the fluid hits the turbine. This increase in fluid velocity was expected to turn the turbine. The results also included the flow distribution in the form of a streamline in several positions where the flow that was in contact with the channel wall had a low velocity value due to friction with the wall
Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Digital Berbasis Etnomatika
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital di SMP. Melalui pembelajaran digital, guru dapat mengajarkan materi secara fleksibel di kelas kapanpun dan dimanapun dia mengajar. Melalui kegiatan pengembangan ini, guru dapat mempelajari bagaimana mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital yang efektif memaksimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, baik online maupun offline. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Dumai. Materi pengabdiannya tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran digital melalui in-shot. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan langsung tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru dapat menyelesaikan proses pembuatan video secara in-shot. Guru dapat berlatih langsung membuat video dan mengirimkan video pembelajaran digital kepada pelatih
 
APLIKASI KOMPOS TITONIA DAN LIMBAH CAIR SABUT KELAPA MUDA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN STEVIA (Stevia rebaudiana) SECARA BERKELANJUTAN
This research was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru during 5 months, starting from October 2019 to February 2020. The study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design by using two factors. The first factor was titonia compost (T), consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 kg/plot and the second factor was young coconut coir liquid waste (S), consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 100, 200, and 300 ml/plant so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained with 3 replications. Parameters observed were harvest age, plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, wet weight, and leaf weight. The data were analyzed using statistics and continued with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at 5%. The results showed that the interaction of titania compost and young coconut coir wastewater affected harvest age, plant height, number of branches, wet weight, and dry weight with the best combination treatment of the application of titania compost was 1.5 kg/plot and the dose of young coconut coir wastewater was 200 ml/plant. The main effect of titania compost was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment of titania compost at 1.5 kg/plot. The main effect of young coconut coir liquid waste was real on all observation parameters with the best treatment of 200 ml/plant
PENGEMBANGAN PEMASARAN KOPI BUBUK LIBERIKA MERANTI DI DESA KEDABU RAPAT KECAMATAN RANGSANG PESISIR KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MERANTI (KASUS PADA CV. ZAROHA)
Meranti Islands Regency has the potential to develop Liberian coffee. It is important to develop marketing to increase profits. The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) the business profile, (2) ground coffee processing techniques (3) internal and external environment affecting marketing, (4) marketing strategy, and (5) marketing strategy priority. The research method is a case study of Liberika Meranti Ground Coffee Processing Company CV Zaroha in Meranti Islands Regency, Rangsang Pesir District, Kedabu Meeting Village, from January to May 2021. The respondents consisted of 4 employees, including contractors. Research data comes from primary data and secondary data. The data was analysed using SWOT and QSPM methods. The results showed that CV. Zaroha was established in 2008 and is classified as a small-scale business with a capital of Rp. 63.813.00. The fraw materials used are an average of 20 tons/month with a price of Rp. 3,500/kg and the worker comes from outside the family. Liberika coffee processing techniques into ground coffee through various processes, starting from weighing, pulling, fermentation, drying, hulling, roasting, grading, and packing. Having a business license and trademark is one of the advantages, but the lack of online-based promotions and higher prices than other coffees are weaknesses for CV. Zaroha. The SWOT matrix showed that the business was in the SO (Strength and Opportunities) quadrant with a strategy of utilizing online media in increasing marketing, adding sales outlets with varied products, becoming a supplier for Coffee Shops as well as fulfilling and standardizing export requirements so that the market share become bigger
UJI BEBERAPA KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK TEPUNG DAUN PAITAN (Tithonia diversifolia A. Gray) TERHADAP MORTALITAS LARVA PENGGEREK TONGKOL JAGUNG Helicoverpa armigera Hubner
Borer pest of corn cobs (Helicovepa armigera Hubner) is a major pest of corn. Pest control can be done using plant-based insecticides from paitan leaf extract (Tithonia diversifolia A. Gray). This study aims to obtain the best concentration of paitan leaf extract in controlling corn cob borer Helicoverpa armigera. The study was conducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. The research was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments used were several concentrations of paitan leaf extract, namely 0 gl-1, 25 gl-1, 50 gl-1, 75 gl-1and 100 gl-1. Parameters observed were initial death, lethal time 50, lethal concentration (LC50 and LC95), daily mortality, and total mortality. data. Data were collected from daily mortality and then descriptively analyzed and displayed graphically. Data lethal concentration (LC50 and LC95) were analyzed probit using the POLO-PC program, while other data such as initial death, total mortality, and lethal time (LT50) were analyzed with analysis of variance. Data from the variance analysis with significant effect will be continued using the smallest significant difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. Results showed that the application of paitan leaf extract with a concentration of 100 gl-1 water was able to control H. armigera with mortality of 55.00%. The proper concentration to lead mortality of 50% of larvae H. armigera was 10.3% or equal to 103 gl-1 of water of paitan leaf extract. Meanwhile, the proper concentration to lead mortality of 95% of larvae population H. armigera was 44.7% or equivalent to 447 gl-1 water of paitan leaf extract
APLIKASI BOKASHI KULIT NENAS DAN PUPUK NPK ORGANIK UNTUK PENINGKATAN.PERTUMBUHAN.DAN HASIL TANAMAN.TERUNG.UNGU (Solanum melongena L.)
The aim of the work was to find out the interaction between pineapple peel bokashi and organic NPK fertilizer and the main effect in increasing the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The study was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Riau Islamic University from February to May 2020. This experimental design was 4 x 4 factorial using a completely randomized design with 3 replications. The first factor was the dose of pineapple peel bokashi consists of 4 levels: 0, 0.75, 1.5, 2.25 kg per plot. The second factor was the dose of NPK organic Fertilizer, consisting of 4 level: 0, 7.5, 15.0, 22, 5 gram per plant. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, number of residual fruits. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the real difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of pineapple peel bokashi and organic NPK had a significant effect to all observation parameters and the best treatment was a combination of pineapple skin bokashi 2.25 kg/plot and NPK organic 22.5 g/plant. The main effect of pineapple peel bokashi dose was significant on all observed parameters with the best treatment was 2.25 kg / plot. The main effect of organic NPK was significant for all parameters. The best treatment was found on organic NPK dose of 22.5 g/plant
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AIR KELAPA HYBRIDA (Cocos nucifera) DENGAN DOSIS YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP MASKULINISASI LARVA IKAN GUPPY (Poecilia reticulata)
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using young coconut water as an alternative material for masculinizing guppy fish through different immersion times on guppy fish larvae. This research was carried out for 50 days starting from October 25 to December 14, 2020, at the Fish Seed Center (BBI) of the Islamic University of Riau Pekanbaru. The method in this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with five treatments and three replications. The treatments used were soaking time of 8 hours with doses using hybrid coconut water, namely: P0: without using coconut water, P1: 50 ml, P2: 100 ml, P3: 150 ml, and P4: 200 ml. The experimental treatments were carried out on guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) larvae. The containers used were 15 units of jars with a capacity of 10 liters which was filled with treatment media with a stocking density of 15 fish/jar. Based on the results, it was found that the highest male sex direction in guppies was in treatment P4 with a dose of 200 ml with a soaking time of 8 hours with the number of males produced at 94% and the lowest was in treatment P0 without using a dose of young coconut water which was only produced 37% males with a very low survival rate. Analysis of variance showed that F count (2.59) < F table 0.05 (3.48) at the 95% accuracy level, where different doses of masculinization of guppies (Poecilia reticulata) were not significantly different. Analisis Kemampuan Guru dalam Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar
Berdasarkan observasi awal, guru di SDN 01 Tualang telah menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Guru menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) untuk menjadikan proses pembelajaran terencana dan terarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) di SDN 01 Tualang Kabupaten Siak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik dan instrument pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah guru di SDN 01 Tualang mampu menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dengan mengikuti secara keseluruhan tahapan dan komponen perangkat pembelajaran.Berdasarkan observasi awal, guru di SDN 01 Tualang telah menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Guru menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) untuk menjadikan proses pembelajaran terencana dan terarah. Pengaruh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan data primer siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 25 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisis data secara umum dengan teknik stastik dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji hipotesis thitung > ttabel (4.412>2.069) dengan besaran kontribusi yang diberikan yakni sebesar 45,8%. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 106 Pekanbaru.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.
