    Basaltic Lava Characteristic in Goa Pandan Area, Sukadana, East Lampung: Inferences from Stratigraphy and Petrography Analysis

    The presence of extensive basalt formations in East Lampung has its own attractions in the field of geology, particularly the presence of Goa Pandan as a lava cave and tourist attraction in East Lampung. The presence of basalt lava in the southern part of the South Sumatra Basin has drawn attention to the presence of this lava, but detailed research on the characteristics of the lava and its formation process is still very rare. This study aims to determine the eruption period of the basalt lava and magma evolution process based on the correlation between lava stratigraphy and petrography analysis. Field observations show a lava sequence that forms Goa Pandan. Each lava sequence is characterized by autobreccia and vesicular structures on the surface. In addition, the presence of columnar joints, sheeting joints, massive lava, and other additional structures indicate the characteristics of low-viscosity basalt lava. The presence of mineral structures and abundance under the microscope clearly shows the magma formation process when basalt lava flowed on the surface. Resorption-overgrowth of plagioclase and pyroxene minerals indicates an open system when basalt lava flowed on the surface. In addition, the presence of zoning and patching in plagioclase minerals indicates that magma variability is influenced by temperature. The documentation of this lava stratigraphy can serve as a basis for further understanding of magma characteristics and formation processes. There is still much geological work that can be done in the research area to get a detailed picture of the evolution process of magma and the presence of basalt lava in this area

    Analysis The Effect Of Column Height Variation On The Perfomance Of Increased Building Structure

    The consequences of these earthquake waves cause damage to buildings ranging from light damage to heavy damage. Dealing with the case, it is necessary to plan and implement earthquake-resistant building structures, especially in high-rise buildings. Another factor that needs to be considered is the function of the room which affects the column height when the column height is different and it causes uneven stiffness from the ground floor to the top. The aim of this study was to find out the effect of variations in column height on the performance of multi-storey building structures in terms of shear forces, floor drift and buckling load (Pc). The method used in this study was the response spectrum method. The spectrum response is the maximum response of a Single Degree of Freedom (SDOF) structural system, both acceleration, velocity and displacement due to the structure being loaded by a certain external force. Before carrying out the analysis using the response spectrum method, a structural model was undertaken by varying the column height on the 1st floor into 3 variations. Dealing with the results of the analysis on the building structure model with varying column height on the 1st floor, it indicated that the higher the column the maximum base shear force value increases. The higher the 1st floor column, the maximum floor deviation value increases. The higher the column the value of the column slenderness ratio increases and the Euler buckling load decreases

    Machine learning prediction of tortuosity in digital rock

    Physical rock property measurement is an important stage in energy exploration, both for hydrocarbons and geothermal sources. The value of physical rock properties can provide information about reservoir quality, and one of these properties is tortuosity. Tortuosity is an intrinsic property of porous materials that describes the level of complexity of the porous arrangement when a fluid passes through it. Conventionally, tortuosity values are measured through laboratory analysis and numerical simulation, but these measurements can take a long time. An alternative method for measuring tortuosity is using machine learning with a convolutional neural network (CNN). A CNN is a type of deep neural network designed to analyze multi-channel images and has been applied successfully to classification and non-linear regression problems. By training a CNN on a dataset of digital rock samples that have been simulated using numerical computation to obtain their tortuosity values, it is possible to demonstrate that CNNs can accurately predict the tortuosity of digital rock. The result is that the CNN model can predict tortuosity values with the Xception model being the most accurate with the lowest RMSE value of 0.90962

    Possibilities Study of a Non-condensable Gas Exhaust System through the Condensate Injection Pipe at PLTP Wayang Windu

    Wayang Windu Geothermal Power Plant, located in Pangalengan, Bandung regency, West Java with an installed capacity of 227 MWe has two units to generate electricity and deliver to the Jawa, Madura, and Bali grid. The steam extracted from the reservoir contains non-condensable gas of about 1-1.2% of total steam extracted, with the gas composition is CO2 92%, H2S 2%, NH3 0.1%, and residual gasses 4.9%. Possibilities study of a non-condensable gas exhaust through the condensate injection pipe was created as the efforts in the environmental conservation aspect for reducing carbon released to the atmosphere and reinjected back into the reservoir. This study was simulated in Wayang Windu Unit 2 by calculating the non-condensable gas flow rate from the gas removal system into the condensate injection pipe near of cooling tower blowdown power station area. The analysis result of this study indicates that the non-condensable gas requires a higher flow rate of condensate to dissolve the entire non-condensable gas, and may cause the slug flow pattern which would endanger the condensate pipeline system also destabilize the non-condensable gas exhaust operation process from the condenser through the gas removal system. To deal with this problem, the possibility of exhausting the non-condensable gas produced by the gas removal system can be alternated by flowing its non-condensable gas into a flash absorber system and converting its non-condensable gas into other eco-friendly products and power plant safe

    Manajemen mutu madrasah memiliki peran dalam penguatan karakter peserta didik. Untuk itu dibutuhkan kecakapan kepala madrasah. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap kecakapan kepala madrasah dalam implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter berorientasi HOTS di empat madrasah Kalimantan Timur, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Temuan di lapangan menggambarkan Peran kepala madrasah yang tercermin dari kecakapan dalam: Memberi pengaruh (keteladanan); mengimplementasikan visi yang berbasis pada penguatan karakter berorientasi HOTS; menggerakkan warga sekolah untuk mewujudkan penguatan karakter berorientasi HOTS; memberikan motivasi kepada warga sekolah untuk mewujudkan penguatan karakter berorientasi HOTS; menciptakan kondisi kerja yang menjunjung team work untuk mewujudkan penguatan karakter berorientasi HOTS. Selain itu, Visi, misi, dan tujuan pendidikan di madrasah telah menggambarkan orientasi pada penguatan pendidikan karakter dan diturunkan kedalam budaya madrasah serta menjadi branding madrasah kepada masyarakat.     THE DEVELOPMENT OF MICROECONOMIC THEORY LEARNING MODULES

    The purpose of this study is to develop a learning module for microeconomic theory courses. This research uses the stages of 4-D model development which is carried out through 4 stages, namely defining, planning, development, and deployment. The stage of defining researchers conducts early-end analysis, student analysis, material analysis, task analysis, learning outcomes analysis. The next stage is planning. At this stage, the preparation of the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) is carried out as a reference in writing material and designing learning modules for microeconomic theory. In addition, at this stage, an initial draft of the development product is also prepared. The next stage is development. At the stage of the development process, it aims to create a product for the development of microeconomic theory learning modules that have been revised by expert validators.  The validation of the microeconomic theory module was carried out by two experts, including material experts and media experts twice. The learning modules developed were declared feasible after going through two expert tests, both material experts and media experts. Material experts state the final assessment percentage at 90% and media experts at 93%. The final stage is deployment. The learning module of the microeconomic theory course learning module development product has an ISBN, with an ISBN number: 978-602-50986-4-2 and IPR with the application number and date EC00202001295, so that with this the product development of the microeconomic theory learning module is ready to be disseminated.&nbsp

    Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) Terhadap Pemberian POC Limbah Ikan

    Penelitian dengan judul Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Beberapa Varietas Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) terhadap Pemberian POC Limbah Ikan. Penelitan ini telah dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Riau, Pekanbaru Maret - Juni 2021. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi dan utama pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas kacang tanah terhadap pemberian POC limbah ikan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi dalam bentuk Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari petak utama dan anak petak. Petak utama yaitu beberapa varietas kacang tanah yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu varietas kancil, kelinci, takar 2 dan tuban sedangkan anak petak yaitu POC limbah ikan yang juga terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0, 15, 30, 45 ml/l. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, laju pertumbuhan relatif, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong per tanaman, persentase polong bernas, berat polong basah per tanaman, berat polong kering per tanaman, berat kering biji per tanaman, berat 100 biji. Data dianalisis secara statistik dan dilanjutkan dengan Berat Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi beberapa varietas dengan POC limbah ikan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah polong dan persentase polong bernas dengan varietas terbaik takar 2 dan POC limbah ikan 45 ml per l air. Pengaruh utama beberapa varietas kacang tanah berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan dengan perlakuan terbaik pada varietas takar 2.     Semiotika Umberto Eco Dalam Representasi Perempuan Film Animasi Disney Raya and the Last Dragon

    Film is one of the most developed and dynamic forms of mass communication, using various advanced technology devices that are capable of creating animated films. Film is not only used as a medium of entertainment and pleasure, but also can be used to describe the reality that occurs in the real world, including the way women are portrayed. Disney Raya and the Last Dragon film described women as independent, tough, and able to struggle without being accompanied by men, and is different from how women are usually portrayed. This study aims to determine how the representation of women in Disney Raya and the Last Dragon film. This research is a qualitative research using semiotic analysis of Umberto Eco, and feminine and masculine categories according to BSRI. The results show that the representation of women in this film are shown in the appearance, expression, dialogue, gestures, and attitudes, which show the characters of Raya and Namaari who are tough, intelligent, and able to lead and make decisions. And Based on the feminine and masculine categories according to BSRI, various characters found in this film are masculine characters such as act as a leader, competitive, independent, and willing to take risks, while feminine characters are shown in afficionate characters, sympathetic, and yielding.Film merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi massa yang paling cukup berkembang dan dinamis, dengan menggunakan berbagai perangkat teknologi canggih yang mampu menciptakan film animasi. film tidak hanya digunakan sebagai media hiburan dan kesenangan semata, namun juga dapat digunakan untuk menggambarkan realitas yang terjadi di dunia nyata, termasuk dalam cara menggambarkan perempuan. Film Animasi Disney Raya and the Last Dragon menggambarkan perempuan sebagai sosok yang mandiri, tangguh, dan mampu berjuang tanpa didampingi laki-laki, dan berbeda dengan penggambaran perempuan pada umumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi perempuan yang terdapat dalam Film Animasi Disney Raya and the Last Dragon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika umberto eco, dan kategori feminim dan maskulin menurut BSRI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reperesentasi perempuan dalam film ini terdapat pada penampilan, ekspresi, dialog, gerak tubuh, dan sikap, yang menunjukkan karakter Raya dan Namaari yang tangguh, cerdas, dan mampu memimpin serta membuat keputusan. Dan Berdasarkan kategori feminin dan maskulin menurut BSRI, berbagai karakter yang ditemukan dalam film ini yaitu karakter maskulin seperti mampu memimpin, suka bersaing, mandiri,  dan berani mengambil risiko, sedangkan karakter feminim ditunjukkan pada karakter yang penyayang, simpati, dan penurut
