No full textRiau Advisor : Dr. Nurkhairo Hidayati, S.Pd., M.Pd ABSTRACT The development of e-module based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) is included in research and development (R&D). E-modules based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) are those that raise controversial, dilemmatic, and unstructured science topics, so that students can engage in dialogue, discussion, and debate. Biology learning materials are appropriately combined with Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) learning because they are directly related to human life and the surrounding environment. This research aims to produce teaching materials in the form of e-module based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) on material on environmental change and preservation that are valid and good. This development research uses a 4D development model which has 4 (four) stages, namely, the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the disseminate stage. The data collection instruments used were validity sheets, interview sheets and practicality questionnaires that had been validated. The sampling technique used in the research was simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using validity sheets and questionnaires. The validation results by media expert validators show that the e-module teaching materials developed received an average percentage of 95.83% (very valid). The validation results by material expert validators obtained an average percentage of 93.75% (very valid). The validation results by learning expert validators obtained an average percentage of 93.75% (very valid). The practical results of students in using SSI-based e-module show that the e-module developed get an average percentage of 88.39% (very good). The conclusion is that the e-module based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) on environmental change and preservation material received a percentage of 94.44% in the very valid category and a percentage of 88.39% in the very good category. The study is included in quantitative descriptive research with a population of class VIII students of Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru with a sample set from 1 class of 36 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that students' interest in physical education learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru City with an average of 62.19% with a fairly good category. No full textThe service for making two-wheeled vehicle driving licenses is still experiencing obstacles, this is because the service has not been completed on time. This incident occurred at the Riau Safety Driving Center in Pekanbaru City. It is known that the two-wheeled vehicle service has not been completed on time so that the public is dissatisfied with the services provided. Providing satisfaction in the service of making a two-wheeled vehicle driving license cannot be separated from direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, certainty and empathy. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that hinder the quality of service of the Riau Safety Driving Center in Pekanbaru City in issuing two-wheeled vehicle driving licenses. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The Riau Safety Driving Center service in Pekanbaru City in issuing two-wheeled vehicle driving licenses has not been implemented optimally based on Standard Operating Procedures, so it has not provided satisfaction to the public. Conclusion The TwoWheeled Motor Vehicle Driving License Service has not been running optimally. This is due to the lack of manpower, service counters, and supporting infrastructure in providing services. The researcher's suggestion is to increase the number of employees in providing services, add service counters, and increase employee cooperation in providing services in order to achieve maximum service

No full textThe purpose of this research is to find out how to evaluate the function and to find out what obstacles the Village Consultative Body (BPD) has in monitoring the performance of the Village Head in Kuala Semundam Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency. If we look at its characteristics, this research falls into the qualitative research group. Based on the research results seen in the context of evaluation indicators related to the title "Evaluation of the Function of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Supervising the Performance of Village Heads in Kuala Semundam, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency" that the monitoring function of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) on the performance of Village Heads has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. Applicable regulations allow the Village Consultative Body (BPD) to supervise the performance of the Village Head. The BPD assists the village head in carrying out village administration. The working relationship between the BPD and the village government is based on consultation and coordination. The BPD and village head establish village regulations together through community aspirations. The main obstacles in implementing supervision carried out by the BPD on the performance of Village Heads include lack of funding and the absence of special training to improve supervisory capabilities. BPD members often do not receive sufficient training on management and supervision techniques, so they have less effective skills. In addition, less effective supervision can be caused by the limited number of BPD members

No full textThe aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan. This type of research is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan, totaling 18 boys and 9 girls. The research instrument used was a physical fitness test for high school students. The data analysis technique used is calculating categories of physical fitness scores for high school students. Based on the results of calculating the average physical fitness score, it is known that the physical fitness level of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan with the final average score achieved by students is only 12.28 in the poor category and for female students it is only 10.22 in the poor category. No full textThis study aims to determine the form of presentation of Pelalawan Kingdom dance at the Bina Tasik Studio, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Pelalawan Kingdom dance uses dance movements with 5 basic dance movements, namely the salute movement, the Pangean silat movement, the rowing movement, the circular movement, and the last is the final movement. The musical instruments used to accompany the Pelalawan Kingdom dance are the long drum, kompang, gong, calempong, drum, violin, accordion and darmuka. The title of this dance is taken from a historical story about the Pelalawan Kingdom. The theme of the dance is about the feud or war between the Portuguese and the Malacca Kingdom which resulted in the Malacca Kingdom being destroyed and a new kingdom being born, namely the Pelalawan Kingdom. The type of dance is classified as a new creative dance type. The presentation mode is symbolic representational dance. The number of dancers is 11 dancers, of which 5 are male dancers and 6 are female dancers. The women's dance costume uses the kebaya tabuh shirt and the men's costume uses the Malay cekak musang shirt. The makeup of the female dancers uses beautiful makeup while the makeup of the male dancers only uses powder and eyebrows. Lighting but because this dance is danced during the day and the stage is outside the field, no light is needed. Dance properties are the door and wall of Pekan Tua, the door and wall of Pelalawan, keris and shawl. The audience was attended by school residents and invited guests. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Diagram Board teaching aid on the learning achievement of students at SDN 158 Pekanbaru. This study is a quasiexperimental study (Quasi Experiment) with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all grade VI students of SDN 158 Pekanbaru in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample of this study was class VI.A as the control class and class VI.B as the experimental class, with 36 students in the control class and 38 students in the experimental class. The data collection instrument in this study was the Pretest and Posttest sheets. The data collection technique was carried out using the test technique. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Judging from the posttest score, it is known that students who use teaching aids are higher than those who use conventional models, then the average increase in learning achievement in the experimental class is 38.1 while the average increase in learning achievement in the control class is 33.89. So it can be seen that there is an influence of the Diagram Board teaching aid (PADI) on student learning achievement. Based on the inferential analysis conducted, it shows that there is a significant difference between the average learning achievement of students in the experimental class and the control class. No full textThis research aims to understand the landscape of illegal parking fees in Sukajadi Sub-district, Pekanbaru City, and to examine the efforts of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department in addressing the issue of illegal parking fees in Sukajadi Sub-district, Pekanbaru City. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, with data collection techniques including interviews and document studies. The efforts of the Transportation Department have shown positive steps, but still require enhancement and innovation to overcome existing challenges. Cooperation between the government, community, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as an approach that considers socioeconomic aspects, is key to addressing this issue effectively and sustainably. Although the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department has demonstrated commitment in handling the illegal parking problem, this issue still requires more intensive and integrated management. Close collaboration between the government, community, and other relevant parties is crucial in achieving effective and sustainable solutions

No full textOnline gambling has become an increasingly prevalent phenomenon in the digital era, with various negative impacts on its participants, including difficulties in controlling gambling impulses. This study aims to explore self-control among online gambling participants in Pekanbaru, focusing on the factors that influence their ability to control gambling impulses and the coping strategies they employ. The research uses a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews involving three participants who are actively engaged in online gambling. The findings reveal that participants experience significant difficulties in controlling their gambling behavior, despite being aware of its negative consequences, especially when faced with stressful or boring situations. Although efforts are made to avoid gambling through alternative activities and seeking social support, the urge to gamble remains strong and challenging to overcome. This study highlights the importance of developing more comprehensive and structured interventions to address online gambling addiction, including a more holistic approach that encompasses the psychological, social, and emotional aspects of gambling behavior
