No full textThe aim of this study is to evaluate and analyze the impact of professional ethics, independence, and professionalism on auditor performance. The approach used in this study is an associative approach with primary data sources. A total of 42 auditors working at Public Accounting Firms in Pekanbaru were given questionnaires as part of the data collection process. The sampling technique applied is accidental random sampling. The data analysis methods used include descriptive statistical tests, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that independence, professionalism, and professional ethics significantly affect auditor performance

No full textThis study aims to analyze the factors causing karhutla and the preventive efforts undertaken by the Kuantan Singingi Police. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with the police, local government, and the community, as well as through document studies on relevant regulations and policies. The results show that karhutla is caused by land clearing through burning, weak supervision, and a lack of public awareness of its impacts. Prevention efforts include routine patrols, public awareness campaigns, including the installation of warning banners, and law enforcement against illegal burning perpetrators. However, these efforts still face challenges, particularly in terms of personnel and budget constraints. Therefore, further coordination between stakeholders and the utilization of satellite-based fire hotspot monitoring technology are needed to enhance the effectiveness of fire prevention and mitigation

Losing a husband will certainly be a grief that affects the life of a widow. Subjective well-being describes a person's level of happiness which includes life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were two women who became widows due to divorce and lived in Kampar Regency, Riau. The sampling technique (purposive sampling) with a collection technique through semi-structured interviews, observations. The results of the study showed that there were differences between the two informants, the first informant had a higher subjective well-being, with a more dominant level of positive affect and better self-acceptance. Social support, attachment to children, and religious beliefs are the main factors that strengthen subjective well-being. While the second informant had a lower subjective well-being, with a more frequent level of negative affect, especially in the form of loneliness and deep sadness due to the loss of a partner. However, family support and motivation from children helped informants in the process of adjusting themselves

In this research, researchers are interested in analyzing the song "Berdanlah This Career Has No Meaning" using Ferdinand De Saussure's Semiotic Analysis because in Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic model it consists of signifiers and signifieds in order to see what the meaning of motivation is in the lyrics of the song. In researching the lyrics of the song ""Berdanlah This Career Is Nothing Meaningful" can be separated into stanzas, then each stanza will be analyzed using Sausure's semiotic theory, there are three elements, namely markers (the lyrics of the song "Berdanlah This Career Is Nothing Meaningful" song " Dancing This Career Has No Meaning”), signification (the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Dancing This Career Has No Meaning") and significance (motivational meaning). find out the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Berdanlah This Career Has No Meaning" by the Indies using Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic theory. Based on the research discussion above, it can be concluded that in the lyrics, This song is intended for young people who are pursuing a career in the world of work. Many of us are trapped in a monotonous and tiring work routine, which makes us stressed, some feel bored, and some even feel burnt out. When facing conditions like this, it seems like the career that has been pursued so far has no significant meaning, this song also carries a message that someone must dare to try to free themselves from a boring job, this song carries the message that someone must be brave enough to try to escape from boring work. No full textSlope is a land surface that has a slope and forms a certain angle to the horizontal plane and is not protected, usually on the river there are many slopes. One of the problems that most often occurs on river slopes is the occurrence of morphological changes due to soil shifts on river slopes. On the Batang Kumu river, tanjong medan village, rokan hulu district, one of the causes of damage to the river slope is the scouring of the cliff foot which is unable to withstand the scouring of the river current. This scour is caused by the flow of the river. This study aims to determine the value of the safety factor (Safety Factor) of the slope without reinforcement using the bishop method, as well as comparing the effectiveness of bored pile type retaining walls using the finite element method. The method to calculate the safety factor value of the existing slope before and after being reinforced with bored piles uses the Bishop method and the finite element method. Bishop's method calculates the slope safety factor using a wedge approach, the soil on the slope is divided into 7 vertical wedges. Finite element method is a numerical technique used to analyze and solve complex civil engineering problems, which is calculated using the Plaxis application. The data used in this analysis is cone penetration test data. This research contributes significantly to the development of slope stability analysis methods in Indonesia, especially in areas with complex soil contours. The slope modeled on the river obtained a factor of safety value of 1.44 1.5. From these results it can be concluded that the slope in the river area must indeed be reinforced to maintain the stability of the slope. The reinforcement chosen by the author is bored pile reinforcement. This is because the safety factor value obtained is 1,805. This indicates that the slope is safe against landslides and indicates that the slope is safe or stable against landslides

No full textThis research uses Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach to analyze the da'wah message in the film "Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah". The film tells the story of Aqilla, an interior designer, who fights for her custody rights. Through dramatic and touching scenes, the film conveys messages about spirituality, the power of prayer, and self-preparation in facing death. This research uses a qualitative method with semiotic analysis, aiming to understand the content of the da'wah message and describe the signs (signifier) in conveying the meaning (signified) contained in the film "Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah". Data collection in this research was obtained through documentation and literature studies by watching and analyzing the dialogue and scenes in the film. The results of the study show that there are three da'wah messages in the film Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah, namely Aqidah, Akhlak, and Syariah. The film Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah also contains invitations to be patient, honest, helpful to others, forgiving of others' mistakes, maintaining family relationships, respecting parents, sincere, striving or trying, greeting, marriage as worship, praying, performing prayers, and reading the Quran. All of these invitations are presented through signs in the film, which represent the meaning of the symbols, accompanied by references that complete the meaning of the signs and symbols

No full textThe problem in the research that the author raises is regarding the lack of fulfillment of justice and rights for the Directors (President Director) who were unilaterally dismissed based on the judge's considerations in the Pekanbaru Court Decision Number 78/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Pbr reviewed from the legal entity regulations of Limited Liability Companies in Indonesia, the dismissal of the directors was carried out in violation of the law in contrast to Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. In this study, the author formulates 2 (two) problem formulations, namely analyzing legal protection for the rights of directors for unilateral dismissals that do not go through the GMS, and how the judge's considerations are in resolving cases of unilateral dismissal of the Directors of a Limited Liability Company. The purpose of this study is to explain the aspects of justice and legal protection for directors who are unilaterally dismissed without going through the GMS and the resolution of cases regarding these problems. This study uses a normative legal research type by examining library materials to analyze the judge's considerations in making decisions in cases of unilateral dismissal of directors. This study includes a case approach with an in-depth review of cases related to the problems faced and has become a court decision that has permanent legal force. In addition, a statute approach is also used with a review of all laws and regulations along with related rules. The results of the study are based on the Decision of the Pekanbaru District Court Number 78/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Pbr. The plaintiff is the founder and president director of PT Bumi Siak Pusako (BSP) who was dismissed unilaterally and without going through a GMS and without reason by the Defendants. This is invalid, arbitrary, and unlawful because it is very contrary to the mechanism for dismissing Directors from their positions as stipulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, however, the judge's considerations are that the reasons submitted cannot be justified and the Judex Facti Decision is correct and proper. Based on these considerations, the judge did not pay enough attention to and touched on the aspect of justice for Directors who were dismissed unilaterally and without going through a GMS and did not provide legal protection for them

No full textNarcotics abuse, especially marijuana, is a problem that continues to grow in Indonesia, including in the jurisdiction of the Rokan Hulu police station. This crime involves variousefforts made by the police to prevent the distribution and abuse of marijuana. These efforts involve prevention, action, rehabilitation and community empowerment activities. The main problem of this research is the factors causing the abuse of marijuana-type narcotics and how the police are trying to tackle marijuana-type narcotic abuse. The method used in this research is empirical legal research by conducting research on factors that indicate the occurrence of marijuana abuse in the Rokan Hulu Police jurisdiction. The nature of this research is descriptive, that is, it provides a clear picture by revealing the problem and how it is. From the results of this research, it is known that the crime of marijuana abuse is a worrying crime in the jurisdiction of the Rokan Hulu Police. Factors that cause marijuana abuse are promiscuity, lack of attention from parents, great curiosity, and free distribution among the people of Rokan Hulu, making it easier for perpetrators to obtain these illicit goods. In the prevention aspect, the Rokan Hulu Police educates the public through various outreach and counseling programs that cater to students, youth and the general public. The police also collaborate with related agencies to increase legal awareness and the dangers of drug abuse. On the enforcement side, the police carry out strict monitoring of marijuana distribution, both through routine operations, investigations and arrests of drug distribution networks. Apart from that, the Rokan Hulu Police also increased the capacity of its members in identifying and handling drug cases
