No full textThe aim of this research is to determine the contribution of speed and balance to dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study was SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students, totaling 22 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study was 22 people. The research instruments used were the 40 meter running test, stork stand test and dribbling test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test and calculating the contribution value. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) There is a contribution of speed to ball dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.568 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 32.26%. (2) There is a balance contribution to ball dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.621 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 38.56%. (3) There is a contribution of speed and balance to the dribbling skills of SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.696 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 48.44%. No full textEfforts of the Siak Regency Transportation Department in Regulating Illegal Travel to Anticipate Criminal Acts (Case Study of Tualang District Travel Route Perawang-Pekanbaru) ABSTRACT GaizkaAlghifary Transportation plays a vital role in driving the economy and public mobility in Indonesia. One of the transportation sectors frequently used in daily life is land transportation, which, according to its use, is divided into two types: private and public transportation. Several literature studies highlight that most private cars used for transportation, especially in travel services, often operate without valid route permits. This research can be considered a qualitative descriptive study aimed at collecting data through informants, observations, and data which are then presented in the form of a research report in accordance with the established research concept. The efforts of the Siak Regency Transportation Department in regulating illegal travel to anticipate criminal acts on the Perawang-Pekanbaru route can be concluded that although various efforts have been made, the effectiveness of enforcement is still limited. The Transportation Department has identified various forms of illegal travel and implemented strategies such as routine patrols, checkpoints, and cooperation with the Siak Police. However, challenges such as limited personnel, budget, and the vast area of supervision have resulted in only about 40% of illegal travel being successfully detected

If you have interest, there are elements that can support entrepreneurship: self-confidence and entrepreneurial spirit. The purpose of this study was to determine whether self-confidence has an influence and how much influence it has on entrepreneurial interest in children with single parents in Pekanbaru City. The sample of this study was 135 samples using purposive sampling technique. In this study using quantitative research methods, the measuring instruments used in this study are self-confidence scale and entrepreneurial interest scale. Based on the results of this study it is concluded that there is a significant influence between self-confidence on entrepreneurial interest, but in students with single parents who have self-confidence it does not affect their entrepreneurial interest

No full textAdjustment is a lifelong process, an individual must be able to find, overcome a pressure that occurs in life in order to be a good person and be able to adapt to their environment. Overprotective parental behavior is the tendency of parents to protect children from physical or psychological disorders excessively, not giving children the opportunity to make plans, develop alternatives, take care of their own needs in making decisions. Parents also avoid children from small difficulties every day, prevent children from doing work that is not necessarily dangerous, parents provide excessive control so that children are not free to do the actions they actually want to do. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of overprotective parental behavior on the adjustment of students who are away from home. This study is a quantitative study with data collection tools in the form of an overprotective behavior scale modified from the Rezka Desni Paulina scale (2020) and a self-adjustment scale modified from the Desy scale (2015). The data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation analysis where the results of the correlation analysis showed an r value of 0.537 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between parental overprotective behavior and self-adjustment in students who are away from home, meaning that the higher the parental overprotective behavior, the lower the self-adjustment in students who are away from home

No full textThe phenomenon of academic stress tends to occur in individuals who are studying, especially students who are working on their thesis, which is caused by low motivation, lack of self-discipline, peer influence and responsibilities given by parents. This phenomenon can be reduced by increasing emotional intelligence so that they are able to control yourself. This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress in working on a thesis. The subjects of this research were 191 students who were working on their thesis at the Faculty of Law, Riau Islamic University. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. The data collection method uses the emotional intelligence scale and academic stress scale. The results of this research use correlation analysis product moment. Based on the analysis results product moment The correlation coefficient value obtained was -0.565 with a significance of 0.000 (p<0.05). So it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by researchers is that there is a negative relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress in working on a thesis at the Faculty of Law, Riau Islamic University
Pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram Terhadap State Self Esteem Pada Generasi Z
No full textGeneration Z is known as digital natives who actively use social media, particularly Instagram. This platform offers a variety of engaging features; however, intensive usage potentially impacts psychological aspects, including state self-esteem. This study aims to determine whether the intensity of Instagram usage influences state self-esteem among Generation Z. The research subjects comprised 389 students aged 18–25 years from several universities in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling, with data collection methods utilizing the Social Networking Time Use Scale (SONTUS) and the State Self-Esteem Scale (SSES). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with SPSS software. The findings revealed an R Square value of 0.142 with a significance level (p < 0.000), indicating that the intensity of Instagram usage accounts for 14.2% of the variance in state selfesteem. These results suggest that higher Instagram usage intensity correlates with lower levels of state self-esteem in Generation Z. This study's findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing interventions to manage the negative impacts of social media on the psychological well-being of the younger generation

No full textFather's parenting involvement is something that needs to be considered and becomes an important assessment in the process of forming a self-concept during the development process. Of course, this will have an impact on the child's personality and the child will form perceptions about the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is an influence of father's parenting involvement on the self-concept of Riau Islamic University students. The subjects of this research were students from Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, Agrotechnology,Management, and Accounting at Riau Islamic University with a total sample of 395 students. Sampling using cluster sampling technique. The data obtained through a total scale of father's parenting involvement scale totaling 30 statement items and a self-concept scale totaling 29 statement items. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis from the test results (t) shows that the significance level of the influence of the father's parenting involvement variable on the self-concept variable shows the number 0.00 ? 0.05, therefore the hypothesis of this study can be accepted. This shows that there is an influence of father's parenting involvement on the self-concept of Riau Islamic University students. The determinant test results of the coefficient value (R-square) of 0.669 means that father's parenting involvement provides an effective contribution to the self-concept of 66,9%

Based on the video post from the TikTok account @gilang nugroho, it can be seen that this video is very popular and watched by the Indonesian people, especially final semester students. This can be seen from the content of all comments, the account owner's video submissions in the educational video use language that is easy to understand, explained in detail through light conversation. and problem topics that students often experience. Therefore, most of the followers of the @gilang nugroho tiktok account are students, which has grown significantly, starting with a rapid increase in followers, making it the leading educational account for final year students. This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research with data analysis techniques in the form of observations, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that final year FIKOM UIR students' perceptions of the content of the tiktok account @gilang nugroho as an educational medium are considered positive by the audience based on. The content of the content produced is considered to be good and appropriate to conditions in the field, as are the reasons for following the account which is considered to have benefits in the process of working on the thesis and is considered profitable and helpful. Content produced by the creator of the TikTok account @gilang nugroho influences public interest and differences in perception of the account displayed according to existing conditions. The match between the information provided by the content creator and the information received by the audience creates a positive value perception

Data analysis used in this research uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this research were 1 professional psychologist health worker who had experience in therapeutic communication, 1 psychologist assistant, and 2 children who experienced gadget disorders at the Humanika Psychology Center Pekanbaru. The results of this research show that therapeutic communication carried out and delivered well by psychologists to children is the main factor in success in therapy to children

No full textThis study aims to analyze the representation of hope and motivation values in the film True Spirit. True Spirit is a documentary film that tells the story of the struggle of Jessica Watson, a 16-year-old teenager who dreams of sailing around the world alone. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research method using John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The subjects that the researcher studied in this study consisted of the Netflix film True Spirit, while the object was the analysis of the hope and motivation values represented in the Netflix series (semiotic analysis). Data were collected using a literature study technique, namely using the film True Spirit as a source of research data. Data collection was carried out through observation and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive semiotic techniques. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the film True Spirit succeeded in conveying the values of hope and motivation through the representation of Jessica Watson's character, which visually and narratively depicts the struggle and perseverance in facing life's challenges. Through semiotic analysis, it can be seen that this film uses various icons, indexes, and symbols to create deep meanings that are relevant to the younger generation
