No full textCyber sexual harassment is an act of harassing someone either using phrases or sending photos that aim to make sexual comments or comments explicitly showing sexual comments. Cyber sexual harassment is a form of crime that occurs in the cyber world which is increasingly rapid in society with the growth of technology. This research aims to find out what makes women able to get cyber sexual harassment in cyberspace, especially in the Genshin Impact gaming community. The method used in this research is the visual criminology method, while the research subjects themselves are women who are members of the Genshin Impact gaming community on X who have received cyber sexual harassment. The results of this study are women in the Genshin Impact gaming community on X throughout 2023 received harassing comments either in the replay and direct message columns or on third-party websites. Victims feel unsafe and uncomfortable getting harassing comments received on the photos they upload. The conclusion of this research is that from the perspective of victimology, cyber sexual harassment can occur to victims even though the victim does not know the perpetrator. However, the victim can also become a victim even though the victim does not expect that his/her actions can encourage the perpetrator to do harm to him/her even though he/she does not specifically do anything against the criminal. The use of social media can encourage anyone to become a victim because the low awareness of the actions taken by the perpetrator makes the victim feel uncomfortable

No full textThe The authoritative parenting style of parents is one of the important factors that influences students' achievement motivation. The higher the parenting style provided by parents, the higher the students' achievement motivation. This research aims to determine the relationship between parents' authoritative parenting style and achievement motivation in SMA X Pekanbaru students. The population in this study were SMA X Pekanbaru students. This research uses quantitative methods. The number of samples obtained was 200 students using stratified random sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research were the authoritative parenting style scale which consists of 24 items and the achievement motivation scale which consists of 18 items. Based on research conducted on X Pekanbaru students, it was found that there was a relationship between parents' authoritative parenting style and achievement motivation in X Pekanbaru students. It can be seen from the results of the correlation coefficient between parents' authoritative parenting style and students' achievement motivation of (r) = 0.573 and it is known that the significant value is 0.000<0.05. This proves that there is a positive relationship between parents' authoritative parenting style and achievement motivation in SMA X Pekanbaru students

No full textSocial media is a place for an illustrator to follow trends, find information, work ideas and upload his work to get appreciation. The high intensity of social media use indicates the enactment of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Social Media Fatigue (SMF). The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between FoMO and SMF in the Illustrator Community. This study uses quantitative methods with 210 respondents determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the Illustrator Community group on Facebook and Discord server. The results of this study indicate that the R value = 0.405 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, proving the relationship between SMF and FoMO, so the hypothesis is accepted. An illustrator who intensely uses social media for fear of missing a trend or FoMO will make the illustrator vulnerable to SMF. The higher the level of FoMO, the higher the level of SMF, and vice versa

No full textWorkload is closely related to work stress which can potentially cause burnout. Various psychological disorders can attack nurses in carrying out their duties, causing nurses to become emotionally exhausted. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and burnout in nurses at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The data collection method used correlation with a sample size of 249 nurses. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The data analysis method used was Spearman Rank. Based on the analysis test, the results showed that there was a significant influence between work stress and burnout in nurses at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province with a correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.051 and a significance value (p) of 0.420 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a relationship between work stress variables and burnout in nurses at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Provinc

No full textAnger management refers to the ability or techniques to regulate feelings, calm oneself, and release anxiety, depression, or resentment, with the aim of achieving emotional balance (a balance between feelings and the environment). Early adolescents living in extended family after the loss of their parents often struggle with anger management as they must adapt to new family dynamics while still experiencing post-traumatic feelings from their loss. This study aims to explore anger management in early adolescents living in extended family. The research employs a qualitative method, collecting data through in-depth interviews and direct observation, which is then analyzed using Creswell's analytical model. The study involved three informants, early adolescents living in extended family, selected through purposive sampling based on specific characteristics. The results indicate that the three informants have different ways of managing anger, with some expressing it assertively, while others prefer to suppress it. Factors influencing this include trauma experiences, individual resilience, emotional support, and family communication. These findings highlight the importance of individual resilience and family dynamics in effective anger management, as well as providing insights for interventions that can support adolescents in similar situations

This study aims to determine how the communication patterns that occur in the management of the @kominfonatuna Instagram account managed by Diskominfo Natuna Regency in the field of Public Information and Communication Management (PIKP). This research uses qualitative research methods by collecting written or spoken words and observable behavior to produce descriptive data. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation involving 3 informants who had been targeted by researchers. It can be seen from the results of the research that the communication pattern that occurs in the field of Information Management and Public Communication of the Natuna Regency Diskominfo in managing the @kominfonatuna Instagram account is in the form of a star pattern or what is called an all-channel communication pattern. This pattern shows that every member, including the head of the field, journalists and graphic designers, has the same role to communicate with anyone, either directly or face-to-face or indirectly such as through cell phones. Every member has an equally important role in realizing the work to be achieved. This pattern shows that every member, both heads of field, journalists and graphic designers, that all have the same opportunity to communicate

No full textSocial media itself is widely used by people to communicate and also obtain various kinds of information. This is due to the sophistication of social media which can provide various kinds of up-to-date information, is easily accessible to the wider community and can be opened anywhere and at any time. Moreover, nowadays content from digital media is becoming increasingly overloaded so that only content that really attracts attention and is packaged well gets the attention of the audience. This research aims to see whether there is an influence of exposure to the social media account Instagram @rumahgadget.pku on customer engagement. This research uses explanatory research methods with a quantitative approach. Sampling uses the Accidental Sampling technique, namely determining the sampling technique based on chance or meeting the researcher. The data obtained from this sample was tested with Cronbach's alpha, the results showed that each Cronbach's Alpha coefficient for social media was 0.892. The reliability value for this variable has a higher value than the Cronbach's Alpha number, namely 0.942 and 0.938. The research results show that the statements in this study are considered reliable. The research results show that in general social media has a significant effect on customer engagement. The author's suggestion for this research is for @rumahgadget.pku to pay more attention to the messages displayed to followers

No full textAs social beings, humans certainly need social interaction between each other, such as in the village of Air Panas, Pendalian IV Koto sub-district, there is social interaction between the Nias and Javanese ethnic groups, where the social interaction between the two is not well established and there is a lack of social interaction so that there is a rift between the two ethnic groups. This study aims to determine the form of social interaction between the Javanese and Nias ethnic groups in the village of Air Panas, Pendalian IV Koto sub-district with an associative approach. The focus of the study covers four main aspects: cooperation, accommodation, assimilation, and acculturation. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the form of social interaction between the Nias and Javanese ethnic groups is positive. Social interaction between the two is well established and quite compact in several activities held in the village of Air Panas, Pendalian IV Koto sub-district. Cooperation is seen in joint development projects such as bridge construction, road repairs and holding surprise markets. Accommodation is realized through the holding of joint events such as village anniversary celebrations, Indonesian Independence Day celebrations and other cultural activities in Air Panas Village, Pendalian IV Koto District. Assimilation occurs when there is a mixture of languages in everyday life between the Nias and Javanese ethnic groups. Acculturation is reflected in the integration of cultural elements of the two ethnic groups in celebrations and educational curricula in Elementary Schools. This finding shows that social interaction between the Javanese and Nias ethnic groups strengthens social cohesion and creates an environment of mutual respect in the community of Air Panas Village, Pendalian IV Koto District

No full textThe existence of Islamic da'wah media is felt to be very necessary in the midst of weak public concern, especially young people, towards religious values. Now religion is only needed during the celebration of holidays. Therefore, the Raudhatul Jannah Mosque feels the need to expand the reach of da'wah with one of the social media, namely Instagram @erjetv. This research was conducted to find out how Instagram da'wah communication strategies @erjetv as a learning medium for followers. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research method with interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the study show that Instagram @erjetv implement a strategy with 5 points. The first is to determine the target audience first with several factors that are relevant to the content and goals of the da'wah to be conveyed. Second, determine communicators/presenters to ensure that the message of da'wah is conveyed properly and accepted by the audience. Third, it needs a schedule that is organized, followers will recognize and identify content easily. The frequency of posts also helps the algorithms of platforms like Instagram to show content to followers more often, which can increase engagement. Fourth, take advantage of the features on social media to make it easier to deliver content and reach more followers. And the fifth, Consistent with content branding, with strong branding will strengthen the image and message that you want to convey to followers so that it can increase engagement. Based on these five points, Instagram @erjetv convey the message of da'wah to become a learning medium by using communication strategies to reach many followers and take wisdom and lessons from the content presented
