Pengendalian Secara Biointensif Infeksi Begomovirus Pada Tanaman Cabai Merah Besar (Capsicum annuum L) Berbasis Tanaman Barier di Sulawesi Tenggara
Biointensive Control of Begomovirus in Big Red Chili Plants (Capsicum annuum L) Based on Barrier Plants in Southeast Sulawesi. Begomovirus is a disease-causing agent from the plant virus group. This disease is one of the inhibiting factors for chili cultivation in various countries and regions in Indonesia. If chili plants are infected when they are still young, it can cause yield loss and crop failure. The spread of Begomovirus in the field is determined by whitefly insects. Controlling the population of vector insects is important to reduce infected plants. Barriers around chili plants can be used as vector barriers in the field. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the control of Begomovirus on large red chili peppers using the Biointensive barrier plant model. The method used was Randomized Block Design (RAK), analysis of variance and further BNT test with a confidence level of 95%. Observation variables included: symptoms, incidence and severity of Begomovirus disease, whitefly population and growth and production of chili. The results showed that the biotic barrier planting pattern of kenikir flowers affected the decrease in the whitefly insect population, incidence and severity (PepYLCIV) and increased red chili production. The lowest whitefly population was 0.45 individuals/plant compared to the control of 1.08 individuals/plant, the lowest incidence and severity (PepYLCIV) were 45% and 1.33% with the highest chili production (1.14 kg-plot) compared to the control (0.31 kg-plot).Pengendalian Secara Biointensif Begomovirus pada Tanaman Cabai Merah Besar (Capsicum annuum L) Berbasis Tanaman Barier di Sulawesi Tenggara. Begomovirus adalah penyebab penyakit dari golongan virus tanaman. Penyakit ini menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat budidaya cabai di berbagai negara maupun daerah di Indonesia. Jika tanaman cabai terinfeksi saat masih muda dapat menyebabkan kehilangan hasil dan gagal panen. Penyebaran Begomovirus di lapangan ditentukan oleh serangga kutukebul. Pengendalian populasi serangga vektor penting untuk mengurangi tanaman terinfeksi. Barier di sekitar pertanaman cabai dapat digunakan sebagai penghalang vektor di lapangan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi pengendalian Begomovirus pada cabai merah besar dengan model Biointensif tanaman barier. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), analisis sidik ragam dan uji lanjut BNT taraf kepercayaan 95%. Variabel pengamatan meliputi: gejala, kejadian dan keparahan penyakit Begomovirus, populasi kutukebul serta pertumbuhan dan produksi cabai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola penanaman barier biotik bunga kenikir berpengaruh terhadap penurunan populasi serangga kutukebul, kejadian dan tingkat keparahan (PepYLCIV) serta peningkatan produksi cabai merah. Populasi kutukebul terendah 0,45 ekor/tanaman dibanding kontrol 1,08 ekor/tanaman, kejadian dan tingkat keparahan (PepYLCIV) terendah 45% dan 1,33% dengan produksi cabai tertinggi (1,14 kg-petak) dibanding dengan kontrol (0.31 kg-petak). 
PEMANFAATAN TEPUNG DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera) DALAM FORTIFIKASI NUGGET ITIK SERATI
This research was conducted to determine the level of preference of the panelists with the addition ofMoringa leaf flour on the quality of color, taste, texture of Serati duck nuggets. This research methodused a completelyrandomized design (CRD) with five treatments and four repetitions totaling 20 trialsconsisting of: (P0) duck meat 250 g + wheat flour 100 g, (P1) duck meat 250g + wheat flour 90 g +moringa leaf flour 10 g, (P2) duck meat 250 g + wheat flour 80 g + moringa leaf flour 20 g, (P3) duckmeat 250 g + wheat flour 70 g + moringa leaf flour 30 g and (P4) duck meat 250 g + wheat flour 60 g+ moringa leaf flour 40 g. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova/Analysis OfVariance), if the results show an effect then proceed with the DMRT test (DuncanMultiple Range Test)at 5% level. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 21 software (IBM, USA). The resultsshowed that the addition of moringa leaf flour to the Serati duck nuggets with had a significant effect(P<0,05) on color, taste and texture.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan panelis terdapat penambahan tepung daunkelor terhadap kualitas warna, rasa, dan tekstur nugget itik Serati. Metode penelitian ini menggunakanmenggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakun dan empat kali ulangan yangberjumlah 20 percobaan yang terdiri dari : (P0) daging itik 250 g + tepung terigu 100 g, (P1) dagingitik 250 g + tepung terigu 90 g + tepung daun kelor 10 g,(P2) daging itik 250 g + tepung terigu 80 g +tepung daun kelor 20 g, (P3) daging itik 250 g + tepung terigu 70 g + tepung daun kelor 30 g dan (P4)daging itik 250 g + tepung terigu 60 g + tepung daun kelor 40 g. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisisragam (Anova/Analisis Of Varience), apabila hasil menunjukkan adanya pengaruh maka dilanjutkandengan uji DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) padataraf 5%. Anilis statistik dilakukan denganmenggunakan software SPSS version 21 (IBM, USA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapenambahan tepung daun kelor memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap warna, rasa dantekstur nugget itik serati
ANALISIS PH, KEKERUHAN DAN JARAK AIR BERSIH TERHADAP SISA KLOR PADA JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI PELANGGAN IPA 1 A.YANI PTAM BANDARMASIH ZONA BANJARMASIN BARAT
Water is one of the crucial factors determining the basic needs of human life on Earth. The increasing demand for drinking water, if not accompanied by an increase in its production capacity, can lead to issues in service provision. PTAM Bandarmasih is a government institution responsible for providing clean water for the residents of Banjarmasin city. The objective of this research is to analyze the pH, turbidity, and distance of clean water related to residual chlorine in the distribution pipeline network within the customers' houses in IPA 1 A.Yani PTAM Bandarmasih Zone West Banjarmasin. This study is an analytical observational research using survey methods. A total of 30 water quality samples were taken from different locations, each representing a District Meter Area (DMA) block in the West Banjarmasin Zone. The data analysis employed univariate and bivariate analyses using Pearson correlation and Spearman Rank correlation. This method involved measuring all relevant variables and then conducting statistical analysis to observe the relationships between these variables. The research findings indicate that the average pH in the distribution water of IPA 1 A.Yani PTAM Bandarmasih is 7, with an average turbidity of 3.41 NTU. The average distance between customers' houses and IPA 1 A.Yani is 4.7 km. The analysis reveals strong correlations: pH with a correlation of -0.767, turbidity with a correlation of -0.779. The parameter most strongly related to residual chlorine value is the distance, with a very strong correlation of -0.850. Air merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam penentuan kebutuhan hidup manusia. Peningkatan kebutuhan air minum jika tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan kapasitas produksinya maka akan menimbulkan masalah dalam pelayanan. PTAM Bandarmasih merupakan instansi pemerintah dalam bidang penyedia air bersih untuk kebutuhan masyarakat kota Banjarmasin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pH, kekeruhan dan jarak air bersih berhubungan terhadap sisa klor pada jaringan pipa distribusi di saluran rumah pelanggan IPA 1 A.Yani PTAM Bandarmasih Zona Banjarmasin Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian observasional analitik dengan menggunakan metode survei. Jumlah sampel kualitas air dilakukan pada 30 titik lokasi sampling, dimana titik sampling tersebut sudah mewakili tiap blok DMA (District Meter Area) yang ada di wilayah Zona Banjarmasin Barat. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariate dan bivariate menggunakan Korelasi Pearson dan Rank Spearman. Metode ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengukuran pada semua variabel yang terkait, kemudian dilakukan analisis statistik untuk melihat hubungan antar0variabel. PH rata-rata air distribusi IPA 1 A diukur, dan data tersebut digunakan untuk menginformasikan temuan penelitian. Jarak yang diukur dari IPA 1 A.Yani sampai ke tempat tinggal pelanggan. Sampel yang diambil dari IPA 1 A.Yani berjarak rata-rata 4,7 kilometer. Korelasi antar parameter yang mempunyai interpretasi kuat adalah -0,767 untuk pH dan -0,779 untuk kekeruhan. Dengan interpretasi yang sangat kuat dan korelasi -0,850, jarak adalah yang paling erat hubungannya dengan nilai residu klorin
A Descriptive Study on the Interference of Banjar Kuala Banjarese Towards English in Pronouncing English Vowels and Consonants of the English Language Education Study Program Students
This research aims as a study conducted in order to describe the interference of Banjar Kuala Banjarese towards English in Pronouncing English Vowels and Consonants of the English Language Education Study Program Students of FKIP ULM Batch 2017. The findings of the research being acquired are as follows: Banjar Kuala Banjarese, as the research subjects’ mother tongue; does interfere with English in the process of learning and developing pronunciation ability upon the target language. During the work of data collecting, the research subjects seem to replace the English sounds which they are not fully aware of the correct way to pronounce them, with the similar sounds in their mother tongue. The given sounds in Banjar Kuala Banjarese are the overgeneralizations in place of the sounds that are considered as troublesome in English such: /e/ as in /æ/, /k/ or /c/ as in /tʃ/, /j/ as in /dʒ/, /t/ as in /θ/, and /d/ as in /ð/. In consequence, the students might face difficulty in trying to attempt the correct pronunciation as the English sounds being tested do not exist in their mother tongue, thus the interference takes place. The absence of interference from mother tongue during the process of deriving the target language is crucial. It is highly recommended that the students are taking into consideration to revisiting the pronunciation practice they once had in Intensive English course and Phonology course as they still have problems to correctly pronounce the sounds /æ/, /tʃ/, /dʒ/, /θ/ and /ð/ which may hinder their fluency in mastering the target language. Whereas this research is expected to become beneficial, therefore the writer is positive that, as they take the given suggestion; the students’ proficiency may gradually improve over time for the better
Undergraduates’ Difficulties In Writing Recount Text: An In-Depth Analysis
The foremost writing function is to be utilized as an indirect communication means. It could be considered as the most difficult skill to be mastered due to recurring difficulties, especially in recount text, which make it challenging in constructing a good writing. This study utilized a descriptive qualitative method for describing the undergraduates’ problem in constructing recount text in the Intermediate Writing class of FKIP ULM Banjarmasin year of 2020/2021. The chosen study subjects were 34 undergraduates from the said course. By utilizing instruments which are questionnaire and interview, it was showcased from the study result that there exist the highest-three and the lowest-three difficulties faced by the subjects. The highest-three were 30 undergraduates facing difficulties in grammar or 21,0%, 29 in vocabulary or 20,3%, and 28 in topic with or 19,6%. While the lowest-three problems were capitalization with 2 undergraduates or 1,4%, conjunction with 14 undergraduates or 9,8%, and tenses along with punctuation which both occurred to 20 undergraduates (14,0%). Grammar was the most difficult aspect for them. It was proposed that the undergraduates should be more energetic in educational process; enquire the teacher regarding recount text’s particular aspect which they face difficulties to comprehend, and the teacher should also give feedback towards the undergraduates’ piece of writing so that they could advance their writing capability since writing is a capability requiring constant process and practice. Therefore, the undergraduates should practice writing constantly, from the simplest one such as daily activity report or diary, then advance the writing content by retelling past experience by utilizing recount text.
 
Item Analysis Of English Final Test Of Junior High School
This study aimed to examine the quality of the English final test items of seventh grade in a public school located in Banjarmasin. The research used the descriptive method with a quantitative approach because it tries to describe the test items’ quality. It was analyzed by using ITEMAN 3.0. The sample of this research was the English final test for seventh-grade students at SMPN 24 Banjarmasin. The research findings show that: (1) based on the content validity, all items are in harmony with the learning objective in the syllabus. Moreover, based on item validity, there are 41 items (82%) considered valid items; (2) the reliability of the English final test is categorized as high reliability with Cronbach alpha 0.800; (3) there were 16% of items considered as difficult items, 44% items were considered as moderate items, and 40% items were considered as easy items; (4) 2% of the items have very poor discrimination power, 16% of the items have poor discrimination power, 22% of the items have satisfactory discrimination power, 50% of the items have good discrimination power, and 10% of the items have very good discrimination power; (5) 9% of the items have very bad distractor efficiency, 16% of the items have bad distractor efficiency, 24% of the items have good distractor efficiency, and 54% of the items have very good distractor efficiency; (6) based on the quality of the item, 64% of the items need to be revised or discarded. In conclusion, the test still needs some revisions and improvements
TYPES QUESTIONS USED BY 8TH GRADE ENGLISH TEACHERS IN ENGLISH CLASSROOM INTERACTION IN INDONESIA
Questions are essential for teachers as a tool to communicate and evaluate their students’ comprehension in the classroom. The research was conducted to check and asses the most questions used, cognitive questions based on Bloom’s Taxonomy criteria and the implementation of questions. To check the frequency of questions, the researcher used checklist from some experts and Bloom’s Taxonomy. Therefore, the researcher employed descriptive qualitative study and the subjects of the research was two 8th grade English teachers of SMPN 1 Banjarmasin. Research data was collected from observing the English interaction in the classroom. The findings of the research showed that display questions dominated from all of the questions used. The implementation of cognitive questions in the classrooms also did not fulfill the requirements to be in cognitive questions based Bloom’s Taxonomy. By all means, teacher can collaborate with other teachers and prepare the questions as long as it fits the characteristics of the students
MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERKONTEKS KAWASAN LAHAN BASAH DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT BERBANTUAN QUIZIZZ PADA MATERI PELUANG
Motivasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian indikator-indikator motivasi belajar. Beberapa indikator motivasi belajar tersebut masih belum terlihat pada saat pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, salah satu alternatifnya adalah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament dalam pembelajaran matematika berbantuan Quizizz dimana LKPD dan evaluasi yang digunakan berkonteks kawasan lahan basah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa serta mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament berbantuan Quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 2 Banjarmasin kelas VIII H tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah rata-rata, persentase dan uji korelasi. Setelah proses pembelajaran berkonteks kawasan lahan basah dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament berbantuan Quizizz, hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat beberapa indikator motivasi belajar yang mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan, nilai motivasi belajar siswa berada di kategori baik, (2) nilai tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa berada di kategori tinggi, dan (3) tidak terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PAHIT DAN ULAT PADA PECAHAN
Pengembangan media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam meningkatkan efektifitas dan motivasi dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efisien, sehingga dapat memotivasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan Plomp, tahapan yang digunakan yaitu preliminary (tahap investigasi awal), design (tahap perencanaan), realization (konstruksi), dan test evaluation revision (tes evaluasi revisi). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, angket respon guru dan angket motivasi. Hasil uji kevalidan dengan 3 orang validator didapat 92,67% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan dari angket respon siswa sebesar 92,83% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan dari angket respon guru didapat sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil keefektifan didapat kriteria sangat efektif dengan perolehan persentasi sebesar 88,5%. Media pembelajaran “Pahit dan Ulat” yang dikembangkan mendapat kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif
Karakteristik Kimia Tanah pada Areal Kelapa Sawit dan Nilai Konservasi Tinggi (NKT) di Kabupaten Tapin, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan
In the practice of oil palm plantation management, land clearing and cultivation using heavy equipment will change soil conditions from anaerobic to aerobic. This condition will cause sulfide compounds contained in the soil, or commonly referred to as pyrite (FeS2) to undergo an oxidation process that can cause the formation of sulfuric acid compounds (H2SO4) which when dissociated will release H+ ions in the soil solution, thus increasing soil acidity. In addition, improved drainage will also lead to a high likelihood of plant nutrients being leached from the soil. On the other hand, the HCV areas will be left unmanaged by maintaining the original vegetation adjacent to the oil palm plantations. So there are two different land management systems between oil palm land and HCV areas which in theory will have different land characteristics, one of which can be seen from differences in soil chemical characteristics. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the characteristics of several soil chemical properties including pH, C-organic, Al-dd and P-available in oil palm land and HCV areas. This research is a field research using survey method. Sampling in the field was carried out by purposive sampling at PT Kharisma Inti Usaha, Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Soil samples used in this study were soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm on oil palm land and HCV areas where each land was taken as many as 10 sampling points, so that the total sample points amounted to 40 sampling points. The results showed that the characteristics of soil acidity (pH), carbon (C-organic), aluminum (Al-dd) and phosphorus (P-available) on oil palm land were lower than HCV areas in PT Kharisma Inti Usaha Tapin Regency
