Pengaruh Aplikasi Larutan Bawang Putih (Allium sativum) Terhadap Intensitas Serangan Hama Daun Pada Tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L)
Pakcoy plant (Brassica rapa L.) is a plant that can be planted in low or highlands. However, it is suitable for planting in areas with an altitude of 100-500 m above sea level. Vegetable pesticide solution of garlic (Allium sativum) can be an alternative in suppressing leaf pests on pakchoy plants. The results of the research showed that the application of garlic solution in treatments C (15%) and D (20%) was effective in suppressing leaf pest attacks on pak choy plants by 19.25% and 19.50%.Tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) merupakan tanaman yang bisa ditanam pada dataran rendah atau tinggi. Namun cocok ditanam pada daerah dengan ketinggian 100-500 m diatas permukaan laut. Pestisida nabati larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) dapat menjadi alternatif dalam menekan hama daun pada tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi larutan bawang putih pada perlakuan C (15%) dan D (20%) efektif dalam menekan serangan hama daun pada tanaman pakcoy sebesar 19,25% dan 19,50%
Uji Streptomyces sp. Isolat Lahan Rawa Untuk Menekan Pertumbuhan Colletotrichum sp. Asal Cabai Rawit Varietas Hiyung Secara In Vitro
Hiyung chili is a local chili variety from South Kalimantan which is often attacked by anthracnose disease caused by the fungus Colletotrichum sp. The attack became severe because it was planted in swamp land. An environmentally friendly potential alternative for controlling anthracnose disease is using antagonistic agents from the bacteria Streptomyces sp. Streptomyces sp. bacteria isolated from 4 swamp lands in South Kalimantan, 2 lowland swamps and 2 tidal swamps. The research aims to determine the ability of Streptomyces sp. Swampland isolates inhibit the growth of the fungus Colletotrichum sp. origin of Hiyung chili in vitro. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 16 treatments based on the origin of the isolates, 4 isolates from Sirang Laut, 4 isolates from Puntik, 4 isolates from Gudang Hirang and 4 isolates from Tajau Landung. Streptomyces sp bacteria. Isolated using selective Yeast Malt Agar media. The results of the exploration found 16 isolates of Streptomyces sp. and all isolates were able to inhibit the growth of Colletotrichum sp. with an inhibition percentage above 50%. The highest percentage of inhibition for isolates from Puntik was 96.44% and the lowest percentage for isolates from Sirang Laut was 51.95%. There were 8 isolates that produced clear zones in the inhibition test which was thought to be due to producing antibiotics, 1 isolate was hyperparasitic, and 7 isolates had an overgrowth mechanism.Cabai hiyung merupakan varietas cabai lokal asal Kalimantan Selatan yang banyak terserang penyakit antraknosa yang disebabkan oleh jamur Colletotrichum sp. Serangan menjadi parah karena ditanam di lahan rawa. Potensi alternatif pengendalian penyakit antraknosa ramah lingkungan yaitu menggunakan agens antagonis bakteri Streptomyces sp. Bakteri Streptomyces sp. diisolasi dari 4 lahan rawa di Kalimantan Selatan yakni 2 rawa lebak dan 2 rawa pasang surut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan Streptomyces sp. isolat lahan rawa dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Colletotrichum sp. asal cabai hiyung secara in vitro. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 16 perlakuan berdasarkan asal isolat, 4 isolat asal Sirang laut, 4 isolat asal Puntik, 4 isolat asal Gudang Hirang dan 4 isolat asal Tajau Landung. Bakteri Streptomyces sp. diisolasi menggunakan media selektif Yeast Malt Agar. Hasil eksplorasi ditemukan sebanyak 16 isolat Streptomyces sp. dan semua isolat mampu menghambat pertumbuhan Colletotrichum sp. dengan persentase penghambatan di atas 50%. Persentase penghambatan paling tinggi isolat asal Puntik sebesar 96,44% dan persentase paling rendah isolat asal Sirang Laut sebesar 51,95%. Ada 8 isolat menghasilkan zona bening pada uji daya hambat yang diduga karena menghasilkan antibiotik, 1 isolat hiperparasit, dan 7 isolat dengan mekanisme overgrowth
PENGEMBANGAN E-LKPD BERBASIS ANDROID DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI LAJU REAKSI
Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan e-LKPD berbasis android dengan model problem solving pada materi laju reaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, dan (3) keefektifan e-LKPD dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design) dan pengembangan (develop). E-LKPD diuji cobakan pada 28 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIA 2 SMAN 1 Alalak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, angket keterbacaan, lembar observasi, dan lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai berikut: (1) Sangat valid dilihat dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan media. (2) Sangat praktis dilihat dari uji keterbacaan perorangan dengan kategori baik, dan uji keterbacaan pada kelompok kecil, respon peserta didik, respon guru, observasi keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, serta aktivitas mengajar guru menggunakan e-LKPD dan mengelola kelas dalam kategori sangat baik. (3) Sangat efektif dilihat berdasarkan N-gain keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi
Seventh Graders’ Vocabulary Mastery On Descriptive Texts
Vocabulary is one among compulsory language elements to be learned by EFL pupils. Possessing a sufficient amount of vocabulary as well as mastering the its utilization is crucial for implementing the language well. Vocabulary mastery is not learnt through specific course at school, albeit it is generally taught integrated along with other language capabilities, for instance reading comprehension in educational process. Therefore, this study emphases on discovering the students’ vocabulary mastery on descriptive text, particularly for the seventh-graders of SMPN 25 Banjarmasin by employing quantitative method. There were 32 EFL students which choses as study sample by implementing cluster random sampling technique. A test which distributes by utilizing Google Form of fill in the blanks which consisted of 50 items was utilized as the study instrument. The result showcased that the subjects’ vocabulary mastery on descriptive texts was “poor” which was proven by the first-test and second-test mean score which were 61,31 and 61,19 respectively. The parts of speech which thought to be the most difficult by the subjects in the first and the second tests were on adverb along with adjective. Most subjects faced difficulties with the meaning, word choice, as well as word function understanding of parts of speech which made them difficult on deciding the words’ position throughout the sentences. The analyst proposed some suggestions; the teacher should provide more explanation toward their pupils regarding the correct utilization of parts of speech position and their role in the sentence, as well as the difference among noun, verb, adjective, along with adverb within the sentence by providing many examples so they can easily regulate the word within the sentence. The EFL pupils were also proposed to learn more regarding noun, verb, adjective, as well as adverb by conducting examination on the word forms and function within the sentence
Students’ Internal Factors In Learning Writing
Students’ internal factors is the factors that come from inside the learners themselves. This research aimed to find out the internal factors students in learning writing English at English Education Study Program Batch 2018. This research used descriptive quantitative research method to analyze the internal factors of students. The subject of this study were 23 students. The instrument for this research was questionnaire. The instrument divided into two parts. The first part is close-ended questions and the second part is open-ended questions. The close-ended questions used Likert-scale format and the open-ended questions were in the form of essays. The results indicated that based on the data on the motivation aspect mostly choose scale sometimes with a score of 67 (58.26%) followed by interest aspect and the highest score is scale sometimes too by 60 (52.17%). And the last is the intelligence aspect and choose scale sometimes with the score 71 (61.73%). In conclusion, the internal factors that can students in learning writing English at English Language Education Study Program Lambung Mangkurat University Batch 2018 is the intelligence aspect with the highest score from all factors. And based on the score interpretation criteria 61 – 80% is classified as the strong level as the result of data. Furthermore, the intelligence of each students can define their writing English
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC APPROACH IN TEACHING WRITING IN SMAN 7 AND SMAN 4 BANJARMASIN
Scientific approach is used in the latest curriculum and has five steps such as observing, questioning, exploring, associating, and communicating. Writing skill becomes an important skill for students because writing skill has significance in improving a communicative competence of learning the language. The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of scientific approach in teaching writing for eleven grade students at SMAN 7 and SMAN 4 Banjarmasin. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The researcher used purposive sampling for deciding the sample. The sample of this study is an English teacher and students in SMAN 7 and SMAN 4 Banjarmasin. The instruments that were used in this study were observation, interview, and questionnaire. In this research, the data was analyzed qualitatively by using three stages. The findings showed that the teacher has implemented steps of scientific approach in the learning process of writing skills. However, all of these steps cannot be carried out optimally, because writing skills require a long writing process. From five steps of scientific approach, writing process is only seen at associating and communicating. In conclusion, the English teachers of SMAN 7 Banjarmasin and SMAN 4 Banjarmasin have implemented scientific approach in teaching writing skill, although the approach is not applied perfectly. It is suggested that the teachers apply scientific approach more maximally. The teacher could maximize the use of more varied learning methods so that students are more active and use another approach that more appropriate with teaching writing. For further research, this study can be a reference to explore more about how to use the scientific approach or other methods that can be successful for teaching English, especially teaching writing
PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINIER DUA VARIABEL KONTEKS LINGKUNGAN LAHAN BASAH
Salah satu mata pelajaran wajib pada pendidikan formal adalah matematika. Namun masih banyak siswa yang menganggap matematika sulit dipahami karena kurang memahami konsepnya. Beberapa sekolah masih menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berupa LKPD yang masih belum mampu membantu siswa memahami konsep pembelajaran karena hanya berupa materi, contoh soal, dan soal latihan. LKPD juga kurang memberikan ruang kepada siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya sendiri. Salah satu solusi untuk memandu penguasaan konsep matematika adalah dengan menyediakan perangkat pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis masalah kontekstual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik yang valid berdasarkan permasalahan kontekstual pada sistem persamaan linear dua variabel pada kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan dari Plomp yang terdiri dari penelitian pendahuluan, pengembangan prototipe, dan penilaian. Pada penelitian ini tahap penilaian tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan dana. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi yang dilakukan oleh 3 orang validator. Hasil uji validitas LKPD yang dikembangkan menunjukkan kriteria valid karena memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3,26. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menghasilkan LKPD yang valid dalam konteks lingkungan lahan basah pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel
HUBUNGAN GAYA BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI STATISTIKA PADA IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA
Gaya belajar siswa mengacu pada berbagai cara siswa belajar dan memproses informasi. Gaya belajar siswa dapat mempengaruhi keefektifan belajarnya, sehingga penting bagi guru untuk memahami gaya belajar siswa agar dapat mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Namun faktanya guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga suasana kelas kurang menyenangkan dan hasil belajar juga kurang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mendeskripsikan gaya belajar siswa, 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar statistika siswa, 3) Mengetahui hubungan gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar statistika. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis statistika product moment. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui angket dan tes. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Nonprobability Sampling yaitu Purposive Sampling, sampel yang digunakanhanya 1 kelas yang berjumlah 25 orang. Hal inilah yang menjadi objek penelitian siswakelas X jurusan tata busana 3 SMKN 4 Banjarmasin. Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Kaya Nitrogen terhadap Sifat Kimia Tanah Podsolik dan Pertumbuhan Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.)
Ultisols is the dominant soil type occupies dry land areas in Indonesia. This soil type is a great potential for the development of the agricultural sector in Indonesia. Constraints of physical, chemical, and biological properties of Ultisols must be considered in utilizing for optimal development of agricultural production. This study aimed to determine the effect of inorganic and organic fertilizers in soil pH, exchangeable-Al, CEC, plant dry weight, and N uptake of maize planted on an Ultisols. This research was carried out in February to June 2021 and conducted in a greenhouse and Soil Physics and Chemistry Laboratory, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University. The data obtained from all observed variables were analyzed using orthogonal contrast. The results showed that the application of fertilizer, either inorganic and organic, were able to increase soil pH, but decreased plant N uptake and plant dry weight. The application of inorganic fertilizers increased soil pH more than the application of organic, but the N uptake and dry weight of plants increased more due to the application of organic fertilizers than the inorganic. The application of ZA fertilizer decreased soil pH more than the application of urea, although the changes in exchangeable-Al, CEC, N uptake, and plant dry weight were not different. The application of green manure was able to increase the exchangeable-Al content and reduce the N uptake of plants than the application of manure
Pengaruh Ukuran Butiran Kapur Pertanian yang Diberikan Berdasarkan Sulfat Larut terhadap Peningkatan pH Tanah Sulfat Masam
Acid sulfate soils contain pyrite and when pyrite is oxidized it causes the soil pH to decrease. Application of agricultural lime CaCO3 is needed to raise soil pH. The grain size of lime greatly affects the fast, slow, and persistent increase in soil pH. This research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor, namely the grain size of agricultural lime (18-35 mesh, 18-70 mesh, <18 mesh, 35-70 mesh, <35 mesh, <70 mesh). The treatment was repeated 4 times. The dose of lime given is based on the value of the bulk density of the soil and the sulfur of the soil solution. Observation of soil pH was carried out after an incubation period of 4 weeks using glass electrodes with various ratios of soil and water (1:2.5; 1:5; 1:7.5; 1:10). The results showed that the grain size of lime affects the increase in pH of acid sulfate soil in the soil-water ratio measurement method of 1:5 and 1:10, except for the measurement method 1:2.5 and 1:7.5. The smaller the lime size, the greater the increase in pH of acid sulfate soil. The largest increase in soil pH in the soil-water ratio measurement method was 1:10, for each grain size from the largest to the smallest: 18 - 35 mesh, 18 - 70 mesh, <18 mesh, 35 - 70 mesh, <35 mesh and <70 mesh, resulting in soil pH successively: pH 4.52; pH 4.58; pH 4.53; pH 4.60 ; pH 4.63 and pH 4.70
