POTENSI PENYEDIAAN PAKAN HIJAUAN UNTUK TERNAK RUMINANSIA DI KECAMATAN BAJUIN KABUPATEN TANAH LAUT
This research aims to determine the potential of regional forage for the development ofruminant livestock businesses in Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency. This research uses asurvey method. To measure the data research variables used, measurements were carried outusing the judgment sampling method. Judgment sampling is taking samples from relevant andavailable information from certain sources and seeking information from livestockstakeholders. Data were analyzed using a comparative method to determine the potential forproviding green fodder and developing beef cattle by comparing beef cattle populationsbetween villages in Bajuin District and also comparing it with existing literature studies. Theanalysis carried out in this research includes Basic Livestock Commodity Analysis,Contribution Analysis, Feed Potential Analysis, Regional Capacity Analysis, LivestockMaintenance Performance and SWOT Analysis. The results of the research show that from nine villages in Bajuin District, the average LQ was 0.94-1.03. In the contribution analysis, itwas found that nine villages had positive contribution analysis values with feed potential inBajuin District of 10,572.61 tonnes of DM/year which could accommodate 3,173.07 units oflivestock. This shows that the beef cattle population in Bajuin District has the potential fordevelopment. It can be seen from the available population and the abundant availability of feedso that the capacity of the area in Bajuin District, which consists of nine villages, can bedeveloped for the development of beef cattle farming. However, efforts are also needed fromseveral parties to maximize the potential they already have so that business development canbe carried out optimally.Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi hijauan pakan ternak wilayah untukpengembangan usaha ternak ruminansia di Kecamatan Bajuin Kabupaten Tanah Laut.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Untuk mengukur variabel penelitian data yangdigunakan maka dilakukan pengukuran menggunakan metode judgement sampling. Judgementsampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dari informasi yang relevan dan tersedia dari sumbersumber tertentu serta mencari informasi dari para stakeholder peternakan. Data dianalisismenggunakan metode komparatif untuk mengetahui potensi penyediaan hijauan pakan ternakdan pengembangan sapi potong dengan cara membandingkan populasi ternak sapi potong antardesa di Kecamatan Bajuin serta dibandingkan juga dengan studi literatur yang ada. Analisisyang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi Analisis Komoditas Peternakan Basis, AnalisisKontribusi, Analisis Potensi Pakan, Analisis Kapasitas Tampung Wilayah, KeragaanPemeliharaan Ternak dan Analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sembilandesa yang ada di Kecamatan Bajuin didapatkan rata-rata LQ sebesar 0,94-1,03. Pada analisiskontribusi diperoleh sembilan desa memiliki nilai analisis kontribusi positif dengan potensipakan di Kecamatan Bajuin sebesar 10.572,61 ton BK/tahun yang dapat menampung 3.173,07satuan ternak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Bajuin memilikipotensi untuk dilakukan pengembangan. Dapat dilihat dari jumlah populasi yang tersedia sertaketersedian pakan yang berlimpah sehingga kapasitas tampung wilayah di Kecamatan Bajuinyang terdiri dari sembilan desa tersebut dapat dikembangkan untuk pengembangan usahaternak sapi potong. Akan tetapi juga diperlukan usaha dari beberapa pihak untuk dapatmemaksimalkan potensi yang sudah dimiliki agar pengembangan usaha dapat dilakukan secaraoptimal
Perencanaan Pengembangan Sistem Distribusi Air Bersih Pada PDAM Bersujud Tanah Bumbu di Unit BNA Batulicin
In 2021 PDAM Bersujud Tanah Bumbu in the Batulicin BNA unit recorded a watertreatment discharge of 270 L/d, while the maximum daily demand discharge is 206 L/d, meaningthat there is still 54 L/d of water that should be used for the development of distribution networks,and also in that year the coverage of clean water distribution services in the Batulcin District wasrelatively small, namely 39%, this was because many people in the Batulicin sub-district usedground water or drilled wells. continuous use of groundwater is not recommended, according toLaw no. 7 of 2004 article 34 concerning Groundwater states that groundwater is one of the waterresources whose existence is limited and its damage results in extensive impacts and its recoveryis difficult. So that at BNA Batulicin it is necessary to carry out a plan for the development of aclean water distribution system. Planning is carried out for 9 years in accordance with VillageSDG's with a target of maximum service coverage or 100% until 2030. Planning is divided into 2stages, namely in 2021 to 2026, and in 2026 to 2030. Calculation of water needs is calculatedfrom population projections by arithmetic and geometric methods. From the results of calculatingthe water needs of BNA Batulicin in 2030 with a total population of 139,709 people, the averagewater requirement is 328 L/d, the peak hour requirement is 492 L/d, and the maximum dailyrequirement is 361 L/d.. Hydraulic simulation in the end of the pipeline network planning iscarried out with the EPANET 2.0 application, with the result that it meets the water flow technique,namely the pressure parameter of 96% node is worth 10 – 30 mka and 4% is worth 30 – 50 mka,while the pressure loss parameter is 40% is < 0.01 m/km, 31% is worth 0.01 – 1 m/km, 15% isworth 1 – 4 m/km and 13% is worth 4 – 10 m/kmKeywords : PDAM, EPANET 2.0, DistributionNetwork.Pada tahun 2021 PDAM Bersujud Tanah Bumbu di unit BNA Batulicin tercatat debitpengolahan air sebesar 270 L/d, sedangkan debit kebutuhan harian maksimum sebesar 206 L/d,artinya masih ada 54 L/d air yang seharusnya bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan jaringandistribusi, dan juga pada tahun tersebut cakupan layanan distribusi air bersih pada KecamatanBatulcin terbilang kecil, yaitu sebesar 39 %, hal ini di sebabkan karena masyarakat kecamatanBatulicin banyak yang menggunakan sumur bor atau air tanah. penggunaan air tanah secara terusmenerus tidak dianjurkan, menurut UU No. 7 Tahun 2004 pasal 34 tentang Air Tanah menyatakanbahwa air tanah adalah salah satu sumber air yang keberadaannya terbatas dan kerusakannyamenyebabkan dampak yang luas serta pemulihannya sulit diatasi. Sehingga pada BNA Batulicinperlu dilakukan rencana pengembangan sistem distribusi air bersih. Perencanaan dilakukan selama9 Tahun sesuai dengan SDG’s Desa dengan target cakupan layanan maksimal atau 100% hinggatahun 2030. Perencanaan dibagi pada 2 tahap, yaitu pada tahun 2021 sampai dengan 2026, danpada tahun 2026 sampai dengan 2030. Perhitungan kebutuhan air dihitung dari proyeksi pendudukdengan metode aritmatik dan geometrik. Dari hasil perhitungan kebutuhan air BNA Batulicin padatahun 2030 dengan total jumlah penduduk 139.709 jiwa kebutuhan air rata rata sebesar 328 L/d,kebutuhan jam puncak sebesar 492 L/d, dan kebutuhan harian maksimum ssebesar 361 L/d..Simulasi hidrolis pada tahun akhir perencanaan jaringan pipa dilakukan dengan aplikasi EPANET2.0, dengan hasil sudah memenuhi teknis pengaliran air, yaitu pada parameter tekanan sebesar96% node bernilai 10 – 30 mka dan 4% bernilai 30 – 50 mka, sedangkan pada parameterkehilangan tekan sebesar 40% bernilai < 0.01 m/km, 31% bernilai 0,01 – 1 m/km, 15% bernilai 1– 4 m/km dan 13% bernilai 4 – 10 m/k
Writing Descriptive Texts Ability of Tenth-Grade Students SMA Kristen Kanaan Banjarmasin
Writing is a language production skill which is pivot and complicated to learn thoroughly, especially for sophomore EFL learners. Hence, this study was origanized to describe and investigate the capability of sophomore EFL learners of Higher Secondary School Kristen Kanaan Banjarmasin in descriptive text composing . This study was organized by implimenting qualitativeapproach while the study design was descriptive. The study population was the sophomore of Higher Secondary School Kriten Kanaan Banjarmasin where 29 EFL learners from class X MIA were choosen as sample. In obtaining the data, the analyst implemented writing test as the study instrument. According to the test result, it could be discerned that the capability of sophomore EFL learners of Higher Secondary School Kristen Kanaan Banjarmasin in descriptive text composing was in fair category. It revealed that most EFL learners were unable to elaborate their paragraph and develop the topic adequately
A Descriptive Study on The English Teaching Process at One of Junior High School in Banjarmasin
In the English teaching process, the teacher should find out appropriate material, media, and method. The teacher gives the materials that are suitable for the syllabus and based on the curriculum. A teacher can affect the success or failure of teaching English process because a teacher can take a decision for every activities in teaching-learning process. The teacher can take the choice of method to be applied in the teaching-learning process. The method of teaching must be practiced in class. This study employed a descriptive method and qualitative approach. The research is conducted at the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 25 Banjarmasin and the teacher as the subject. Observation and interview were used in this research as instrumentations. This study described the material, media, and method in the English teaching process. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that the teacher used material from the textbook for ninth grade “Bahasa Inggris_Think Globally Act Locally". The teacher used visual media such as picture, textbook, whiteboard, and board marker. The teacher used various methods. From the results, it suggested to the teacher should enrich learning and increase students’ knowledge. A teacher should use interesting media in teaching to make the students interested and enthusiastic in learning. A teacher should always use different method in teaching to avoid students’ boredom in the English teaching process
Unlocking the Key Factors behind Speaking Anxiety in English for Foreign Language Students at University
Speaking is a skill that can help the students to communicate and express their feelings and ideas in a direct way. However, it is difficult for students to master it because of many problems. One of those problems is speaking anxiety. Speaking anxiety is a problem that occurs in the learning process and causes shyness and nervousness. This research is intented to find out the contributing factors of speaking anxiety of English Language Education Study Program students batch 2019 in Basic Speaking at Lambung Mangkurat University. This research used qualitative method. The subjects of this research were the Basic Speaking students batch 2019. The data was gained by observation, interview and documentation.In analyzing the data, the researcher used descriptive explanation. The result showed that there were several factors of speaking anxiety in Basic Speaking. In conclusion, the contributing factors of speaking anxiety of English Language Education Study Program students batch 2019 in Basic Speaking at Lambung Mangkurat University were speaking activities in front of the class, being nervous, being shy, having negative thoughts of lecturer’s correction of their performence, having trouble with grammar skill, having trouble with vocabulary skill, not having a good fluency in speaking English, afraid of making mistakes, and lack of preparation about the material. For the students, they need to respect each other and be more aware that speaking anxiety only limits their speaking English abilities. For other researchers, the researcher expected that the findings of this research would be used as the references for the part that have not been contrived
Parents’ Roles in English Learning Towards The Third-Grade Students Of One of Middle Schools in Banjarmasin
Parents have a foremost role to carry in their children’s life. The learning success of children is also influenced by external factors, as with parents and teachers. The educational responsibility of the children cannot be focused entirely on the teacher, but also the parents. It is hoped that teachers and parents will be able to fully understand that children’s learning is essential. At the end of the day, this understanding will lead to the improvement of students’ achievement, especially in learning English. In this research, the researcher aimed to find out how are the roles of parents playing in English learning towards the third-grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Banjarmasin. The type of this research was descriptive within the quantitative approach. The data were collected from a questionnaire and used the Likert Scale. The data analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The results of this research give information that the roles of parents playing in English learning towards the third-grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Banjarmasin were the advisor, the controller, the motivator, and the facilitator. The facilitator was the most used role with the percentage of parents were 51% (64 parents), meanwhile, the less used role was the advisor with the proportion of parents were 17% (21 parents). As suggestions, parents need to maximize their awareness of their children’s education and realize that their role in children’s learning is exceedingly important. Additionally, teachers also need to strengthen the collaboration between teachers and parents, for instance providing information about student’s achievement on a regular basis and also expected to be able to help parents about what roles they should do at home
PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA
Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan.suatu kemampuan siswa yang.mampu memberikan.penjelasan.mendasar,.membangun keterampilan, memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut, mengatur strategi dan taktik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika. Namun fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih cenderung rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Eksperiment dengan populasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Banjarmasin. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, diperoleh kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi dan tes dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA
META ANALISIS: PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Banyak penelitian telah dilaksanakan mengenai pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, namun temuan-temuannya beragam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan effect size dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan karakteristik studi berupa jenjang pendidikan dan ukuran sampel. Data diperoleh dari penelusuran melalui Google Cendikia dengan kata kunci tertentu dan diperoleh 55 studi primer yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2017-2023. Selanjutnya diperiksa sesuai kriteria inklusi dan didapat 20 studi primer yang memenuhi kelayakan. Dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) V3.0, effect size dari 20 studi primer dianalisis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan effect size 0,835 tergolong pada kategori besar; (2) berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan lebih berpengaruh pada jenjang SMP dengan effect size 0,869 tergolong pada kategori besar; dan (3) berdasarkan ukuran sampel lebih berpengaruh pada sampel besar (>30) dengan effect size 0,878 tergolong pada kategori besar
Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Guano dan Dolomit terhadap Ketersediaan Unsur Hara Posfor pada Tanah Podsolik
Podzolic soils have various problems including acidity of the soil (pH) and low soil nutrient content. This study aims to determine the effect of guano and dolomite on the availability of P nutrients in podsolik soils, and to determine the best treatment. This study was a pot experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely (P1 = Dolomite 2 t ha-1); (P2 = Guano Fertilizer 0,5 t ha-1); (P3 Guano Fertilizer 0.5 t ha-1 and Dolomite 2 t ha-1); (P4 = Guano Fertilizer 1 t ha-1 and Dolomite 2 t ha-1); (P5 Guano Fertilizer 1.5 t ha-1 and Dolomite 2 t ha-1). Each treatment was repeated 4 times, so there were 24 experimental units. The results showed that the application of dolomite and guano fertilizers had an effect on the available-P, pH, Exchangable Ca and Exchangable Al. However, it has no effect on Mg-dd in Podzolic soil. The application of dolomite and guano fertilizer with a dosage of 0.5 t ha-1 guano fertilizer and 2 t ha-1 dolomite was the best result for the availability of P, Exchangable Ca and pH
DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF FOURTH SEMESTER STUDENTS’ LISTENING COMPREHENSION PROBLEMS IN ACADEMIC YEARS 2020/2021
Listening comprehension is essential in the learning process, especially for EFL students. However, the students still tend to have problems in listening comprehension that hinder their learning performance. Additionally, the students in the recent semester are studying from home with different situations and equipment than in the listening class. Furthermore, this research pointed to identify the fourth-semester students' listening comprehension problems and the factor causing them in the academic year 2020/2021. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. The participant selected using purposive sampling. The participants are fourth-semester students consist of six students. The researcher collected data from questionnaires and interviews. The data were about the students' problem in listening comprehension and the factor causing it. Based on the result of this study, the students had four major problems in learning listening. The primary problem is unfamiliar words that the students encountered which slowed the students to think about the meaning of those words and missed the next part of the speech. They are also troubled with their memory because they may easily forget about the word that they just listened mainly in long- spoken text. The other problem is related to the rate of delivery, where the students are hard to keep up with the speaker if it is too fast. A variety of accents also troubled the students to understand the spoken text because they are not used to another accent than American. The main reason why the students have these problems are because of their lack of practice outside the listening class that makes them lack vocabulary, anxiety, and nervousness while doing the listening task that makes that hard to think and lose focus.
