    Fenomena kekeringan di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia terjadi pada musim kemarau setiap tahun. Masalah kekeringan sangat mempengaruhi ketahanan pangan Indonesia, karena lahan pertanian kekeringan akan mengalami gagal panen. Apabila masalah kekeringan ini tidak diatasi maka negara akan mengalami kekurangan bahan pangan, ditambah lagi adanya situasi Pandemi Covid-19, yang menyulitkan distribusi barang ke daerah – daerah. Untuk mengatasi kekeringan tersebut diperlukan sebuah sistem pengairan (irigasi) yang baik, sehingga pada musim kemarau lahan pertanian masih mendapatkan asupan air. Untuk mencegah terjadinya kekurangan bahan pangan Nasional, maka diperlukan sebuah alat yang dapat membantu irigasi pada musim kemarau seperti memanfaatkan energi angin untuk penggerak pompa irigasi. Fenomena ini yang menjadi urgensi penelitian ini untuk dilaksanakan, untuk membangun turbin angin Savonius, dan menganalisis keefektifannya pada debit air agar dapat membantu mengatasi masalah kekeringan di lahan pertanian pada musim kemarau. Permasalahan yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah menguji performa dan menganalisa kinerja Turbin Angin Vertikal Tipe Savonius. Adapun tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisa turbin angin tipe savonius yang efektif berdasarkan debit air yang dihasilkan dari setiap variasi diameter sudu yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 tahapan yaitu tahap 1 meliputi perancangan turbin angin dan tahap 2 meliputi pengambilan data aplikasi turbin pada irigasi. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental. Kegiatan dalam penelitian meliputi pembuatan turbin angin Savonius dan pembuatan Turbin Savonius dengan variasi diameter sudu.     The wonder of the world is cultural wisdom placed in the form of a list of the most important man-made creations. The seven wonders of the world are extraordinary masterpieces that make people think that beauty seems impossible to make in its time. With the advancement of multimedia technology, it needs to be developed into a learning medium about the introduction of the seven wonders of the world 3D using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Augmented Reality (AR) technology is a technology that combines a two- or three-dimensional virtual object into a real three-dimensional environment and then projects those virtual objects into real time. This research aims to attract students who want to see more real how the original form of the monument of the seven wonders of the world. The design uses sketchup software for object creation, Vuforia Augmented Reality app to create android apps and Unity app to process images, sounds, and graphics. The development of this application uses augmented reality technology with Marker Based Tracking method. This method will track marker patterns that have been saved to display digital elements. The ideal distance for marker detection is 20 -90 cm with an angle slope between 0o - 90o

    Competition between industries currently requires the industry to continue to improve in improving the industrial system. Machine flexibility is one of the programs to improve industry's ability to increase competitiveness. In meeting consumer demand, general purpose machines have become one of the foundations for industrial systems in producing various types of products. Machine performance will decrease in line with the age of the machine / component and the length of the machine's operation. Maintenance planning / component replacement is one way to reduce downtime. A lathe is a general purpose machine, which has components that are often damaged, such as gear and control cables, which cause a lot to stop using the machine. Scheduling replacing components is a vital process in reducing lost time and minimizing costs arising from decreased machine performance. The focus of this research is determining the component replacement schedule that can meet these two criteria. This can be achieved by applying the age replacement method. The Age Replacement method is basically looking for a balance point between the probability of component failure and component reliability to obtain the optimal probability value of total down time. By estimating the pattern of component failure with the Weibull distribution, calculations are made for the two components that are most frequently damaged on a lathe. The results obtained are the time to replace the components, the replacement period and the costs arising from the optimal replacement of these components. By paying attention to the total down time probability value, it can be concluded that the optimal time to apply preventive replacement on the gear component and the control cable component

    Kelelahan (fatigue) adalah bentuk kegagalan yang terjadi pada struktur yang mengalami tegangan dinamis dan berfluktuasi, akibat dari kondisi lingkungan kerja di industri yang tidak terlalu memperhatikan bagian-bagian komponen yang bisa mengalami kegagalan, banyak kasus yang menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja akibat kegagalah suatu bahan tersebut. Dengan ketersediaan alat pengujian yang sudah ada dan mudah didapatkan, pencegahan dari kegagalan suatu komponen bisa di hindari dengan alat pengujian kelelahan yang bisa memprediksi umur kelelahan suatu bahan, hasil penelitian ini juga akan sangant bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa politeknik kotabaru dan dosen dalam pemahaman ilmu bahan pada pengujian poros. Hasil pengujian alat menunjukan hasil yang  baik, dengan menggunakan standar ASTM E466 pada ketiga spesimen yang telah di uji, dapat dilihat pada jumlah siklus dengan menggunakan sensor pembaca putaran yang langsung muncul pada layar monitor dengan memberikan 3 jenis pembebanan dengan hasil pada spesimen 3 dengan suklus terendah pada beban pengujian lelah 22 kgf sebesar 9418 siklus, sedangkan jumlah siklus yang paling banyak terjadi pada pengujian kelelahan pada spesimen 1 dengan pembebanan pengujian lelah  14 kgf sebesar 348677 siklus. Kondisi material dan sifat ketahanan lelah material memiliki hubungan yang sangat erat. Setiap penambahan beban pada spesimen uji akan memperpendek siklus atau ketahanan lelah material. Penambahan beban berarti juga menambah tegangan pada spesimen, batas aman beban dapat diketahui dari perhitungan dan pengujian (Kurva S-N) berada pada daerah dibawah beban sebesar 14 kgf atau tegangan sebesar  273,27 MPa

    This study aims to examine the effects of product design, product quality, brand image and price on consumer satisfaction with dancow milk product in Medan city. This study used quantitative descriptive method and the sample used is100 consumer who consume dancow milk product in Medan city. The analysis method used is multiple linier regression. The results of data analysis show that partially and simultaneously the product design, product quality, brand image and price shows a positive coefficient number and has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The coefficient determination of 0,481 means that the variable product design, product quality, brand image and price has explain the effect on consumer satisfaction by 48,1% while the remaining 51,9 % is another independent vatriable not examined in this study

Machine reliability is one of the programs to increase the competitiveness of a company in meeting consumer demand. The pulverizer machine is a very important supporting machine for producing electricity. The pulverizer has several components that are often damaged, such as the coal feeder, gearbox, hydraulic pump, and grinding roller, which causes the production process to experience downtime. This research is about planning the maintenance of machine components. This problem will be solved by using the FMEA approach with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to determine the failure mode and the effect of failure on critical components. There is 1 failure mode that has the highest Risk Priority Number value. The failure mode is a torn V-Belt. The results of the MTTR and MTTF calculations are used to determine the time interval for the torn V-Belt failure mode, the MTTF value is 735.32 hours or 30.6 days, MTTR is 44.84 hours or 1.8 days. Recommendations for appropriate action through the Task Selection V-Belt failure mode fall into category A, namely Safety Problem with Time Directed (TD) action and optimal scheduling planning of 15 days. Keywords  : Scheduling, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Task Selection, TD

    PT. XYZ is an automotive manufacturing industry. In productivity, PT. XYZ supplied the products of several suppliers. Therefore, it requires a measure of quality assurance for suppliers and supply items so that PT. XYZ may obtain more items according to the established standards. Process Change Request (PCR) is the application for standard supply change on components such as 4M (Man, Machine, Method, Material). The process grooves and PCR forms are standardized and listed on the SQAM (Supplier Quality Manual Assurance). Supplier Quality Assurance Manual (SQAM) is associated with ISO 9001 about its quality management and process systems. The flow of processes and PCR forms has been found a problem of misalignment between the ideal time and the actual time of implementation of the PCR phase, which has slowed down the supply of PT. XYZ.     This research is focused on the Quality Control Cylinder Comp Analysis of motorcycles in maintaining product quality according to consumer needs and desires. The research was conducted at PT.X which is engaged in manufacturing, and distributor of X brand motorbikes. The problems that are in this study include; Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA). The purpose of this research is to ensure that all materials or suppliers comply with the specified standards before being used in the production process, assisting the quality control system during the production process to wait and problems that may arise during the production process, and ensure that the products to be sent are free from defects. before reaching the customer. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The type of data used is primary data. Primary data collection uses interview techniques, so that information can be obtained according to the company. The results of research and data collection show that the quality control in maintaining the quality of the Comp Cylinder starting from Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) in accordance with the SOP and specifications of PT. X
