DEM NGULON–Based Symbolic Modeling as a Group Guidance Intervention for Entrepreneurial Behavior Development
This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of the DEM NGULON-Based Symbolic Modeling technique in fostering entrepreneurial behavior among high school students. Although Symbolic Modeling has been shown to strengthen motivation and self-efficacy, limited research has examined how integrating local cultural values can enhance its impact in entrepreneurship education. Using a Collaborative Action Research approach, the intervention was implemented over four cycles, with guidance counselors and students as partners. The technique was structured into six reflective stages to support the internalization of values. Five aspects of entrepreneurial behavior were measured: innovativeness, risk-taking, hard work, managerial ability, and decision-making. The results indicate significant improvements in innovativeness, risk-taking, and managerial ability during Cycle I (p < 0.05), while other aspects showed no significant change. In Cycles II to IV, changes continued in a consolidation pattern. Students with lower initial scores recorded the greatest improvements. These findings highlight the contribution of positioning DEM NGULON as a culturally grounded reinforcement mechanism within modeling-based guidance. The study suggests that this approach can serve as an early catalyst for behavioral change and offers a relevant framework for entrepreneurship education that aligns psychological learning processes with local values.

The Influence of Education Funding Sources, Gratitude, and Organizational Participation on Students\u27 Subjective Well-being
This study aims to analyze the effect of tuition fee sources, gratitude, and organizational participation on the subjective well-being of students at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University of North Sumatra. A quantitative correlational design was employed with multistage proportional random sampling, involving 374 students selected from a total population of 5,837. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires developed based on theoretical indicators for each variable, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that simultaneously, tuition fee sources, gratitude, and organizational participation had a significant effect on students\u27 subjective well-being (R² = 0.294; F = 51.310; p < 0.001). Partially, sources of tuition fees affected subjective well-being (β = 0.187; p < 0.001). Gratitude was the strongest predictor (β = 0.500; p < 0.001), and organizational participation also showed a significant but smaller effect (β = 0.086; p = 0.020). Students demonstrated high levels of gratitude, organizational activity, and subjective well-being across all tuition fee source categories, with empirical means exceeding hypothetical means. These findings confirm that enhancing students\u27 subjective well-being requires adequate financial support, strengthening positive psychological attitudes through gratitude, and facilitating meaningful social involvement in organizational activities. The study contributes empirical evidence for developing comprehensive guidance and counseling programs in higher education that integrate financial assistance strategies, gratitude-based psychological interventions, and structured organizational engagement to support student well-being and academic success.

The Impact of Life Story Writing on Insecurity in University Students Living with Foster Parents
This study aims to examine the impact of life story writing on feelings of insecurity among college students who had been temporarily placed with foster parents. Using a qualitative, hermeneutic-phenomenological approach, data were collected through individual counseling with nine students who reported insecurity. The narratives written by participants served as a reflective space for exploring past wounds, alleviating emotional burdens, and forming new understandings of themselves. The results show that writing a life story facilitates self-awareness, uncovers harmful defense mechanisms, and encourages the creation of new meanings from painful experiences. There is a shift from a trauma-centered narrative to a resilience-centered narrative, recognizing self-worth, fostering hope, and building a positive identity. Spiritual dimensions also emerged as a source of strength in making sense of adversity. Thus, life story writing is an effective intervention for helping students manage insecurity and strengthen their psychosocial resilience.

Career Search Efficacy and Student Life Satisfaction among Vocational School Students: The Mediating Role of Career Decision Self-Efficacy
This study investigates the relationship between career search self-efficacy and student life satisfaction among vocational high school students, with career decision self-efficacy (CDSE) as a mediator. Using a quantitative correlational design, 729 students from six vocational schools in Banda Aceh were selected through proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected using the Career Search Self-Efficacy Scale (CSSES), the Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale–Short Form, and the Student Life Satisfaction Scale, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Sobel tests. The results are that career exploration efficacy, personal efficacy, and parental support positively influence CDSE and life satisfaction, whereas interview efficacy shows a negative effect due to anxiety. Mediation analysis confirms that CDSE significantly mediates the link between career search self-efficacy and life satisfaction, especially through self-appraisal and planning. The study extends Social Cognitive Career Theory by integrating cultural factors and highlighting the importance of school-based guidance in strengthening planning skills and family involvement.

The Role of Educational Management in Developing Teachers\u27 Digital Competencies as the Key to Successful Technology-Based Learning
The rapid advancement of digital technology has reshaped the educational landscape, yet many elementary school teachers still struggle to integrate technology effectively into instruction. This research addresses the gap between managerial support and teachers’ digital competence in achieving successful technology-based education. Guided by educational management theory and the digital competence framework, this study analyzes how the role of educational management and teachers’ digital skills affect learning success. Using a quantitative explanatory survey involving 105 elementary school teachers in Karawang Regency, data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS. The results show that both variables significantly influence technology-based learning success (p = 0.000, R² = 0.684). These findings highlight that visionary and adaptive school management, combined with strong teacher digital competence, are key drivers of educational transformation. The study contributes theoretically to the discourse on digital pedagogy and, practically, to strengthening managerial strategies in digital-era schooling.

Resilience and Servant Leadership as Predictors of Organizational Commitment in Generation Z Employees
High turnover intention among Generation Z employees remains a major challenge for organizations in Indonesia. Many young workers leave their jobs within the first two years due to better career opportunities, poor organizational culture fit, and difficulties in maintaining work–life balance. This condition emphasizes the importance of strengthening organizational commitment among young employees. This study aims to examine the direct influence of resilience and servant leadership on organizational commitment among Generation Z employees. The participants were 410 employees aged 18 to 29 years (M = 23.6, SD = 2.9), including 156 male employees (38.0%) and 254 female employees (62.0%). Organizational commitment was measured using the Organizational Commitment Scale developed by Allen and Meyer (1990), adapted for the Indonesian context. Resilience was assessed using the Resilience Scale by Reivich and Shatté (2002), while servant leadership was measured using the Servant Leadership Scale by Liden et al. (2008). All instruments demonstrated excellent reliability (Cronbach’s α > .90). The results show that both resilience and servant leadership have significant positive effects on organizational commitment. These findings highlight the importance of developing resilience and servant-oriented leadership as key strategies to enhance employee commitment and reduce turnover intention among Generation Z workers.

Exploring the Role of Elementary School Teachers as Counselors: Perceptions, Practices, and Challenges in Student Support
The purpose of this study is to delve into the changing role of elementary school teachers as counselors, examining attitudes, practices, and barriers to providing emotional and mental health support. This study, conducted at Medalsari Elementary School in the Karawang Regency, West Java, also emphasizes the need for teachers’ involvement in cultivating and sustaining students’ social-emotional health, particularly in rural areas where mental health professionals are scarce. The qualitative methodology of the study employs surveys and open-ended questions, which enable the exploration of teachers\u27 understanding of counselling, the practices they utilise, and the barriers they face. Teachers know they have two jobs and one is critical, being a counselor as well as an educator, but it’s hard to do both because there isn’t enough time, training, or resources. Despite these challenges, teachers implement techniques such as speaking directly to students, practicing mindfulness, and approaching parents. The study highlights the need for enhanced professional development and organisational support to adequately integrate counselling into teachers\u27 roles.
