    AI-Generated Responses to Sensitive Pesantren Cases for Musyrif/Musyrifah Counseling Communication Training: A Snapshot Study

    Pesantren increasingly face psychosocial issues such as bullying and harassment, requiring sensitive interventions. Musyrif/musyrifah often serve as first responders but lack formal counseling or Psychological First Aid (PFA) training. This snapshot study examines the feasibility of large language models (LLMs) as simulators for developing counseling communication skills in pesantren contexts. Five LLMs: Gemini, DeepSeek, ChatGPT, Claude, and Meta AI, were tested using a culturally relevant case scenario. Their counseling responses were evaluated through a seven-skill rubric: attending, empathy, reflection, clarification, paraphrasing, summarizing, and nonverbal sensitivity. Five raters independently scored the outputs. Gemini achieved the highest mean (M = 4.89), followed by DeepSeek (M = 4.71) and ChatGPT-5 (M = 4.57). Claude (M = 3.86) and Meta AI (M = 3.20) scored lower, especially in nonverbal sensitivity. The study concludes that advanced LLMs, particularly Gemini and DeepSeek, show strong potential as scalable, culturally adaptive tools to strengthen counseling readiness in pesantren.     Implementation of Al-Qur’an Memorization Learning to Improve Soul Cleansing from an Islamic Counseling Perspective in Islamic Junior High School in Deli Serdang District

    This study analyzes the implementation of Al-Qur\u27an memorization aas a means of cleansing the soul (tazkiyah an-nafs) from an Islamic counseling perspective in two Islamic junior high schools in Deli Serdang Regency: Al-Azhar Asy-Syarif Islamic Junior High School and Bintang Islamic Junior High School. Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, the study involved the principal, the memorization teacher, the guidance counselor, the homeroom teacher, and the students as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show: (1) The planning of the tahfidz program in both schools is oriented towards memorization as well as cleansing the students\u27 souls in the context of Islamic counseling; (2) Implementation focuses on the integration of spiritual values ​​through the talaqqi method and independent learning; (3) Evaluation includes cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects through monthly tasmi\u27, tasmi\u27 akbar, and jilsat itqon; (4) Obstacles include differences in students\u27 cognitive abilities, heterogeneous educational backgrounds, and limited learning time; (5) The program\u27s advantages are seen in the improvement of students\u27 noble morals, discipline, and peace of mind. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a holistic and meaningful tahfidz learning model within modern Islamic education.     The The Effectiveness of Experiential-Learning–Based Group Counseling Embedded with Ca’oca’an to Enhance Madurese Students’ Emotional Intelligence

    This study examines the effectiveness of experiential learning–based group counselling, embedded with Ca’oca’an, in enhancing Madurese students’ emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence follows Goleman’s five dimensions: self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy, and social skills. An experimental equivalent time-series design was used with 12 students at Madrasah Aliyah Mabdaul Falah Pamekasan. The intervention comprised two cycles of group counseling that integrated Ca’oca’an proverbs into the four stages of experiential learning. Emotional intelligence was measured with a Likert-type scale at pretest, posttest 1, and posttest 2. Wilcoxon signed-rank tests and normalized gain scores showed significant improvements at each measurement point, with an overall N-gain of 0.87 (high). The largest gains were in self-awareness and self-regulation, supported by qualitative reflections showing better emotional awareness, self-control, empathy, and interpersonal behavior. These findings indicate that experiential-learning–based group counseling grounded in local wisdom is effective and culturally responsive for strengthening students’ emotional intelligence.     Alienation as a Predictor of Career Anxiety: An Empirical Study of Generation Z in Bengkulu Indonesia

    Although Generation Z is widely regarded as adaptive in the digital era, this cohort also faces significant social and economic pressures in career planning. However, empirical evidence on the influence of social alienation on career anxiety in non-Western contexts, particularly in Indonesia, remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of alienation on career anxiety among Generation Z in Bengkulu City, drawing on Émile Durkheim’s theory of anomie, which posits that the weakening of social norms may lead to alienation and uncertainty about life direction. This study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. The sample consisted of 380 Generation Z respondents aged 20–24 years, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires that measured alienation based on Seeman’s (1959) conceptual framework with local adaptation, as well as career anxiety, and were analyzed using simple linear regression in SPSS. All instruments met the criteria for validity (r > 0.1005) and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.60). The results indicate that alienation significantly predicts career anxiety (β = 0.64, p < .001), with the regression equation Y = 27.489 + 0.757X. Alienation accounts for 41% of the variance in career anxiety (R² = .41), indicating a moderate to strong effect size. These findings confirm the relevance of Durkheim’s theory of anomie in understanding the contemporary social dynamics of Generation Z in Indonesia. In practice, the results highlight the importance of developing career guidance and counseling programs that integrate psychosocial dimensions, particularly reducing social alienation, to mitigate career anxiety among Generation Z.     Global Insights into the Effectiveness of Moral and Character Education: Implications for 21st Century Learning

    Moral-based character education plays a vital role in developing individuals with integrity, responsibility, and empathy, particularly in the context of Society 5.0, where technological advancement must be balanced with strong moral values. This study aims to examine the global effectiveness of moral and character education interventions in enhancing students’ moral understanding and character development. A systematic literature review and meta-analysis were conducted following PRISMA guidelines, synthesizing findings from experimental and quasi-experimental studies published between 2018 and 2025, sourced from major international and national databases. Using a random-effects meta-analytic approach, the results indicate a statistically significant positive effect of moral and character education interventions, despite variations across study contexts. These findings demonstrate that moral and character education contribute meaningfully to the formation of moral identity and ethical awareness. In practice, this study underscores the importance of integrating moral values into curricula and learning practices to strengthen integrity, empathy, and responsibility as essential competencies in 21st-century education.     The use of alternative routes by truck drivers in Srumbung, Magelang, raises ethical and social questions regarding the boundaries between individual freedom and collective responsibility. This study aims to analyze such actions through Herbert Marcuse’s theory of repressive tolerance and employs a critical qualitative approach grounded in four analytical principles: (1) true freedom involves awareness of social impact; (2) unreflective freedom reinforces structural domination; (3) personal actions must consider social justice; and (4) individual rights are limited by collective rights. These four principles serve as analytical tools to examine the phenomenon of logistical system domination over rural community spaces. The findings reveal that individual actions perceived as free actually operate within constructed power structures and the pressures of capitalist efficiency. Such actions tend to ignore broader social structures and reinforce existing inequalities.     Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Dividend Payout Ratio, Dividend Yield, Earning per Share, dan Trading Volume Activity  terhadap Return Saham pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2020-2023. Metodologi: Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode tahun 2020-2023 yang berjumlah 95 perusahaan. Sampel yang didapatkan dari kriteria yang telah ditentukan yaitu sebanyak 21 perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial trading volume activity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham, sedangkan dividend payout ratio dan earning per share berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return saham. Sementara itu, dividend yield berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return saham. Orisinalitas: Penelitian ini memiliki orisinalitas data selama periode 2020-2023. Periode ini mencakup masa pandemi COVID-19 yang memberikan dampak tidak biasa pada kinerja perusahaan dan dalam penggunaan metode analisis yang membedakan dengan penelitian sebelumnya, yang tercermin dalam pola return saham yang sangat tidak terduga, di mana rata-rata return saham anjlok ke -5% pada tahun 2020 (saat pasar ditutup akibat COVID-19) sebelum melonjak kembali pada tahun 2021. Analisis data di periode yang volatile ini menjadi kontribusi kebaruan. Keterbatasan Penelitian: Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terbatas pada dividend payout ratio, dividend yield, earning per share, dan trading volume activity. Masih terdapat variabel lain yang relevan dan berpotensi memengaruhi return saham, seperti return on assets, debt to equity ratio, price to book value, price earning ratio, atau faktor makro ekonomi yang belum dimasukkan

    Elementary School Teachers\u27 Perceptions of Augmented Reality Learning Media through Assemblr Edu

    The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in education, particularly in how teachers teach and students learn. One innovation increasingly applied is Augmented Reality (AR) technology through the Assemblr Edu platform. This study aims to analyze elementary school teachers’ perceptions of using AR-based learning media via Assemblr Edu and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving eight elementary school teachers in Karawang Regency who participated in Assemblr Edu training. The results show that 75% of teachers perceived AR media as very effective in increasing students’ motivation and facilitating understanding of abstract concepts, especially in science and mathematics lessons. Teachers stated that the 3D visualization features enhanced student engagement and comprehension. However, limited infrastructure, especially unstable internet access in schools located in the outskirts of Karawang, remains a key barrier. Teachers emphasized the need for continuous mentoring and hands-on workshops to strengthen their ability to create AR-based learning materials. The findings highlight Assemblr Edu\u27s potential as an innovative medium that supports teacher professionalism and digital literacy. These results can serve as a basis for regional policies on teacher-training programs that integrate AR technology into elementary education.     Construct Validity of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support among Indonesian Mothers of Children with Autoimmune Conditions

    Social support is a multidimensional construct that is central to the psychological well-being of caregivers facing sustained caregiving responsibilities. Despite its importance, empirical evidence supporting the psychometric validity of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) among caregiver populations in Indonesia remains limited, particularly among mothers caring for children with autoimmune diseases. This study aimed to evaluate the construct validity of the MSPSS within this specific caregiving context. A quantitative psychometric approach was employed, involving 399 Indonesian mothers recruited from hospitals and autoimmune support communities. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was conducted to assess the hypothesized three dimensions of perceived social support, namely family, friends, and significant others. The results demonstrated satisfactory model fit (CFI = 0.947; TLI = 0.932; RMSEA = 0.068; SRMR = 0.039). Convergent validity was supported by adequate indicator loadings, Average Variance Extracted values ≥ 0.50, and Composite Reliability coefficients exceeding 0.70. These findings confirm that the MSPSS demonstrates robust construct validity and reliability for assessing perceived social support among Indonesian caregiver mothers, supporting its use in both research and clinical settings.     Periode Khulafaur Rasyidin (632-661 M) merupakan periode krusial dalam sejarah Islam, menandai peralihan kekuasaan setelah wafatnya Nabi Muhammad. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan Islam pada masa pemerintahan empat khalifah pertama, yaitu Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq, Umar bin Khattab, Utsman bin Affan, dan Ali bin Abi Thalib. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kajian pustaka, dengan menelaah berbagai sumber sejarah dan literatur Islam, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Abu Bakar berfokus pada pemulihan stabilitas masyarakat melalui pemberantasan kemurtadan dan kodifikasi Al Qur\u27an. Pada masa pemerintahan Umar bin Khattab, wilayah Islam berkembang pesat di Persia, Suriah, dan Mesir, disertai dengan pembentukan sistem administrasi pemerintahan. Utsman bin Affan menekankan standarisasi manuskrip Al-Qur\u27an dan ekspansi ke Afrika Utara dan Armenia. Meskipun era Ali bin Abi Thalib diwarnai oleh konflik internal, beliau tetap menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai keadilan dan ilmu pengetahuan. Kepemimpinan keempat khalifah ini pada akhirnya meletakkan fondasi yang kokoh bagi peradaban Islam yang berlandaskan keadilan, ketertiban, dan tauhid.
