Reconsidering Constitutional Formation. Research challenges of Comparative Constitutional History
Comparative Constitutional History of the 19th century cannot rely on that which is focused by constitutional documents. As evolutionary achievements of the interplay of the text with its contemporary societal context, with the political practice and with the respective constitutional interpretation, constitutions depend on communication. This becomes obvious by the constitutions` indecisiveness in crucial points, like the relationship between monarch and parliament. As the latter is left open to the dynamics of constitutional practice, the Restoration of the monarchy, after the Charte Constitutionnelle of 1814 which modelled roles, could not eliminate potentialities for parliamentarianism in the political practice after 1830, like the French double trust-parliamentarianism, the concurrency of popular and monarchical sovereignty in the Belgium constitution, the improvised parliamentarianism in the Frankfurt National Assembly and the Italian costituzione flessibile. Basic patterns of constitutional communication serve as suitable tertia comparationis. They are taken from the constitutional semantic and can realize different meanings of identical wording in different national contexts.
Corte costituzionale e sistema costituzionale in Germania

Riallestimenti, licenze e dispute: Luigi Canina Presidente dei Musei Capitolini tra 1855 e 1856 / Refurbishments, Licences and Disputes: Luigi Canina President of the Capitoline Museums between 1855 and 1856
Through an accurate investigation of unedited archival documents kept at the Capitoline Archive in Rome, in the folder Presidenze e Deputazioni, this essay intends to reconstruct a page in the history of the Capitoline Museums that has been overlooked by scholars: that is, the one related to the appointment of the architect and archaeologist Luigi Canina as president of the museum in 1855-1856. Analysis of circulars, reports and accounts produced in these years allows the author to present a perspective on the new museum outfittings proposed by Canina, as well as the opening calendars, the study permits and the work uniforms he adopted, including also the controversies among the museum staff that he resolved. Lastly, a brief consideration will involve the director Alessandro Tofanelli, whose role in the museum development in the mid-18th century is completely ignored at the state-of-the-art.

Through the interventions of Alvise Zenobio, a Venetian nobleman in exile in London, the essay proposes the war begun in 1792 as the key to distinguishing classical republicanism from revolutionary republicanism. Zenobio was a republican who distanced himself from 1789 because the choice of war confirmed for him the violent and plebeian nature of the French Revolution. This approach makes it possible to return to the theme of war by proposing it as the true instrument of democratization of the revolutionary process in France. Comparing the positions of Brissot and Robespierre, it seems clear that the precedent of the American War of Independence was the natural point of reference for Brissot’s bellicism, while at the same time challenging Robespierre’s instrumental choice of preferring peace. As a result, in France, as in America, the war became revolutionary, paving the way for the figure of the soldier ready to enter politics and become the synthesis of the whole nation: America would have Washington, France would have Bonaparte.À travers les discours d’Alvise Zenobio, noble vénitien exilé à Londres, l’article fait de la guerre de 1792 le point de distinction entre le républicanisme classique et le républicanisme révolutionnaire. The history of the characters of Albanian literature for children
The history of Albanian children’s literature has passed through differentliterary periods during its development. Initially, religious texts of medieval literaturewere used as such literature in schools, but pure children’s fiction was born duringthe period of Albanian Romanticism, to continue further through the literary periods ofCritical Realism, Sentimentalism, Symbolism, Social Realism, up to the current of postmodernism.During its development, we sometimes see this literature with religious ideas, sometimes with national ideas, sometimes with strong social criticism, sometimes withefforts to create gender equality, sometimes with left communist ideas. Thus, Albanianchildren’s literature changed over time in its goals, changed in its artistic and ideologicalcommitments: Albanian children’s literature during its development was used not only forartistic effects, but it was often used by ideologues as a powerful tool for conveying variouspolitical, cultural, ideological, religious, and patriotic ideas to children. So, duringits history, Albanian children’s literature had not only an artistic role but also a social, economic, and political role. As such, children’s literature has been an inseparable part ofthe political and cultural changes in Albania
From image anxiety to image turn: the commencement of graphic narrative in Chinese children’s literature
There is a profound image anxiety in the children’s education in ancientChina. The entertainment and bionic nature of images are considered harmful to children’sgrowth, picture books are therefore strictly restricted for children to access. Thisimage anxiety had gradually changed with the process of visualization in modern Chinesesociety. Children are able to construct the legitimacy of viewing in a new cognitiveparadigm, carry out their own visual practice, and establish a connection between viewingand knowing. The commencement and development of graphic narrative is a keystep. It is accompanied by the renewal of image concepts and graphic narrative methods.Out of respect for the unique attributes of children’s vision, such as subjectivity, Chinesechildren’s literature graphic narrative has opened up a visual field full of imagination, enriching Chinese modern and contemporary visual culture. The emergence of graphicnarration in children’s literature has become the embryo of picture book in Chinese children’sliterature, and an indispensable link in the history of Chinese picture books beforetheir development. It has experienced a special historical development process, absorbedwestern cultural resources, and broken through the shackling of tradition
An Interdisciplinary Contextualization: Reasons behind the Translation of Beggar Child
This paper reads a translated novel, Beggar Child, to indicate how translation co-relates to popular narratives. Beggar Child writes about childhood poverty andthe character’s later success in adulthood. The novel is translated to ‘educate’ Tibetanchildren about hardship and success. In this paper, we illustrate that the social context ofproducing the Tibetan version of Beggar Child falls on an aspiration of pursuing material well-being in modern Tibetan society. The aspiration is mainly embodied via two aspects. The first aspect is the problematic self-help success logic, and the second is the grotesquecarnival depiction in Beggar Child
