Building a Business Conceptual Framework for Control Tools
Get PDFThe theoretical foundations existing in the business context on tax control tools were presented, which allowed the required analysis to be carried out to determine the impact of tax incentives on new companies in Ecuador and in this way establish the economic contribution they provide. to the country. This result corresponds to the Research Project: Strategy for the application of tax incentives in the constitution of new companies in Ecuador. To do this, companies in different sectors of Ecuador will be selected annually, to which a survey and interview will be applied to establish the tax tools that each of them has; with the purpose of identifying the tax processes that apply in the business field. With the compilation of the tax tools currently used in each company, it was determined to design new proposals that contribute to their continuous improvement, current strategies will be established that allow the growth of these businesses. The preparation of this article and research process will allow us to theoretically support whether the implementation of a tax Coworking at the Instituto Superior Universitario Espíritu Santo developed by the students of the Taxation career will contribute to the growth and good tax practices in new companies in Ecuador
Analysis of the amelocemental junction in premolars of an ecuadorian population
Get PDFThe aim was to microscopically analyse the prevalence of amelocemental junction types in premolars according to Choquet\u27s classification. The study was observational, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample included extracted maxillary and mandibular premolars (60 premolars). Random sampling was used to select the teeth. As a result, it was determined that the most prevalent Choquet case was the bis-to-bis case, which represented 35 teeth (58.33%). In 19 teeth we can observe the cement on enamel case and it gives us a percentage of 31.66% of the sections, on the other hand, in 6 teeth we observe the dentine between cement and enamel with a percentage of 10%. And finally, we can observe that no tooth presents the first case of choquet which belongs to enamel over cementum. Concluding that the most predominant relationship between enamel and cement was the case of Choquet Bis a Bis

Get PDFLos datos de ensayos clínicos abiertos proporcionan una valiosa oportunidad para que los investigadores de todo el mundo evalúen nuevas hipótesis, validen los resultados publicados y colaboren para obtener avances científicos en la investigación médica. Aquí se presenta un conjunto de datos de salud para la predicción no invasiva de accidentes cerebrovasculares, que contiene datos de 219 sujetos. El conjunto de datos cubre un rango de edad de 20-89 años y registros de enfermedades incluyendo hipertensión y diabetes. La adquisición de datos se llevó a cabo bajo el control de las condiciones y especificaciones experimentales estándar. La variable de respuesta utilizada es si se produjo o no el accidente cerebrovascular, sea este no hemorrágico o hemorrágico. Los predictores utilizados fueron la edad, el índice de masa corporal, el nivel de azúcar en la sangre, la presión arterial sistólica y diastólica, la frecuencia cardíaca y el género. Mediante el uso de la regresión logística, se obtuvo una buena precisión de modelado, donde los predictores que tienen un efecto significativo (alfa <0,05) son la edad, el índice de masa corporal, la presión arterial diastólica y el tipo de diabetes
Comparison of efficiency, security and stability between RouterOS from MikroTik and Cisco IOS, in network engineering environments
Get PDFThe comparative study between Cisco and MikroTik devices for internet service providers (ISPs) in Ecuador sought to evaluate the efficiency, security and stability of MikroTik\u27s RouterOS and Cisco IOS operating systems in network environments. A methodology combining theoretical and exploratory analysis was employed, using data from the ISP company "JEAPC". Aspects such as geography, static and dynamic routing, IP address translation, Google Cache network segregation and bandwidth limitation were evaluated. JEAPC" was found to have a robust data transfer capacity, serving 2800 customers, mainly in the Triunfo-Troncal region. Significant differences were identified between Cisco and MikroTik devices. For example, the Cisco ASR920 showed routing versatility, but lacked IP address translation and bandwidth limitation features for individual clients. In contrast, the MikroTik CCR2004-16G stood out for its routing stability, IP address translation capability and bandwidth limitation at the client level, being scalable and efficient for medium-sized environments. The findings highlighted the importance of considering current needs and future scalability when choosing between MikroTik and Cisco devices. MikroTik was identified as an efficient solution, especially beneficial for businesses with tight budgets and moderate growth, while Cisco was positioned as a solid choice for businesses with ambitions for expansion. The right choice will depend on the long-term strategy of each ISP in Ecuado
The impact on family and society of the use of and adherence to pharmacological treatment in patients with chronic illnesses

Therefore, the study focuses on identifying and addressing the patient\u27s beliefs and perceptions about medications and the underlying disease. Mixed research was used with a survey developed in Google Forms, along with analysis of results, to achieve a comprehensive understanding.The sample consisted of patients with chronic diseases aged 35 to 80 years. The results revealed that 88.3% of respondents recognized the importance of taking their medications as prescribed, highlighting a widespread understanding of treatment adherence. In summary, this study has been instrumental in understanding patients\u27 perceptions of medications in chronic diseases
Impact of Marjory Gordon\u27s model on nursing care of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis: A cross-sectional study
Get PDFThis article focuses on how the Marjory Gordon model improves nursing care in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. The study, conducted over 5 months at Mount Sinai Hospital, explores the efficacy of this model in identifying and treating prevalent health problems in this patient group. The Marjory Gordon model, known for its holistic and systematic approach to nursing care, was implemented to assess dysfunctional patterns in patients with chronic renal failure. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional research design was used, applying surveys to a sample of 67 patients, ranging in age from 30 to 75 years, both outpatients and inpatients. The results revealed significant improvements in several aspects of patient care, including nutrition, metabolism, elimination, activity, exercise, sleep, rest, and stress management. These findings underscore the importance of adopting a structured, patient-centered approach to nursing care, especially in complex clinical settings such as hemodialysis. The study concludes the need to integrate and socialize care plans based on this model among nursing staff, which could significantly improve the quality of care provided. In addition, it is recommended that nursing staff reinforce and formally adopt these care plans, ensuring more effective and patient-centered care

Design of an Assisted Photovoltaic Solar Energy System for Block 5
Get PDFThis study focuses on the design of a photovoltaic system to supply electricity to the building "Block 5" of the FACI - UTLVTE. This design considers obtaining energy through two sources which are photovoltaic modules and the local power grid. Therefore, the designed photovoltaic system is conceived as an assisted solar photovoltaic installation. In the present research, calculations and simulations are carried out based on an analysis of the load demand and meteorological data obtained with PVsyst software. The results obtained indicate that the designed photovoltaic system can support a percentage of the demand of the lighting circuits, general outlets and special loads of Block 5, which corresponds to a decrease in the costs associated with the consumption of electricity from the local power grid. These results demonstrate that the sizing achieved by this photovoltaic system is optimal, which is validated by means of the PVsyst software

Get PDFThis research report addresses Human Resources management and its impact on work performance at the FERROMAX company in the Quevedo canton during the year 2023. The problem was identified, research objectives were established, and a theoretical framework was developed with relevant sources. The hypothesis formulated holds that adequate human resources management will improve work performance in the FERROMAX company in 2023. The main purpose is, after analyzing the results, to implement training workshops on Human Resources Management and Customer Service. These workshops seek to increase the profitability of the company through the proper knowledge of customer service on the part of the employees. The methodology included the collection and processing of information through surveys to employees and the owner of the company FERROMAX. The resulting conclusions and recommendations led to the formulation of a proposal aimed at improving the work performance of employees at FERROMAX. The ultimate goal is to optimize the company\u27s efficiency and profitability through targeted training in key areas.Este informe de investigación aborda la gestión de Recursos Humanos y su impacto en el rendimiento laboral en la empresa FERROMAX en el cantón Quevedo durante el año 2023. Se identificó el problema, se establecieron objetivos de investigación y se desarrolló un marco teórico con fuentes pertinentes. La hipótesis formulada sostiene que una gestión adecuada de recursos humanos mejorará el rendimiento laboral en la empresa FERROMAX en 2023. El propósito fundamental es, tras analizar los resultados, sugerir la implementar talleres de capacitación sobre Gestión de Recursos Humanos y Atención al Cliente. Estos talleres buscan aumentar la rentabilidad de la empresa a través del conocimiento adecuado en atención al cliente por parte de los empleados. La metodología incluyó la recopilación y procesamiento de información mediante encuestas a empleados y al propietario de la empresa FERROMAX.
