Influence Of Emotional Intelligence And Leadership Behavior In The Construction Industry.
This thesis explores the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI), work engagement, and project success among mid-level management in the construction industry. Multiple sources, including journals and research papers, were examined to establish the importance of EI and its impact on work engagement. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of EI and its influence on the work engagement of mid-level employees. The findings highlight the correlation between EI and work engagement, quantifying the threshold of EI required for optimal contribution to organizational success. The research questions address the relationship between EI and work engagement in the construction industry, as well as the availability of measurement scales and existing research on EI among mid-level management. The theoretical framework draws upon previous studies to analyze the impact of EI and work engagement on sub-project success. The study utilizes tools to measure EI and work engagement and incorporates qualitative analysis of past project success to evaluate the significance of EI. Recommendations for evaluating project success based on EI and work engagement levels among mid-level employees are provided, offering insights and best practices derived from the literature review and data analysis

Dietary Supplement Used Among Americans
This project is to show the intake of vitamins before and after the pandemic among Americans. To get this information, I made a survey with a sample size of 100 people, and the questions that were asked were; What is your gender? Do you take vitamins? How often do you take vitamins? Types of vitamins? Age group? and Did your use of vitamins grow due to the pandemic?. (Class Project
Access to Telepharmacy Services May Reduce Hospital Admissions in Outpatient Populations During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Introduction: Avoidable hospital admissions put increased pressure on already strained health care resources, causing emotional and financial distress for patients and their families while taxing the health system. Pharmacist involvement in patient care has been shown to improve health care outcomes. Telepharmacy allows for personalized interaction and access to pharmacy services in a flexible format. The primary aim of this report is to explore the impact that access to a personalized telepharmacy service has on the hospital admission rate in an outpatient population before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Materials and Methods: A retrospective, double-arm cohort study was performed. Hospital admission rates were analyzed in two similarly aged groups; one group (n = 2,242) had access to telepharmacy services through their primary care provider and another group did not (n = 1,540), from 2019 to 2020. Statistical analysis was performed to explore hospitalization rates in both groups.
Results: An increase in hospitalization rates was observed in both groups of patients from 2019 to 2020. The patient group that had access to the telepharmacy service demonstrated a reduced rise in hospitalization rates versus the group without access to the telepharmacy service (access group +12.9% vs. nonaccess group +40.2%, p \u3c 0.05, Student\u27s t-test).
Discussion: The patient group with access to telepharmacy services demonstrated a reduced increase in hospitalizations versus the group without access in 2020. While this represents a preliminary investigation into the potential impacts of telepharmacy on hospitalization rates, telepharmacy services may have a role in improving patient outcomes and cost savings
The Utilization of NMR Spectroscopy to Study Glucose Muta-Rotation Kinetics
Proton NMR spectroscopy is used to differentiate between the two isomeric forms of glucose. The kinetics and rate constant associated with the interconversion of one isomeric form to the other was monitored via changes in peak area over time. A rate constant was measured and found to be in very good agreement with literature value reported. (Class Project
