Adopting Effective Strategies Of Agile Project Management In Hotel Rebranding Projects

This thesis examines the application of Agile Project Management (APM) in hotel rebranding projects, emphasizing its impact on project flexibility, cross-departmental collaboration, and customer satisfaction. Using qualitative methods, the study highlights how APM practices, such as iterative cycles and continuous feedback loops, enhance adaptability, foster teamwork, and align outcomes with market demands. Findings reveal that while APM improves responsiveness and customer engagement, challenges like increased communication costs require careful management. The study offers practical insights for integrating APM into rebranding strategies to boost competitiveness and customer loyalty in the hospitality industry

Decoding the Future: Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Web Development

The thesis explores AI\u27s profound impact on web development, particularly in front-end and back-end processes. AI revolutionizes UI prototyping by automating design creation, enhancing both efficiency and aesthetics. It also aids in code review, content generation, and process flow experimentation, streamlining development workflows. Through AI-driven tools like GitHub\u27s Copilot and Wix ADI, developers benefit from coding assistance and innovative design capabilities. Despite some challenges, AI\u27s evolving role promises to reshape web development, offering unprecedented efficiency and user-centric solutions

2018 2nd Place: Budget Disparity in Education

The social issue this project deals with is the budget disparity in America\u27s public schools. This problem is important to investigate because today\u27s children are tomorrow\u27s leaders and if they are not being educated properly, then how do we as a society expect them to lead us in the future

2018 3rd Place: The Growth and Characterization of Psychromonas aquimarina, a New Model Organism for Climate Change

Climate change is currently affecting the Earth and will only increase with time1. A change to the environment means that wildlife will need to adapt. Adaptation occurs when an organism changes physiologically or otherwise to permit continued growth in the environment in which it resides. Scientists do not completely understand adaptation mechanisms. Psychromonas aquimarinais a novel bacterium, with little known. This bacteria will first be characterized and studied before conducting temperature studies. Psychromonas aquimarina is a psychrophile, a bacterium able to survive in colder regions where most bacteria would not. P. aquimarinais an ideal bacterium to study because climate change is affecting the poles two times the rate that it is affecting elsewhere 1. This means colder regions are experiencing harsher effects. The study of adaptation in cold tolerant organisms can give better insight to the mechanisms of thermotolerance. Hypothesis: Psychromonas aquimarinawill be able to adapt to an increase in temperature due to heat shock proteins

Central Tracking and Billing System for Insurance Bills

In this article, we introduce a new centralized billing platform designed for insurance bills including auto insurance, health insurance, home insurance, life insurance, etc. This system consolidates all bills for individual users eliminating the need for them to manage and pay bills separately. Users stand to benefit from significant time and effort savings each month, reducing the likelihood of missed payments and associated late fees. Insurance billing organizations and banks can also capitalize on timely payments and reduced physical mailings, leading to cost savings and environmental benefits. The proposed system offers users the ability to track and review their historical payments online from any location (Huang, 2014)

The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Project Success Rate in Japan

Despite abundant research on the relationship between emotional intelligence and project success in various industries and countries, few papers specifically focus on Japan. However, Japan’s highly hierarchical corporate structure, combined with its high-context culture, makes emotional intelligence an even more essential trait, implying a significant gap in the existing literature that could contribute to the success of Japanese project teams. This thesis intends to fill this gap by focusing on Japanese and non-Japanese professionals working in Japanese companies in Japan and determining whether there is a positive correlation between EQ levels of employees and project success rate. For this research, the two variables – emotional intelligence and project success – were compiled utilizing online surveys. More specifically, the WLEIS (Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale) test was utilized to measure the participants\u27 EQ levels, while a survey created by the researcher based on pre-existing surveys was employed to assess project success levels. The results of the regression analysis indicated there is a positive correlation between the two variables. These findings could change the current notion of Japanese firms/executives and garner more focus on EQ. Additionally, the findings suggest that existing training/orientation programs could be improved to incorporate more EQ training, which could also further the success of Japanese teams and firms. Further, the research findings can bring more discussion surrounding the effects culture has on the significance of emotional intelligence. Information regarding the existing research besides how this thesis’ research was conducted is highlighted in this document
