Get PDFThe monastery of San Clemente of Seville treasures a rich diplomatic and documentary heritage that has been the subject of a detailed study and cataloging. However, until now, everything related to the music preserved in it had not known the same fate, being simply stacked without any kind of order. However, through this article we want to present part of an approach and research work on this legacy, as well as an approach to religious music gender and its functionality within the theatricality of the counter-reformist liturgy. Get PDFThe analysis of the Cuban musical avant-garde of the 1960s is still an incomplete task of Musicology. The main objective of this research is to carry out a comprehensive analysis (space, time, instrumentation, dynamics, dramaturgy) of the mobile work II by the Cuban composer Harold Gramatges (Santiago de Cuba, 1918 - Havana, 2008), through the score and its sound record. This piece is the second in his series Mobiles (1969-80), and to study it, graphics were created that visualize the expressive means and techniques used by the composer, and helped to holistically assess the multiple elements that make up the musical discourse. In addition, the work proposes this musicographic method as one more methodological tool for musical analysis and contributes to a greater visualization of the Cuban composer\u27s work. The graphics designed for the present investigation were not influenced by the visuality of the composer\u27s scores, or his comments during the interviews.La presente investigación se propone analizar el Móvil II del compositor cubano Harold Gramatges (Santiago de Cuba, 1918 - La Habana, 2008). Esta obra es la segunda de su serie Móviles (1969-80), y para alcanzar estudiarla me auxilié de gráficos que ayudaron a valorar los múltiples elementos que conforman el discurso musical. Se propone además esta metodología para el análisis musical de otras obras pertenecientes o no a las vanguardias histórico-musicales.

Get PDFIn modern poetic theories, it is common to consider opera as an irrational, unrealistic genre. This is mainly due to its musical component, which is often opposed to the rationality of word and drama. However, there are many operas in which it is precisely music that gives verisimilitude to the plot. A radical case is Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto, an opera where the idea of evil is treated in an original way. In this article, we will try to show that it is above all from music that Verdi manages to tackle this idea, giving rise to a true philosophy of evil that is not understood as something irrational, but as something rational that is not as far from good as we usually think.En las poéticas modernas, ha sido común considerar la ópera como un género irracional, inverosímil. Esto suele achacarse a su componente musical, que se contrapone a menudo a la racionalidad de la palabra y el drama. Sin embargo, hay muchas óperas donde es precisamente la música la que otorga verosimilitud a la trama. Un caso paradigmático es Rigoletto de Giuseppe Verdi, una ópera donde se trata de un modo insólito la idea del mal. En este artículo, intentaremos mostrar que es sobre todo a partir de la música como Verdi aborda esta idea, dando lugar a una verdadera filosofía del mal, que no se entiende como algo puramente negativo, sino como algo racional y más cercano al bien de lo que solemos pensar

Bibliotecas universitarias y ODS: Pensar en los humanos, no en los usuarios
Get PDFREBIUN\u27s new strategic plan includes the goal of encouraging the contribution of university libraries to the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda, as it considers that it has a strategic scope due to improving the organisational legitimacy of libraries by connecting them more closely to the reality of sustainable development. Nevertheless, it is difficult to notice the presence of university libraries in the goals and targets of the agenda. This has led REBIUN to identify seven targets, corresponding to five SDGs, on which the contribution of university libraries could be oriented. These seven targets point to the desirability of focusing this contribution on four areas of library activity: training and literacy activities, the procurement of goods and services, the bibliographic heritage management, and the promotion of open access. In addition, there is a clear need to develop indicators to measure this contribution. El nuevo plan estratégico de REBIUN contempla la meta de impulsar la contribución de las bibliotecas universitarias a los ODS de la Agenda 2030 porque considera que reviste un alcance estratégico al mejorar la legitimidad organizativa de las bibliotecas conectándolas más estrechamente con la realidad del desarrollo sostenible. Sin embargo, la presencia de las bibliotecas universitarias en los objetivos y metas de la agenda resulta difícil de advertir. Esto ha llevado a REBIUN a identificar siete metas, correspondientes a cinco ODS, sobre las que podría orientarse la contribución de las bibliotecas universitarias. Estas siete metas apuntan a la conveniencia de centrar esa contribución en cuatro ámbitos de la actividad bibliotecaria: las actividades formativas y alfabetizadoras, la contratación de bienes y servicios, la gestión del patrimonio bibliográfico y la promoción del acceso abierto. A ello se suma la necesidad de elaborar unos indicadores que permitan medir dicha contribución.
