Leadership Style on Organizational Culture and Good Corporate Governance
This study aims to determine the mediating effect of organizational culture variables between leadership style and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the Village Credit Institution (LPD) in Gianyar Regency. The sample used was 73 LPD of Gianyar Regency. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The analysis shows that organizational culture provides a partial mediation effect on relationship between charismatic leadership styles and GCG, while in the relationship between transformational leadership styles and GCG, organizational culture provide full mediation. The implication of this research is that a good organizational culture of the institution will improve GCG in the institution
The Effect of School Principal’s Servant Leadership of Vocational Schools in Temanggung Regency
This research aims to examine the effect off school principal's servant leadership, discipline, work motivation, and teacher’s commitment on the performance of vocational school teachers in Temanggung Regency. The findings show that (1) servant leadership has no significant positive effect on performance; (2) servant leadership has a significant positive effect on discipline by 25%, 18% on work motivation, and 20% on commitment; (3) discipline, work motivation, and commitment significantly have positive effect on performance by 71%; and (4) servant leadership has a significant positive effect on performance through discipline, work motivation, and commitment. Significant performance improvement is not influenced by servant leadership. However, servant leadership has a significant positive effect through mediation of discipline, work motivation, and commitment
Analysis of Profit Growth of Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2013-2017 Period
This study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Leverage, Activity, and Profitability Levels on profit growth in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. This research applied causal associative research (causal research). The data used are manufacturing company financial statements from the Indonesia Stock Exchange publications on www.idx.co.id. The data are analysed by conducting quantitative analysis figured with numbers. The results showed that the level of Liquidity measured by a quick ratio (QR) of 0.151, with an error probability of 0.015 implied a positive and significant effect on profit growth. The level of Leverage as measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) of -1.029, with an error probability of 0.005, indicated a negative and significant effect on profit growth. The level of Activity measured by Inventory Turnover (ITO) of 0.288, with error probability of 0.113, suggested a positive and insignificant effect on profit growth. The level of Profitability as measured by Return on Equity (ROE) of 0.569, with error probability of 0.033, implied a positive and significant effect on profit growth, levels of liquidity, leverage, activity, profitability. In addition, as measured by a simultan test (F) of 0.451, with error probability of 0.002, the level of Liquidity, Leverage, Activity, Profitability simultaneously show a significant effect on profit growth

This research aims to describe the meaning of accounting on Chinese businessperson perspective. It was conducted at Chinese beekeeping in Malang Regency. Observations, interviews, and documentations were used as data collection technique on this study. This study is qualitative research with phenomenology approach focusing on thought, individual and society as the object of analysis. It was interesting to determine how Chinese entrepreneurs perceive accounting since many entrepreneurs believe Chinese entrepreneurs can be relied on. Lifestyle and Consumers’ Choice of Laundry Services in Manado City: An Empirical Study
Lifestyle, including activities, interests, and opinions, influences consumer shopping behaviour and decisions in laundry businesses. It relates to individual’s way of life, use of money and time, expressed in activities, interests, and opinions. Therefore, those partaking in this business need to understand their consumers’ lifestyle, for complete information on what products to offer, innovate, and promote. This study was conducted in Malalayang, Paal 2, Boulevard, and the areas surrounding Sam Ratulangi Airport, the central areas of modern laundry businesses in Manado. The findings suggest that lifestyle simultaneously conferred a positive and significant effect on consumer’s laundry service preference. Therefore, every related dimension, including activities, interests, and opinions, also significantly affects the parameter under investigation
Strengthening Human Capital through Social Capital (A Study on Kacang Tore Small Enterprise)
The objective of this study deals with revealing the component(s) of human capital which functions to establish social capital in the Kacang Tore small enterprises. This study involves peanut farmers and Kacang Tore business owner who are regarded as business doers of small enterprises. The research constitutes a qualitative study by applying triangulation technique of collecting data namely observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis of data follows Spradley’s Developmental Research Sequence. The findings point out that human capital defined as the economic value of human resources relating to ability, knowledge, ideas, innovation, energy, and commitment constitutes the power to establish a strong social capital. Human capital in the small enterprise can be identified in several forms namely 1) individual competence, 2) High work motivation, 3) value system of the work environment, 4) teamwork and 5) leadership in running the small enterprise. These components contribute to build and strengthen the required social capital in the small enterprise such as 1) strong relative network, 2) mutual trust and collaboration, 3) obedience to the norm, 4) mutual exchange of kindness, and 5) meaningful life value. Social capital derived from strong human capital constitutes powerful energy for the survival of the small enterprise amidst the tight competition in the era of industrial revolution 4.0
How Organizational Management Affect Employees’ Motivation and Service Quality: A Study of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)
This study aims to determine how organizational management affects organization’s employees, their motivation and service quality they deliver to the customers. This research was conducted on a world-famous Restaurant Chain - Kentucky Fried Chicken. KFC is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, the world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain. KFC has been serving Finger Lickin’ Good Chicken since 1930 and has settled itself in 118 countries all over the world with a total of 18,875 restaurants. KFC is recognized for its high customer satisfaction. It is proven that how management treats their workers can affect their worker’s motivation and company’s service quality. A positive attitude of management towards workers might result in higher motivation which contributes to greater performance along with high quality of service. The study comprises of both primary and secondary data to obtain the relevant information & findings
The Impact of Green Product Innovation, Green Perceived Quality to Purchase Intention Moderated by Lifestyle on Stainless Steel Straw
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of green product innovation, green perceived quality to purchase intention moderated by lifestyle on stainless steel straw. There is a direct influence of green product innovation, green perceived quality, and life style to purchase intention. Lifestyle does not moderate the relationship between green product innovation and purchase intention. However, lifestyle moderates the relationship between green perceived quality and purchase intention. Based on the results, restaurants and cafes should use stainless steel straws because the consumers have a lifestyle with the perception that eco-friendly products can reduce the impact of environmental pollution therefore, they intend to visit restaurants and cafes that use stainless steel straws
The Role of Marketing Capability, Operations Capability, Management Practices and Environmental Investment on Agro-Industrial Environmental Performance
This study aims to investigate the role of marketing capability, operations capability, management practices and environmental investment on the environmental performance of agro-industry companies. This research conducted a survey research on all employees of 120 agroindustry companies. The samples were selected with proportionate stratified random sampling based on management level of the companies. The data were compiled from questionnaires and field observations. After the validity and reliability test, a set of classical assumptions were undergone to determine the variable relations, along with the hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression, t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that marketing capability, operations capability, management practices, and environmental investments have effects on environmental performance
Analysis of the Application of Article 21 Income Tax Accounting to Civil Servants Salaries in Port Authority Class II Office of Bitung
This study aims to determine how the Application of Article 21 Income Tax Accounting to civil servant salaries in the Port Authority Office Class II of Bitung. This study used descriptive research method. The data sources were primary data and secondary data. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by collecting, deciphering, calculating, and comparing the existing data by means of an analysis to draw conclusions on Article 21 Income Tax (PPh) Calculation, Accounting Records for civil servants salaries, Article 21 Income Tax (PPh) Remittance, and Article 21 Income Tax (PPh) Statements at the Port Authority Office Class II of Bitung. The study findings indicate that the Article 21 Income Tax Calculation, Remittance and Statements in the Port Authority Office Class II of Bitung is non-compliant with the Calculation, Remittance and Statements of Article 21 Income Tax as stated by Law No. 36/2008
