    Sergeant Clifton E. Sloane of the Bangor Police Department examines a piece of paper for latent fingerprint impressions in the Identification Division of the FBI at Washington, D.C. The paper which Sergeant Sloane is holding has been treated in a solution of silver nitrate which brings out the prints under the intense light of carbon arc.     The train shed at Bangor with Number 54 of the Maine Central on the left and the Boston & Maine Number 163 on the right. Number 54 is the former Atlas, built by Portland Locomotive Works in June of 1872. A 0-4-0T switcher. It was rebuilt in June of 1884 and scrapped in 1901.
