No full textThis view of Union Station shows its relationship to the water and the commercial neighborhood in which it was located. The architect, Henry B. Fletcher of the Boston & Maine Railroad, designed a building that was 194 feet long and 82 feet 8 inches wide. The building was constructed of French buff brick with a brownstone base and trimmings. Of the five cars, one is white and has the words Accident Prevention - Investigation painted on its door, and four are black prowler cars. There is also a police emergency van.
