Meta-Synthesis: The Use of Augmented Reality Technology as A Mathematics Learning Media
This study aims to review, analyze and classify articles that contain literature related to the use of augmented reality technology as a mathematics learning medium. Using meta-synthesis methodology, this research systematically reviews and interprets findings from various articles related to the integration of AR in mathematics education. Through extensive searches in the Scopus and Sinta databases, 15 relevant articles were selected based on predetermined inclusion criteria, including year of publication (2018-2023), focus on mathematics learning in schools, and the presence of AR output images. Conducting a literature review with specific keywords ('Augmented Reality in mathematics learning'). The analysis reveals AR applications/modules, visualizations, and worksheets as prevalent AR outputs in math learning. In particular, Unity 3D and Vuforia excel among diverse development tools, showcasing flexibility. The discussion underscores AR's potential for intuitive math visualizations, enhancing learning experiences, and improving comprehension of complex concepts. The main characteristics of AR are virtual environments, real-time interactivity, and 3D representation, with an attractive design that makes a positive contribution to mathematics education
Evaluation of the CIPP Model for Integrated STEM Learning in STEM Institutions Based on the Mathematics Learning Processes and Outcomes
This research was carried out at a STEM institution with a focus on evaluating the implementation of STEM Integrated learning. The aim of this research is to evaluate using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model for STEM Integrated learning and assess students' learning achievements in the field of mathematics studies, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of the STEM Integrated learning process using the CIPP model in STEM institutions. The effectiveness of the learning process is assessed based on the level of achievement of learning objectives that have been set at the beginning of the learning period, namely in all aspects of STEM. This research adopts a qualitative approach using the CIPP model, which allows evaluation of aspects of context, input, process and product to achieve effective learning. Research participants involve students, STEM instructors. Primary data was collected through observation instruments, while secondary data was obtained from documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the application of Integrated STEM learning in STEM-EC UPI can be categorized as good in the input component but can be categorized as quite good in the context, process and product components. This is due to the less than optimal mathematical aspects in the STEM Integrated approach in terms of instructor qualifications and aspect assessment results. mathematics students
Problematika Keadilan dalam Praktik Poligami: Telaah Aksiologis atas Etika dan Estetika
ABSTRAK: Poligami merupakan praktik perkawinan yang memicu polemik dan perdebataan, terutama dalam hal keadilan gender dan etika keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara filosofis bagaimana konsep keadilan dalam poligami dapat dinilai melalui kerangka aksiologi, khususnya dari dimensi etika dan estetika. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan filosofis serta dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kualitatif untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam aspek hukum terdapat ketidak konsistenan antara Undang-Undang Perkawinan dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) dalam mengatur poligami, terutama terkait batas maksimal poligami, mekanisme persetujuan istri, dan pengawasan pemenuhan syarat keadilan. Dalam Hukum Islam keadilan poligami lebih menekankan aspek material (nafkah, pembagian waktu), tetapi kesulitan mengukur keadilan immateri (cinta, perhatian). Kemudian perspektif Aristoteles poligami sering bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan sebagai kemanfaatan bersama, karena cenderung merugikan perempuan dan menimbulkan ketidakseimbangan dalam rumah tangga. Berdasarkan tinjauan aksiologi dari segi teleologi, poligami hanya dapat dibenarkan jika menghasilkan kebahagiaan kolektif, bukan individual. Sedangkan deontologi memandang poligami harus tunduk pada prinsip moral absolut tentang keadilan dan kesetaraan gender. Dari segi pandangan estetika poligami seringkali menimbulkan ketegangan sosial dan emosional dalam rumah tangga, sehingga mengurangi kemungkinan terciptanya harmoni. KOMIK DAKWAH SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI ISU PALESTINA PADA AKUN INSTAGRAM @ANIMASITAARTS PRESPEKTIF EDUTAIMENT
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the most complex and protracted geopolitical issues in the world, marked by injustice, human rights violations, and a deep humanitarian crisis. Amid global efforts to find a peaceful solution, the dissemination of accurate information and education about the root causes and impacts of the conflict is crucial. This study examines the role of animation as a tool for social change, focusing on the Instagram account @animasitaarts, which actively promotes a movement for change through content about Palestine. It uses a constructivist paradigm and a transdisciplinary approach to communication, social, and religious studies. Qualitative research as a tool for social change, the potential for social mobilization, and the formation of collective action among @animasitaarts followers through Thomas Tuftte's edutainment theory from Jan Serveas' book (2008). The results of the study show that @animasitaarts' dakwah comics, with their attractive visuals and touching narratives, are effective in building positive reactions and audience awareness of the suffering in Palestine. Despite being limited to the Instagram platform, @animasitaarts has successfully become a prominent educational space within the da'wah community, encouraging digital solidarity actions such as praying and donating, and inspiring collective action as a form of concern for the Palestinian people. This indicates that animation, particularly through social media platforms such as Instagram, has great potential as an effective medium for da'wah and education on social and humanitarian issues, bridging the information gap and fostering collective awareness. Konflik Israel-Palestina merupakan salah satu isu geopolitik paling kompleks dan berkepanjangan di dunia, ditandai oleh ketidakadilan, pelanggaran hak asasi manusia, dan krisis kemanusiaan yang mendalam. Di tengah upaya global untuk mencari solusi damai, penyebaran informasi dan edukasi yang akurat mengenai akar masalah dan dampaknya menjadi krusialenelitian ini mengkaji peran animasi sebagai alat perubahan sosial, dengan fokus pada akun Instagram @animasitaarts yang secara aktif mendorong gerakan perubahan melalui konten dakwah tentang Palestina. Dengan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dan pendekatan transdisiplin ilmu komunikasi, sosial dan dakwah. Penelitian kualitatif sebagai alat perubahan sosial, potensi mobilisasi sosial, dan pembentukan aksi kolektif di kalangan pengikut @animasitaarts melalui teori edutaiment Thomas Tuftte dari buku Jan Serveas (2008). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik dakwah @animasitaarts, dengan visualisasi menarik dan narasi yang menyentuh, efektif membangun reaksi positif dan kesadaran audiens terhadap penderitaan di Palestina. Meskipun terbatas pada platform Instagram, @animasitaarts berhasil menjadi ruang edukasi yang menonjol di kalangan komunitas dakwah, mendorong aksi solidaritas digital seperti berdoa dan berdonasi, serta menginspirasi aksi kolektif sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadap rakyat Palestina. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa animasi, khususnya melalui platform media sosial seperti Instagram, memiliki potensi besar sebagai medium dakwah dan edukasi yang efektif untuk isu-isu sosial dan kemanusiaan, menjembatani kesenjangan informasi dan mendorong kesadaran kolektif
The "Temporary Concentration" Model: A Breakthrough in Curriculum Design for Integrating Dual-Competencies in Indonesian Islamic Universities' Arabic Language and Literature Program
Purpose: This study investigates the "Temporary Concentration" model, an innovative curriculum design implemented in the Arabic Language and Literature (BSA) program at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia. It aims to deconstruct how this model facilitates the integration of dual linguistic and literary competencies within the rigid structural constraints of the national higher education system, specifically the credit limit (144-160 SKS) mandated by national policy. Methods: Employing a qualitative, instrumental single-case study design underpinned by a constructivist paradigm, this research collected data through in-depth analysis of curriculum documents, semi-structured interviews, and focus group discussions with key stakeholders, including curriculum designers, lecturers, and students. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006) to identify emergent themes regarding the model's design, implementation, and perceived efficacy. Findings: The analysis reveals that the model strategically allocates 44 SKS (29.5% of the total 149 SKS curriculum) to an intensive, two-semester concentration in either Linguistics or Literature. This structured immersion phase ensures deep disciplinary mastery, successfully allocating 33% and 37.2% of the total curriculum to linguistics and literature, respectively—a significant increase compared to conventional BSA programs. The model effectively resolves the epistemological tension between depth and breadth by providing a clear roadmap for specialization before integration, addressing a key concern in curriculum literature. Research Implications: The study offers a viable prototype for curriculum reform in similar contexts, demonstrating that strategic reconfiguration, rather than credit expansion, can overcome policy-practice misalignments. It provides practical guidance for program managers and contributes to theoretical discourse by introducing a novel "temporary concentration" framework for dual-competency integration in constrained educational environments
Rancang Bangun Software Universal Astrolabe Berbasis Javascript dan Uji Akurasinya dalam Hisab Arah Kiblat
The astrolabe, as a classical astronomical instrument, holds significant historical and educational value, yet its use has become limited due to technological advancements. This study aims to develop a JavaScript-based Universal Astrolabe software to digitize the functions of a physical astrolabe, with a focus on testing the accuracy of Qibla direction calculations. The Research and Development (R&D) method was implemented through stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and accuracy testing. Test results from three locations (Cirebon, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul) showed minor discrepancies (0°1'56"–0°4'20") between the software's calculations and those derived from the spherical triangle formula using a calculator. These differences were attributed to the smallest rotation angle rounding of the Rete (0°15') and the 1° interval scale for altitude and azimuth. The software offers advantages in flexibility, automated Rete positioning, and ease of presentation compared to physical astrolabes, though it does not replace the function of direct observation. The interactive simulation of the Universal Astrolabe software facilitates its use for educational purposes in Islamic astronomy (Ilmu Falak)

Disamping itu, pengerjaan dari penelitian ini bertujuan selain menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu dan untuk mencari solusi penyelesaian dari sistem persamaan linear bilangan kompleks menggunakan Dekomposisi LU juga dapat membantu peneliti berikutnya dalam memecahkan masalah yang mempunyai kemiripan topik. Metode yang akan diterapkan berupa studi literatur dengan maksud untuk memperkuat dalam kajian pembahasan nantinya. Selain itu bahasan kajian yang diambil hanya akan berpusat pada spl bilangan kompleks. Serta dengan adanya kajian ini diharapkan bisa bermanfaat baik itu menambahnya wawasan ataupun bertambahnya peneliti baru yang lebih kreatif mengenai pembahasan spl menggunakan metode lain terutama di bilangan kompleks
Exploring Grade VIII Students' Procedural Skills in Solving Pythagorean Problems
This study explores the procedural skills of grade VIII students in solving Pythagorean Theorem problems, focusing on the diversity of problem-solving steps and error patterns that emerge. A descriptive qualitative method was used in this study, with three students selected as subjects based on high, medium, and low levels of mathematical ability. Data were collected through problem-solving tasks and semi-structured interviews to comprehensively understand the students' approaches and strategies. The results showed that students with high procedural skills implemented problem-solving steps in a structured manner, while those with moderate skills often needed to be more consistent in recording critical steps. Students with low skills tended to bypass procedural structures and proceed directly to solutions, leading to a higher rate of errors. Error patterns varied by students' mathematical ability levels: high-ability students made no errors, medium-ability students exhibited errors in illustrations and procedural consistency, and low-ability students struggled with writing expressions and fully implementing steps. These findings emphasize the need for instructional approaches tailored to students' skill levels, such as structured learning and scaffolding, to strengthen procedural skills. A follow-up study with a broader sample is recommended to validate these findings and assess the effectiveness of instructional strategies for enhancing students' procedural skills across various mathematical topics
Rasch Model Analysis: Validity and Reliability of Context-Based Geometry Performance Assessment Instruments Jakarta Cultural Heritage
The objective of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of performance evaluation rubrics when applied to Jakarta's cultural heritage structures, specifically focusing on the geometrical material. The Rasch Model, namely the Winstep version 3.73, will be utilized for analysis. The Rasch model offers benefits due to its ability to provide more precise estimations and identify flaws within the model. The rubric-based performance evaluation instrument is utilized to evaluate students' problem-solving abilities, with each problem being assigned a distinct rubric. A total of 381 students were sampled from two distinct schools located in North Jakarta and East Jakarta. The study's results indicate that the Cronbach's alpha value attained is 0.96, which is classified as excellent. The individual's dependability score is 0.91, which falls inside the excellent range. Similarly, the item's reliability score is 0.94, also classified as excellent. The item fit test conducted on the instrument indicates that there is no need to reject any items. The components in this performance evaluation instrument have strong validity and reliability, rendering it appropriate for evaluating student performanc
Pancasila-Based Children's Story App: Reading Material for Grade IV Elementary School Students
AbstractThis research aims to develop reading materials story child loaded profile student Pancasila based on mobile application which is a literacy media to help improve interest read students and complement the availability of resources reading which contains the values of the Pancasila lesson profile in story child on the dimension of independence, reasoning critical and creativity as supporters of the independent curriculum. The purpose of this study is to determine the development process and feasibility of products developed using the method study Design & Development. This research was conducted at State Elementary School (SDN) Bahagia 06 Bekasi City, West Java. The subjects of this research were expert material validators, media experts, practitioners and 26 fourth grade students. The research data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentation. The instruments used were validator questionnaires and student response questionnaires. as well as teacher response . The developed product was evaluated very well with a percentage of material experts of 96 % in the very feasible category , media experts 94% in the very feasible category, practitioner experts 95% in the very feasible category and student responses were very good. So, from the data obtained, materialreading story child loaded profile student Pancasila based on mobile applications on the dimensions of independence, reasoning critical thinking and creativity are very worthy of being used to help improve interest read students and complement the availability of resources readingwhich contains the values of the Pancasila lesson profile as Supporter curriculum independent.Keywords: materials reading, children's stories, mobile applications.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan bacaan cerita anak bermuatan profil pelajar Pancasila berbasis aplikasi mobile sebagai media literasi untuk membantu meningkatkan minat baca siswa dan melengkapi ketersediaan sumber bacaan yang mengandung nilai-nilai profil pelajar Pancasila dalam cerita anak pada dimensi kemandirian, penalaran kritis, dan kreativitas sebagai pendukung kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan menggunakan metode penelitian Design & Development. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Bahagia 06 Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah validator ahli materi, ahli media, praktisi, dan 26 siswa kelas empat. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner validator serta kuesioner tanggapan siswa dan guru. Produk yang dikembangkan dievaluasi dengan sangat baik dengan persentase ahli materi sebesar 96% dalam kategori sangat layak, ahli media 94% dalam kategori sangat layak, ahli praktisi 95% dalam kategori sangat layak, dan tanggapan siswa sangat baik. Jadi, dari data yang diperoleh, bahan bacaan cerita anak bermuatan profil pelajar Pancasila berbasis aplikasi mobile pada dimensi kemandirian, penalaran kritis, dan kreativitas sangat layak digunakan untuk membantu meningkatkan minat baca siswa dan melengkapi ketersediaan sumber bacaan yang mengandung nilai-nilai profil pelajar Pancasila sebagai pendukung kurikulum merdeka.Kata kunci: bahan bacaan, cerita anak, aplikasi mobile
