    The Effectiveness of Mind Mapping Method to Improve Understanding of Arabic Vocabulary

    Research is a study of the elements that form poetry. In analyzing poetry, attention is usually paid to the relationship between lyrics in verses, the relationship between verses, intrinsic elements in verses, and the message conveyed by a poet, and includes the style of language used and the meaning contained in a poem. This study aims to analyze the aspects of lexical semantics and grammatical semantics in the poem by Imam Asy-Syafi'i entitled "Da'il Ayya>ma Taf'alu Ma> Tasya>‘u. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive research with a literature study approach to the analysis of lexical semantics in the meaning of individual words and grammatical semantics in the meaning of word structures. The results of the study indicate that this poem contains lexical meaning and grammatical meaning in strengthening the moral and spiritual messages of the contents of the poem. In terms of morals and ethics, this poem emphasizes noble values such as generosity and loyalty, which are the foundation of harmonious social relations and reflect strong faith, while in a spiritual context, this poem reminds us that everything in this world is ephemeral. Nouns such as "الأيام" (days), "حوادث الدنيا" (world events), and "المنايا" (death) emphasizes that worldly life is a journey full of trials and ends in certain death.     Development of the Value Inquiry Learning Model to Improve Conceptual Understanding and Social Attitudes in Thematic Learning

    AbstractSchool learning is seen as emphasizing the achievement of cognitive aspects, while affective aspects tend to be neglected. Thus causing imbalances in the formation of students' overall competence. To answer these challenges, a Value Inquiry learning model was developed that can balance cognitive and affective aspects integrated in thematic learning. This research used a modified Research & Development approach through three stages of implementation: preliminary study, model development, and model validation test. This research involved five elementary schools in Garut Regency. The instruments used included expert validation questionnaires, observation sheets, attitude questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The limited and broad trials showed a significant increase in both concept understanding and students' social attitudes, it was shown by the results of the N-Gain analysis with an increase of 29.48% in the limited experimental class test with a low interpretation, 69.06% in the broad test phase I, 69.98% in phase II, and 70.10% in the validation test with a moderate interpretation. The effectiveness test results with a value of 0.701 which indicates that the Value Inquiry learning model is quite effective in improving students' concept understanding and social attitudes. Thus, this model is very relevant and practical to be applied.Keywords: learning models, value inquiry, social attitudes, characteristics of elementary school students.AbstrakPembelajaan di sekolah dipandang lebih menekankan pada pencapaian aspek kognitif, sementara aspek afektif cenderung terabaikan. Sehingga menyebabkan ketimpangan dalam pembentukan kompetensi utuh siswa. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut dikembangkan model pembelajaran Value Inquiry yang dapat menyeimbangkan aspek kognitif dan aektif yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research & Development yang dimodifikasi melalui tiga tahap pelaksanaan: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji validasi model. Penelitian ini melibatkan lima sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Garut. Instrumen yang digunakan melipui angket validasi ahli, lembar observasi, angket sikap, dan tes hasil belajar. Pada uji coba terbatas dan luas menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan baik dalam pemahaman konsep maupun sikap sosial siswa, hal itu ditunjukkan oleh hasil analisis N-Gain dengan peningkatan sebesar 29,48% pada uji kelas eksperimen terbatas dengan interpretasi rendah, 69,06% pada uji luas tahap I, 69,98% pada tahap II, dan 70,10% pada uji validasi dengan interpretasi sedang. Hasil uji efektivitas dengan nilai 0,701 yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Value Inquiry  cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap sosial pesrta didik.     The Effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning Assisted by Powtoon Media on the Activeness and Learning Outcomes of Pancasila Education in 4th-Grade Elementary School Students

    Abstract Low learning outcomes and student engagement result from ineffective learning models and media in actively involving students. This study analyzes the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model combined with Powtoon media in enhancing student participation and learning outcomes. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design was used, involving 4th-grade elementary students divided into an experimental class (IV A, 33 students) and a control class (IV B, 30 students) using a conventional model. Engagement data were collected through observation, and learning outcomes were assessed via evaluation tests. Data analysis used SPSS 26 with normality, homogeneity, t-test, N-Gain, and engagement score tests. The results showed a significant t-test value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in engagement and learning outcomes between the two groups. The N-Gain percentage was 61% (moderately effective) in the experimental class and 43% (less effective) in the control class. The highest engagement category in the experimental class was visual activities (87.87%), while in the control class, it was mental activities. These findings demonstrate that the PBL model combined with Powtoon media effectively enhances student engagement and learning outcomes.Keywords: problem-based learning, Powtoon media, activeness, and learning outcomes.AbstrakRendahnya capaian pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa disebabkan oleh model dan media pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dalam melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan media Powtoon dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan capaian pembelajaran siswa. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen digunakan, melibatkan siswa SD kelas 4 yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (IV A, 33 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (IV B, 30 siswa) dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Data keterlibatan dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan capaian pembelajaran dinilai melalui tes evaluasi. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 26 dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t, N-Gain, dan skor keterlibatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji-t signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam keterlibatan dan capaian pembelajaran antara kedua kelompok. Persentase N-Gain sebesar 61% (cukup efektif) pada kelas eksperimen dan 43% (kurang efektif) pada kelas kontrol. Kategori keterlibatan tertinggi pada kelas eksperimen adalah aktivitas visual (87,87%), sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah aktivitas mental. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL yang dikombinasikan dengan media Powtoon efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, media Powtoon, keaktifan, dan hasil belajar

    Bridging Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Technology Acceptance Among Elementary School Teachers: Evidence from a Structural Equation Model

    AbstractThis study investigates the correlation between artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and acceptance among Indonesian elementary school teachers using a structural equation model. A cross-sectional survey of 409 teachers indicated elevated AI acceptance and literacy levels. AI literacy strongly predicted acceptance and vice versa, suggesting a bidirectional relationship between these two variables. Demographic factors exerted minimal influence, whereas the frequency of AI use showed a moderate correlation between the two constructs. The structural equation model revealed that social influence, facilitating conditions, and the progressive development of AI competencies significantly influenced teachers' behavioral intentions and ethical awareness. These findings underscore the necessity of comprehensive, experiential professional development programs that promote deep, reflective, and ethical engagement with AI technologies. This study advocates for a systemic, culturally responsive approach to AI integration in elementary education, aligning training, infrastructure, collaborative culture, and personalized support to prepare teachers for effective and responsible AI utilization.Keywords: artificial intelligence, AI literacy, UTAUT, teacher acceptance, elementary education. AbstrakPenelitian ini menyelidiki korelasi antara literasi dan penerimaan kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence/AI) di kalangan guru sekolah dasar di Indonesia dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural. Sebuah survei cross-sectional terhadap 409 guru mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan tingkat penerimaan dan literasi AI. Literasi AI secara kuat memprediksi penerimaan dan sebaliknya, menunjukkan adanya hubungan dua arah antara kedua variabel ini. Faktor demografis memberikan pengaruh yang minimal, sedangkan frekuensi penggunaan AI menunjukkan korelasi yang moderat antara kedua variabel tersebut. Model persamaan struktural mengungkapkan bahwa pengaruh sosial, kondisi yang memfasilitasi, dan perkembangan kompetensi AI secara signifikan mempengaruhi niat perilaku dan kesadaran etis guru. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi perlunya program pengembangan profesional yang komprehensif dan berbasis pengalaman yang mendorong keterlibatan yang mendalam, reflektif, dan etis dengan teknologi AI. Studi ini mengadvokasi pendekatan sistemik dan responsif secara budaya terhadap integrasi AI dalam pendidikan dasar, menyelaraskan pelatihan, infrastruktur, budaya kolaboratif, dan dukungan pribadi untuk mempersiapkan guru dalam pemanfaatan AI yang efektif dan bertanggung jawab.Kata kunci: kecerdasan buatan, literasi AI, UTAUT, penerimaan guru, pendidikan dasar

    Social Values in The Social Activities of Traditional Market Communities as a Source of Learning For Social Studies Subjects

    The background of this study is that the community environment has not been maximised as a learning resource for students. Concepts of subject matter and social values such as social interaction have not yet been linked to the community conditions surrounding students. The purpose of this study is to describe the social activities of the traditional market community, to identify the social values and activities of the traditional market community as a source of social studies learning. The research method used is qualitative, with data sources from sellers, buyers, and security personnel at the Tegal Gubuk market. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results show the presence of social values and material social values in buying and selling activities. Vital social values occur in meeting the needs of the market community related to facilities such as places of worship, toilets, parking areas, and market management spaces. Spiritual social values include four aspects: truthfulness, such as the prices given to buyers; beauty, such as market cleanliness; goodness, such as honesty in buying and selling; and religiosity, such as religious activities during prayer times. Social activities include cooperation, mutual assistance, buying and selling, and social interaction. The social values and social activities of the Tegal Gubuk market community can be correlated with teaching materials. Keywords: Social values, social activities, learning resources

    Analisis Model Problem Based Learning Pada Fiqih Puasa Untuk Menumbuhkan Empati Dan Kepedulian Sosial Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

    This study aims to analyse the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on Fiqh Fasting Ramadan material in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, and how the application can foster students' empathy and social care. The PBL model was chosen because it is believed to develop critical thinking skills, cooperation, and active involvement of students in solving problems that are contextual to everyday life. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a field research approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation at MI Al Mursyidiyyah Pamulang. The results showed that the application of PBL in Fiqh lessons, especially in fasting material, was effective in helping students understand the values of worship as well as bringing up empathetic attitudes towards others, such as sharing iftar food and helping friends in difficulty. Although there were some obstacles such as time constraints and different levels of student participation in discussions, overall PBL was able to improve students' understanding of the concept of fasting in an applicable manner and encourage the formation of social character. These findings reinforce the importance of innovating problem-based learning models in religious education to strengthen affective and spiritual values

    Relevansi Pemikiran Ibn Miskawaih mengenai Etika dalam Naskah Sunda Sanghyang Siksa Kandang Karesian

    Perdebatan mengenai hubungan antara budaya dan agama masih menjadi topik yang terus bergulir. Budaya kerap dipandang sebagai warisan lokal yang bersifat profan, sementara agama ditempatkan dalam posisi sakral dan mutlak. Pandangan dikotomik ini memicu ketegangan, terutama ketika praktik budaya dianggap bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai religius. Akibatnya, tidak jarang budaya lokal mengalami penolakan, pelarangan, bahkan penghapusan atas nama “pemurnian agama”. Ibn Miskawaih memberikan kerangka etika yang logis dan metodis untuk memahami pembentukan moralitas manusia. Di sisi lain, naskah Sunda kuno Sanghyang Siksa Kandang Karesian juga memuat ajaran etika yang mencakup pengendalian diri, keseimbangan hidup, dan perilaku moral dalam konteks tradisi intelektual Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki keterkaitan antara teori etika Ibn Miskawaih dengan prinsip-prinsip moral dalam naskah tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif-komparatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kedua sumber ajaran tersebut memiliki kesamaan dalam menekankan pentingnya pembentukan karakter manusia yang berakhlak baik dan mampu hidup harmonis dalam masyarakat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa etika tidak hanya bersifat teologis, melainkan juga kontekstual dan praktis dalam kehidupan sosial. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi pemikiran lintas budaya sebagai pendekatan baru dalam kajian etika di Indonesia

    Analisis Relasi Sosial Ekonomi terhadap Partisipasi Politik Perempuan Tahun 2024 di Kabupaten Langkat

    Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan relasi antara status sosial ekonomi dan partisipasi politik perempuan di Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini akan membatasi cakupan pada bagaimana status sosial ekonomi, yang mencakup pendidikan, pendapatan, dan pemilikan kekayaan, mempengaruhi kesadaran politik dan perilaku pemilihan perempuan dalam konteks demokratisasi di Kabupaten Langkat. Subjek penelitian artikel ini adalah perempuan di Kabupaten Langkat. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan suatu fenomena mendalam yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data – data di lapangan maupun studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perempuan di Kabupaten Langkat memiliki peran yang semakin penting dalam pembangunan dan proses politik. Namun, masih terdapat variasi dan ketimpangan dalam partisipasi politik dan kesadaran perempuan yang perlu diatasi melalui strategi pembangunan yang inklusif dan mendukung pemberdayaan perempuan. Artikel ini sangat direkomendasikan untuk penggiat politi khususnya perempuan dan akademisi.

    Marketing Strategy and Islamic Business Ethics in Promoting Mudharabah Deposits at Bank Muamalat Sukaramai

    This study explores the marketing strategy and application of Islamic business ethics in promoting mudharabah deposit products at Bank Muamalat KCP Sukaramai, Medan. The research aims to analyze how marketing strategies are implemented at the branch level and identify key challenges in attracting public interest to sharia-compliant investment products. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, employing case study methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, covering data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Bank Muamalat Sukaramai applies a marketing mix strategy consisting of product development, profit-sharing–based pricing, personal and digital promotion, and local community engagement. Ethical Islamic values such as honesty, transparency, and fairness are consistently upheld throughout the marketing process. The bank also integrates educational efforts to increase public understanding of mudharabah principles through seminars, profit-sharing simulations, and social media content. However, several challenges remain, including low public literacy on sharia finance, tight competition with conventional banks, shifting customer preferences toward digital platforms, and regulatory constraints. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic banking marketing by highlighting practical, ethical-based strategies that are adaptive to local branch contexts. The study offers insights for other Islamic financial institutions seeking to enhance the appeal of profit-sharing deposit products and foster consumer trust in line with Islamic principles.Keywords: Marketing Strategy; Mudharabah Deposit; Islamic Business Ethics; Sharia Banking; Marketing Mix

    The Role of Fiqh Iqtishad in Developing Islamic Economic Law and Practice

    Fiqh Iqtishad, as a branch of Islamic jurisprudence that regulates economic behavior, plays a pivotal role in the development of Islamic economic law and practice. In the face of modern economic complexities, this study investigates how fiqh iqtishad provides a normative and ethical foundation for sharia-compliant economic systems. This research employs a qualitative library research method, collecting and analyzing authoritative sources including classical texts, academic journals, and regulatory frameworks. The study reveals that fiqh iqtishad serves not only as a source of legal guidance, but also as a dynamic and adaptable instrument for economic transformation grounded in the Qur’an, Hadith, ijmaʿ, and qiyas. Key principles such as the prohibition of riba, gharar, and maysir, as well as the emphasis on justice, transparency, and equitable distribution through zakah and waqf, demonstrate its integrative capacity in addressing both spiritual and material aspects of economic life.The findings show that while fiqh iqtishad has significantly influenced Islamic banking, halal investment, and wealth redistribution, its implementation still faces challenges, particularly in the areas of public awareness, regulatory harmonization, and institutional capacity. This study concludes that strengthening the application of fiqh iqtishad requires collaborative efforts between scholars, regulators, and practitioners to realize a more just, inclusive, and sustainable Islamic economic system.Keywords: Fiqh iqtishad; Islamic economic law; sharia finance; justice; wealth distributio
