Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Tunjangan Profesi Guru, dan Iklim Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru SMK Negeri di Kota Makassar
This research aims to investigate how much the influence of principal’s leadership, teacher professional allowance and school climate affects teachers’ performance by addressing these five points: 1) how principals exercise their leadership skills; 2) how the teacher professional allowance works; 3) how the school climate is; 4) how teachers perform; 5) how much the aspect of principal’s leadership, teacher professional allowance, and school climate contribute to teachers’ overall performance. This research uses qualitative method and utilizes survey as the design. To explain the issue, it employs methodological approach with positivistic perspective and scientific approach through pedagogical and psychological perspectives. Total of 85 participants were selected from 610 population using accidental sampling technique. The data were collected using survey and documentations, then analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Testing with three predictors. The data analysis in this research suggests some key findings: First, the principal’s leadership skill is on low range with score of 40%. Second, the teacher professional allowance is on moderate range with score of 48.2%. Third, the school climate is reported to be moderate with score of 32.9%. Fourth, the teachers’ performance is considered moderate with score of 40%. Fifth, the Multiple Linear Regression Testing reveals the influence rate of principal’s leadership, teacher professional allowance, and school climate on teachers’ performance is as follows: regression equation Ŷ=100.629+0.022X1+0.083X2+0.256X3, with Fcount of 4.661. The fact that Fcount is bigger than Ftable (2.72), and its sig value is smaller than 0.05 (0.005 < 0.05), it indicates that there is a significant influence of principal’s leadership, teacher professional allowance, and school climate on teachers’ performance are R = 0,384 and R2 = 0,116
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Peserta Didik SMP
This study aims to analyze efforts to improve science learning outcomes of mechanical energy materials through cooperative learning of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja, Soppeng Regency. This research is a classroom action research using a qualitative approach, the researcher acts as a teacher who works to collect and analyze data. The results showed that the cooperative learning of STAD model in learning science of mechanical energy material was carried out through seven stages, namely preparation of learning, presentation of material, study in groups, examination of group learning outcomes, working on individual tests, examination tests, and group awards. In the first learning cycle, learning completeness criteria do not meet the performance indicators. After going through the second learning cycle, students are more active in learning participation, students are more enthusiastic in group discussions and class discussions, student understanding increases in answering tests verbally and in writing, increase student responses to learning, and also increases learning achievement. Because learning objectives have been achieved, the learning is considered successful and it was concluded that the cooperative learning of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model can improve students' science learning outcomes in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja, Soppeng Regenc
Perspektif Sosio-Historis tentang Menata ke Depan Keunggulan Pendidikan Islam
This article discusses four things: 1) the challenges of Islamic education, 2) the problems of education in Indonesia, 3) the socio-historical Islamic education in Indonesia, and 4) managing the superiority of Islamic education in the future. This research is descriptive qualitative with conceptual analysis method. Data collected through library documentation are then processed and analyzed using content analysis method. The results of the study show that the main challenges of Islamic education are the dichotomy of science and the dualism of education that influence the orientation and epistemology of Islamic education. The main problem of education in Indonesia is the purpose of education is not optimally supported by other educational factors, while the morale of the nation's children has degraded with increasingly complex delinquency. Socio-historically, the socio-religious interaction of the community can form a distinctive educational tradition by combining Islamic (religious) and national (cultural) values without ignoring the development of the times. The future of Islamic education is largely determined by the awareness, sincerity, and power of the jihad of its educators, as well as the sincerity of the government in applying Islamic teachings in various jobs and all aspects of life
Tinjauan Psikologis Humanistik dalam Pedagogik Spiritual
This article has a main focus in examining the humanistic content, the verses of the Koran which have humanist educational values, and their development in spiritual pedagogical practices. This research is in the form of a descriptive narrative with a literature study method, which shows the results of the research consisting, about Humanistic Psychological theories, Spiritual Pedagogics with studies some verses about Spiritual Pedagogics, and the last this article talk about the implications of these verse in the development of PAI learning. The obligation to recover psychological learners is very convincing for all educators without exception. Education will have a better quality, when educators carry out their duties as instructors, mentors, facilitators, and motivators, as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. in educating all Muslims to this day. The Influence of Self-Concept on Deviant Behaviuor in the Students of Ternate State Islamic Institute
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of self-concept on deviant behaviour in the students of Ternate State Islamic Institute. The scope was limited to three problems, they were: 1) Self-concept of students of Ternate State Islamic Institute. 2) The deviant behaviour of students of the Ternate State Islamic Institute. 3) The significance level of self-concept influence on student’s deviant behaviour at the Ternate State Islamic Institute. This type of research was field research with a survey approach and psychological sampling technique by using a sampling quota of 77 people. The research instruments were questionnaire and documentation. The analysis techniques were descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that: 1) the students’ self-concept of Ternate State Islamic Institute was in the medium category, it was 57%. 2) The students’ deviant behaviour of Ternate State Islamic Institute was in a low category, it was 8%. Self-concept has a significant effect on deviant behaviour among students of Ternate State Islamic Institute which was14.5%
The Types of Questions Used by the Teacher in Reading Class at MTs As’adiyah Ereng-Ereng Bantaeng
This research highlights the types of questions used by the teacher in Reading Class which focused on teacher’s question, types of the question and the length of students’ responses. The research was conducted at MTs As’adiyah Ereng-Ereng Bantaeng, the researcher chose one English teacher purposively. This research applied qualitative descriptive and discourse analysis as a research design to analyze language, writing, speech, and conversation (verbal and non-verbal). The data was collected through classroom observation and interview. One teacher was involved as a subject of this research. The data were analyzed based on three procedures of data analysis which were involved in data collection, data analysis and interpretation. The result of this research shows that (1) the teacher performed both types of question from Lidya’s Genre of question they are less sophisticated and sophisticated questions. In this research less sophisticated question emerged 328 times in three meetings observation. This level of question become most used level of question because basically the teacher asked question to recall the material that they have been learned before in order to involve the students’ participation and to recall their memory in their teacher and learning process especially memory that related to the words meaning. In contrast, sophisticated question only appeared 106 times. The sophisticated questions demand the students to use their imagination, developed unique ideas, think creatively and making some judgment related to the teaching material based on the specific criterion. (2) The reason why teacher ask questions dominated by checking the students’ understanding about the material. The types of questions asked were determined by pedagogical purposes the teacher wanted to achieve. (3) The question that achieves the longest response was less sophisticated questions (more-than-ten-words) based on the length of students ’responses and followed by sophisticated question (seven-to-ten-words) it means that when this type of question asked, the students’ response was shorter
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berkarya dan Presentasi Pameran Kelas dalam Pembelajaran Seni Budaya pada Siswa Kelas XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng
This study aims to analyze: 1) the form of application of work learning model and class exhibition presentations in learning art-culture and 2) the implications of implementing the work learning model and class exhibition presentations to the improvement of student art-culture learning outcomes. The research type is classroom action research. The researcher actively participates and is directly involved in the research process from the beginning to the end of the study and provides a regular and systematic framework for the effectiveness of the work learning model and class exhibitions presentation in learning art-culture on illustrative drawing material. The subjects in this study were the teacher of arts-cultural (researcher) and XI IPS 3 students at Senior High School (SMA) Negri 2 Soppeng learning year 2018/2019 with 25 students total. The results of the study show that the application of the work learning model and class exhibition presentation can improve the outcomes of learning art-cultural on illustration drawing material to XI IPS 3 students at Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 2 Soppeng. This is based on student learning completeness reaching 100% with a grade point average of 84.8
Fitrah Perspektif Hadis dan Implikasinya terhadap Konsep Pendidikan Islam Mengenai Perkembangan Manusia
This study discusses fitrah in hadith perspective which is divided into three research focuses, namely 1) the quality and understanding of hadith about fitrah; 2) the relevance of hadith about fitrah to the theory of human development; and 3) fitrah as the concept of Islamic education. This research is a study of thematic hadith. Starting with takhrij-hadith, i’tibar-sanad, hadith criticism, hadith understanding, and development analysis about fitrah as the concept of Islamic education in constructing human development system through education. The results indicate that the quality of the hadith about fitrah is sahih. Fitrah according to the hadith is the initial condition (creation) or the origin of human born in an Islamic (muslim). Various developments or deviations from Islamic fitrah are the responsibility of parents (educators) as an educational environment. Various views of the flow of education regarding the theory of human development are refined by the concept of Islamic thought contained in the hadith about fitrah. There is a correlation between the potential (innate) of children and the environment in their development. Where the orientation of development must be based on Ilahiah values without forgetting the biological side. That the fitrah is the potential that brings humanity to be happy in the world and fortunate in the hereafter. Fitrah has an inseparable correlation with Islamic education because it is a basic human potential to be developed in order to optimize functions and achieve the goal of human creation through education so that fitrah becomes a basic in designing Islamic education
Nilai Pendidikan Islam dalam Qur'an Surah Luqman Ayat 1-19: Tinjauan Kognitif, Afektif, dan Psikomotorik
The main focuses in this study are 1) Islamic educational values contained in QS Luqman/31: 1-9; 2) fostering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor potential according to QS Luqman/31: 1-9; and 3) the results of the development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor potential according to QS Luqman/31: 1-9. This study is library research which is descriptive analysis using normative theological, historical, and pedagogical approaches. The results showed that the values of Islamic education in QS Luqman/31: 1-9 included tauhid education, moral education, worship education, social education, mental education, and exemplary education. The application of these educational values in the dimensions of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor is carried out by Luqman al-Hakim who is known to be virtuous, wise, intellectual, and true in words and deeds. The nature and attitude of the educator will produce students who have strong faith, good morals, and understanding of Shari'a by implementing it correctly as evidence of the development of balanced cognitive, affective, and psychomotor potentials
Peranan Pendidikan Akhlak dalam Mengembangkan Kepribadian Peserta Didik di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Parepare
The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of moral education in developing the personality of students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Parepare which focused on 1) the implementation of moral education in developing the personality of students; 2) contribution of moral education in developing the personality of students; and 3) supporting and inhibiting factors to the implementation of moral education in developing the personality of students. This type of research is qualitative. The source of the data came from respondents consisting of faith-moral (akidah akhlak) teachers and some students from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Parepare. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of moral education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Parepare uses two forms of learning, namely classroom learning and learning outside the classroom. The contributions of moral education in developing the personality of students are 1) as a filter of negative influences from outside and 2) as fostering students’ faith and moral values so that they determine their attitudes and behavior. Supporting factors for the implementation of moral education in developing the personality of students in the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Parepare are 1) professional teaching staff; 2) good cooperation from all stakeholders; 3) facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are 1) lack of religious education in the family and attention from parents; 2) heterogeneity of environmental conditions of students; and 3) lack of awareness of students
