The Alcoholics Father Peter’s recovery process and the AA “12 Steps” : A Case Study of “The Story of Father Peter”
No full text本稿の目的は、アルコール依存症者となったカトリック神父が書いた『ピーター神父の物語』を事例対象として、神父の回復過程にAAの「12ステップ」が大きく寄与していることを明らかにすることである。方法としては、その物語の中で神父が記述した「12のステップ」についての解説と内省の箇所を選出し、神父が「12のステップ」を歩んで回復していった過程を提示し検討することである。その過程はアルコールに対して無力を認めて、『自分なりに理解した神』が健康な心に戻してくれると信じ、意志と生き方を神に委ね、仲間と共にソブラエティを生きた歩みであった。その際「12のステップ」にある５つ原理などを挙げ、「12のステップ」はスピリチュアリティ（霊性）志向であることを示した。結論としては「12のステップ」はアルコール依存症者の回復と成長に寄与するのみならず、生き方の指針となる原理を備えており、生き方の質の向上に寄与する汎用性が高いことにも言及した
