Reinforcement Options for Composite Structures Produced with Vacuum Infusion
No full textDiplomová práce pojednává o možnostech vyztužení kompozitních struktur vyráběných vakuovou infuzí za pomoci 3D tištěných žeber. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zaobírá klasifikací a popisem kompozitních materiálů. Jsou zde popsány fázové materiály a možnosti pro vyztužení kompozitních struktur. Rešerše také obsahuje popis výrobních technologií a způsoby mechanického testování struktur. Úvod praktické části je zaměřen na navržení vyztužujících prvků a jejich výrobu metodou 3D tisku. Dále dochází k výrobě zkušebních těles za pomocí vakuové infuze s využitím vyztužujících prvků. Na těchto tělesech jsou testovány ohybové vlastnosti a srovnány s analýzou.The thesis deals with the possibilities of reinforcing composite structures produced by vacuum infusion using 3D-printed ribs. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the classification and description of composite materials. It describes phase materials and various methods for reinforcing composite structures. The literature review also includes an overview of manufacturing technologies and methods of mechanical testing of structures. The practical part begins with the design of reinforcing elements and their production using 3D printing. This is followed by the manufacturing of test specimens via vacuum infusion incorporating the reinforcing elements. The flexural properties of these specimens are then tested and compared with the results of analytical modeling.Ústav výrobního inženýrstv
Considering and Implementing Gender-Inclusive Language at Selected Universities in the Czech Republic and in Austria
No full textTato práce se zabývá zohledněním a implementací genderově inkluzivního jazyka na vybraných univerzitách v České republice a v Rakousku. Teoretická část se nejprve zaměřuje na význam pojmu gender a genderově inkluzivního jazyka. Poté se pozornost obrací k významu, vývoji a působení generického maskulina. Dále jsou objasněny gramatické předpoklady obou jazyků ve vztahu k genderové inkluzivitě a představeny různé genderově inkluzivní alternativy generického maskulina. Následně jsou prezentovány plány genderové rovnosti na vybraných českých univerzitách a preferované způsoby genderově inkluzivního vyjadřování na vybraných rakouských univerzitách. Na závěr teoretické části je projednán postoj Ústavu pro jazyk český a rakouských a německých spolkových zemí k genderově inkluzivnímu jazyku. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu popisků instagramových příspěvků vybraných českých a rakouských univerzit z hlediska jejich genderově inkluzivního vyjadřování. Cílem je analyzovat aktuální stav implementace genderově inkluzivního jazyka na instagramových profilech jednotlivých univerzit, zhodnotit rozdíly v jeho užívání a přispět k podpoře genderové inkluzivity v akademickém prostředí.This thesis deals with the consideration and implementation of gender-inclusive language at selected universities in the Czech Republic and Austria. The theoretical part initially focuses on the significance of gender and gender-inclusive language. It then shifts to the importance, development, and impact of the generic masculine. Additionally, the grammatical prerequisites of both languages concerning gender inclusivity are explained, followed by an introduction of various gender-inclusive alternatives to the generic masculine. Subsequently, the Gender Equality Plans of selected Czech universities and the preferred gender-inclusive expressions at selected Austrian universities are presented. Finally, the stance of the Czech Language Institute and the Austrian and German federal states on the gender-inclusive language are discussed. The aim is to analyze the current state of gender-inclusive language implementation on the Instagram platforms of the respective universities, assess differences in usage, and contribute to promoting gender inclusivity in the academic environment.Ústav moderních jazyků a literatu

Cílem praktické části je pomocí paralelního korpusu prozkoumat, jak často je anglický trpný rod překládán do českého trpného rodu v literárních textech.This bachelor thesis deals with description and comparison of the grammatical voice in English and Czech language. The aim of the theoretical part is to define and describe passive voice, describe its function and formation in both languages with focus on distinguishing types of passive constructions. No full textTato bakalářská práce stručně pojednává o životě Tomáše Garrigua Masaryka, jeho práci a politickém boji za samostatnost Československého státu v Americe. Práce je chronologicky uspořádána dle jednotlivých amerických návštěv, současně s některými událostmi první světové války. První polovina práce se zabývá Masarykovým životem, včetně faktů o jeho rodině, studiích, manželství a rané politické i pedagogické aktivitě, následované prvotními návštěvami USA. Práce poté dále pojednává o průběhu války ve vztahu k Masarykovi a jeho politických snahách v zahraničí v rámci řešení České a Slovenské otázky. Budoval povědomí o této problematice v západní Evropě, především pak v Americe, s cílem dosáhnout uznání Československa jako samostatného státu. V závěru se práce stručně věnuje Masarykovu odkazu ve Spojených Státech; o stopě, kterou po sobě svým působením zanechal a jak si ho Amerika připomíná.This bachelor's thesis briefly presents the life of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, his work, and the political struggle for the independence of the Czechoslovak state in America. The thesis is chronologically arranged according to individual visits to America, along with some of the events of the First World War. The first half of the thesis deals with Masaryk's life, including facts about his family, studies, marriage, and early political and educational activities, followed by his first two visits to the United States. The thesis then discusses the course of the war in relation to Masaryk and his political efforts abroad to resolve the Czech and Slovak question, as he raised awareness of the issue in America to achieve recognition of Czechoslovakia as an independent state. Generational Trauma and Domestic Abuse in Selected Novels of Colleen Hoover
No full textTato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématy mezigeneračního traumatu a domácího násilí v románech Námi to končí (2016) a Námi to začíná (2022) současné americké spisovatelky Colleen Hoover. Mezigenerační trauma definuje traumatické zážitky a emoční strategie, které jsou předávány napříč generacemi, přičemž tento jev úzce souvisí s domácím násilím, vztahovou dynamikou a mechanismem zvládání stresových situací. Cílem této práce je s pomocí literární analýzy prozkoumat, jakými způsoby Colleen Hoover zobrazuje spletitost násilí, traumatu a vnitřního emocionálního a psychologického konfliktu postav, které usilují o to, aby se vymanili z koloběhu zneužívání. Tato práce se zároveň snaží podtrhnout roli současné beletrie jako nástroje pro zkoumání a zvyšování povědomí o složitosti domácího násilí a mezigeneračního traumatu.This bachelor thesis explores the themes of generational trauma and domestic abuse in Colleen Hoover's novels It Ends with Us (2016) and It Starts with Us (2022). Generational trauma, defined as a transmission of emotional patterns and traumatic experiences across generations, is closely connected to domestic abuse, relationship dynamics, and coping mechanisms of the victims. Through close literary analysis this thesis aims to examine the way in which Hoover portrays the complexity of abuse, trauma, and internal emotional and psychological conflicts of characters struggling to break the cyclical pattern of abuse. This thesis seeks to highlight the role of contemporary fictions as a medium for exploring and raising awareness about complexities of domestic abuse and generational trauma.Ústav moderních jazyků a literatu

No full textTato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu systému plánování, vyhledávání, výběru, přijímání a adaptace zaměstnanců ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem teoretické části bylo provést literární rešerši na vybrané personální procesy a činnosti a následně formulovat východiska, která tvořila základ pro zpracování praktické části. Praktická část se zaměřila na analýzu stávajícího systému těchto procesů a na následnou identifikaci předností a nedostatků. Výsledky analýzy sloužily jako podklad pro vytvoření projektu, který je v tomto případě zaměřen na zlepšení procesu vyhledávání a adaptace zaměstnanců ve vybrané společnosti. Navržený projekt byl také podroben časové, nákladové a rizikové analýze.This thesis focuses on the analysis of the system for planning, searching, selecting, recruiting, and adapting employees in a selected company. The aim of the theoretical part was to conduct a literature review of selected HR processes and activities, and to formulate a theoretical framework that serves as the basis for the practical part. The practical part analyzed the current system of these processes and identified its strengths and weaknesses. The results of the analysis provided a foundation for the development of a project aimed at improving the employee search and adaptation process in the selected company. No full textTeoretická část této bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na seznámení s historií, strukturou, syntézou, vlastnostmi, komplexy s ligandy a možnostmi modifikace cucurbit[n]urilů. Hlavním cílem experimentální části je syntéza polysubstituovaného CB6. Tomu nejprve předcházela izolace čistého CB6 založená na odlišných rozpustnostech jednotlivých homologů CBn ve vodě a HCl o různých koncentracích. A oxidace CB6 silným oxidačním činidlem (peroxodisíran amonný) za vzniku perhydroxyCB6. Jako další cíle se nabízí čištění a charakterizace připraveného perbutyloxyCB6, případně na něj navázat další delší substituenty.The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis focuses on the history, structure, synthesis, properties, complexes with ligands and possibilities of cucurbit[n]uril modification. The main objective of the experimental part is the synthesis of polysubstituted CB6. This was firstly preceded by the isolation of pure CB6 based on the different solubilities of the individual CBn homologues in water and HCl at different concentrations. And oxidation of CB6 with a strong oxidizing agent (ammonium peroxodisulfate) to form perhydroxyCB6. Purification and characterization of the prepared perbutyloxyCB6, possibly by coupling other longer substituents to it, are proposed as further targets.Ústav chemi
Optimization of lignin particle preparation and their interaction with other particles at the phase interface
No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývá přípravou ligninových nanočástic a studiem jejich interakcí na fázových rozhraních. Lignin, jako hojně dostupný přírodní polymer s vysokým aplikačním potenciálem, je využit k tvorbě nanočástic metodou precipitace antirozpouštědlem. Cílem práce je optimalizovat klíčové parametry přípravy s ohledem na výslednou velikost nanočástic. Nanočástice jsou následně testovány v modelových emulzních systémech za účelem posouzení jejich schopnosti stabilizace mezifázového rozhraní olej-voda, a to samostatně i v kombinaci s dalšími typy částic. Experimenty prokazují, že ligninové nanočástice efektivně stabilizují Pickeringovy emulze a vykazují synergické interakce s jinými částicemi. Získané poznatky přispívají k rozšíření znalostí o využití ligninu v oblasti materiálových a enviromentálních aplikací a potvrzují jeho potenciál jako obnovitelné suroviny pro vývoj funkčních disperzních systémů.This thesis deals with the preparation of lignin nanoparticles and the study of their interactions at the phase interfaces. Lignin, a widely available natural polymer with high application potential, is used to form nanoparticles by anti-solvent precipitation method. The aim of this work is to optimize key preparation parameters with respect to the resulting nanoparticle size. The nanoparticles are then tested in model emulsion systems to evaluate their ability to stabilize the oil-water interfacial interfaces, both independently and in combination with other particle types. Experiments demonstrate that lignin nanoparticles effectively stabilize Pickering emulsions and exhibit synergistic interactions with other particles. The obtained findings contribute to expand the knowledge on the use of lignin in materials and enviromental applications and confirm its potential as a renewable raw material for the development of functional dispersion systems.Ústav technologie tuků, tenzidů a kosmetik

No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zefektivnění týmové práce vybrané organizace, a to konkrétně Fakulty multimediálních komunikací na Univerzitě Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně. Jejím hlavním cílem je navrhnout konkrétní projekt vedoucí ke zvýšení efektivity týmové práce na základě analýzy současného stavu a potřeb organizace. Projekt byl podroben časové, nákladové a rizikové analýze. Prostřednictvím navrženého projektu se usiluje o zavedení teambuildingových aktivit, formalizaci pravidel spolupráce, systému pravidelné zpětné vazby, zlepšení komunikace a předávání informací a o optimalizaci pracovních procesů. Navržená opatření reflektují potřeby jednotlivých pracovišť a nabízejí praktický rámec pro zefektivnění týmové práce na fakultě.This thesis deals with the issue of teamwork efficiency in a selected organization, namely the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Main objective is to propose a specific project leading to the increase of teamwork efficiency based on the analysis of the current state and needs of the organization. The project was subjected to time, cost a risk analysis. Through the proposed project, the aim is to introduce team building activities, formalise cooperation rules, a regular feedback system, improve communication and information transfer and optimise work processes. Preparation of composite alginate microgels for biomedical applications
No full textZapouzdřené mikrogelové částice inspirované biologickými systémy si v oblasti výzkumu biomateriálů získávají čím dál větší pozornost. Studium mikrogelů nabízí značný potenciál pro další vývoj a vědecké zkoumání. Tato práce se zaměřuje na přípravu a charakterizaci kompozitních hydrogelů na bázi alginátu (AL), které jsou navrženy ke zmírnění zánětlivé odpovědi. Úspěšná syntéza mikroskopických hydrogelových sfér byla dosažena pomocí nové a inovativní metody založené na spontánní kondenzační reakci mezi alginátem a pyrrolem, a to bez potřeby oxidačních činidel či katalyzátorů. Kompozitní alginátové hydrogely s inkorporovaným polypyrrolem (PPy) byly připraveny řízenou metodou enkapsulace, která zajišťovala rovnoměrnou velikost mikrogelových kuliček díky přesnému nastavení parametrů, jako je koncentrace koloidního roztoku, frekvence vibrací, napětí a průtok. Pro pochopení jejich chování byly připravené hydrogely hodnoceny z hlediska protizánětlivých vlastností, cytotoxicity a schopnosti podporovat migraci a diferenciaci buněk v biologickém modelu hojení ran. Analýza dat potvrdila tvorbu mikroskopických hydrogelových sfér, stejně jako jejich biokompatibilitu a protizánětlivý účinek. Výsledné hydrogely by mohly představovat revoluční přístup v prevenci komplikací spojených s mokvajícími zanícenými ranami.Encapsulated microgels inspired by biological systems are increasingly gaining attention in the field of biomaterials research. The study of microgels offers significant potential for further development and scientific exploration. This thesis focuses on the preparation and characterization of composite hydrogels based on alginate (AL) designed to mitigate inflammatory responses. A successful synthesis of microscopic hydrogel spheres was achieved via a novel and innovative method, based on a spontaneous condensation reaction between alginates and pyrrole without the need for oxidizing agents or catalysts. The composite alginate hydrogels incorporating polypyrrole (PPy) were synthesized using a controlled encapsulation method that ensured the uniformity of the microbeads size through precise control of parameters such as colloidal solution concentration, vibration frequency, voltage, and flow rate. To understand their behavior, the prepared hydrogels were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory properties, cytotoxicity, and ability to support cell migration and differentiation in a biological wound healing model. Data analysis confirmed the formation of microscopic hydrogel spheres, as well as their biocompatibility and anti inflammatory qualities. The resulting hydrogels could be revolutionary in preventing complications associated with weeping inflamed wounds.Ústav technologie tuků, tenzidů a kosmetik
