Proposal for Fire Protection of a Panel House Using Multi-Criteria Evaluation Methods
No full textDiplomová práce se zabývá problematikou požární bezpečnosti panelových domů, jejichž konstrukční provedení často neodpovídá současným normám a požadavkům. Cílem je navrhnout technicky proveditelná a účinná opatření vedoucí ke snížení rizik spojených s požárem. Práce obsahuje přehled vývoje panelové výstavby, platné legislativy a požárních předpisů. Dále se věnuje analýze rizik a metodám multikriteriálního hodnocení, které slouží k porovnání navržených řešení. V praktické části jsou analyzována slabá místa v případě požáru, a následně navržena odpovídající opatření. V poslední části práce jsou sestaveny varianty řešení, které jsou za pomocí multikriteriálního hodnocení vyhodnoceny s cílem určit nejvhodnější variantu.The thesis deals with the issue of fire safety of prefabricated buildings, whose design often does not meet current standards and requirements. The aim is to propose technically feasible and effective measures to reduce the risks associated with fire. The thesis contains an overview of the development of prefabricated buildings, current legislation and fire regulations. It also discusses risk analysis and multi-criteria evaluation methods to compare the proposed solutions. In the practical part, the weak points in case of fire are analysed and then appropriate measures are proposed. In the last part of the thesis, solution options are compiled and evaluated using multicriteria evaluation to determine the most suitable option.Ústav elektroniky a měřen
Pediatric Paliative Care and its Impact on the Nurse's Mental Health
No full textDětská paliativní péče klade vysoké psychické nároky na sestry, které pečují o nevyléčitelně nemocné děti a jejich rodiny. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady této péče na psychické zdraví sester, rizikovými faktory zátěže a možnostmi prevence. Výzkum byl realizován kvalitativní metodou pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pěti sestrami. Výsledky ukazují, že největší zátěž představují opakovaná úmrtí, emočně náročná komunikace a nedostatek systémové podpory. Za klíčové prvky prevence vyhoření byly označeny týmová opora, sdílení, psychohygiena a dostupná supervize.Pediatric palliative care places high psychological demands on nurses caring for terminally ill children and their families. This bachelor thesis examines the impact of such care on nurses' mental health, identifies risk factors of psychological burden, and explores prevention strategies. The research was conducted using a qualitative method through semi- structured interviews with five nurses. The findings show that the greatest burdens include repeated child deaths, emotionally challenging communication, and lack of systemic support. Key protective factors identified were team support, peer sharing, self-care practices, and access to supervision.Ústav zdravotnických vě
Specifics of the Work of a Health and Social Worker with Substance Users
No full textV bakalářské práci jsme se zabývali specifiky práce zdravotně sociálních pracovníků s uživateli návykových látek. Cílem práce je na základě odborné literatury a studií, zpracovat přehled aktuálních poznatků týkajících se role, přístupů a metod používaných v sociální práci s touto cílovou skupinou. Dále se v teoretické části zaměřujeme na konkrétní pojmy, které s uživateli návykových látek souvisí. V rámci přehledové studie byly analyzovány dostupné odborné zdroje, z nichž byly vyvozeny reakce na výzkumné otázky a doporučení pro praxi. Pro získání relevantních informací byla provedena rešerše v elektronických databázích jako je PubMed, Scopus a ProQuest. Výsledky mohou přispět k lepšímu porozumění této oblasti a povznést význam zdravotně sociálních pracovníků v péči o osoby se závislostí.In the bachelor thesis we dealt with the specifics of the work of health and social workers with substance users. The aim of the thesis is, based on literature and studies, to provide an overview of current knowledge concerning the role, approaches and methods used in social work with this target group. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on specific concepts related to substance users. The review study analysed available scholarly sources, from which responses to the research questions and recommendations for practice were drawn. Electronic databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and ProQuest were searched for relevant information. The results may contribute to a better understanding of the field and elevate the importance of health social workers in the care of people with addiction.Ústav zdravotnických vě

The aim of the thesis is to analyze and identify the most vulnerable areas and propose measures to reduce flood risks. V teoretické části je analyzován současný stav elektromobility, typy elektromobilů, dostupné technologie dobíjení a relevantní legislativa a normy. Praktická část obsahuje výběr vhodného umístění stanice, návrh optimálního typu dobíjecí stanice a řešení jejího zapojení do distribuční sítě. Dále práce zahrnuje zpracování opatření požární bezpečnosti specifických pro podzemní prostory a technickou ochranu proti nežádoucímu využívání. Výsledkem je technicky realizovatelný projekt, který podporuje rozvoj elektromobility v městském prostředí a splňuje veškeré požadavky na bezpečnost provozu.This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of a charging station for electric vehicles in the underground garages of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The theoretical section analyses the current state of electromobility, types of electric vehicles, available charging technologies, and relevant legislative and technical standards. The practical part includes the selection of a suitable location for the station, the design of the optimal type of charging station, and its integration into the power distribution network. Furthermore, the thesis addresses fire safety measures specific to underground spaces and technical protection against unauthorized use. No full textDiplomová práce se zabývá problematikou fyzické bezpečnosti vybrané autobusové stanice. Cílem práce je identifikovat potenciální hrozby, provést bezpečnostní posouzení objektu a určit slabá místa a následně navrhnout vhodná bezpečnostní opatření s důrazem na jejich efektivitu a ekonomickou proveditelnost. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy týkající se veřejné dopravy, právního rámce bezpečnosti a metod analýzy rizik. Praktická část se zaměřuje na konkrétní autobusovou stanici, jejíž poloha, provozní specifika a okolní prostředí výrazně ovlivňují bezpečnostní situaci. Součástí analýzy je vyhodnocení aktuálního stavu zabezpečení, SWOT a KARS analýza a srovnání dvou variant bezpečnostních opatření. Na základě získaných poznatků je doporučeno realizovat variantu s vyšší mírou zabezpečení, která lépe odpovídá identifikovaným rizikům a strategickému významu stanice.The thesis deals with the issue of physical security of a selected bus station. The aim of the thesis is to identify potential threats, carry out a security assessment of the facility, define weak points and then propose appropriate security measures with emphasis on their effectiveness and economic feasibility. The theoretical part defines basic concepts related to public transport, legal framework of security and methods of risk analysis. The practical part focuses on a specific bus station whose location, operational specificities and surrounding environment significantly influence the security situation. The analysis includes an evaluation of the current security situation, SWOT and KARS analysis and a comparison of two variants of security measures. Based on the findings, it is recommended to implement the variant with a higher level of security, which better corresponds to the identified risks and the strategic importance of the station.Ústav elektroniky a měřen

Cílem je zhodnotit aktuální stav BOZP v podmínkách konkrétního pracoviště a navrhnout možná zlepšení. Teoretická část se zabývá základní terminologií a přehledem platné legislativy, která upravuje povinnosti zaměstnavatelů a práva zaměstnanců v oblasti BOZP. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu stávajících opatření, především v souvislosti s manipulací s nebezpečnými chemickými látkami a používáním osobních ochranných pracovních prostředků. Výstupem práce je návrh na optimalizaci současného stavu s cílem zvýšit úroveň ochrany zdraví zaměstnanců a zlepšit prevenci pracovních rizik.The diploma thesis deals with the issue of occupational health and safety with a focus on the company ZF Engineering Plzeň. The aim is to evaluate the current state of OSH in the conditions of a specific workplace and to propose possible improvements. The theoretical part deals with basic terminology and an overview of the legislation in force, which regulates the obligations of employers and the rights of employees in the field of OSH. The practical part is focused on the analysis of existing measures, especially in relation to the handling of hazardous chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment. Care of the Newborn Umbilical Stump
No full textBakalářská práce se zaměřuje na péči o pupeční pahýl novorozence, její vývoj a aktuální doporučení. Cílem práce je shrnout poznatky v péči o pupeční pahýl novorozence z odborné literatury, identifikovat vhodné postupy a navrhnout doporučení pro minimalizaci komplikací a podporu bezpečného hojení. Práce je vytvořena formou přehledové studie, která analyzuje 22 relevantních studií z databází Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar a EBSCOhost. Výsledky ukazují, že metoda suché péče je vhodná v prostředích s nízkou novorozeneckou úmrtností, zatímco antiseptika jsou doporučována v rizikových oblastech. Správná péče o pupeční pahýl snižuje riziko omfalitidy a zlepšuje kvalitu péče o novorozence. Závěry práce poskytují praktická doporučení pro rodiče i zdravotníky, která mohou přispět k bezpečnému hojení a snížení komplikací.The bachelor thesis focuses on the care of the umbilical stump of the newborn, its development and current recommendations. The aim of the thesis is to summarize the findings from the literature, identify appropriate procedures and propose recommendations to minimize complications and promote safe healing. The thesis is designed as a review study that analyzes 22 relevant studies from Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar and EBSCOhost databases. The results show that the dry care method is appropriate in settings with low neonatal mortality, while antiseptics are recommended in high-risk areas. Proper umbilical stump care reduces the risk of omphalitis and improves the quality of care for newborns. The conclusions of the paper provide practical recommendations for parents and health care professionals that may contribute to safe healing and reduced complications.Ústav zdravotnických vě
Exploring the Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Image and Financial Performance: A Consumer-Centric Study of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing in Nigeria
No full textSpolečenská odpovědnost firem (CSR) se transformovala z dobrovolné aktivity na strategickou nutnost, která hluboce ovlivňuje firemní reputaci a finanční výsledky. Nicméně iniciativy CSR ve vztahu k vnímání zákazníků a finančnímu úspěchu podniků jsou vzácné, což vyvolává možnost, že se mohou jednat pouze o snahy řízené shodou s předpisy s minimálním smysluplným dopadem. Cílem této studie je prozkoumat vztah mezi iniciativami CSR a firemním obrazem, vyhodnotit dopad iniciativ CSR na finanční výkon a prozkoumat zprostředkovatelskou roli firemního obrazu ve vztahu mezi CSR a finančním výkonem. Tato studie využívá deskriptivní metodu, přičemž byla použita strukturovaná Likertova škála jako dotazník pro sběr primárních dat od uživatelů automobilů Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM). Studie použila metodu nepravděpodobnostního účelového výběru vzorků k výběru 102 účastníků, primárně se zaměřila na spotřebitele a analyzovala pomocí statistického balíčku pro společenské vědy (SPSS) a softwaru Adanco verze 2.2. Z analýzy vyplývá, že zjištění potvrdila, že CSR programy výrazně zlepšují image firmy. Studie také ukázala, že firmy zapojené do CSR projektů mohou zlepšit svou reputaci a veřejný obraz. Přímý dopad CSR opatření na finanční výkonnost se nepotvrdil. To naznačuje, že programy CSR sice mohou zlepšit veřejné mínění, ale nemusí nutně přinést okamžité finanční výhody. Studie doporučila zlepšit image společnosti prostřednictvím zajištění kvality a zapojení zákazníků, posílit finanční výkonnost prostřednictvím strategických partnerství, posílit finanční výkonnost prostřednictvím strategických partnerství a využít digitální transformaci pro konkurenční výhodu.Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has transitioned from a voluntary activity to a strategic imperative that profoundly impacts corporate reputation and financial outcomes. However, CSR initiatives on customer perception and business financial success is scarce, raising the possibility that they may be purely compliance-driven efforts with minimal meaningful impact. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between CSR initiatives and corporate image, evaluate the impact of CSR initiatives on financial performance and to examine the mediating role of corporate image in the relationship between CSR and financial performance. This study employs a post -positivist approach to test its stated hypotheses, where a structured Likert scale survey instrument was used to gather primary data from users of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) automobiles. The study used a non-probability purposive sampling method to choose 102 participants, primarily focusing on consumers and analysed utilizing the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Adanco Software Version 2.2. From the analysis, the findings confirmed that CSR programs significantly enhance corporate image. The study also showed that firms engaged in CSR projects may improve their reputation and public image. The direct impact of CSR measures on financial performance was not confirmed. This indicated that while CSR programs may improve public opinion, they may not necessarily yield immediate financial advantages. The study recommended enhancing corporate image through quality assurance and customer engagement, strengthening financial performance through strategic partnerships, strengthening financial performance through strategic partnerships and leveraging digital transformation for competitive advantage for Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) automobiles.Ústav podnikové ekonomik

No full textPředmětem diplomové práce je návrh projektu rozšíření podnikatelských aktivit společnosti TOMATEX Otrokovice, a.s., která působí jako dodavatel interiérových komponentů pro automobilový průmysl. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na ekonomickou a situační analýzu, přičemž využívá Porterův model pěti sil, SWOT analýzu a metodu polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. V praktické části je na základě výsledků analytické části navržen projekt vstupu do nového tržního segmentu mimo oblast automotive, a to prostřednictvím zavedení nové technologie laminace poptávané v jiných odvětvích. Součástí návrhu je ekonomické zhodnocení investice a rámcová analýza souvisejících rizik. Práce směřuje k vytvoření návrhu, který může sloužit jako podklad pro rozhodování vedení společnosti v oblasti rozšíření výrobních aktivit.The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a project to expand the business activities of TOMATEX Otrokovice, a.s., a company operating as a supplier of interior components for the automotive industry. The theoretical part focuses on economic and situational analysis, using Porter's Five Forces model, SWOT analysis, and the method of semi-structured interviews. Based on the results of the analytical section, the practical part proposes a project aimed at entering a new market segment outside the automotive sector through the implementation of a new lamination technology that is in demand in other industries. The proposal includes an economic evaluation of the investment and a general risk analysis. The thesis aims to present a proposal that may serve as a basis for managerial decision making regarding the expansion of production activities.Ústav podnikové ekonomik
