Development of a Unity Asset for Automatic Maze Generation
No full textCílem této diplomové práce je návrh a implementace nástroje pro generování bludišť v herním enginu Unity, který umožňuje tvorbu různých typů bludišť pro počítačové hry. Nástroj podporuje generování bludišť s více patry a obsahuje editační režim pro manuální úpravy zdí a také minimapu pro orientaci hráče v prostředí. Teoretická část se věnuje herním enginům Unity, Unreal Engine a Godot, popisuje jejich rozdíly. Dále objasňuje rozdíl mezi labyrintem a bludištěm a popisuje vlastnosti perfektního bludiště. Součástí této části je také analýza různých algoritmů pro generování bludišť, včetně jejich výhod a nevýhod. Praktická část se zaměřuje na vývoj nástroje v Unity, testování výkonu algoritmů a porovnání jejich efektivity. Nástroj umožňuje generování bludišť náhodně nebo na základě obrázku, podporuje čtvercové i hexagonové mřížky, kontrolu propojenosti buněk a ověření řešitelnosti bludiště. Kromě toho obsahuje vlastní shader a využívá dynamické zobrazení bludiště pomocí chunků.The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a maze generation tool within the Unity game engine that enables the creation of various types of mazes for computer games. The tool supports multi-level maze generation, includes an editing mode for manual wall adjustments, and also features a minimap to help the player navigate the environment. The theoretical part focuses on game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot, and describes their differences. It also explains the distinction between a labyrinth and a maze, and outlines the characteristics of a perfect maze. This section includes an analysis of various maze generation algorithms, along with their advantages and disadvantages.The practical part is dedicated to the development of the tool in Unity, including performance testing of the algorithms and comparison of their efficiency. The tool supports random maze generation or generation based on an image, and it accommodates both square and hexagonal grids. It also includes connectivity checks and solvability validation to ensure that the generated maze can always be completed. Cílem je vytvořit interaktivní nástroj, který podpoří pochopení abstraktních elektrotechnických konceptů prostřednictvím simulace v prostředí virtuální reality. Teoretická část práce popisuje přínosy VR ve vzdělávání, principy fungování elektrických obvodů, využití gamifikace, pedagogické přístupy i ergonomické a etické aspekty. Praktická část dokumentuje analýzu požadavků, návrh a implementaci VR aplikace s využitím platformy Unity. Součástí práce je také uživatelské testování a reflexe výsledků. Výsledná aplikace demonstruje potenciál VR pro efektivní, bezpečnou a motivující výuku technických předmětů.This thesis focuses on the design, development, and educational use of a virtual reality (VR) application aimed at teaching the fundamentals of electrical circuits. The goal is to create an interactive tool that supports the understanding of abstract electrotechnical concepts through simulation in a VR environment. The theoretical part of the thesis explores the benefits of VR in education, the principles of electrical circuits, gamification, pedagogical approaches, as well as ergonomic and ethical aspects. The practical part documents the requirements analysis, the design and implementation of the VR application using the Unity platform. The work also includes user testing and evaluation of the results. Hlavním účelem této práce je zjistit míru autoregulace učení žáků středních škol a studentů vysokých škol, včetně rozdílů mezi zmíněnými dvěma proměnnými. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu autoregulace učení, její teoretické modely a fáze. Popisuje rozvoj autoregulace učení a rozdíly mezi učením na středních a vysokých školách. Praktická část práce je založena na kvantitativním výzkumu, který zkoumá míru autoregulace učení a její rozdíly mezi středoškolskými a vysokoškolskými studenty. Zároveň zkoumá rozdíly v autoregulaci učení mezi pohlavími a shrnuje zjištěné poznatky. Z výsledků je patrné, že rozdíly míry autoregulace učení na středních a vysokých školách jsou statisticky významné.This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of self-regulated learning. The main purpose of this thesis is to determine the extent of self-regulated learning of secondary school students and university students, including the difference between the two variables. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition of the concept of self-regulated learning, its theoretical models and phases. It describes the development of self-regulated learning and the differences between learning in secondary schools and universities. The practical part of the thesis is based on quantitative research that examines the extent of self-regulated learning and its differences between secondary school and university students. It also examines gender differences in self-regulated learning and summarizes the findings. No full textCílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit profesní zkušenosti sociálních pedagogů pracujících s dětmi z vyloučených lokalit. V teoretické části se zabýváme sociálním vyloučením, sociálně vyloučenými lokalitami a profesí sociálního pedagoga. V praktické části práce se zaměřujeme na zkušenosti sociálních pedagogů s dětmi a rodinami z vyloučených lokalit a hledáme určitá specifika této práce. Data byla získána na základě strukturovaných rozhovorů a následné tematické analýzy. Výzkum přibližuje činnosti, prožívání a výzvy sociálních pedagogů, kteří pracují s dětmi a rodinami z vyloučených lokalit.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the professional experiences of social educators working with children from excluded localities. The theoretical part deals with social exclusion, socially excluded localities and the profession of social pedagogue. In the practical part of the thesis we focus on the experience of social educators with children and families from excluded localities and look for certain specifics of this work. The data were collected on the basis of structured interviews and subsequent thematic analysis. No full textTato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice třídního klimatu na základní škole, která využívá principy Montessori pedagogiky. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou Montessori přístupu, popisem didaktických pomůcek, rolí učitele a žáka v Montessori prostředí, a rovněž rozlišením mezi alternativním a inovativním školstvím včetně přehledu dalších forem alternativního vzdělávání. Dále je pozornost věnována definici třídního klimatu, možnostem jeho diagnostiky a důvodům, proč je důležité jej zkoumat. Závěrečná kapitola této části přináší přehled tradičního školství, legislativních aspektů českého vzdělávacího systému a zaměřuje se na druhý stupeň základního vzdělávání. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na analýzu a popis třídního klimatu na základní škole s Montessori prvky. K dosažení výzkumných cílů byla využita kvantitativní výzkumná metoda.This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of classroom climate in a primary school that incorporates the principles of Montessori pedagogy. The theoretical part addresses the characteristics of the Montessori approach, describes the didactic materials used, and examines the roles of teachers and students within the Montessori environment. It also distinguishes between alternative and innovative education systems and provides an overview of other forms of alternative schooling. Further attention is given to the definition of classroom climate, methods of its diagnosis, and the reasons for its investigation. The final chapter of the theoretical part outlines traditional education, the legislative framework of the Czech educational system, and focuses on the lower secondary level of primary education. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to analyzing and describing the classroom climate in a primary school with Montessori elements. Hlavním cílem je komplexní finanční analýza, interpretace jejích výsledků, shrnutí finanční situace a navrhnutí doporučení. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část vysvětluje za pomocí poznatků z odborné literatury podstatu finanční analýzy, její uživatele a zdroje, ze kterých čerpá. Dále popisuje ukazatele a metody využívané pro následnou finanční analýzu podniku, včetně aplikace v podnikové praxi. Praktická část obsahuje charakteristiku vybrané společnosti a aplikuje tyto popsané metody a ukazatele na účetní výkazy analyzovaného podniku a jejích konkurentů, na jejichž základě je stanoveno celkové zhodnocení jeho finanční situace. S ohledem na výsledky analytické části je formulováno závěrečné shrnutí finanční situace a jsou navrhnuta možná doporučení ke zlepšení situace podniku.This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the financial analysis of KARAT Software a.s. for the fiscal period 2019-2023. The main objective is a comprehensive financial analysis, interpretation of its results, a summary of the financial situation, and proposal of recommendations. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part explains the concept of financial analysis, its users, and sources based on academic literature. It also describes the indicators and methods used for the financial analysis of the company, including their application in practice. The practical part presents the selected company and applies these methods and indicators to its financial statements and those of its competitors, forming the basis for the overall financial assessment. Teoretická část sumarizuje poznatky k problematice finanční analýzy a slouží jako základ pro zpracování části praktické, která se zabývá prací s ukazateli nezbytnými k hodnocení finanční analýzy. V této části je představena vybraná společnost a odvětví a následně je provedena finanční analýza. V závěru práce jsou formulována opatření do budoucna pro zlepšení finanční situace podniku.This Bachelor thesis focuses on the elaboration of financial analysis of IREL, spol. s. r. o. for the period 2018-2023. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes the main findings on the topic of financial analysis and serves as a basis for the practical part, which focuses on the analysis of indicators necessary for the evaluation of financial analysis. In this part, the selected company and industry are introduced and then the financial analysis is performed. The Visualisation of Right One-Way Jumping Finite Automata
No full textPravě jednosměrné skákající konečné automaty jsou rozšířením klasických konečných automatů o možnost skokového pohybu čtecí hlavy při čtení vstupního slova. V teoretické části této práce jsou definovány deterministické i nedeterministické varianty těchto automatů. Je popsáno procházení slov a vztahy k formálním jazykům podle Chomského hierarchie. Praktická část práce je zaměřená na návrh a realizaci desktopové aplikace pro vizualizaci procházení vstupního slova pravě jednosměrnými konečnými automaty i automaty klasickými. Aplikace je naprogramována v jazyce Python s využitím frameworku PyQt6 a umožňuje uživateli prostřednictvím grafického rozhraní zadat konfiguraci automatu, která je následně vizualizována.Right one-way jumping finite automata is an extension of standard finite automata with the possibility of jumping of the reading head over the input word. In the theoretical part of the thesis formulation of the automata and traversal of words, and their relation to the formal languages of the Chomsky hierarchy is described. The practical part deals with the design and creation of a desktop application for the visualization of traversal of the input word by both Right one-way jumping finite automata and classical finite automata. The application is created in the programming language Python with the framework PyQt6.
