Full text linkThis study aimed to describe the use and appliance faults cohesion in the short story Jawa Pos Newspaper edition in January-April 2016. The appliance cohesion in question, namely (1) grammatical cohesion, which includes reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction (the coupling. (2 ) Then, lexical cohesion which include repetition, synonyms, antonyms, hyponymy and hypernymy, collocation (collocation), and equivalence. this study used a qualitative descriptive method. the data source of this research is the short story of Newspaper jawa Post edition from January to July 2016.The study concluded that the short story Newspaper Tuban jawa Pos in writing short stories in 2016 were able to use a variety of devices cohesion both lexical and grammatical cohesion cohesion. on the other hand they also made mistakes in the use of appliances cohesion. 
KATA MAJEMUK DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA (SEBUAH TELAAH KOMPREHENSIF)
Full text linkThis writing aims giving deeper understanding to Indonesia users about clauses, phrases, and idioms so that they are able to differ those terms. The scope of this writing is about verb clause, noun clause, adjektive clause and the parts, phrases, and idioms. The method used in this writing is qualitative descriptive method. The result and the conclution is to be the good Indonesian users, understand about the clause (verb clause, naoun clause, and adjective clause), phrases, and idioms absolutely needed them the users are not trapped in misunderstanding the different of those clauses, phrases and idioms as clauses. The same form showed by those group of words is almost can not distinguised expert by understanding the special characteristic owned and showed by those group of word.
 
PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN TEKS PROSEDURAL KOMPLEKS DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA
Full text linkThis research focuses on developing common learning device by using scientific learning methods, while the focus in particular is a process of development and the quality of learning tools include validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of development research using model Four D that includes: 1) define; 2) design 3) develop 4) disseminate The research data is grouped into qualitative and quantitative data. The data collected by observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study are categorized very valid with details of the percentage of the syllabus (90%), assessment (92%), RPP (90%), and books students (88%), practicality is very practical in terms of the analysis results RPP with a score (98%), student responses with a score (93%), the response of teachers with a score (97%), the effectiveness categorized as very effective in terms of the analysis of the results of the activity of students with scores (92%), observation of activities with a score (99%), and student learning outcomes can be reached completeness with a score (98%).
 
MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN “BERGANTI PERAN”
Full text linkUnit Level Curriculum (SBC) suggested that the Indonesian language learning activities should be directed more towards activities that encourage students to learn actively, physically, socially and psychologically to understand the concept. Therefore, in the process of learning the Indonesian language using the methods teachers should make students do more activities realed to the learning process. With so many activities conducted, is expected to build a fun and enthusiasm learning process. Thus, understanding the concept, especially in terms of talk in the Indonesia language is getting better and learning outcomes also increased. This research aims to improve the ability to speak in class VII F SMP Negeri 1 Kalitengah using Role Reversal, with this method the student is given a group task, but individually still expected to be able to present the results of its work. This research was carried out in three cycles. With this strategy can increase their speaking skills. This is evident from the results of the evaluation (speech) made at the first cycle (66.86), second cycle (75.96), and the third cycle (81.14).
 
A STUDY ON INDONESIAN K-POPERS’ LITERACY ACTIVITIES IN ONLINE ENGLISH FANFICTION COMMUNITY
Full text linkThe purposes of this study are (1) to know the motivation of Indonesian K-Poper to involve in online English fanfiction community, (2) to know what literacy activities that Indonesian K-Poper was engaged with in online English fanfiction community which focuses on the writing strategies uses by a fanfiction writer and what interaction that most frequently happens between the fanfiction writer and readers.The research applies a descriptive study with qualitative approach using New Literacy Study or NLS theory (Lankshear&Knobel, 2006; Black, 2006; Thomas; 2006) as its core. The data is taken from questionnaire, interview, and documentation of three fanfiction writers from asianfanfics.com. The result reveals four major findings. First, the subjects’ motivations in writing English fanfiction are divided into three different categories, such as; self-enrichment, to stay a little longer, and celebration of media content. Second, the literacy activities that the fanfiction writers in asianfanfics.com were engaged with majorly are reading each other’s fanfictionand posting or writing fanfiction. Furthermore, based on the analysis using Woodrow’s theory of writing strategy, they use Cognitive, Meta-cognitive, and Social category. Moreover, according to the result, the interaction that is mostly happened between the subject and their readers is social interaction which fell under two different indicators; compliment and appreciation
Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Berita Siswa Kelas IX SMP Jalan Jawa Melalui Pembelajaran “Komedo”
Full text linkTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Berita Siswa Kelas IX SMP Jalan Jawa Melalui Pembelajaran KOMEDO. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui rerata skor kemampuan menulis berita siswa pada kondisi awal sebesar 58,14 dan pada siklus 1 mencapai 75,03 sehingga ada kenaikan sebesar 16,89. Dari siklus 1 sebesar 75,03 ke siklus 2 sebesar 85,64 terdapat kenaikan rerata skor kemampuan menulis berita sebesar 10,61. Terdapat kenaikan pencapaian tingkat ketuntasan belajar dari KKM pada kondisi awal ke siklus 1 dan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2
FENOMENA KESALAHAN UMUM PADA PEMILIHAN KATA SERTA MAKNANYA DALAM RAGAM BAKU BAHASA INDONESIA

The use of precise word choice is influenced by the ability of the language associated with the ability to know, understand, control, and use a number of active vocabulary to express ideas precisely so that they can communicate effectively to the reader or listener. In order to create an effective and efficient communication, good understanding, the use of diction or choice of words is felt very important, maybe even vital, particularly to avoid misunderstanding in communication. Selection of the right word is a means of supporting and critical success in communicating. Word choice or diction is not just a matter of select-opt the word, but rather covers how the effect of the word on the meaning and information to be conveyed. Choice of words used not only in communication but also used in written language. In the written language word choice (diction) affects the reader understands or not by the words we choose.
 
PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA DI PERGURUAN TINGGI (PENDEKATAN TEORETIS-PRAKTIS)
Full text linkThis study was conducted with the aim to (1) describe the process of developing textbooks, (2) describe the quality of textbooks developed: (a) the feasibility of the content, (b) the feasibility of the presentation, and (c) the feasibility of the language, and (3) describe the implementation of the developed textbook of language error analysis when implemented in the classroom. Data collected by the validation methods, questionnaire, and test methods. The findings of this study indicate that (1) in the process of developing the textbooks, there were seven development process, which have been done because of it the textbook was already feasible for use in accordance with the determined development method, (2) developed textbook was highly qualified and fit for use in terms of the feasibility of the content, presentation and language, (3) the developed textbook was highly effective in its implementation and appropriate for use
