June media coverage of climate change or global warming in newspapers around the globe went up 15% from June 2025. However, coverage in July 2025 was down 13% from July 2024 levels. In this larger context, Figure 1 shows that international wire services stories in July 2025 went up 16% from the previous month while remaining 24% lower than a year earlier (July 2024).</p

Christian Nationalism and Educational Policy in the United States
American public education, though historically rooted in Christian ideals, has long navigated tensions among denominational differences and, in modern times, secularism. The growing influence of Christian nationalism—a movement blending Protestant religious identity with political ideology—threatens this balance. Grounded in beliefs that the U.S. was divinely founded as a Christian nation and that social hierarchies under a Christian God must be preserved, it envisions public schooling as a vehicle for promoting Christian values and opposing “wokeness.” This ideology has fueled book bans, parental rights movements, and school board takeovers, bolstered by sympathetic Supreme Court rulings and political agendas such as Trump’s Project 2025. At its core, Christian nationalism views education as a battleground in a holy war over whether the U.S. remains a pluralistic democracy or becomes a Christian theocracy. The brief urges state lawmakers to expose how Christian nationalist ideologies shape schools by requiring publicly funded institutions to disclose which people and ideas they exclude.</p

Applications of Hyperfunctions in Quantum Field Theory and Mathematical Physics
Hyperfunctions are a type of generalized function introduced by Mikio Sato in [25] whichextend the concept of Schwartz distributions to infinite order. While Schwartz distributions are defined by their action on smooth test functions, hyperfunctions can be defined using sheaf coho- mology. Intuitively, a hyperfunction represents the jump from one holomorphic function to another across a boundary. This concept can be generalized to take values in a sufficiently nice topolog- ical vector space such as a Fréchet space. In this thesis, we use vector-valued hyperfunctions to construct Dirac’s bra-kets, projection-valued measures, as well as quantum fields.
In Axiomatic Quantum Field Theory, the Wightman Axioms define quantum fields as anoperator-valued generalization of Schwartz distributions satisfying certain axioms. We define an analogous generalization for operator-valued hyperfunctions and reformulate the Wightman Axioms using the language of hyperfunctions. In this framework, we construct explicit quantum fields and determine the holomorphic functions which represent their cohomology classes. We then show how the CPT Theorem can be naturally understood in terms of the analytic continuation of these underlying holomorphic functions. Finally, we consider diverging integrals which arise in interacting field theories and show how hyperfunctions can be applied to the process of regularization.</p
