Biological Population of Torpedo Scad (Megalaspis cordyla) in The Waters of Lampung Bay
Megalaspis cordyla, a demersal fish popularly referred to as torpedo scad, is the most commonly caught fish. As market demand and consumption rise, this will have an adverse effect on the sustainability of fish resources if improperly managed. The aim of this research was to analyze the population dynamics of Megalaspis cordyla in the waters of Lampung Bay. The study was carried out between April and September of 2024. Fishermen's catches in the waters surrounding Lampung Bay provided the Bekre fish used in the study. The study's findings demonstrated that bekre fish have a negative allometric growth trend. The value of the condition factor falls between 0.631 and 0.966. Fishing mortality (F) is 3.46 per year, total mortality (Z) is 4.59 per year, and exploitation rate (E) is 0.75 per year. The natural mortality value (M) of bekre fish is 1.13 per year, as are the values of the growth parameters of bekre fish, specifically Linf of 456 mm, growth coefficient (K) of 1.51 per year, and t0 of -0.049. March and October saw the highest bekre fish recruitment rates in Lampung Bay's waters, with 32.55% and 9.04%, respectively
The Effect of Combined Aren Palm Sap and Molasses as Carbon Sources on the Growth and Survival of Vannamei Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)
Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the most widely cultivated aquaculture commodities due to its high market demand and ability to grow intensively. However, intensive systems often generate environmental issues, especially from excess feed and ammonia waste. This study aimed to determine the best combination of aren palm sap and molasses as organic carbon sources in fermented feed to improve the growth and survival of L. vannamei. The research was conducted over 45 days using an experimental method and a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of six treatments and three replications, totaling 18 experimental units. The treatments included: P1 (control feed), P2 (feed + 10 ml/kg aren sap), P3 (feed + 10 ml/kg molasses), P4 (5 ml/kg aren sap + 5 ml/kg molasses), P5 (2.5 ml/kg aren sap + 7.5 ml/kg molasses), and P6 (7.5 ml/kg aren sap + 2.5 ml/kg molasses). The research included feed fermentation, shrimp rearing, water quality monitoring, and sampling. The best results were observed in treatment P5, which yielded the highest protein content in feed (32.98%), total bacteria (1,249,000 CFU), absolute weight gain (4.48 g), length gain (5.8 cm), specific growth rate (7.84%/day), feed efficiency (79.88%), and lowest feed conversion ratio (1.25). The combination of 2.5 ml/kg aren sap and 7.5 ml/kg molasses is recommended to enhance shrimp growth and feed utilization without negatively impacting water quality
Design And Performance Analysis of a Solar-Powered Boost Converter with Inductor Variations Controlled by Arduino Uno
This research designs and makes an analysis of the performance of a solar panel-based DC-DC boost converter topology using an Arduino Uno microcontroller. Boost converter is given a variation of inductor wire with 30 turns and 60 turns using a diameter of 1 . This research was conducted to obtain the highest characteristics and efficiency of the performance of the boost converter that has been designed and made for each inductor wire turn variation. In this research, data analysis will be carried out, namely the effect of duty cycle on voltage and current, and how the effect of variations in the number of inductors turns on the efficiency of the boost converter. This circuit uses an arduino uno microcontroller to generate and control the duty cycle on pulse width modulation (PWM) to regulate and increase the desired output voltage. The inductor on the DC-DC boost converter with a wire variation of 60 turns at a diameter of 1 gets the highest efficiency with an average efficiency of 67.13 , while the inductor wire with 30 turns gets an average efficiency of 66.32 . The maximum voltage generated by the solar panel used as the main source of electrical energy in the boost converter is 20.0 and the control system that has been applied to the arduino uno microcontroller can control and generate a duty cycle with a ratio of 0 - 90 . The boost converter circuit made gets low efficiency due to the presence of MOSFET components that work in non-ideal conditions, which causes excessive power losses

Identifikasi Kesalahan Mahasiswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Induksi Matematika pada Analisis Real: Perspektif Teori Kastolan
This study aims to identify and analyze the types of errors made by students in solving Mathematical Induction problems using Kastolan's theory. The analysis results are expected to clarify the specific difficulties faced by students and serve as a basis for improving the quality of mathematics education at the higher education level. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with ten sixth-semester students from the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan as subjects. Data were collected through written tests, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that students made three main types of errors: procedural errors (50%), technical errors (27.27%), and conceptual errors (22.72%). Procedural errors were the most dominant, indicating a lack of understanding of the systematic steps required in inductive proofs. The primary cause of these errors was the students' insufficient comprehension of mathematical induction material during lectures. Therefore, a learning approach that emphasizes understanding logical structures and proof procedures is necessary to enhance the quality of mathematics instruction in higher education. The agricultural sector faces major risks due to extreme climate change, market uncertainty and economic fluctuations, which can destabilize global food production. Agricultural insurance, despite its importance as a risk mitigation tool for farmers, still has limited article reviews compared to other insurance sectors such as health, life, and property. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of global research on agricultural insurance over the past two decades, focusing on publication trends, the most influential countries and journals, keyword analysis, and providing directions for future research. The study used data from Scopus with a total of 643 documents. Analysis was conducted using VOS viewer, RStudio, and Tableau to visualize collaboration patterns, dominant keywords, and global publication trends. The analysis shows a significant increase in the number of studies on agricultural insurance, which reinforces the urgency of insurance in supporting global food stability. The implications of this research point to the need to develop insurance models that are technology-based and more adaptive to climate change, especially to expand access for smallholder farmers in developing countries. Recommendations for future research are to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and technological innovation to support the sustainability and resilience of the agricultural sector in the future
Analisis Pemahaman Mahasiswa Terhadap Konsep Interval Dalam Mata Kuliah Analisis Real
This study aims to analyze students' understanding of the concept of interval in the Real Analysis course, particularly in understanding the properties of intervals, such as supremum, infimum, and nested intervals. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study. Data were collected through proof-based essay tests, semi-structured interviews, and participant observation during the learning process using GeoGebra 3D AR. The sample consisted of 35 fourth semester students from the Mathematics Education program enrolled in the Real Analysis course. Data analysis was carried out with a thematic approach based on the APOS theory (Action, Process, Object, Schema). The results showed that most students struggled to transfer the visual understanding obtained through GeoGebra 3D AR into formal proofs. While 68.6% of students showed an improvement in visual understanding, only 8.5% could formally prove the property of nested interval intersections. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating interactive technology with deeper proof exercises, as well as the application of problem-based approaches to enhance understanding of the interval concept. The limitations of this study include the small sample size and the focus on one type of learning technology. Future research is recommended to explore the use of other technologies and more varied teaching methods
