Effect of Sensor and Based NPK on the Growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) Cultivation Hydroponic
In hydroponic cultivation, the effectiveness of nutrient distribution is crucial in ensuring optimal plant growth. This research aims to compare the efficiency of nutrient solution delivery using an Internet of Things (IoT)-based NPK sensor with the conventional manual method on the growth of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). The study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatment groups: one utilizing IoT-based NPK sensors and the other without sensors. Each treatment was repeated twice, with nine plant samples per repetition. The observed growth parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight, and dry weight at six weeks after planting. The findings revealed that the implementation of IoT-based NPK sensors significantly enhanced the growth of pakcoy plants compared to the manual method. This was evidenced by a notable increase in plant height, leaf area, and fresh weight (p < 0.05). In conclusion, the application of IoT technology improves the efficiency and effectiveness of nutrient distribution in hydroponic systems, positively impacting plant growth. The scientific significance of this research suggests that integrating IoT-based technology into hydroponic farming can serve as an innovative approach to enhancing plant productivity in a precise and sustainable manner
Tree and Sapling Level Vegetation Analysis in the Social Forestry Area of Nagari Sumpur Kudus, Sijunjung Regency
This research was conducted in the Social Forestry Area of Nagari Sumpur Kudus, from May to October 2023. The reseacrh on this study airns to determine the composition and structure of tree and sapling vegetation in the Social Forestry Area of Nagari Sumpur Kudus, Sijunjung Regency. The method used in this study was a 120-meter transect line with 12 plots. In the plot, sub-plots were made with a size of 10 m x 10 m for the tree level and 5 m x 5 m for the sapling level. The results showed that there were 14 families, 14 genus, 14 species, and 19 individuals at the tree level. The co-dominant families, namely the Cornaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Phyllanthaceae and Ulmaceae. The compotition of sapling level was founds 17 families, 29 genus, 36 species, and 40 individuals. The co-dominant families are in the Phyllanthaceae and Euphorbiaceae. The highest importance index at the tree level was found in the Alangium sp. and the lowest was found in the Dipterocarpus confertus. the highest importance index for sapling level was found in the Cephalomappa malolpticarpa and the lowest was found in the Bischofia javanica and Nephelium cuspidatum. The diversity index (H') for tree-level plants is classified as medium and (H') for sapling-level plants is high
Community Structure of Phytoplankton in The Waters of Bagek Kembar Mangrove Ecosystem Essential Area, Sekotong, West Lombok
The Bagek Kembar Essential Ecosystem Area (EEA) is one of the mangrove forest areas in Lombok Island. This mangrove forest area is managed and developed into an educational tourist attraction (Ecotourism) to know various types of mangroves. The existence of Bagek Kembar mangrove Ecotourism is very important to support the economic income of the surrounding community. The existence of these various activities will potentially affect the balance of the mangrove ecosystem and the biota that live in there. This study aims to determine the composition of phytoplankton species and the condition of their diversity in the waters of the Bagek Kembar Mangrove Essential Ecosystem Area, West Lombok. Descriptive exploratory research was the methodology used. A 20 µm plankton net was used to filter 100 L of water in order to sample phytoplankton. Formalin at a 4% concentration was then used to preserve the filtered water samples. Individual abundance, evenness, dominance, and the index of species diversity were computed in order to analyze the data. The findings revealed that there were five divisions and 84 phytoplankton species. The Bagek Kembar Mangrove Essential Ecosystem Area's waters had an average phytoplankton abundance of 2,770 ind/L. The species dominance index of phytoplankton was 0.192 (low category), the species evenness index of phytoplankton was 0.633 (evenly distributed), and the average phytoplankton species diversity index of 2.296 was categorized as moderate. According to the findings of this study, the phytoplankton community's stability in the waters of the Bagek Kembar Mangrove Essential Ecosystem Area fell into the medium range
Pengembangan Minat Baca Anak Melalui Latihan Membaca di Desa Padang Pelasan
Minat baca merupakan salah satu fondasi pentingdalam perkembangan kognitif dan kemampuan akademis anak-anak. Sayangnya, di banyak daerah, terutama di desa-desaterpencil seperti Desa Padang Pelasan, minat baca anak-anakseringkali rendah. Kegiatan latihan memiliki tujuan untukmengembangkan minat baca anak-anak di Desa Padang Pelasanmelalui latihan membaca yang terstruktur dengan menggunakanbuku bacaan Tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD). Rendahnya minat bacaanak-anak di desa ini dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan aksesterhadap buku yang sesuai serta minimnya dukungan darilingkungan. Program latihan membaca yang diterapkanmelibatkan guru, orang tua, serta mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata(KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dalam menciptakanlingkungan yang mendukung literasi anak-anak. metode kegiatanyang dilakukan adalah 1) Penyusunan Program Latihan Membaca, 2)Kegiatan Membaca Harian. 3) Kegiatan Membaca Bersama, 4) Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkanpeningkatan signifikan dalam minat baca anak-anak sertapeningkatan kemampuan literasi. Kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat berperan penting dalamkeberhasilan program ini
Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Aikmel Tahun Ajarn 2024/2025
This study aims to analyze mathematical problem-solving abilities on the topic of Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV) from the perspective of learning styles among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Aikmel in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study consist of 6 students, selected using purposive sampling, comprising 2 students each with auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles. Data collection instruments used in this study include learning style questionnaires, mathematical problem-solving tests, and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that: 1) students with a visual learning style tend to solve problems presented in graphical form more quickly because they find it easier to understand concepts and ideas clearly when the problems are presented visually rather than in text; 2) students with an auditory learning style tend to experience difficulties and require more time to solve problems in graphical form because they are more accustomed to understanding information through listening rather than through visual representation; 3) students with kinesthetic and visual learning styles tend to have difficulty writing conclusions, as kinesthetic learners are more focused on the process of solving problems rather than formulating conclusions from the solutions obtained; 4) students with visual and auditory learning style are able to complete all four stages of Polya’s priblem-solving process, whereas students with kinestheticc learning style can only complete three out of four stages: understanding the problem, devising a plan, and carrying out the plan.
Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving, Learning Style, SPLDVPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi SPLDV ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Aikmel tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 6 siswa yang terdiri dari masing-masing 2 siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori, visual dan kinestetik yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa angket gaya belajar, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) siswa dengan gaya belajar visual cenderung lebih cepat menyelesaikan masalah yang disajikan dalam bentuk gambar karena siswa dengan gaya belajar visual lebih mudah memahami konsep dan ide secara jelas ketika masalah tersebut disajikan dalam bentuk visual dibandingkan teks ; 2) siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori cenderung mengalami kesulitan dan membutuhkan waktu lebih lama dalam menyelesaikan masalah berbentuk gambar karena siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori lebih terbiasa memahami informasi melalui pendengaran daripada melalui tampilan visual; 3) siswa dengan gaya belajar visual dan kinestetik cenderung kurang mampu menuliskan kesimpulan karena siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik lebih berfokus pada proses penyelesaian dibandingkan merumuskan kesimpulan dari jawaban yang diperoleh
Pengaruh Permainan Estafet Bola Terhadap Kemampuan Fisik Motorik Anak Kelompok B di TK As-Sunnah Desa Jurang Jaler Kecamatan Praya Tengah
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh permainan estafet bola terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik pada anak kelompok B. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen, metode kuantitatif, pendekatan one group pretest-posttest desig. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik Sampling Jenuh yakni menggunakan sampel 15 anak kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan data dianalisis menggunakan paired samples test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ada perbedaan perkembangan fisik motorik antara sebelum perlakuan permainan estafet bola dengan setelah perlakuan permainan estafet bola. Perkembangan fisik mototrik anak setelah perlakuan permainan estafet bola lebih tinggi dari pada sebelumnya, ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil pre-test perkembangan fisik motorik 43,07 dan rata-rata hasil post-test perkembangan fisik motorik 70,73. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t berbantuan aplikasi SPSS 25 For Windows memperoleh nilai thitung 2,768 > ttabel 2160, artinya, Ho (Hipotesis Nol) ditolak dan Ha (Hipotesis Alternatif) diterima. Maka, dapat disimpulkan, bahwa terdapat pengaruh perlakuan permainan estafet bola terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik anak kelompok B di TK As-Sunnah Desa Jurang Jaler, Kecamatan Praya Tengah. Dengan demikian, guru dapat menerapkan permainan estafet bola sebagai alternatif dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran kepada anak kelompok B (usia 5-6 tahun) pada aspek kemampuan fisik motorik
Analgesic Activity Test Of Leunca Leaves (Solanum nigrum L.) Ethanol Extract With Randall Selitto Method
Abstract: Pain is a sensory and emotional experience related to tissue damage. This study aims to determine the analgesic effect of leunca leaf ethanol extract and determine the dose of leunca leaf ethanol extract that has the highest analgesic activity with the Randall Selitto method. Randall Selitto method has been widely used for the development of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Leunca leaf powder was extracted using maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. A total of 25 wistar male white rats were divided into 5 groups, namely positive control mefenamic acid 9 mg / 200 g BW, negative control CMC Na 1%, ethanol extract of leunca leaves doses of 5 mg / 200 g BW, 10 mg / 200 g BW and 20 mg / 200 g BW. The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA test, then LSD test was used to determine the differences between groups. The results showed that the extract doses of 5 mg / 200 g BW, 10 mg / 200 g BW, 20 mg / 200 g BW and positive control were significantly different from the negative control group. The extract dose of 20 mg / 200 g BB is comparable to the positive control, indicating that the extract dose of 20 mg / 200 g BB has the highest analgesic activity. Steroid and flavonoid compounds contained in leunca leaves are thought to have an effect as analgesics
Life-Long Learning Profile of Junior High School Students in Science Learning
Implementing life-long learning is vital to help students face rapid global development. Life-long learning is a principle in organizing education and a primary need for everyone to adapt to changing times. This study aims to analyze the application level of lifelong learning among SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi students, especially class VII students. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a sample of 28 students. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing five life-long learning indicators: complex thinking, information processing, effective communication, collaboration/cooperation, and habits of mind. The results showed that overall, the level of life-long learning application of students at SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi was still in the poor category, with an average score of 2.8 out of a 4.0 scale. Students obtained a high score (3.0) in the complex thinking indicator. In contrast, in other indicators, such as information processing (2.7), effective communication (2.6), collaboration/cooperation (2.8), and habits of mind (3.1), the scores obtained were still relatively low. The three indicators that obtained low scores, namely information processing, effective communication, and collaboration/cooperation, indicate that students still need further development in these skills. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that although some indicators show good results, there are also indicators that need to be improved to optimize the implementation of lifelong learning. Therefore, there is a need for further efforts in improving students' skills, especially in terms of information processing, effective communication, and collaboration, so that they can be better prepared to face the growing global challenges
Implementation of Independent Curriculum on Chemistry Learning Outcomes Phase E at Senior High School
This research is motivated by the Mid-Semester Summative Assessment (STS) value of chemistry phase E at State Senior High School 2 Sungai Limau of 62.60, and the correlation analysis of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum on the learning outcomes of chemistry phase E at State Senior High School 2 Sungai Limau has not been carried out. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the learning outcomes of chemistry phase E at State Senior High School 2 Sungai Limau. This research is a descriptive correlational study with a mixed-method research design of the concurrent triangulation type. The research instruments used were teacher interviews, teacher teaching module reviews, teacher questionnaires, student questionnaires, and End-of-Semester Summative Assessment (SAS) documents. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho correlation test. The correlation coefficient value (r) obtained from the data processing results was 0.339 (positive), and the sig. value was 0.021 < 0.05, so it was in the low category. The determination coefficient value was 11.5%. Meanwhile, the other 88.5% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study. This means that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at State Senior High School 2 Sungai Limau has a low and significant positive correlation/relationship with the results of learning chemistry phase E. If the Independent Curriculum is implemented properly, then the results of learning chemistry can increase. The chemistry teaching modules made by teachers have begun to apply the principle of Understanding by Design (UbD). However, the chemistry teaching modules must be completed, especially in the assessment section
Improving the Quality of Gembili Pickle (Dioscorea esculenta) Through Fermentation with Starter Culture Lactobacillus plantarum B1765
Gembili is a type of tuber that grows widely in Indonesia and has the potential to be developed into functional food, but its utilization has not been optimal. One of the efforts that can be made is the development of gembili as pickle, a synbiotic fermented product of gembili by a starter culture of Lactobacillus plantarum B1765, which has been known as a probiotic. This study examines the effect of fermentation duration on the growth of total lactic acid bacteria (LAB), pH value, Total Titratable Acidity (TTA), and organoleptic quality aspects. The gembili tubers were cut into sticks and fermented for 0, 2, 4, and 6 days, using Lactobacillus plantarum B1765 starter culture at 37℃. Total LAB was calculated by total plate count (TPC), pH by pH meter, TTA by acid-base titration, and organoleptic test using untrained panellists to assess the preference level using a hedonic scale. The results showed that total LAB increased from the beginning of fermentation (2.37 x 107 CFU/mL) to 1.15 x 108 CFU/mL fermentation 4 days but decreased to 1.01 x 105 CFU/mL at the end of fermentation (6 days). The pH decreased from 6.43 ± 0.02 to 3.07 ± 0.002, and TTA increased from 0.31 ± 0.010% to 0.53 ± 0.008% at the end of fermentation (6 days). Organoleptic test results showed that fermentation time affected the preference level for color, taste, aroma, and texture. The highest preference level of the four aspects was the product with a fermentation time of 4 days with a preference level in the very like category. The results of this study indicate that the optimal time of gembili pickle fermentation is 4 days based on the total amount of LAB (> 106 CFU/mL), TTA (> 0.20%), pH (3.4-4.3) has met SNI criteria and also shows the highest preference level in color, taste, aroma, and texture. Gembili pickles can be recommended to be developed as a safe synbiotic product
