    Pengolahan sampah merupakan merubah bentuk sampah berdasarkan karakteristik, komposisi, dan jumlah sampah. Pengolahan sampah plastik tidak hanya sebagai salah satu kegiatan untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah namun sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi risiko dan adaptasi dampak perubahan iklim. Desa Tanjung Kesuma merupakan salah satu desa yang termasuk dalam Proklim. Desa Tanjung Kesuma terpilih menjadi salah satu desa penyangga karena terletak disekitar Taman Nasional Way Kambas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Lampung Timur sebagai penanggung jawab Proklim. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk ceramah dan FGD yang diikuti sebanyak 30 peserta dengan metode ceramah. Kegitan dilakukan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu evaluasi awal, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi akhir. Metode pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi ecobrik diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam menangani sampah plastik karena ecobrick dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi barang yang memiliki nilai guna dan nilai jual

    Effect of Extraction Temperature of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer in Chloramphenicol Adsorption using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry Based on Diazotation Reaction

    Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic commonly used in aquaculture. The overuse of antibiotics poses a danger. CAP will precipitate, and the residue will accumulate in the human body, threatening human health. Efforts are made to make media to overcome the CAP problem, one of which is the manufacture of molecularly imprinted polymers. The characteristic of this polymer is a mould or template that is reacted during synthesis and then withdrawn in the extraction process to form a selective mould. One factor that affects extraction is temperature. This study aimed to determine the effect of extraction temperature on chloramphenicol adsorption. The polymerisation was carried out using the precipitation polymerization method, and extraction was done using the batch method. The test used diazotation-based Uv-Vis spectrophotometry. The temperatures used were 60,70 and 80℃, which resulted in extraction percentages of 75.64%, 89.63% and 74.08%, respectively. For the adsorption process, the concentration variation for each MIP was 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm. Higher concentrations resulted in more adsorption, but the 100 ppm concentration decreased. The test showed that temperature affected the extraction and CAP adsorption results. Polymer characterisation was carried out with FTIR Polymer NIP results showing the presence of NO2 groups characteristic of CAP found at wave numbers 1536 cm-1 and 1322 cm-1. In MIP, there is an Imprinting Factor (IF). The IF value obtained is more than 1, so it can be said that the moulding results are good

    Toxicity and Apoptosis Test of 96% Ethanol Extract of Agelas Cavernosa on Vero Cells

    Agelas cavernosa sponge is a sponge from the Demospongiae class which includes 90% of all types of sponges. Agelas cavernosa sponge is known to have antibacterial activity. Research data on the toxicity and apoptosis test of Agelas cavernosa sponge on vero cells as far as researchers know has not been tested. The purpose of this study was to determine the toxicity and apoptosis of Agelas cavernosa ethanol extract. The research method was carried out using the MTT Assay method for toxicity testing and the flowsitometry method for apoptosis testing. Alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, terpenoids, and polyphenols were all detected in the Agelas cavernosa ethanol extract, according to the results of phytochemical screening. The apoptosis test yielded vero cell viability of 82.2%, whereas the toxicity test yielded an LC50 value for vero cells of 197.84 ppm

    The Effect of The Solvent-To-Leaf Ratio in The Extraction Process of Moringa leaves on Erythrocyte and Lecocyte of Tilapia

    Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a freshwater aquaculture fish that has a fairly high economic value among the Indonesian people. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the ratio between the number of moringa leaves and the extracting solution in the extraction process on total lekocytes and total erythrocyte of tilapia. The research was designed in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely the comparison of the number of moringa leaves and water solvents. The treatments are control (A), without extract), moringa leaves 5 gr + 10 ml solvent (B), moringa leaves 40 gr + 10 ml solvent (C), moringa leaves 70 gr + 10 ml solvent (D), and moringa leaves 100 gr + 10 ml solvent (E). Each solution was added to the feed as much as 50 ml / 30 grams and given to the fish for 16 days. Erythrocytes and leukocytes were counted on day 0, day 1, day 2, day 3, day 7 and day 16. The results showed that the addition of moringa leaf extract solution in feed affect (P<0.05) the total erythrocytes and total leukocytes in the first day until the 16th day of administration. The best observation results were shown in the addition of 5 g moringa leaf extract solution dissolved with 10 ml of water

    Relationship Between Age, Coffee Consumption and Smoking with The Incidence of Gastro Esophageal Reflex Disease (GERD)

    One of the most prevalent illnesses in the world is gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. In addition to sleep patterns, eating habits, such as the amount and timing of meals, as well as the acidity of food, can also lead to GERD. The purpose of this study is to investigate how smoking, coffee intake, and age relate to the prevalence of GERD in the province of NTB, particularly in West Lombok Regency. This study used a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional study design. The Chi Square test was employed for statistical analysis after univariate and bivariate data analysis. The results showed that 52% of respondents were women and 48% of respondents were men. 67% of respondents claimed not to have GERD, while 33% reported having it. There is a substantial correlation between age, coffee consumption, and smoking and the occurrence of GERD at Patut Patuh Patju Hospital in West Lombok. The Patut Patuh Patju Hospital in West Lombok has concluded that smoking, coffee use, and age are associated with GERD

    Saung Cave characteristics at Pengembur Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok, as a bats (Chiroptera) Habitat

    The Saung Cave is located in Pengembur Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok, and serves as a natural habitat for bats. This study aims to determine the characteristics of Saung Cave as a habitat for bats (Chiroptera), which includes the cave's dimensions, environmental conditions, surrounding vegetation, guano thickness, and other wildlife present in the cave. The methods used in this research involve observation, measurement, and field recording to assess the characteristics of Saung Cave as a bat habitat. The results indicate that the cave dimensions are 11.2 m wide, 13.2 m high, and 64.13 m deep. Saung Cave has a daily temperature ranging from 25.5ºC, humidity of 59.7%, and light intensity of 95 lx. The surrounding vegetation includes large-leaved mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), small-leaved mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni), and gamal (Gliricidia sepium). Other wildlife found in the cave includes house centipedes (Scutigera coleoptrata), barn owls (Tyto alba), Nusa Tenggara rat snakes (Coelognathus subradiatus), curved-toed geckos (Cyrtodactylus marmoratus), and brown recluse spiders (Loxosceles reclusa).     Inventory of Medicinal Plants at the Toraut location Bogani Nani Wartabone National ParkArea

    Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park (BNWNP) is the largest land national park area in Sulawesi. There are so many potential medicinal plants found in this area, but data regarding medicinal plants is still very minimal. Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out identification activities related to medicinal plants in the BNWNP area. This research aims to find out what types of medicinal plants exist, how they are known and used by the community, and how medicinal plants are distributed in the research location. This research was carried out at the Toraut location in the BNWNP area. This research is exploratory research where primary data was taken by direct survey and secondary data was obtained through interviews and literature study. The research results showed that there were 13 types of plants from 11 families. The parts of plants that have medicinal properties that have been used by local communities in the toraut location for generations include bark, stems, leaves, flowers, fruit, roots and sap. The most used part is the bark. Medicinal plants scattered in the Toraut BNWNP location are then clustered into 4 quadrants with the largest/dominant distribution in quadrants 2 and 3, namely in the north and east

    The productivity of laying hens in NTB is still very low, especially on the island of Lombok. The low egg production in Lombok is caused by farmers in Lombok generally raising laying hens not following the standards recommended by feed and seed producers. Each feed producer sells its products at varying prices to attract farmers. The varying prices are determined by the formulation of each feed, Laying hens are very sensitive to changes in feed quality, The type of laying hen feed affects the quality, quantity and productivity of eggs. This study aims to obtain information on the level of productivity and quality of eggs from the use of each commercial concentrate circulating in the Lombok market. This study used a Completely Randomized Design with three treatments, namely: First treatment: Mixture of concentrate pattern with code C Second treatment: Mixture of concentrate pattern with code K Third treatment: Mixture of concentrate pattern with code S. The total number of chickens used in this study was 360 chickens that were 19 weeks old with an average body weight of 1,700 grams consisting of 3 treatments and 4 replications. Each treatment consisted of 120 chickens and each replication consisted of 30 chickens. The data obtained were analyzed by Analysis of Variance using Microsoft Excel software and then processed again with the Duncan's test. Feed productivity with code C: 82.75 ± 1.31. k: 88.33 ± 3.73. S: 83.13 ± 0.91. The internal and external quality of the three treatments did not produce significantly different results. The use of concentrate with code K provided the highest productivity, resulting in greater Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). While the external and internal quality of eggs obtained in this study obtained results that were not significantly different

    The Effect of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) Banana on The Growth and Yield of Purple String Bean (Vigna Unguiculata. L.)

    The utilization of organic waste as a base material for liquid fertilizer production is gaining popularity due to its environmental friendliness and potential to enhance crop productivity. Banana waste is one type of organic material that can be processed into liquid fertilizer containing nutrients beneficial for plant growth. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) derived from banana waste on the growth and yield of long bean (Vigna unguiculata). The experiment was conducted at UG Technopark, Jamali Village, Cianjur, West Java, from March to June 2024, using a Completely Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely the concentration of banana POC, consisting of four levels: 0 ml/L (P0), 10 ml/L (P1), 20 ml/L (P2), and 30 ml/L (P3). The observed parameters included the number of leaves, stem diameter, plant height, pod fresh weight, pod length, number of pods, and flowering age. The results showed that the application of banana LOF significantly affected the growth and yield of long beans, particularly the number of leaves, stem diameter, plant height, and number of pods. Increasing the concentration of banana LOF positively impacted the observed growth and yield parameters

    The Production Forest area Surrounding Badaro Village, Modayag District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, and the Non-Timber forest Products that the Local Population Uses

    Forest products are used by the communities that surround forest regions to meet their basic requirements. Finding out what kinds of non-timber forest products the people in the Production Forest Area near Badaro Village, Modayag District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, use is the goal of this study. The survey method or direct observation combined with interview-based data gathering techniques is the methodology employed in this study. Non-timber forest products with economic value are used by the locals in the Modayag District of East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, which includes Badaro Village. The four categories of non-timber forest products are as follows: First, ornamental plant groups, which include ferns, fan palms, and vegetables. Fruit groups like Amok/Sukun come in second. Third are plant groupings like aromatic pandan rice leaves and animal groups like red jungle fowls. It is possible to get this conclusion from the discussion and results description. It is intended that the government, academics, environmental observers, and the community will all be able to raise awareness of the value of using sustainable forest products at all societal levels, particularly for those who live and rely on them
