    PENGARUH Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI Pada Materi Laju Reaksi

    This research aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of reaction rate material in class XI students at SMAN 1 Lingsar. The type of research employed is a quasi-experiment, specifically a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study consisted of all the students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Lingsar, totaling 143 students divided into 4 classes. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The samples in this study were class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 3 as the control class. The experimental class employs a problem-based learning model, while the control class utilizes a conventional learning model. The student learning outcomes were focused on the reaction rate material in the cognitive domain. The data analysis test used in this study is the t-test Gain. The gain in the experimental class (0.47) was greater than the gain in the control class (0.28). The analysis results showed that tcount (3.45) > ttable (2.03) at the 5% significance level, indicating a positive and significant effect of the problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of reaction rate material for class XI students at SMAN 1 Lingsar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar materi laju reaksi pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Lingsar. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional. Hasil belajar siswa difokuskan pada materi laju reaksi dalam ranah kognitif. Uji analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Gain uji-t. Gain kelas eksperimen (0.47) > gain kelas kontrol (0.28). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa thitung (3.45) > ttabel (2.03) pada taraf signifikansi 5% menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar materi laju reaksi pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Lingsar yang positif dan signifikan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidak metode ice breaking untuk peningkatan perkembangan kognitif pada anak kelompok B di TK Hijraturrasul. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan jenis one group petest-poesttest. Subjek penelitian ini 12 orang anak kelompok B di TK Hijraturrasul. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t test. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan hasil thitung > ttabel yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian treatment. Maka ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternaif (Ha) diterima, yang mana dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode ice breaking efektif terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B di TK Hijraturrasul

    Analisys of Lead Content in Rice Snail from Taliwang Lake

    The aim of the study was to determine the content of Lead (Pb) in the Rice Field Snail (Pila ampullacea) from Taliwang Lake. The special benefit is to protect consumers who consume Snail from Pb contaminant. The research was conducted in water body of Taliwang Lake. The Eastern and western parts of the lake were taken to be 2 research stations. Small nets and tweezers are used to sample 20 snails for each station. Furthermore, each snail sample was put into a plastic bag and then stored in a sample box. The research sample was then analyzed at the Environmental Laboratory Center for the West Nusa Tenggara Environment and Forestry Office. The method of data analysis was carried out by taking muscle tissue from snails and then analyzing the content of Pb heavy metals by using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Lead concentrations in snail tissue were measured after adding concentrated Na2SO4 and CuSO4, which were heated at 350ºC for 2-3 hours until the solution was clear. The conclusion of this study is that the content of Pb in Rice field snails (Pila ampullacea) was 0.01 ppm.

    The Potential of Gelam (Melaleuca leucadendra) Bark Extract as an Antibacterial Agent Against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus faecalis

    This study aims to evaluate the antibacterial activity of Melaleuca leucadendra (Gelam) bark extract against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus faecalis. Bark samples were collected from Karimunting Village, Bengkayang Regency, and extracted using maceration with 96% ethanol. Antibacterial testing was conducted using the disc diffusion method on MHA (Mueller Hinton Agar), with bacterial suspensions adjusted to McFarland standard 1. The results showed that the extract exhibited concentration-dependent antibacterial activity. The highest inhibition zones were observed at a concentration of 200 mg/mL, measuring 4.5 mm for P. aeruginosa and 3.5 mm for E. faecalis. Although the inhibitory effect was relatively low compared to the positive control (amoksilin), these findings indicate the potential of Gelam bark extract as a natural antibacterial agent. Further studies are recommended to isolate active compounds, assess toxicity, and develop formulations to enhance its antibacterial efficacy

    The Characteristics of Megagastropod Abundance in the Seagrass Beds of Malahing Village, Bontang City, East Kalimantan

    Megagastropoda are well associated with seagrass ecosystems. Megagastropoda play a role in the food chain in seagrass beds as detritus eaters. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between megagastropoda abundance and seagrass density in the seagrass beds of Malahing Village, Bontang City, East Kalimantan. This study was conducted from October 2024 to February 2025. The sampling stations consisted of 4 stations and each station consisted of 3 sub-stations. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. Megagastropoda and seagrass stand sampling used a 50x50 cm square frame. Water parameter measurements were carried out in situ and ex situ and basic substrate sampling used a corer. Megagastropoda data analysis included abundance, relative abundance of species, diversity index, uniformity and dominance. Seagrass data analysis included density and relative density of species. The relationship between megagastropoda abundance and seagrass density used a Pearson's Product Moment correlation test. Megastropoda found as many as 14 species of megagastropoda namely Strombus urceus, Cypraea tigris, Trochus maculatus, Cymbiola innexa, Nassaridus dorsatus, Polinices tumidus, Rhinoclavis vertagus, Natica vitellus, Vasum turbellinus, Scaphander watsoni, Astralium calcar, Conus sp., Cypraea cervinetta, and Strombus gibberulus, and 2 species of seagrass were found namely Enhalus acoroides and Thalassia hemprichii.     Phytochemical Constituents, Nutritional Composition, and Pharmacological Potentials of Mangifera foetida: A Comprehensive Review

    Mangifera foetida, commonly referred to as bacang, is a tropical fruit tree of the Anacardiaceae family widely used in traditional medicine throughout Southeast Asia for a variety of therapeutic purposes. Recent scientific studies have validated many of these ethnomedicinal uses by uncovering a diverse phytochemical composition alongside notable pharmacological activities. This review synthesizes current knowledge on the nutritional content, bioactive compounds, and pharmacological effects of M. foetida, with particular focus on its antioxidant, antimicrobial, cytotoxic, antidiabetic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Key secondary metabolites, including mangiferin, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and essential oils, are believed to underpin its therapeutic efficacy. Moreover, the fruit and other plant parts provide considerable nutritional benefits, supplying essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. Despite these promising findings, further investigations are needed to clarify underlying mechanisms, improve extraction techniques, and evaluate clinical effectiveness. This review seeks to establish a comprehensive reference to support future research and facilitate the development of M. foetida-derived nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals

    In Silico Evaluation of Typhonium flagelliforme Fatty Acids for Cdc25B Inhibition and Chemotherapy Synergistic Potential

    Typhonium flagelliforme exhibits cytotoxic activity against various cancer cell lines, including breast cancer. This study employed an in silico approach to evaluate the potential interaction or synergy between its fatty acid derivatives—2-octenoic acid and 2-hexenoic acid—and standard cytotoxic agents in breast cancer therapy. SwissTargetPrediction was used to identify the putative molecular targets of the compounds. Molecular docking was performed against phosphatase Cdc25B (PDB ID: 1CWR) using CB-Dock2, and pharmacokinetic properties were evaluated using SwissADME. Both 2-octenoic acid and 2-hexenoic acid were predicted to target Cdc25A and Cdc25B, which are key regulators of cell cycle progression. Molecular docking revealed binding affinities of −4.42 and −4.60 kcal/mol, respectively, compared to −5.97 kcal/mol for the native inhibitor NSC 663284. These compounds shared multiple key residues in the binding pocket, although they formed fewer hydrogen bonds. Pharmacokinetic predictions showed high gastrointestinal absorption, blood–brain barrier permeability, and no inhibition of major cytochrome P450 enzymes, suggesting minimal interaction with the metabolic pathways of standard chemotherapeutics. The results suggest that T. flagelliforme metabolites may not interfere with cytotoxic drug metabolism but could provide a synergistic effect by targeting cell cycle regulators

    Many things can cause acne, including stress, fatty foods, inappropriate or unsuitable makeup, and pollution. Cosmetics made from plants are safer to use. Papaya skin and seeds (Carica papaya L.) have antibacterial properties in the form of alkaloids, tannins, steroids, saponins, and flavonoids. This study aims to determine the comparison of the antibacterial power of young papaya skin ethanol extract gel and young papaya seed ethanol extract gel against Cutibacterium acnes bacteria. The research method is experimental with various formulas consisting of F0 (0%), F1 (11%), F2 (12%), and F3 (13%). The results of the study obtained antibacterial gel preparations from the three concentrations showed that the organoleptic test of the young papaya fruit skin ethanol extract gel preparation was light brown, blackish brown, dark blackish brown. The homogeneity test was homogeneous. The pH test was 5.9, 6.5, 7.0, and the seed ethanol extract gel preparation was light brown, dark brown, thick dark brown. The homogeneity test was homogeneous. Test pH 5.0, 5.6, 5.5, 5.1. The conclusion of this study is that the antibacterial effectiveness of young papaya fruit skin ethanol extract gel is greater than young papaya fruit seed ethanol extract gel at a concentration of 13% against Cutibacterium acnes bacteria

    Distribution and Characteristics of Water Source in the Prospective Campus Area of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Pajangan, Bantul

    Water is a fundamental need for human and ecological sustainability. However, rapid land conversion and insufficient conservation efforts pose serious threats to water availability, particularly in karst-dominated areas like Guwosari, Pajangan, and Bantul, where UIN Sunan Kalijaga plans to construct a new campus. This study aims to map and assess the area's distribution and quality of water sources to ensure sustainable use for future campus development. Six water source stations were identified and analyzed for physical (TDS), chemical (pH), and microbiological (E. coli and total coliform) parameters. The findings show that all stations had acceptable TDS and pH levels for domestic use. Yet, none met the microbiological standards for hygiene and sanitation, as total coliform and E. coli levels exceeded permissible limits. Vegetation analysis revealed the presence of key water-retaining species, such as coconut, bamboo, teak, mahogany, and Ficus septica, which play crucial ecological roles in groundwater conservation. The study highlights the importance of water quality monitoring and vegetation management in campus infrastructure planning. Effective water treatment strategies are recommended to improve microbial quality before human consumption or domestic application

    The Effect of Substrate on The Growth and Survival of Abalone (Haliotis squmata) Recirculation System

    Abalone (Haliotis squamata) is a high-value economic commodity that has great potential for cultivation, but selecting the right substrate is a key factor in increasing cultivation productivity because it affects the level of attachment, feeding activity, growth, and survival in a recirculation system The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the right substrate in supporting the growth and survival of abalone (Haliotis squamata).This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 substrate treatments (coral, gravel, sand, coral + sand, gravel + sand) with 3 replications. A total of 20 abalone seeds measuring 1.5-2.5 cm were reared for 60 days. The parameters observed included absolute length growth, absolute weight, specific growth rate (SGR), and survival rate (SR) measured every 15 days. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and a follow-up LSD test. The parameters observed included shell length increase, absolute weight, specific growth rate, survival rate, and water quality. The results showed that the coral reef substrate supported a growth rate of 0.94% per day with an 83% survival rate, while the sand substrate showed a growth rate of 0.59% per day with a 57% survival rate. It was concluded that the best treatment on the coral reef substrate
