Utilizing Compact 4G LTE Mobile Stations to Enhance Network Coverage in Rural Low-Signal Areas
Get PDFA bad spot is an area where signal quality fails to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards, due to factors such as limited channel capacity, BTS malfunctions, long distances from the BTS, or topographical interference. This study investigates a 4G LTE bad spot case in the rural area of Romanglasa Subdistrict where RSRP levels range from -100 dBm to -120 dBm. Although several e-nodeBs are present around the area, physical obstructions like trees and buildings continue to degrade signal quality. The objective of this study is to effectively implement a Compact Mobile Station (COMBAT), analyze the installation process, and evaluate the network's performance after deployment. The methods used include drive testing, BTS site surveys, simulations, and network design. The installation was carried out in collaboration with Telkomsel using Combat-571 as the cell ID. Following deployment, network quality measurements and post-drive testing were conducted. The results showed significant improvements: download throughput reached 47.6 Mbps, upload 28.4 Mbps, jitter decreased to 7 ms, packet loss dropped to 0%, and latency was reduced to 21 ms. Post-installation RSRP also improved to between -80 dBm and -100 dBm, categorized as good to fair according to KPI standards
Pendekatan Design Thinking untuk Meningkatkan Pengalaman Pelanggan pada Usulan Sistem Bisnis Kuliner Warmindo berbasis Digital
Get PDFIn the digital era, information systems play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across various sectors, including the culinary industry. This research aims to develop digital solutions for Warmindo (Warung Makan Indomie), a popular culinary business model in Indonesia. Using a Design Thinking approach, this study identifies the main issues in Warmindo services, such as long queues, order entry errors, and limited payment methods. The proposed solution is a web-based or mobile app ordering system that integrates a digital menu, an automatic queue system, and electronic payment methods. The implementation of this information system is expected to improve Warmindo's operational efficiency and provide a better customer experience. The trial results show that this solution successfully reduces wait times, improves order accuracy, and enhances customer satisfaction. This study underscores the importance of digitalization in the culinary business as a strategy to adapt to the increasingly dynamic market demands

No full textOptimizing workover operations in the oil and gas industry poses significant challenges in balancing resource efficiency and execution time. Previous studies explored lean manufacturing as a strategy to cut waste and the assignment method as a tool to optimize resource allocation. However, few have combined both approaches within the context of workover operations. This study addresses that gap by analyzing how lean manufacturing and the assignment method can work together to improve efficiency in the workover of Well MN-0153 at the Minagish Field, West Kuwait.The research uses a quantitative approach, focusing on operational data analysis and resource optimization. Data came from field observations, document reviews, and interviews with operational personnel. The integration model was built through Lean-based waste analysis and optimized resource allocation using the Assignment Method. Results indicate that combining the two methods shortens work duration and improves both equipment and workforce utilization.This study contributes an optimization model that enhances productivity and reduces operational expenses in workover projects. It also offers practical recommendations for the oil and gas industry to streamline work processes through a more systematic and efficient approach. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah adanya los dan lapak yang didesain secara permanen. Pasar seharusnya dapat dirancang secara fleksibel seperti pada masa lalu. Desain pasar dimasa lalu merupakan Agora atau Tempat Bersua yang merupakan tempat paling fleksibel. Agora atau Tempat Bersua dapat dipakai untuk kegiatan lain seperti hiburan di hari sabtu dan kampanye di hari minggu. Desain pasar seharusnya dirancang agar dapat dipakai untuk kegiatan lainnya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari Pedoman rancang atau kriteria rancang dari Pasar yang fleksibel. Metode untuk mencari kriteria perancangan pasar yang fleksibel adalah kerangka kerja berbasis konsep. Penggunaan kerangka ini hanya dibatasi dari proses pencarian data dan fakta, hipotesis dan Pemurnian. Secara garis besar, proses pencarian data dan fakta adalah untuk mencari tahu kondisi yang ada pada pasar. Proses ini dibantu dengan metode survei dan observasi. Selanjutnya, hipotesis dan pemurnian adalah untuk mencari kriteria perancangan dari pasar yang akan dirancang. Proses ini dibantu dengan metode sintesis data yang ada. Hasil dari kerangka kerja ini berupa kriteria perancangan dari sebuah pasar yang memiliki resiliensi dan fleksibilitas terhadap perubahan yang akan terjadi di masa depan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini secara teoritik adalah terciptanya kriteria baru untuk perancangan tipologi pasar. Sedangkan secara praktis, kriteria ini dapat dipakai untuk merancang pasar kedepannya

Metode studi ini menggunakan analisis visual untuk menilai elemen bentuk, komposisi, dan hubungan antara desain dan fungsi ruang. Berdasarkan penelitian, penerapan bentuk ekspresif terbukti mampu menciptakan daya tarik visual yang kuat, meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung dalam menikmati karya seni, serta memperkuat citra kawasan sebagai pusat aktivitas seni di Ponorogo. Perancangan Sistem Database Kinerja Penelitian Menggunakan Excel Macro di LP2M Politeknik Jambi
Get PDFThe Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M) of Politeknik Jambi is responsible for managing the research performance of lecturers and students. The manual data management process often leads to delays in report preparation, reduced data accuracy, and difficulties in analysis. This study designs a research performance management system using Excel Macro as a simple and lightweight solution that does not require complex database software. The method consists of requirement analysis, data structure design, development of automated input forms, and macro modules for validation, recapitulation, and report generation. The implementation results show that the system can automatically generate performance reports, accelerate the recapitulation process by up to 60%, and reduce data entry errors. The novelty of this research lies in the use of Excel Macro as an alternative tool for managing research performance in higher education institutions, where such systems are typically built using web-based applications or dedicated database platforms. This system proves to be more efficient and user-friendly, thereby improving the effectiveness of research performance management at LP2M Politeknik Jambi
Prediksi Kebutuhan Barang dengan Metode Moving Average pada Sistem Informasi Persediaan
Get PDFDalam persaingan bisnis yang ketat, informasi teknologi penting untuk efisiensi operasional. Sistem informasi manajemen persediaan membantu mengatur stok dan mendukung keputusan berdasarkan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem manajemen informasi persediaan barang di TB. Sony Baja dengan metode peramalan moving average guna meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan keteraturan pengelolaan stok, serta mendukung keberlangsungan bisnis perusahaan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi Pustaka. Data penjualan selama sembilan bulan terakhir dimanfaatkan sebagai dasar dalam proses peramalan. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode air terjun dengan pemodelan UML, serta dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mengelola stok secara real-time , memprediksi kebutuhan barang, dan menghasilkan laporan yang akurat. Penerapan metode moving average memberikan hasil peramalan yang cukup akurat, seperti pada produk C75 (0,75) dengan nilai MAD sebesar 4,3125, MSE sebesar 21,15625, dan MAPE sebesar 3,548302363. Nilai-nilai tersebut mencerminkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam pengadaan barang. Low Voltage Network Reconfiguration at PLN ULP Rungkut as Load Optimization using the Ant Colony Optimization Method

Rungkut Customer Service Unit - The high load density and the length of the mangrove feeders, which are quite long, have caused several buses toward the end of the network to experience a voltage drop of 0.9421208 p.u. Therefore, it is necessary to reconfigure the network to overcome and improve the existing voltage conditions as well as optimize the loading on the feeders so that they can be evenly distributed. A comparative evaluation of the calculation of the ant chromosomes used is needed to ensure the disconnection point in reconfiguring the network. An ant colony optimization analysis on this mangrove feeder was simulated using ETAP software. The results of this drop voltage improvement analysis could be used to reconfigure the low-voltage network of mangrove feeders to 0.9933478 p.u. Consequently, it could be precise, reliable, and good at PLN Ltd. ULP Rungkut and obtain load optimization on mangrove feeders

No full textOccupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) is a labor protection system in preventing and minimizing the risk of material and non-material losses, so that it can support effective and efficient performance improvement. In accordance with PP No. 50 of 2012, one way to prevent work accidents is through the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3). In implementing SMK3, every company is required to carry out five things, namely determining K3 policies, K3 planning, implementing K3 plans, monitoring and evaluating K3 performance, and reviewing and improving SMK3 performance. Research at PT. Spindo, Tbk., is intended to assess the company's readiness to implement SMK3 in the technical aspect according to the standards of Government Regulation 50 of 2012. While the study on the technical aspect was carried out using the SMK3 audit checklist according to the standards of Government Regulation 50 of 2012. The results of the study concluded that in the technical aspect, the company's readiness in implementing SMK3 according to the standards of PP 50 of 2012 achieved a value of 72.8%, or is in the category of good implementation level

Get PDFKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi BUMDes Barokah Rezeki Mandiri di Desa Kedungcangkring, Sidoarjo, yang mengalami penurunan omset dan kinerja pasca pandemi. Permasalahan utama terletak pada kurangnya sistem laporan keuangan yang transparan, proses bisnis yang tidak efisien, serta minimnya pemanfaatan digital marketing. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, pelatihan teknis, serta pendampingan langsung terhadap manajemen BUMDes. Solusi yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan sesuai standar UMKM, implementasi Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), penyusunan struktur organisasi dan pembagian job description untuk 18 karyawan, serta pelatihan digital marketing berbasis media sosial. Pendampingan forecasting bisnis dengan metode moving average menunjukkan potensi pendapatan harian sebesar 2–5 juta rupiah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas operasional, peningkatan pemahaman pengurus terhadap sistem keuangan, serta perbaikan struktur kerja dan promosi usaha. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan integrasi pendekatan manajerial, keuangan, dan digitalisasi dapat mengakselerasi kemandirian BUMDes berbasis potensi lokal
