The Rat Race among Fans: Tracing the Token of Love
The K-pop industry has grown even larger since merchandising came into the picture and has become an indispensable part of the industry. Across the board, fans came to a consensus about showing love and support for their idols through streaming music and purchasing merchandise. Thus, K-pop industries successfully monetize their fans through various merchandise worldwide. Despite the fact that merchandising might just be another marketing tool to alleviate the business, it has different significance for fans. By tracing fans’ roots of affection, this study tried to explore factors that predominantly drive the fans to buy and use idol goods (merchandise). Using a quantitative method with a snowballing approach as its sample, questionnaires were disseminated through various local Indonesian fandoms. The results showed that despite having limited monthly personal spending, fans still managed to collect a handful number of merchandise regardless of the cost. The study also revealed that fans were driven to use and/or buy merchandise as (1) a tool to socialize as well as self-representation within society; (2) a close representation of their idol; and (3) a way to show their affection toward their idols, which in return creating a sense of closeness toward their idol

The Exploring Credibility Challenges of Malaysian Online News Portals
This study was meant to explore the students' perception of the credibility of Malaysian online news portals using the method of in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD). The results of the study reveal that the proliferation of technologies such as social media and internet accessibility has greatly facilitated university students' access to online news portals. Individuals are seeking up-to-date information more than ever, due to the convenience of technology. Mainstream, alternative, and independent news portals each have distinct impacts on students. Key factors contributing to these credibility issues include information-seeking behaviour, convenience, confirmation bias, and social interaction. Perceptions of credibility vary depending on the type of news portal in the eyes of university students which could be driven by ideology, prejudice, and bias. However, convenience and credibility theme explain why online news portals are often criticized for their lack of credibility in the eyes of university students. Many students perceive clickbait headlines as a major issue with Malaysian online news portals, often finding discrepancies between headlines and the actual content of articles. Incomplete information and journalists' reluctance to address sensitive issues are also significant concerns for students when selecting online news portals. Bias and credibility issues on online news portals often manifest in political and racial controversies. Students also mentioned the 3R issues during the interviews. Despite these concerns, online news portals remain the primary source of information for university students. Overall, the credibility issues have eroded students' confidence in the reliability of online news
Green Intellectual Capital and Environmental Management Accounting : How Does It Influence Environmental Performance ?
Environmental Management Accounting (EMA) supports environmental and green resources management strategies. EMA can facilitate environmental actions from organizations or companies to create superior performance by aligning actions or behavior with the goals and values the organization or company wants to achieve. By aligning environmental resources and using an appropriate management accounting system, it is hoped to facilitate the management of green resources and support the achievement of strategic goals, resulting in increased sustainability performance. The hypothesis in this theoretical model is that the Environmental Management Accounting mechanism can help businesses coordinate, measure, and manage better, namely displaying GIC elements, green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital, which can improve Environmental Performance. Consequently, this study is inspired by resource orchestration theory and presents a new approach, natural resource orchestration. The purpose of this study to investigate how business rely on EMA to interpret GIC into Environmental Performance. A sample of forty firms was obtained, based on the data collected from the Annual Reports and Sustainability Reports of companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and following PROPER working in the energy industry. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS version 20) was used to test the model theoretically and used path analysis. These results bolster the idea that EMA mediates the relationship between GIC and environmental performance
