Keeping in view the current scenario the researcher intends to explore and evaluate the role of sports participation in controlling delinquent behavior among the college students. For the purpose few objectives were formulated for the study, i.e., to examine the involvement of athletes and non-athletes in delinquent behavior at college level, and to examine the mean difference in terms of demographic attributes between respondents regarding their involvement in delinquent behavior. Furthermore, few hypotheses were formulated for the study in hand, i.e. Athlete’s involvements in aggressive delinquency (Verbal Abusing, Teasing, Threatening and insulting) will be found a lesser amount than non-athletes, athlete’s involvements in violent delinquency (Carrying Weapon, Group Fighting, punching and destruction of property) will be found less than non-athletes, and athlete’s involvements in drugs adduction (Smoking, Alcohol, cocaine, tobacco, and snuff) will be found a smaller amount than non-athletes. A Likert Type Questionnaire was used to collect the data from sample. Samples of 720 college students were conveniently selected from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pakistan. It was concluded that sports and other recreational activities are considered as quite capable of bringing positive change in polishing and molding the individual behavior. The social delinquency like aggressive behavior, verbal abusing, teasing, threatening and insulting can be very effectively controlled through enhancement in sports participation among the youth. This study was carried out to find how stress affects the performance of male and female employees in the NGO sector in Pakistan. The authors have used a case study approach. The data was collected using in-depth interviews of the employees of Sungi foundation in district Abbottabad of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. Our results suggest that stress differentially impacts both male and female employees in the NGO sector in Pakistan. Although both males and females thought they experienced a drop in performance due to stress, the female employees felt they were affected more. This is due to their family responsibilities in addition to job duties. The study does not seek to generalize to all the other settings and the authors strongly suggest further studies to replicate the findings. The use of rigorous quantitative methodologies will lend more rigors to the results

The Impact of Human Capital on Economic Growth: Evidence from Selected Asian Countries
The aim of this paper is to find out the role of human capital in economic growth of selected Asian countries namely Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It is based on time series data for the period 19712013. Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and Cointegration have been used as analytical techniques for this purpose. The results obtained through Ordinary least Squares show that human capital in form of education affects economic growth in all selected countries except India. The relationship is positive and statistically significant. Moreover, physical capital is another significant determinant of economic growth in the study area. When education is replaced by health as human capital, the OLS results demonstrate a little change showing human capital a significant determinant of economic growth but physical capital in case of India becomes insignificant. In order to avoid the doubt of spurious regression, stationarity was checked by using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test and long-run relationship was analyzed by conducting Johansen Cointegration Test. The Cointegration test results confirmed the existence of long run relationship in human capital (education) and economic growth in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Moreover, there is long run association between human capital in form of health and economic growth in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. It is therefore concluded that human capital in form of health and education is an important determinant of GDP per capita in most of selected countries. It is, therefore suggested to focus on health and education to reap the economies of sustained economic growth

It includes all those strategies which account for are an ethical conduct and society friendly approach beneficial for the development of society. In addition to profit-maximization, the firm is also supposed to undertake activities which uplift the life of employees and the general public. In this regard, the conceptual framework of the current study shows that firms spend on awarding scholarships to needy students, health activities such as health awareness program, free medical camps, environmental protection awareness programs and sports activities. The conceptual framework alsohighlights that firms with large capital spend more on CSR activities owing to anincreased pressure of the government, public, media and other stakeholders. Based on the previous extant literature, it is also assumed that firms which earn higher profits spend more on CSR in the coming year/s that have positive impacts on their profitability. However, by following theoretical postulations, it is assumed the relationship between CSR and firms’ profitability may be endogenous.
