Full text linkTracer study implementation primarily aids institutions in their transformation into state universities capable of producing graduates who are adaptable to industrial needs. Universities can use the results of an accurate and structured tracer research as a benchmark for building excellent teaching curricula and education systems. ATI In terms of the preparation of the tracer study questionnaire instrument and technological data collecting, Padang Polytechnic optimizes the implementation of the tracer study. The BAN-PT accreditation assessment criteria and elements, as well as the key questions of the Directorate General of Belmawa, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education's tracer research, were used to create the questionnaire instrument. The collection of data is done in tandem with the building of a website. Identity, type of work, amount of time waiting for graduates to acquire a job, and information about their initial wage were all included in the surveys. According to the results of the alumni search from 2018 to 2020, ATI Padang Polytechnic graduates were absorbed at a rate of 73 percent. The next stage in improving the quality of education for future graduates is to strengthen foreign language proficiency, such as English and Mandarin, as well as soft skills

One potential development program is the decorative plant. During the pandemic covid 19, the demand for decoratives plants was high, but after the end of the pandemic declined, and the income of the farmers decreased. Because the types of decorative plants cultivated are seasonal, and their prices fluctuate. Orchids can be chosen for cultivation to make a stable price and the business of integration between the cultivation of honeybees with decorative plants. The purpose of the activity was to increase business continuity and income for decorative plant farmers in groups. Orchid cultivation training can increase the knowledge and skills of cultivating, caring for, and how to breed orchids. Beekeeping training can increase farmers' knowledge about how to propagate colonies, maintenance and care, and plant sources of bee food. Based on monitoring and evaluation, it seems clear that there are prospects for the sustainability of the ornamental plant and bee farming business, even though it has not increased income

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of the Sanrobone Collection sewing business group through non-formal education in the village of Sanrobone, Takalar district. Activity partners have technical and management problems. The method of implementing the activity is training with a participatory method, which involves partners directly and participates as much as possible in the training. The product output produced based on the activity plan is the mukenah or prayer veil. The training is carried out in stages. For the first stage, material is given about some of the errors that occur in making mukenah which cause discomfort when worn and how to overcome them. After that, it was given how to measure, then how to cut the cloth and finally how to sew so that it was neat. Management problems are carried out in the form of organizational assistance. This community service activity has been carried out and the partners enthusiastically participated in this activit

Waste bank is the right solution in overcoming the waste problem in society. The purpose of this article is to obtain the results of a situational analysis of waste banks as a method of waste management. The results of the analysis are expected to be a reference in the implementation of the waste bank program. The analysis is carried out by reviewing the results of research and community service separately. References are obtained from online libraries. The results of the review are used as material for analysis of the waste bank program. The results of the analysis are used as the basis for compiling recommendations for the implementation of related community service activities. The results of the analysis provide 5 recommendations for community service activities. Recommendations include socialization, communication, optimization assistance, and local government coordination

Full text linkThe people of the Misik Kalampangan area, which are located on peatlands, are not yet fully aware of the potential in their area. To turn this area into an agro-tourism, it is necessary to map the potential from the air using an aircraft (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle - UAV). This mapping process is also complemented by a direct observation survey in the Misik area with the aim of validating the results of visual interpretation of the resulting map product, so that the information conveyed on the map is in accordance with the conditions in the field. The product of this activity is a detailed scale photo map of the Misik area that can be used as the basis for land management planning in the Misik Kalampangan area. This activity was followed by the submission of photo map products which were attended by village officials and the community. Through this activity, the community is expected to be able to independently observe and update data on land cover changes and other phenomena that occur in the Misik area
The Benefits of Empon-Empon and Gembili Bulbs and Testing the Level of Likeability of Processed Products
No full textMost Indonesian people do not know the benefits of some local food ingredients, namely empon-empon and gembili tubers. Empon-empon contains antioxidants such as polyphenols, while gembili tubers contain inulin. Empon-empon can be processed into an instant powder product which is practical for consumption. Gembili tubers can be processed to be flour and then used it as cookies ingredient. This service activity is in the form of counseling on the benefits of empon-empon and gembili tubers, as well as how to process them. The activity partners are the management of Himatepa and HMPPI within UMBY and UPN "Veteran" East Java. Counseling activities was held on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 online via the zoom meeting platform. Methods for processing instant empon-empon powder and gembili cookies were shared via video on Friday, September 2nd, 2022. Tests for the level of preference for instant empon-empon powder and gembili cookies were carried out on Monday, September 5th, 2022 and Friday, September 9th, 2022. Standards sensory test scores are 1 = really dislike, 2 = don't like, 3 = like, 4 = prefer, 5 = like very much. The instant powdered empon-empon products of white turmeric, yellow turmeric, and gembili cookies were favored by the panelists with scores of 4.11, 4.17 and 4.09, respectively. These results provide a high potential for further dissemination to the community
Downstreaming of Cassava into Functional Foods Based on Analog Rice in Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta
No full textIndonesia is one of the countries with a high consumption of rice-based paddy, where rice has a high glycemic index. The Women Farmers Group (KWT Ngudi Makmur) in the Sukoharjo Village area, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta as a partner has started producing various local agricultural products such as bananas and cassava into flour. Based on observations, partners have an experienced of declined in production and sales as a result of the pandemic situation, and there is still a lack of diversification of food based on local ingredients due to difficulties in carrying out other innovations in food processing. This also increases the number of unemployed and reduces community empowerment. The mentoring step is carried out with the observation stage, providing counseling and training to all KWT members in making various healthy food preparations based on local agriculture, inviting partners to re-examine the production process and record the components of raw materials, tools, labor, packaging until they are ready for market. The production process flow is examined jointly by the service team and partners. The results obtained show that partners are able to apply each stage of making analog rice. In the meantime, a product sensory test has been carried out by KWT members and several members of the public and the product results are acceptable

Full text linkRumah autis Depok is a Social Welfare Institution that manages schools and therapy for children with special needs, especially for orphans and poor people. Learning during the pandemic is done through a home program. During learning at home, parents experience difficulties due to lack of knowledge and skills in educating children with special needs, so that learning becomes less effective. Changes in behavior occur in Children with Special Needs (ABK), for example being hyperactive or lack of motivation to learn. The spiritual approach is one of the learning methods for children with special needs that can be implemented to provide calm and reduce hyperactivity in children. Based on the analysis of the situation, the DKI Jakarta PKP Health and Technology Institute (IKTJ) provides community service through spiritual education activities for teachers and parents using educational games to meet the spiritual needs of children with special needs. The purpose of providing spiritual education to teachers and parents is to increase the knowledge and skills of parents in educating children to meet the spiritual needs of children with special needs. The method of carrying out activities is the lecture method and online discussion via zoom meet. Evaluation of activities was carried out using a questionnaire to participants. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in parents' knowledge about spiritual aspects. The output of the activity, namely the PKM activity video for spiritual education for children with special needs, has been uploaded to YouTube
Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Melalui Edukasi Ecoprint Yang Ramah Lingkungan Di Kecamatan Air Joman
Full text linkCommunity service for women of family welfare development, usually named women of PKK. In Air Joman district, Asahan, is planned to provide training on the use of plants through eco-print education (i.e., leaf prints on cloth), which are environmentally eco-friendly to improve their creativity and skills. The participants were taught to recognize plants that can be used in eco-print techniques and understand the process of scouring and mordanting. Furthermore, the other objective is that they will be able to make plant trace motifs in the form of leaves and flowers on cloth and make it have a higher selling value for fashion needs and supporters. This training activity was carried out in direct practice by participants in June and July 2022 in 3 groups of 10. The first meeting will be presented to all groups using the offline direct exposure method. An eco-print expert will handle the training. The second meeting to the seventh meeting will be such a kind of workshop activity. The participants will be grouped into three groups and practice the process. Training on the using plants through eco-friendly education in the Air Joman district has giving an impact of knowing more plants that can be use in eco-print, and also increase the ability to produce the higher value of eco-printing product

Full text linkBusiness competition is everywhere. Not only in production, but also in service. UD. Putra Azzam Service is a company engaged in computer service and installation. Partners always strive to provide the best service that their customers want and try to improve their competitiveness. From observations through a survey of partner owners, it was found that there were several customer complaints related to damage to goods after purchase or other problems that arose after service. The effect is a decrease in customers in February – April 2021. Servqual and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods can be used to find ways to improve service to partners. This community service activity is intended for that. Activities are carried out by observing the service process, obtaining customer complaint data and analyzing the results to determine recommendations for corrective actions. These recommendations are conveyed to partners in dissemination activities. Partners welcome the suggestions given
