    Counseling on Food Safety and Utilization of White Turmeric for Snack Bars at UMKM Amelia Bakery

    Indonesia has various types of empon-empon plants, one of which is white turmeric (Curcuma Mangga Val). This type of white turmeric contains curcuminoids and polyphenols which are useful as antioxidants. Utilization of these empon-empon as a daily snack will be very beneficial for health. However, the production of packaged food requires an understanding of food safety. The purpose of this community service is to conduct food safety education and apply white turmeric in the processing of snack bars. Implementation of safety counseling activities and processing of snack bars added with white turmeric at UMKM Amelia Bakery on October 26 2022, attended by employees. Snack bars with the addition of white turmeric powder were tested for preference at the UMBY Sensory Laboratory. The test sample is a snack bar sample with the addition of 5 g of white turmeric powder; 7.5g; and 10 g. UMKM Amelia Bakery employees understand food safety and the most preferred product is a snack bar with the addition of 5 g of white turmeric powder

    The purpose of this study is to: (1) Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Emphaty, (2) Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Reliability, and (3) Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Responsiveness. (4) Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Tangible and (5) Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Assurance. The number of sample used that were used is 130 responses, using the formula Hair et al. To Determine the effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on service performance Institut Bisnis and Informatika Kesatuan Bogor, the data analysis method used is SEMPLS. Data collection was carried out using SmartPLS 4.0. According to the study's results, the following information was obtained: (1) There is positive evidence that Intrapreneurship Karyawan is related to Emphaty. (2) There is a significant positive effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Reliability, (3) there is a significant positive effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Responsiveness, (4) there is a significant positive effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Tangible, (5) there is a significant positive effect of Employee Intrapreneurship on Assurance.     Trigger finger, also known as stenosing tenosynovitis, is a hand disorder generally caused by inflammation or narrowing of the flexor tendons that control finger movement. This disorder can result in difficulty in fully clenching or opening the fingers, as well as significant pain or discomfort. Education about trigger finger cases is an important approach in the management and prevention of this disease. Trigger finger case education involves an in-depth understanding of the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and available treatment options. Through education, individuals can understand the risk factors for jobs that involve excessive use of their hands or certain diseases that can increase their risk of developing trigger finger. This education can help people increase their knowledge about treatment to reduce the risk of this disease, such as stretching their hands regularly and using ergonomic techniques. The achievement of the final evaluation of community knowledge after counseling is from 8,1% to 100%. Trigger finger prevention process from the beginning was unknown to the target community. Education through the counseling process still needs to be carried out

    Moringa (Moringa Oleifera Lam.) is a functional food with high nutritional value that thrives and has long been domesticated by people in Balombong Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province. This activity aims to provide education, and introduce moringa-based processed products. The method of community service activities (PKM) uses training, and assistance related to the use of moringa plants as nutritious food. This activity was attended by 29 participants from among housewives and 5 students from the Universitas Sulawesi Barat (UNSULBAR). The PKM activities are carried out by disseminating the content of nutritional value, benefits for health, and introducing various moringa-based processed food products such as moringa meatballs, noodles, tea, pudding, chips, pukis, candies, and nuggets. Furthermore, involving all participants in processing one of the food products, namely moringa meatballs. Utilization of moringa can help people improve family health. In addition, processed moringa can be used as Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) products so that they can add to the economy of rural communities. The evaluation results showed that the community service activities carried out had a positive influence on the participants. This can be seen from the percentage value which reached 91.3% of the participants, expressed their strong agreement with the training activities carried out. Most of the participants also revealed that the PKM activities were able to improve the learning experiences and skills

    Kedung Baruk Village has various types of businesses occupied by local residents such as convection, grocery stores, culinary, and so on. As business develops, MSMEs in Kedung Baruk need a Business Identification Number (NIB) to fulfill the urgency of business legality. There are still many Kedung Baruk Village residents who do not understand NIB and its benefits. The purpose of this community service is to help Kedung Baruk residents get their business legalized by assisting MSME players to make NIB and explaining the benefits of having the NIB. The method in the assistance program for making NIB is to record MSMEs that do not yet have NIB, conduct socialization and assistance in making NIB for MSMEs, and submit physical NIB documents to MSME actors. There were positive results in this service activity, namely with this NIB socialization activity, MSMEs were educated about the urgency of the importance of legality in running a business. From the data obtained regarding the number of MSMEs in the Kedung Baruk Village, previously only 21 MSMEs had NIB, then an additional 15 MSMEs became 36 MSMEs

    SDN 17 Gurun Laweh is one of the schools located in Kampung Koto, Gurun Laweh Village, Nanggalo District, Padang City, does not yet have a school cafeteria, so students snack around the school. Many food vendors use motorbikes that sell around the school such as grilled meatballs, cireng and others. The school could not confirm the cleanliness and health of the snacks. The school's policy regarding snacks that students should not consume at school. The efforts that will be made are (1) To approach the school for cooperation in a healthy snack program for school students. (2) Reactivate the small doctor program. (3) Implementing the POPEYE program (PrOgram PEnyuluhan AYo Jajan SEhat) whose activities include providing education on what healthy snacks are and how to choose healthy snacks so that children can avoid disease. By using age-appropriate game media for school children and also reading fairy tales where we know children really like storytelling activities. So that children can understand the material taught and the achievements to be achieved can be achieved optimally. The targeted outputs are publication of articles in accredited national journals, publications in print and electronic media, increasing partner knowledge about healthy snacks

    Efforts to Reduce Stunting Incidents Through Strengthening Positive Parenting in the Family

    Stunting is a growth and development problem of child that caused by not fulfilling balanced of nutrition. One of the provinces with a high stunting prevalence rate is West Sulawesi Province (second highest in Indonesia). Therefore, various parties are trying to help deal with this problem, one of which is Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP-PKK) of Mamuju Regency, as well as being a partner in this service. One of the reasons for the high number of stunting cases in Mamuju Regency is the lack of knowledge about positive parenting in the family. This is closely related to inappropriate eating patterns so that the nutritional needs of pregnant women, babies, and toddlers are not properly met. The community service team with partners tries to provide a solution through this community stimulus partnership program (PKMS), namely by providing an educational program by trying to reduce the incidence of stunting through strengthening positive parenting in the family. The target audience consists of newly married mothers, pregnant women, mothers with babies and toddlers, BKB cadres and team of PKK in Mamuju Regency. The stages of activities include: coordination with partners, preparation, implementation of education, monitoring and evaluation, and final reporting. The results of the activity showed that participants' understanding of efforts to deal with stunting incidents through positive parenting in the family and improving eating patterns increased after receiving counseling materials, besides those participants felt satisfied and got direct benefits from the activities that had been implemented

    Application of Branding Through Product Photography To Develop Digital-Based MSMEs In Medokan Semampir, Surabaya

    Many MSMEs do not understand the importance of branding, especially those involving social media. MSME actors should start taking advantage of ongoing technological developments for product branding. Lack of understanding about the importance of digital branding is also compounded by the lack of ability to produce quality, eye-catching product photos for digital branding purposes. In digital branding, product photos are very important to show brand identification and be able to attract consumers. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out with the intention of helping Medokan Semampir UMKM actors carry out digital branding activities through product photography. Community service is carried out through counseling, training, and assistance in making product photos. The results of the product photos are used for digital branding on social media. It seems that product photography is still not easily accepted because there are several MSME actors who are not familiar with the technology of the world of photography. In terms of taking product photos, MSME actors still need the help of the millennial generation to determine the proportionality of a photo. However, each MSME itself has been able to assess the use of the background and properties that are suitable for their products

    Assistance in Making Business Legality or NIB for MSME Owners Through Online Single Submission (OSS) in Wonorejo Village

    Community service activities related to assisting in making business legality or Business Identification Number (NIB) are carried out for MSME owners in RW 07, Wonorejo Village. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the equity of ownership of business legality or NIB. The service implementation method is divided into four stages. The first stage of MSME observation was carried out through interviews with the Head of RW 07 to obtain MSME data that did not yet have an NIB. The second stage is the survey and data collection for MSMEs which is carried out online via the Google form by distributing questionnaires on the Whatshap of MSME owners. The third stage is MSME counseling about NIB to provide an understanding of the importance of business legality or NIB. The fourth stage is assistance in making business legality or NIB online through Online Single Submission (OSS). To make it easier for MSME owners to obtain the legality of their business, assistance is carried out by visiting the residence of each MSME that will be assisted. The results that have been achieved from this community service activity are (1) there is an increase in the understanding of MSME owners in RW 07, Wonorejo Village about the importance of a business legality or NIB and the many benefits that can be obtained by owning an NIB; (2) understanding of information related to the process of making NIB through OSS; and (3) even distribution of NIB ownership levels. It is known that the 4 assisted MSMEs already have NIB with the help of this community service activity
