Utilization of the M3 Board Teaching Tool (Mean, Median, Mode) for Middle School Students in the Campus Teaching Program Batch 5
SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City is one of the targets of the Campus Teaching Program Batch 5. This community service activity aims to demonstrate/utilize the M3 board teaching aid (Mean, Median, Mode) to 25 students of SMP Negeri 7 Bengkulu City, class VIII F. The method used is lectures and several group discussion activities. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' interest/motivation to learn numeracy by using the M3 board teaching aid (Mean, Median, Mode), as well as an increase in students' ability to solve questions related to the mean, median and mode. Thus, the use of M3 teaching aids (Mean, Median, Mode) is very important to be applied in the process of learning mathematics
Product Promotion with Digital Marketing as a Marketing Strategy for UMKM ChaCha Kitchen, Blitar City
Community Service through the KKN-T program aims to help develop the UMKM ChaCha Kitchen in Karangsari Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City. The problem that occurs with UMKM ChaCha Kitchen is a lack of understanding in promoting their products with digital marketing. The method used is by identifying problems, assisting product promotions with digital marketing as a marketing strategy, and organizing socialization related to digital marketing. The results of this activity are in the form of creating content on ChaCha Kitchen's Instagram social media account, creating a website as a marketing support, and teaching product photos for content needs. The website contains information related to the business profile and products of UMKM ChaCha Kitchen. Product promotion with digital marketing as a marketing strategy for UMKM ChaCha Kitchen is able to improve the quality of content publication so that it can increase product sales
Assistance in the Management of NIB Lao Coffee Producers "Sobo Balek" Giripurno Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City Through Online Single Submission (OSS)
Business legality is important to own by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), but currently, there are still not many MSME actors who realize the importance of having legality for their businesses. This has resulted in many MSME actors not having business legality, one of which is the Kopi Laos “Sobo Balek” MSME. Management of business legality such as NIB can be done online through Online Single Submission (OSS). This community service activity aims to assist MSMEs starting by introducing, increasing knowledge, and registering to have a NIB. The method used in this activity consisted of 3 stages, namely observation, outreach, and mentoring. Implementation of activities includes sharing with MSMEs, obtaining business licenses, and submitting NIB. The result of this activity is that MSME partners gain knowledge about the importance of business legality, and the benefits and advantages that come from business legality. In addition, the MSME also succeeded in obtaining business legality in the form of a NIB. The recommended recommendation is to have further guidance to get a PIRT for Kopi Laos
Processing and Application of Tarum Leaves into Indigo Powder for Yarn Dyeing in Amol Village, North Central Timor District
Processing and application of tarum leaves into indigo powder for woven threads dyeing has been carried out in the Weaver Women's Group of Amol Village, North Central Timor District. The less knowledge in producing indigo-colored woven fabrics and unavailable source of Indigo leaves during the dry season are the main reasons to conduct this program. This program was carried out in 4 main stages, namely socialization, demonstration of Indigo leaves processing into indigo powder, application in yarn dyeing and evaluation. This activity was able to increase the knowledge and skills of the Weaver group in processing Indigo leaves which are abundant in the rainy season into indigo powder which can be stored for use in the dry season. The resulted powder has been applied in the coloring of the woven yarn to produce an indigo blue color
Empowering Women in Using Spice Plants to Make Traditional Drinks in Sei Buluh Village Serdang Bedagai Regency
Sei Buluh Village consists of 10 hamlets with a population of 11,454 people (5,801 men and 5,653 women). Residential area 600 Ha, moorland 60 Ha. Around 82 percent of the land in Sei Buluh Village is designated as rice fields and fields. It can be concluded that the superior potential possessed by Sei Buluh Village is agriculture. In this case, problems were found in the utilization of agricultural and plantation products, while education and economic levels were still low. The solution to partner problems is to empower housewives by reviving home industries through processing spice plants. The impact is expected to be an increase in family income. This effort is also carried out for inheritance and economic improvement through empowering women, especially housewives. This is to achieve equal development that upholds the honor and dignity of a just nation. Methods for implementing activities include planning, organization, actualization and supervision. The implementation stages are: (1) survey and analysis of target groups by conducting site inspections; (2) identifying program needs by refining the concepts that have been formulated; (3) preparation of facilities and infrastructure; (4) implementing the program by providing socialization and practice of making traditional drinks; (5) evaluation. The results of the activity provide increased knowledge for housewives as target partners, regarding the use of agricultural products as traditional spice drinks, including digital technology-based packaging and marketing techniques
Besti (Stunting Free) Strategy Through Socialization of Fish Nutrition Education and Utilization of Yards for Green Vegetables in Maladummes Tanjung Kasuari Village, Sorong City
The stunting status in Southwest Papua has increased from 2021 to 2022. In 2021, stunting cases reached 26.3%, while in 2022 stunting cases rose 3.8% to 30%. Therefore, efforts to prevent, raise awareness and improve nutrition through increasing family income in the coastal areas of Sorong City need to be carried out. The implementation of stunting prevention outreach was carried out using a participatory approach, focused on discipleship cell groups (KSP), in RT.003/RW/004, Maladummes Tanjung Kasuari District, Sorong City. The aim of this activity is to increase parents' insight into choosing nutritious foods. The activities carried out were socialization of fish nutrition education, use of the yard for vegetable plants, knitting training, and continued provision of food. From the results of the knitting training, the participants felt that the training they received was very useful. Participants will make various types of knitting such as cellphone bags, handbags (various sizes), tablecloths and so on. These products will later be sold to increase family income
Efforts to Increase Local Community Income Through Seaweed Cultivation in Arareni Village Yapen Islands Regency
Papua has various kinds of potential marine natural resource wealth, both biological and non-biological natural wealth. The potential of these natural resources should be utilized to improve the community's economy. Utilization of the potential of marine resources is still far from expectations. One of the potential marine resources is seaweed. Seaweed has export potential, and its economic value is met from cultivation activities. The aim of this community partnership empowerment (PKM) activity is to increase the knowledge of small-scale seaweed farmers and implement pre-harvest seaweed cultivation practices in Arareni Village, Yapen Islands Regency. The approach used is the delivery of material through socialization related to cultivation practices, starting from the land preparation process, seeding, maintenance, calculating harvest time and yields, as well as group management. During the socialization there were also questions and answers and discussions. The success of the activity is evaluated through a pre-post test. The results show that the highest increase in knowledge was achieved in the cultivation process material (pre-test 47% and post-test 61%). Seaweed farmers know that the seed production age is 25-30 days, harvest after 30-45 days, seed weight 50-100 grams, maintenance takes 25-30 days, distance between ropes 100-200 cm, seeds must be 20-50 cm apart below the water surface and the yield size is 250 g/rope
Education on Early Detection of Knee Pain At Dungus Madiun Regional Hospital
Dungus Regional General Hospital is one of the public hospitals in the city of Madiun. Many patients who visit hospitals, especially physiotherapy clinics, are elderly people who are experiencing degenerative processes. The degenerative process is a decrease in physical function, one of which is musculoskeletal, such as knee pain. There are still many elderly people who do not know the signs and symptoms of knee pain and the right time for treatment. Based on this, education was carried out regarding early detection of pain in the knee. Counseling was presented using PowerPoint media, holding a question-and-answer session, and educating the elderly to seek treatment immediately if they experienced knee pain. The education process is going well, people are starting to understand the signs and symptoms of knee pain. By providing outreach to the public, it is hoped that it can increase the expansion of public knowledge about the signs and symptoms of knee pain, risk factors and early detection of knee pain
Simple Financial Report Recording Training for Snack Food MSMEs in Tunggara Village
MSMEs in Indonesia often face difficulties in implementing accounting practices because they think it is too complicated. Even so, MSME players still get profits but they are not measured accurately. The aim of this community service activity is to provide training in recording simple financial reports to MSMEs. The MSME sector chosen as a place for community service activities is two business actors in the snack food sector located in Tunggara Village, Banjarnegara Regency. The methods used in this competition are preparation, training and implementation. After carrying out the service, an evaluation is carried out by comparing the results before and after the activity. The activity was carried out for five days in August 2023. The final results of this service activity show that MSME players are able to record financial reports simply and can see the profits obtained more accurately each month
Empowering Coffee Farmers Through Training on Diversification of Processed Cinnamon Coffee Products and Android Application-Based Marketing at UMKM Rizki Amalia
The coffee business is booming along with the growth of coffee shops, both large and small scale. This fact makes the coffee market more competitive, so coffee producers need to innovate and diversify more varied coffee preparations. The purpose of this empowerment is to encourage partners to present products that are different from the products that have been produced so far. This activity develops liquid cinnamon processed coffee which is a diversification of Rizki Amalia's MSME ground coffee products. This cinnamon coffee making training is based on the problem of high competitiveness between ground coffee producers in Enrekang. Black ground coffee producers and sellers have been widely spread in Enrekang district so that better innovation is needed to increase the selling value of coffee products. The results of this training contributed new knowledge and skills for Rizki Amalia MSME players in processing black ground coffee products combined with ground cinnamon. This activity is expected to make Rizki Amalia MSME products have a higher selling value than before. In the future, assistance to Rizki Amalia MSMEs will continue to provide training on developing digital-based product marketing
