    UJI KETAHANAN MELADA TERHADAP CEKAMAN KEKERINGAN

    Pepper is one of the important commodities in Indonesia. The main obstacles In pepper cultivation is basal stem rot. It can be solved by grafting pepper plants on rootstock that is resistant to that disease. Melada plants (Piper colubrinum Link) are considered resistant to stem rot disease and are also resistant to flooding and drought. The aim of this research was to test the resistance of melada plants to drought stress. The research was carried out using a completely randomized design consisting of five treatments with five replications, and every treatment unit consisting of three plants. Melada cuttings are planted in plastic pots. After 5 months, the seedlings were treated with drought stress by irrigating using a Polyethylene glycol (PEG) solution with concentrations of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% for two months. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that drought stress treatment reduced plant growth in the variables  leaves number and fully opened leaf area. Melada plants are resistant to drought stress up to an osmotic pressure level of -4.5 bar, equivalent to 15% PEG. Apart from reducing growth, drought stress causes necrotic damage on the leaves starting from the edges of the leaves

    The Cauliflower (Brassica oleraceae var botrytis L.) is a potential horticultural commodity that has great prospects for intensive development in the lowlands. The vitamin and fiber content in cauliflower is so abundant that it is very good for the human body. Cauliflowers can be cultivated on several types of mineral soil, one of which is acid sulfate mineral soil. Problems in acid sulfate mineral soils contain high clay, high soil acidity, a pyrite layer, and nutrient deficiencies. Efforts can be made to support the growth of cauliflower by applying a soil saturated culture system, providing combination of goat manure + bioboost + dolomite, and using lowland cauliflower varieties. The research location is at Golden River Camp Kalimas Village, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research took place from July to November, 2023. The research design used was a Split Block Design, consisting of 2 treatment factors and repeated 3 times and consisting of 4 sample plants. The first factor is the variety as the main plot with 2 treatment levels (Larissa and Snow White) and the second factor is the combination of ts (goat manure ton/ha + bioboost ml/l + dolomite ton/ha) as a subplot with 4 treatment levels. The variables observed in this study consisted of the number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), fresh weight of upper plants (g), dry weight of upper plants (g), age of flower appearance (hst), crop diameter (g) and crop weight (g). The results showed that there was a different response between the two varieties and the combination of goat manure + bioboost + dolomite on the growth and yield of cauliflower, The Larissa variety showed better growth and yield when compared to the Snow white variety and the combination of goat manure 10 tons/ha + bioboost 15 ml/l + dolomite 2 tons/ha can increase the growth and yield of cauliflower better than other ts combinations on tidal acid sulphate soil with soil  saturated culture system

    Corn (Zea mays L.) is an important commodity in West Kalimantan as a second food commodity after rice as a carbohydrate. Peat soils that are easily leached result in low availability of nutrients in the soil. This study aims to determine the effect of giving biochar from corn cobs and rice husk biochar on the availability of N, P, and K nutrients, as well as the growth of corn plants in peat soils. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 8 treatments, namely without corn cob biochar (J0), corn cob biochar 500 g/plot equivalent to 5 tons/ha (J1), corn cob biochar 1000 g/plot equivalent to 10 tons/ha (J2), corn cob biochar 1500 g/plot equivalent 15 tons/ha (J3), without rice husk biochar (S0), rice husk biochar 500 g/plot equivalent 5 tons/ha (S1), rice husk biochar 1000 g/plot equivalent to 10 tons/ha (S2), rice husk biochar 1500 g/equivalent plot 15 tons/ha (S3) with 4 replications and each plot consists of 8 plants, so that there are 32 experimental plots. The results show that the application of various doses of corncob biochar and rice husk biochar did not show a significant effect on soil pH, total soil N, soil available P, soil exchangeable K, plant height, and stem diameter

    farmer satisfaction in obtaining services from their field extension workers. An agricultural extension worker must know the level of satisfaction of the extension target, namely farmers in their work area, in order to improve the quality and performance and success of their extension activities in the future. For farmers in Humboto Village, Uepai District, Konawe Regency, the presence of agricultural extension workers is highly expected, especially to help farmers solve the problems they face, but in reality, not all farmer problems can be resolved. Agricultural extension workers in Humboto Village, Uepai District, number 1 extension worker who also works in other villages because the extension workers from the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) are still very few, namely 8 people who have to work in 18 villages in Uepai District (BPP Uepai District, 2024). The lack of extension workers with a fairly large area of work can affect the quality of work (performance) of agricultural extension workers. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the level of farmer satisfaction with the performance of extension workers in Humboto Village, Uepai District. Uepai, Konawe Regency. The attributes used to measure the level of farmer satisfaction are 5 attributes with 20 items. Data analysis used a score based on a Likert scale with 5 categories, namely very satisfied, satisfied, quite satisfied, dissatisfied and very dissatisfied.     PENGARUH DOSIS DAN WAKTU PENGAPLIKASIAN POC DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (Brassica juncea L.)

    This research aimed to determine the effect of the dose and time of application of Moringa leaf POC on the growth and yield of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.). The research used in a Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor is the POC dose of Moringa leaves consisted of 5 levels: 65 ml/L, 70 ml/L, 75 ml/L, and 80 ml/L. The second factor is the time of application of Moringa leaf POC consisted of 3 levels: every 5 days, every 7 day, and every 9 days. The results showed that the application of a Moringa leaf POC at a dose of 80 ml/L had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant wet weight, and plant dry weight. The application time of Moringa leaf POC every 5 days has a significant effect on all observation parameters. There was an interaction between the two factors with the best average results from a treatment dose of 80 ml/L with an application time of 5 days on the parameters of leaf area at 3 WAP and 4 WAP, leaf area, and plant fresh weight.   Keyword : application time, mustard green, POC dosage INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis dan waktu pengaplikasian POC daun kelor terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.) Penelitian ini berlangsung dari bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis POC daun kelor dengan 5 taraf, yaitu tanpa pemberian POC, 65 ml/L, 70 ml/L, 75 ml/L dan 80 ml/L. Faktor kedua adalah waktu pengaplikasian POC daun kelor dengan 3 taraf, yaitu setiap 5 hari, setiap 7 hari dan setiap 9 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian dosis POC daun kelor dengan dosis 80 ml/L memberikan rata-rata terbaik pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot basah tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Waktu pengaplikasian POC daun kelor setiap 5 hari sekali juga menunjukkan hasil berbeda nyata dengan rata-rata terbaik pada semua parameter pengamatan. Terjadi interaksi antara kedua faktor perlakuan dengan hasil rata-rata terbaik oleh perlakuan dosis 80 ml/L dengan waktu aplikasi 5 hari pada parameter luas daun umur 3 MST dan 4 MST, luas daun dan bobot basah tanaman.             Kata kunci : dosis POC, sawi hijau, waktu aplikas

    NILAI TAMBAH OLAHAN BUAH MARKISA (Passiflora edulis Sims) (STUDI KASUS HOME INDUSTRI ANUGRAH MARKISA)

    Passion fruit has the potential to be developed by several home industries in an effort to increase added value while increasing its shelf life and making it easier for people to consume. This study aims to determine the amount of added value obtained by Anugrah Markisa home industry. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is processed using the added value calculation template using the Hayami method. The results of this study indicate that the added value generated from the processing of passion fruit into passion fruit syrup provides a positive added value of IDR 12,510,000 per production, with a ratio of 35% which means that the value added ratio in the process of processing passion fruit into syrup Passion fruit can be categorized as medium. Keywords: Passion Fruit, Value Added, Home Industry INTISARIMarkisa memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan oleh beberapa home industri dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai tambah sekaligus menambah daya simpan dan membuatnya lebih mudah untuk dikonsumsi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran nilai tambah yang diperoleh home industri Anugrah Markisa.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan template penghitungan nilai tambah melalui metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai tambah yang dihasilkan dari proses pengolahan buah markisa menjadi sirup markisa memberikan nilai tambah positif yaitu Rp.12.510.000 per sekali produksi, dengan rasio sebesar 35% yang dimana dapat diartikan bahwa rasio nilai tambah pada proses pengolahan buah markisa menjadi sirup markisa dapat dikategorikan sedang. Kata Kunci : Markisa, Nilai Tambah, Home Industr

    PENGARUH MEDIA TANAM YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU (Brassica juncea L.) SECARA HIDROPONIK NFT

    The use of a hydroponic cultivation system is an alternative to increase the productivity of vegetable plants whose cycles are quite short. It is hoped that the use of the NFT hydroponic technique can increase the productivity of mustard plants. This study aims to determine the effect of different planting media and several varieties on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) using NFT hydroponics. This research was an experimental type that was prepared using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors, namely the use of planting media and varieties with repetition 3 times, and there were 9 treatment combinations. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the plant height parameters for the combination of treatment m3v1 using Rockwool planting media and the Tosakan variety for plants were 7 DAP (8.47 cm) and 14 DAP (21.58 cm), as well as the combination treatment m1v1 for using charcoal husk and the Tosakan variety for plants at 28 DAP ( 33.97 cm), leaf number parameters in the combination treatment m1v2 using husk charcoal and the Tosakan variety for 28 HST plants (33.97 cm). Parameters for the number of plant leaves with the m3v3 treatment combination, namely the use of Rockwool planting media and the Kumala variety, 21 HST (11.50 pieces) and 28 HST (24.50 pieces) plants. Key-words: Planting media, NFT, Mustard Greens.                INTISARI                  Penggunaan sistem budidaya hidroponik menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman sayuran yang siklusnya cukup pendek. Penggunaan teknik hidroponik NFT diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam yang berbeda dan beberapa varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.) dengan menggunakan hidroponik NFT. Penelitian ini berjenis eksperimen yang disusun dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 faktor, yaitu penggunaan media tanam dan varietas dengan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali, dan terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan diuji dengan menggunakan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter tinggi tanaman kombinasi perlakuan m3v1 penggunaan media tanam rockwool dan varietas Tosakan tanaman 7 HST (8,47 cm) dan 14 HST (21,58 cm), serta kombinasi perlakuan m1v1 penggunaan arang sekam dan varietas Tosakan tanaman 28 HST (33,97 cm), parameter jumlah daun pada kombinasi perlakuan m1v2 penggunaan arang sekam dan varietas Tosakan tanaman 28 HST (33,97 cm). Parameter jumlah daun tanaman dengan kombinasi perlakuan m3v3 yaitu penggunaan media tanam rockwool dan varietas Kumala tanaman 21 HST (11,50 helai) dan 28 HST (24,50 helai). Kata kunci: Media tanam, NFT, Sawi hija

    PATOGENISITAS NEMATODA PATOGEN SERANGGA (Steinernema carpocapsae) ASAL TANAH GAMBUT TERHADAP RAYAP TANAH (Coptotermes curvignathus)

    Soil termites (Coptotermes curvignathus) are one of the main pests that can cause plant death and economic losses. One of controling C. curvignathus is by using entomopathogenic nematodes (Steinernema carpocapsae). This study aims to measure the pathogenicity of S. carpocapsae from peat soil against C. curvignathus. Research was carried out at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This research used Randomized Block Design with one treatment and six concentration levels of S. carpocapsae (25 ji/ml, 50 ji/ml, 100 ji/ml, 200 ji/ml, 400 ji/ml, and 800 ji/ml), each concentration level was repeated five times. Parameters observed included the mortality of C. curvinathus, lethal period, virulence level, and number of S. carpocapsae per host. The results showed that S. carpocapsae caused 100% mortality in 800 ji/ml after 96 hours inoculation. Lethal period and virulence up to 40.68 hour and 0,024 hour. Whereas, number of S. carpocapsae per host were not significantly different among another treatments. Keywords: Mortality, lethal period, virulenceINTISARIRayap tanah (Coptotermes curvignathus) merupakan salah satu hama utama yang dapat menyebabkan kematian tanaman sehingga menimbulkan kerugian secara ekonomis sangat besar. Salah satu cara pengendalian rayap tanah yaitu dengan  menggunakan nematoda patogen serangga (Steinernema carpocapsae). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur daya patogenisitas S. carpocapsae asal tanah gambut terhadap rayap tanah (C. curvignathus). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Hama Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan satu perlakuan dan 6 taraf  konsentrasi S. carpocapsae (25 ji/ml, 50 ji/ml, 100 ji/ml, 200 ji/ml, 400 ji/ml, dan 800 ji/ml), masing-masing taraf konsentrasi diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Parameter yang diamati antara lain mortalitas C. curvignathus, periode letal, dan tingkat virulensi, serta jumlah S. carpocapsae yang keluar dari serangga uji terinfeksi, dan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa S. carpocapsae mampu menyebabkan mortalitas sebesar 100% pada perlakuan 800 ji/ml dalam 96 jam setelah inokulasi, periode letal dan tingkat virulensi masing-masing sebesar 40,68 sebesar 0,024. Sementara itu, jumlah S. carpocapsae yang keluar dari tubuh serangga uji terinfeksi tidak berbeda nyata antara satu perlakuan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Kata kunci : Mortalitas, periode letal, virulens

    ANALISIS USAHATANI PADI ( Oryza sativa L. var. ciherang ) DI KELOMPOK TANI “TANI MAKMUR II” DESA GERDU KECAMATAN PECANGAAN KABUPATEN JEPARA

    This research was conducted in Gerdu village Pecangaan district Jepara regency in January - March 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine income analysis, financial feasibility and the effect of production facility costs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) and labor on the income of the ciherang variety rice farming business. The method used in this research is to do descriptive analysis and ex post facto. The method of determining the sample is the census method with data collection, namely primary data and secondary data. Methods of data analysis using calculations: production costs, revenues, total costs. To calculate the financial feasibility of farming using the parameters RCR, ROI, price BEP, production BEP, while to determine the cost of production facilities (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides) and labor on income used multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show: 1). The average income of ciherang variety rice farming is IDR 19,760,327.-/ hectare per one growing season, with an RCR feasibility of 2.67 (≥ 1), BEP(Q) = 2.508 Kg ( real 6.625 Kg ), BEP(IDR)= Rp. 1,836.- (real Rp. 4800, -), and ROI = 166.53% , 2). Analysis of the cost of production facilities (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor) obtained the equation Y = - 2145670.297+35.762 X1 ** -13,550 X2 ** +2,152 X3ns +4,677 X4 **. Conclusion: Farming analysis of ciherang variety rice in the farmer group "Tani Makmur II" Gerdu village, Pecangaan district, Jepara regency is profitable and feasible to cultivate. Simultaneously the costs of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor affect the income of the ciherang variety farming, and partially the only costs that affect the income of the ciherang variety rice farming are the costs of seeds, fertilizers and labor. Keywords: analysis, farming, ciherang variety rice. INTISARIPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Gerdu kecamatan Pecangaan kabupaten Jepara pada bulan Januari – Maret 2023.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis pendapatan, kelayakan finansial dan pengaruh biaya sarana produksi ( benih, pupuk, pestisida ) dan tenaga kerja  terhadap pendapatan usaha tani padi varietas ciherang.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan analisis deskriptif dan ex post facto.  Metode penentuan sampel adalah dengan metode sensus dengan pengumpulan datan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan perhitungan : biaya produksi, pendapatan, biaya total. Untuk menghitung kelayakan finansial usahatani menggunakan parameter RCR, ROI, BEP harga, BEP produksi, sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh biaya sarana produksi ( benih, pupuk, pestisida ) dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan digunakan analisis regrensi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan : 1). Pendapatan usahatani padi varietas ciherang rata – rata sebesar Rp.19.760.327.-/ hektar per satu musim tanam, dengan kelayakan RCR sebesar 2,67 (≥ 1 ), BEP (Q) =2.508 Kg ( riil 6.625 Kg ), BEP(Rp) = Rp.1.836.- ( riil Rp. 4800,-), dan ROI = 166,53 % , 2).  Analisis biaya sarana produksi ( benih, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja ) diperoleh persamaan  Y = - 2145670,297+35,762 X1 ** -13,550 X2 ** +2,152 X3 ns +4,677 X4 **.  Kesimpulan: Analisis usahatani padi varietas ciherang di kelompok tani “ Tani Makmur II “ desa Gerdu kecamatan Pecangaan kabupaten Jepara menguntungkan dan layak diusahakan. Secara bersama biaya benih, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usahatani varietas ciherang, dan secara parsial yang berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usahatani padi varietas ciherang adalah hanya biaya benih, pupuk dan tenaga kerja. Kata kunci :  analisis, usahatani, padi varietas ciherang

    POTENSI BAKTERI RHIZOSFER PELARUT FOSFAT SEBAGAI BIOFERTILIZER KOPI ARABIKA (Coffea arabica L)

    Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L) is one of Indonesia”s mainstay plants to develop the world's largest coffee producer. The high level of demand for coffee bean products requires the provision of large quantities and quality seeds. Nursery is the first step in coffee cultivation which affects productivity and crop production. The latest biofertilizer innovation is to utilize phosphate solubilizing microorganisms as biological fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect and interaction of the addition of rhizosphere bacterial suspension and bacterial capsules on Arabica coffee plants. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 16 treatments with 2 replications. The first factor was the administration of a rhizosphere bacterial suspension consisting of R0:0 .ml, R1:10 ml:R2:20 ml, R3:30 ml and the second factor was the addition of a bacterial capsule consisting of A0:0 gr, A1:10 gr, A2. :20 g, A3:30 g. Isolates from oil palm soil obtained 14 isolates of rhizosphere bacteria. The best observation of plant height was the R3 treatment (24.55 cm). The observation of the number of leaves was R3 (15,25 cm). for the leaf area parameter the highest number was obtained R3 (25.53 cm). The test results showed that the application of suspension microcapsules and rhizosphere bacteria significantly increased the growth of Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L)Key words: Rhizosphere bacteria, suspension, microcapsules INTISARIKopi arabica (Coffea arabica L) merupakan salah satu tanaman andalan Indonesia dalam perkembangan penghasil kopi terbesar di dunia Tingginya laju permintaan akan produk-produk biji kopi menuntut penyediaan bibit dalam jumlah besar dan berkualitas. Pembibitan merupakan langkah awal dalam pembudidayaan kopi yang berpengaruh terhadap produktifitas dan produksi tanaman. Inovasi pupuk hayati yang terbaru adalah memanfaatkan mikroganisme pelarut fosfat sebagai biofertilizer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan intraksi  penambahan suspensi bakteri rhizosfer dan kapsul bakteri terhadap tanaman kopi arabica.  Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap ( RAL), terdiri 16 perlakuan dengan 2 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian suspensi bakteri rhizosfer yang terdiri dari R0: 0 ml, R1:10 ml: R2:20ml, R3:30 ml dan faktor kedua adalah penambahan kapsul bakteri yang terdiri dari A0: 0 g, A1: 10 g, A2:20 g, A3: 30 g. Isolat dari tanah kelapa sawit diproleh  14 isolat bakteri rhizosfer. Pengamatan tinggi tanaman terbaik adalah perlakuan R3 (24,55 cm) pengamatan jumlah daun adalah A2 (15,25 cm). untuk parameter luas daun angka tertinggi diperoleh R3 (25,53 cm). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mikrokapsul suspensi dan bakteri rhizosfer secara nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kopi arabica (Coffea arabica L). Kata kunci: Bakteri Rhizosfer, suspensi, mikrokapsu
