    STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA PENGGEMUKAN DAN PEMOTONGAN DOMBA DI TRIAKSA FARM, YOGYAKARTA

    The sheep fattening and slaughtering business has quite high prospects in the Special Region of Yogyakarta because many restaurants use lamb as the main raw material. This study aims to analyze the development of Triaksa Farm sheep farming and develop a strategy for developing livestock farming businesses. This research was conducted at Triaksa Farm located in Margomulyo, Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, on May 13, 2024. The method used in this study is qualitative, using interview techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using SWOT analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that Triaksa Farm sheep farming has the potential to be developed. However, several things must be considered, namely improving the quality of sheep production and collaborating with the government to improve the quality of human resources through organizing socialization, training, and motivating Triaksa Farm workers so that they can produce quality sheep and find better ways to maintain sheep

    PENGARUH PERBANDINGAN UNSUR HARA N, P DAN K DALAM PUPUK ORGANIK GRANUL TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SAWI

    Red Yellow Podsolid (RYP) Soil has several properties that are less supportive for the growth and high yields of mustard greens (Brassica Juncea L). Soil properties such as nutrient content, organic matter and cation exchange capacity are very low. This research aims to examine the effect of adding N, P and K elements in granular organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of curly mustard greens in the RYP soil. The treatment  consisted of five treatments and was repeated five times so that there were 25 experimental units. The details of the treatment are as follows: Control (without applying fertilizer), Giving organic granule fertilizer, Giving organic granule fertilizer with a ratio of NPK (10 : 5 : 5), Giving organic granule fertilizer with a ratio of NPK (5 : 10 : 5), Giving organic fertilizer granules with NPK ratio (5 : 5 : 10). Providing N, P and K fertilizer at higher phosphorus doses was able to increase the growth of mustard plants by observing stem diameter by 38.84%, root fresh weight by 5.71% and plant fresh weight by 37.21%.Keywords: curly mustard greens, granulated organic fertilizer, RYP soil INTISARI            Tanah Podsolid Merah Kuning mempunyai beberapa sifat yang kurang mendukung untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi (Brassica Juncea L) yang tinggi. Sifat tanah seperti bersifat masam, kandungan unsur hara dan bahan organik dan kapasitas tukar kation juga sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan unsur N, P dan K dalam pupuk organik granul pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Sawi Keriting di tanah PMK. Perlakuan terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak lima kali sehingga ada 25 unit percobaan. Rincian perlakuannya sebagai berikut: Kontrol (tanpa pemberian pupuk), Pemberian pupuk organik granul, Pemberian pupuk organik granul dengan perbandingan NPK (10 : 5 : 5), Pemberian pupuk organik granul dengan perbandingan NPK (5 : 10 : 5), Pemberian pupuk organik granul dengan perbandingan NPK (5 : 5 : 10). Pemberian pupuk N, P dan K pada dosis fosfor yang lebih tinggi mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pada pengamatan diameter batang sebesar 38,84%, bobot segar akar sebesar 5,71% dan bobot segar tanaman sebesar 37,21%. Kata kunci : pupuk organik granul, sawi kriting, tanah PM

    KARAKTER AGRONOMI DAN KADAR BRIX TIGA VARIETAS SORGUM (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) PADA BEBERAPA FASE PERTUMBUHAN

    This research aims to determine the agronomic characteristics and Brix levels of three sorghum varieties (Sorghun bicolor (L.) Moench) at several growth phases. The research method uses an experimental method with a factorial completely randomized design (CRD), namely the first factor is variety and the second factor is growth phase. The experiment was carried out in the Glasshouse, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram from May to September 2023. There were 9 treatment combinations, repeated 3 times, so there were 27 experimental units. Observation parameters include plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, sugar content (brix), dry stover weight and sorghum yield and yield components. Data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) test at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that plant height, sugar content (brix), dry stover weight were significantly different between sorghum varieties, but the number of leaves and stem diameter were not significantly different (non-significant). The parameters of plant height, sugar content (brix), and dry stover weight of the three varieties were significantly different between growth phase treatments, while the number of leaves and stem diameter were not significantly different. All observed parameters were not significantly influenced by the interaction between variety factors and growth phase. Keywords: agronomic characters;brix content; growth phase, sorghum varietiesINTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter agronomi dan kadar brix tiga varietas sorgum (Sorghun bicolor (L.) Moench) pada beberapa fase pertumbuhan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial, yaitu faktor pertama varietas dan faktor kedua fase pertumbuhan. Percobaan dilaksanakan di Glasshouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mataram dari bulan Mei sampai September 2023. Terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan, diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 27 unit percobaan. Parameter pengamatan meliputi karakter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, kadar gula (brix), bobot brangkasan kering serta hasil dan komponen hasil sorgum. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tinggi tanaman, kadar gula (brix), berat brangkasan kering berbeda nyata antar-varietas sorgum, namun jumlah daun dan diameter batang tidak berberbeda nyata (non signifikan). Parameter tinggi tanaman, kadar gula (brix), dan bobot brangkasan kering dari ketiga vrietas berbeda nyata antar-perlakuan fase pertumbuhan, sedangkan jumlah daun dan diameter batang tidak berbeda nyata. Semua parameter pengamatan tidak dipengaruhi secara nyata oleh interaksi antara faktor varietas dan fase pertumbuhan.Kata kunci: fase pertumbuhan; kadar brix; karakter agronomi; sorgu

    Cultivating plants vertically (wall garden) can overcome the reduced availability of land, plants are planted on vertical panels or specially designed wall structures. This research aims to determine the growth, yield and quality of wall garden mint leaves grown using various mixtures of coconut fiber, husk charcoal and soil. The experiment was designed in a Complete Randomized Block Design with six treatments: T (soil), S (husk charcoal), K (coconut charcoal 1: soil 1), K1S2T1 (coconut fiber 1: charcoal husk 2: soil 1), K1S1T2 (coconut fiber 1: charcoal husk 1: soil 2).     This study aims to determine 1) a general description of paddy rice farming, 2) analyze the income of paddy rice farming, 3) analyze the factors that affect the income of paddy rice farming in Pasar Terusan Village, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency. This research was conducted in Pasar Terusan Village, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency. This data comes from primary data and secondary data. This research uses a simple random sampling method. The Quantitative analysis method for the third objective uses a multiple linear regression econometric model of factors affecting the income of paddy rice farming. The results of the study 1) rice paddy farming in the research location is only done once the growing season is April-September. 2) The average income of paddy rice farming amounted to Rp 9,703,550 / ha / MT. 3) Factors that affect the income of paddy rice farming are land area, education level, farming experience, labor and the number of family dependents have a positive effect on the income of paddy rice farming and age factors have a negative effect on the income of paddy rice farming

    ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH PENGOLAHAN KULIT KOPI (CASCARA) DI KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAH (Studi Kasus pada UMKM Binaan Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan)

    This study intends to analyze the profit levels and value-added in coffee skins processing (Cascara) into tea at the Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises assisted by KBQ Baburrayyan, Berawang Dewal Village, Aceh Tengah. The data sources used were primary data obtained by observation and direct interviews with business owners through a list of questions prepared, and the secondary data attained from reports, literature studies, written sources, and the institutions at the research place. The method used in this research was a case study method with a quantitative descriptive analysis over the analysis of total costs, revenues, income, and R/C ratios. The results indicated the total cost of producing Cascara products was IDR 4,450,734/month, with a total return of IDR 33,000,000/month, while the received income was IDR 28,549,266/month. The analysis result of the R/C ratio for Cascara products showed a value of 7.41. It defined that this business is feasible since the R/C value attained is greater than 1. The higher the R/C ratio of an enterprise, the higher the profit level obtained. This product processing business provided a value-added of IDR 83,000/kg with a ratio of 55 percent from the margin achieved of IDR 81,000/kg which 31 percent is distributed from the workers, while from the other input was 80 percent, and from the coffee skin tea workers' profit as much as 98 percent.INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keuntungan, nilai tambah pada usaha pengolahan kulit kopi (Cascara) menjadi teh di UMKM binaan KBQ Baburrayyan di Desa Berawang Dewal, Aceh Tengah. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pemilik usaha melalui daftar pertanyaan yang sudah disusun, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan, studi literatur, sumber tertulis dan instansi ditempat penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan , melalui analisis total biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan dan R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya produksi pada produk Cascara adalah sebesar Rp 4.450.734/bulan, dengan total penerimaan sebesar Rp 33.000.000/bulan, sedangkan pendapatan yang diterima adalah sebesar Rp 28.549.266/bulan. Hasil analisis R/C ratio pada produk Cascara menunjukkan nilai sebesar 7.41 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha tersebut layak untuk dijalankan karena nilai R/C yang didapat lebih besar daripada 1. Semakin tinggi nilai R/C dari sebuah usaha maka tingkat keuntungan yang akan didapatkan suatu usaha juga akan semakin tinggi. Pada usaha pengolahan produk ini memberikan nilai tambah sebesar Rp 83.000,- /kg dengan rasio 55 persen dari marjin yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 81.000/kg yang terdistribusi dari tenaga kerja sebesar 31 persen sedangkan dari input lain sebesar 80 persen dan dari keuntungan pekerja teh kulit kopi sebesar 98 persen

    PEMANFAATAN PUPUK KOMPOS AMPAS KELAPA DAN NPK DALAM PENINGKATAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SAWI KAILAN (Brassica oleraceae L.)

    Kailan mustard greens (Brassica oleraceae L.) is a horticultural plant that can be used as a family food source. This research aims to determine the effect of providing coconut dregs compost and NPK fertilizer on the growth of kailan mustard greens. The research was carried out in Ujung Bandar, Rantau Selatan, Labuhanbatu, North Sumatra. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Block Factorial Design with the first factor being coconut dregs compost consisting of 4 levels, namely A0: control, A1: 200 g/plant, A2: 400 g/plant, A3: 600 g/plant, and the second factor was NPK which consists of 4 levels, namely N0: control, N1: 5g/plant, N2: 10 g/plant, N3: 15 g/plant. The results of the research showed that there was an interaction effect of providing coconut dregs compost and NPK on plant height, number of leaves and leaf area of kailan mustard greens. The combined dose of 600 g of coconut dregs with 15 g of NPK produced the best growth in plant height, number of leaves and leaf area of kailan mustard greens. Key words : coconut dregs;compost; fertilizer; kailan. INTISARISawi kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) adalah tanaman hortikultura yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pangan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kompos ampas kelapa dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi kailan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Ujung Bandar, Rantau Selatan, Labuhanbatu, Sumatera Utara. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan faktor pertama adalah kompos ampas kelapa yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu A0: kontrol, A1: 200 g/tanaman, A2: 400 g/tanaman, A3: 600 g/tanaman, dan faktor kedua NPK yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu N0: kontrol, N1: 5g/tanaman, N2: 10 g/tanaman, N3: 15 g/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi pengaruh pemberian kompos ampas kelapa dan NPK terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan luas daun tanaman sawi kailan. Kombinasi dosis 600 g ampas kelapa dengan 15 g NPK menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik  terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan luas daun tanaman sawi kailan. Kata kunci : ampas kelapa, kailan, kompos, pupuk

    Cocoa is an annual crop which is one of the leading commodities in the plantation sector, and is a source of livelihood for the community. The research objectives were to determine 1) production factors that influence organic cocoa production 2) production efficiency of organic cocoa farming in Putat Village, Patuk District. The research was conducted using a survey method using questionnaires on 30 cocoa farmers. The analysis model used is Cobb Douglas Linear Regression. The research results show that the land area factor has a significant effect on cocoa production, while fertilizer, plant age and labor have no significant effect on cocoa production. The efficiency of production factors is > 1, indicating that cocoa farming is not yet efficient

    PENGARUH PEG (POLIETILENA GLIKOL) 6000 TERHADAP KETAHANAN KEKERINGAN PADA FASE PERKECAMBAHAN TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.)

    The use of varieties that are tolerant to drought stress is an alternative in dealing with current climate change conditions. This research aims to determine the effect of administering PEG (Polyethylene Glycole) 6000 compounds on drought resistance in the germination phase of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.). in the research were rice seeds of varieties G1 = Mustakmal 5, G2 = Inpari 32, G3 = CBD, G4 = Inpari 78, G5 = MR 4, G6 = Mokonga, PEG (Polyethylene Glycole) 6000, filter paper, distilled water. Tools used are ruler, analytical scale, label paper, stationery, calculator, camera, bucket, petri dish, measuring cup, tweezers, basket, 500 ml measuring flask, spatula, plastic crab, auto meter set counter, stirrer, and supporting tools other. The results of this research show that there is a combination of factors between several types of rice with the use of PEG 6000 compounds in the variable of giving 10% PEG 6000 with the Mustakmal (G1) rice variety which is the best combination treatment for the observed variables of plumule length and root length. The Mustakmal (G1) rice variety is the best type for the observed variables of plumule length, root length and tolerance index. The use of PEG 6000 at a concentration of 10% (P2) was the best for observing variables plumule length, root length, plumule-radicle length ratio, and tolerance index. Keywords: water stress, types of rice, PEG 6000 INTISARIPenggunaan varietas yang toleran terhadap cekaman kekeringan merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam menghadapi kondisi perubahan iklim saat ini Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  pemberian senyawa PEG (Polyethylene Glycole) 6000 terhadap ketahanan kekeringan pada fase perkecambahan tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) Bahan yang di gunakan dalam penelitian adalah benih padi varietas G1 = Mustakmal 5, G2 = Inpari 32 , G3 = CBD, G4 = Inpari 78, G5 = MR 4, G6 = Mokonga, PEG (Polyethylene Glycole) 6000, kertas saring, aquades. Alat yang digunakan pengaris, timbangan analitik, kertas lebel, alat tulis, kalkulator, kamera, ember, cawan petri, gelas ukur, pinset, keranjang, labu ukur 500 ml, spatula, plastik crab, auto metic set counter, stirrer, dan alat pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kombinasi antar-faktor beberapa varietas padi dengan penggunaan senyawa PEG 6000 pada variabel pemberian PEG 6000 10% dengan varietas padi Mustakmal (G1) merupakan perlakuan kombinasi terbaik pada variabel pengamatan panjang plumula dan panjang akar. Varietas padi Mustakmal (G1) merupakan varietas terbaik pada variabel pengamatan panjang plumula, panjang akar, dan indeks toleransi. Penggunaan PEG 6000 pada konsentrasi 10% (P2) merupakan pemberian terbaik pada variabel pengamatan panjang plumula, panjang akar, rasio panjang plumula-radikula, dan indeks toleransi. Kata Kunci : cekaman air, varietas padi, PEG 600

    PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium cepa L.) DI TANAH PMK DENGAN BERBAGAI JENIS PUPUK KANDANG DAN ABU JANJANG KELAPA SAWIT

    The application of manure and palm oil empty fruit bunch ash can physically, chemically and biologically increase soil fertility. The study aims to determine the role of manures and palm oil empty fruit bunch ash on growth and yield shallots on ultisol soil. The study was conducted in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan, from January to April 2023. The study used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the treatment of various types of manure with 4 levels (chicken manure, goat manure, cow manure and duck manure). The second factor is the treatment of palm oil empty fruit bunch ash doses with 3 levels (3.5 tons ha-1, 5 tons ha-1, 6.5 tons ha-1). The type of manure treatment plays a role in influencing plant height aged 4 and 5 WAP, plant dry weight, number of tubers per hill and weight of tubers per hill, with the best type being the use of cow manure. The dose of palm oil empty fruit bunch ash plays a role in influencing the number of tubers per clump, with the best dose being 3.5 tons ha-1
