IMPROVING TIME EFFICIENCY USING COMPUTER SOFTWARE INTENDED FOR PRODUCTIVE PREPARATION IN CUSTOM-MADE CABINET FURNITURE FACTORIES

    No full text
The goal of the research presented in this paper is to see the impact of computer software intended for manufacturing preparation on the time required to prepare the complete technical documentation during the launch of a new product within a micro enterprise for the production of custom-made cabinet furniture. For that purpose, the time spent during standard constructive preparation was measured. Standard constructive preparation covers views, sections and details drawing in AutoCAD of previously prepared 3D models of various pieces of furniture, and then dimensioning the constituent elements and creating a scheme for cutting the material in an appropriate software. For the same pieces of furniture, time was measured during the preparation of the same documentation through several different software intended for constructive preparation, specifically in PolyBoard in this part of the research, as presented in this paper. The results show that the computer software significantly shortens the constructive preparation time

TRAUMA, LOSS AND MEMORY: HAUNTINGS IN COLERIDGE`S “RIME” AND BYRON`S “GIAOUR”

    No full text
This paper delves into the traumatic experiences of the central charactersin Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Rime of the Ancient Mariner and George Gordon Byron’sThe Giaour, positioning these works as compelling narratives of trauma. By examining theMariner’s guilt-ridden journey and the Giaour’s vengeful quest, the paper explores how thesefigures’ transgressions and subsequent losses shape their identities and the ways in whichthey navigate their traumatic experiences. The paper will consider the role of memory in bothpoems, analyzing how the characters’ recollections of past events haunt them and contributeto their ongoing suffering. Additionally, it will investigate the concept of redemption, examining whether the Mariner and Giaour are able to find solace or healing through theirnarratives. Ultimately, this paper aims to shed light on the complex ways in which trauma canbe expressed and processed through literary texts, offering valuable insights into the humanexperience of suffering and resilience

MUSEUM ARCHITECTURE AND PLACE: THE IDEA OF GROWTH IN MUSEUM DESIGN

    No full text
The paper reviews the aspect of place in the design of museum architecture, and presents two cases of linear composition addressing the idea of growth. The first reviewedcase is Le Corbusier’s idea for a “Museum of Unlimited Growth”, and the second case is the“Louisiana Museum of Modern Art” designed by architects Jørgen Bo and Wilhelm Wohlert. In the first case, the place serves as a background to the design of the museum. In the secondcase, the place appears as instrumental in the design of the museum

ORGANIZED CRIME IN THE WESTERN BALKAN COUNTRIES WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO MONEY LAUNDERING

    No full text
Money laundering is a criminal activity, the main purpose of which is to conceal the true origin of the money and give it legality, i.e. a process through which all illegally acquired funds are transformed, transported, converted or transferred, with a single purpose - concealing their true purpose. origin, ownership or movement. In the oldest written sources, the term crimen is mentioned, which means a crime, a crime, a transgression, and under which is understood the behavior of an individual that is contrary to the generally accepted standards, i.e. contrary to the interests of society, which is why it was always reacted with repressive measures. Money laundering and organized crime in general are really complex and complex topics that must be detected in time in order to prevent future negative consequences that could arise

AUTOMATED PROCESSING LINE FOR EFFICIENT SORTING OF WASTE RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

    No full text
This paper is considering the implementation of a modern automated processing line designed to enhance the efficiency of waste material sorting. With a focus on delivering products of optimal quality and quantity within defined timeframes, the research uses a comprehensive methodology integrating advanced automation techniques. Through an examination of the complex dynamics inherent in sorting processes, the research not only addresses fundamental challenges in waste management understanding but also highlights positive environmental outcomes and promotes ecological integrity. The integration of automated systems not only aims to improve productivity and staff working conditions but also aligns with the imperative of promoting a more ecologically sustainable environment. The architectural layout of the facility is strategically organized into two specialized zones, including the reception area for waste intake and sorting and preprocessing section utilizing advanced technologies. These identified zones collectively form the backbone of the facility’s infrastructure, ensuring a systematic and effective approach to waste management

EXIBITION PRAMETRIC FAMILY OF ALGEBRIC POINTS OF GIVEN DEGREE ON THE AFFINE EQUATION CURVE: −y2 = x6 − 20x3 − 8

    No full text
We give an explicit parametric family of algebraic points of given degree on Q over the affine equation curve: -y2 = x6 - 20x3 - 8. These curves are described by Nils BRUIN in [1], who showed that the MordellWeill group is finite and explained the generators of the torsion group for this curve

THE LEGAL OVERVIEW OF MEDIATION IN THE TREATMENT OF HARASSMENT IN THE WORKPLACE (MOBBING)

    No full text
Harassment in the workplace (Mobbing) is consider a frequent phenomenon present in every sector (public or private) which, due to the consequences it leaves behind for the victims, is considered very harmful and sometimes very hard to treat. It represent a number of different activities taken towards the employee/worker that unfortunately affects negatively his/her well-being. To consider these activities as harassment activities, they must be characterized by repetition for a longer period of time (at least 6 months systematically) which are presented as hostile, unethical, verbal or nonverbal behavior that affects an individual and sometimes a group, with the final aim of termination of the employment contract done voluntary through resignation from the work. Because of the multidimensional negative effects, that mobbing can leave such as in the physical and psychological health of the worker, also on his/her family life and social relationships and performances at work, it must be treated very quickly and in the most efficient way. As a perfect method that can be identified with these two characteristics, is Mediation. It’s considered suitable for solving these kind of “issues in the workplace” because of the high involvement of the emotions and psychological effects these emotions can cause to the worker, and because of the faster solution provided by this alternative method in comparison with other judicial or non-judicial methods. The main purpose of this paper will to achieve an extensive legal analysis of the laws that regulate this phenomenon in our society and of the law that provides its fast solution and treatment i.e. Law on mediation

DISPROPORTIONALITY IN PROPORTIONAL ELECTION MODELS – A LOOK AT THE EXPERIENCE OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE FORMER SFRY

    No full text
Electoral systems play a central role in many modern democracies. Their influence on politics and vice versa is a justified concern of the disciplines that exist in political science. One such influence that is intensively studied in the science of elections and electoral systems is the influence of electoral rules on the (dis)proportionality of voter representation in legislative bodies. Disproportionality is nothing but a kind of bias in the distribution of seats in favor of (or against) the larger parties. Disproportionality, in other words, is a deviation from some desired perfect proportionality. Even those electoral systems that can be qualified as satisfactorily or solidly proportional have a certain built-in disproportionality. Electoral disproportionality is one of the most important resulting forms of the electoral process. Hence, this paper aims to examine disproportionality in proportional electoral models in the countries of the former Yugoslavia. For this purpose, the paper is structured as follows: first, a theoretical overview of disproportionality, which exists in the science of elections and electoral systems, will be given; then an overview of the indices used in the science of measuring disproportionality will be approached; so that afterwards to approach a comparative analysis of the degree of disproportionality that exists in the countries of the former SFRY in their proportional electoral models. It should be emphasized that there is no consensus on how to measure the distortions caused by the transfer of votes in seats, and many efforts have been made to measure such deviation. Disproportionality indices are generally used for this purpose, and there is extensive literature on the subject. However, the index of relative disproportionality (least squares index LSq) proposed by Michael Gallagher (1991) somehow comes to the fore, and it will be used for our comparative analysis

MACEDONIAN MEDIA AND NATIONAL INTERESTS: PROMOTION AND PROTECTION IN COMPARATION WITH THE REGION AND EUROPE

    No full text
Subject of this paper is the role of the media in protecting national interests of Republic of N. Macedonia and the need to carry out a media strategy in that direction. The role of the media in each country is crucial in promotion and support on institutional agendas in protecting national interests. Our country, from independence to today, mostly in the past ten years, has gone through a period of serious challenges, such as the change of its constitutional name, contestation of the Macedonian language and Macedonian history. This paper, through a specific analysis of the role and reporting method of the Macedonian media in the aforementioned processes, will explain the purpose and need for creating a special Media Strategy for the protection of Macedonian national interests. The Media Strategy should be initiated and prepared by the media themselves. Through the comparative analysis with the countries in the region from the former Yugoslav republics and beyond, on the same topic, this paper shows that the strategic journalists reporting in crucial moments is a strong shield for the state itself. The media is the world seventh power, and the essence of their positioning is precisely because of their power in protecting and fighting for public interests and national issues
