IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN PARTISIPATIF MELALUI FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MAHASISWA
Participatory Learning is a learning activity that emphasizes that students have learning needs, understand learning techniques and learning behavior that can lead to educational interactions between students and students and students and educators. The element of learning activities is characterized by a deliberate, planned and systematic effort made by educators to empower the existing potentials possessed by students. Participatory learning is defined as an effort by educators to include students in learning activities, namely in the stages of program planning, program implementation and program assessment. Participatory learning with this concept reflects the implementation of learning that is democratic, wise, conducive, flexible and seeks to empower the potential of each student. Participatory Learning developed through Focus Group Discussions is directed at improving student communication skills. This learning is carried out by forming student study groups who are accompanied by educators (lecturers) in carrying out their learning activities. The strategy for implementing participatory learning through focus group discussions, namely by involving all members of the study group in the learning program planning process, the learning implementation process and learning assessment / evaluation. Learning is carried out by carrying out communication exercises both in class and outside the classroom which are adjusted to the learning activity plans compiled with discussion group members. Through the exercises that are carried out, of course, it will be able to improve student communication skills which can be implemented in the learning process of learning as well as in the broader application process
Penyuluhan Pengasuhan Efektif di Masa Bencana Melalui Parenting Education Berbasis Online
The purpose of this service activity is to provide the knowledge in education program handling for parents (parenting education) and teachers to increase their treasure of knowledge about children's growth and development and to align children's education at school and home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of this community service program was conducted through the online platform "Whatsapp special Group” for teachers and parents about the psychological impact of this pandemic to students, teachers, and parents; (1). how to manage negative emotions, online learning management for teachers, and how to construct effective communications between teachers and parents on children education. 2. Performing questions and answers session every the end of counseling material delivery. 3. Program evaluation of Parenting Education on an online basis and the continuity of program planning. The result of this program was well accepted and easy to understand by participants. Furthermore, during the program all participants were enthusiastic about discussion, sharing their knowledge and information between them and community service teams
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TAKE AND GIVE DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
The research objective was to determine the effect of the take and give type of cooperative learning model on student achievement in ICT class IX subjects at Janapria Junior High School. This type of research is a pure experiment with a one group pretest – postest design, that is, a research design carried out in one group only without a comparison group. The population in this study were all students of class IX at Janapria Junior High School, amounting to 74 students, while the sample of this study was 25 students of class IXB. The researcher used simple random sampling, which is a lottery system with the intention that each class has the same opportunity to become a member of the sample in this study. The data collection method used in this study was the test method as the main method and the method of documentation and the interview method as a complementary method, while the data analysis used the t-test. The result of this research is 5,759 and after being consulted with t table on d.f 24 with a significance level of 5%, which is 2.064. Based on these results, then tcount> ttable (5.759> 2.064) proves that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads: There is an effect of the take and give type of cooperative learning model on student achievement in classroom ICT subjects. Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berorientasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw: Tinjauan Proses dan Hasil Belajar
This study aims to develop a jigsaw cooperative learning-oriented learning tool, then see its impact on the process and student learning outcomes of biology. The development adopts the Morrison, Ross, & Kemp (2010) model, which consists of nine stages and ends with field trials to produce teaching materials, teacher guides, lesson plans, LKPD, and test questions. Trial I was carried out on grade X MA Darun Najah Duman, to produce draft 1 learning tools and validate research instruments. Trial II on students of MA Putri NW Narmada. Measured aspects of the learning process include: observing the ability of teachers to apply learning tools, teacher and student activities, student cooperative skills, and capturing student responses with questionnaires. Learning outcomes are shown from the final test score. Testing using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data from observations and questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and test score data were analyzed using the t one-sample test statistic using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that the tools developed were able to be applied by teachers, increased teacher and student activities, encouraged students to do positive activities in learning, and accustomed students to cooperative skills. Students are happy with learning, so that learning that applies a jigsaw cooperative learning model-oriented device has a significant effect on the achievement of the minimum completeness criteria of students (μ = 78, μ0 = 67, t = 6,800, p = .000 <.005) The learning tools developed are suitable for use in biology learning at madrasah aliyah in Islamic boarding schools
Potensi Pengembangan Ekowisata Berbasis Masyarakat di Kawasan Hutan Selelos Kabupaten Lombok Utara
The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of natural and cultural resources, to know the perceptions, participation and aspirations of the community and to develop a community-based ecotourism development strategy in Selelos Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative case study and exploratory descriptive to find the potential in the form of biodiversity in the Selelos forest area. Data collection was carried out by observing the biodiversity in it, testing water quality, and using a questionnaire to 50 community respondents and 7 respondents from the village government. The results showed that Selelos Village has a forest area ecosystem that holds several potentials to be developed into ecotourism, including: waterfalls, springs, customary forests, and plantations (agro-tourism). In addition, it has a diversity of flora and fauna, there are about 13 high-level plant families with many species in it, as well as about 5 families of fauna and there are also endemic animals such as partridge and deer (senggah). Of the four springs quality tested, all of them are suitable as raw material for drinking water. Meanwhile, based on the questionnaire analysis, the community and village government will work together in developing and managing ecotourism. Based on the SWOT analysis, the strategy used in developing ecotourism is to take advantage of the strengths of opportunity (S-O), among others; mapping the potential of ecotourism, developing special ecotourism such as agro-tourism, synergizing ecotourism with local culture and customs, equipping, providing facilities and infrastructure, and improving human resources
PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP POLA BILANGAN PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi pola bilangan. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara Seorang Dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika dan guru mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 8 kali pertemuan (4 minggu) termasuk quis dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 8A SMPN 17 Mataram yang terdiri dari 10 peserta didik laki-laki dan 22 peserta didik perempuan. Pemilihan subjek ini dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan prestasi belajar peserta didik ketika di kelas 7 yang dikelompokkan dalam 4 kelas 8. Kelas 8A merupakan kelas yang memiliki nilai matematika lebih tinggi dibandingkan 3 kelas lainnya. Analisis data hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan secara deskriftif berdasarkan nilai LKPD, quis, dan evaluasi serta hasil refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik ini selain mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep juga mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Tentunya harus di dukung oleh pemahaman guru dalam merancang aktivitas untuk setiap materi matematika yang disajikan dalam RPP dan terimplementasi dalam aktivitas di LKPD. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendari bagi para guru untuk menyusun RPP menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dengan lebih memfokuskan aktivitas peserta didik pada bagian aktivitas pengamatan dan mengumpulkan informasi
PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP/MTS DI LOMBOK BARAT
The problem and challenge of learning mathematics in West Lombok in particular and Indonesia in general is the low ability of students' mathematical literacy. The findings of researchers in the field are that students' understanding of mathematics is a standard procedure for solving routine problems. Students have difficulty solving problems in the form of mathematical applications in everyday life. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' abilities in the process of constructing, simplifying, and compiling mathematical models, as well as their use in solving everyday problems. One thing that can be done is to simplify the mathematical concept into a series of activities in accordance with the sequence of students' knowledge development by using environmental media as a learning medium. Such a learning concept is scientific learning based on local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to produce scientific learning tools based on local wisdom that can improve the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok Regency. This type of research is Development Research. This research procedure carried out by referring to the 4-D Model, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The results of the validation show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are in the very valid category. The test results show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are very effective in improving the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok
Development of 21st Century Learning Skills Assessment Instruments in STEM-Based Science Learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
This study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective 21st century learning skills assessment instrument for STEM-based science learning. This representation assessment instrument was developed with a 4 D development model with four stages, namely: definition, design, development, and distribution. The 21st century learning skills that are the focus of assessment in this instrument include critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 expert validators, 1 science teacher, and 26 students of grade VII SMP at SMPN 2 Sugio, Lamongan. Data collection methods used in this research is validation, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used in this study is the method of obtaining an average for each indicator, aspect, to the total mean, which is then referred to in the interval determining the level of validity & practicality of the product (scale 1-3), as well as statistical testing of paired sample T-test with descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study are that the 21st century learning skills assessment instrument in STEM-based science learning is valid with a validity score of 2.87, is very practical to use (with a practicality score of 3), and has a positive effect on student learning skills
ANALISA JENIS ASAM TERHADAP KECEPATAN DESTRUKSI DAUN SINGKONG
Proper sample preparation is key in sample analysis. Preparation errors will have an impact on the analysis and interpretation of data generated by certain instruments. One of the sample preparation techniques is digestion. Destruction is a treatment of breaking compounds into their elements so that they can be analyzed. The term destruction is also called overhaul, namely from metal organic forms to inorganic metals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the digestion rate of several strong acids. This research is an experimental research in the laboratory. The sample in this study was cassava leaves that were taken from the middle of the tree. The obtained data are described in graphs. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that Nitric acid (HNO3) has the fastest destructive ability compared to hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
KAJIAN PENERIMAAN TEORI EVOLUSI MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI
Penerimaan teori evolusi merujuk pada memahami dengan baik teori evolusi itu sendiri, semakin baik pengetahuan atau pemahaman seseorang mengenai teori evolusi, maka akan semakin mudah baginya untuk menerima teori evolusi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi penerimaan mahasiswa calon guru biologi terhadap teori evolusi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat penerimaan teori evolusi diadopsi dari Measurement Acceptance Theory of Evolution (MATE) yang dikembangkan oleh Rutledge and Sadler. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, bahwa hanya aspek proses evolusi yang memiliki kategori tinggi, atau tingkat penerimaannya tinggi dibandingkan dengan aspek-aspek yang lain, dan secara umum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat penerimaan mahasiswa calon guru biologi terhadap teori evolusi masih tergolong rendah, dan sebagai rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya adalah pengukuran tentang korelasi anatara disposisi berpikir dan penerimaan teori evolusi
