Revolusi E-Commerce: Transaksi Digital dan Dampaknya Pada Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di ASEAN-5
This study analyzes the impact of e-commerce and digital transformation on economic growth in five ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines) during the 2011-2021 period, using panel data and the Common Effect Model (CEM) or pooled data panel approach. The results show that digital payment has a positive and significant impact on economic growth, indicating the importance of digital payment adoption in enhancing economic activity in the region. On the other hand, e-commerce transaction value has a significant negative effect, which can be explained by the imbalance in value-added distribution and the concentration of capital on certain e-commerce platforms that do not support other sectors evenly. World digital competitiveness has a positive impact on GDP, showing that countries with higher digital competitiveness tend to have better economic growth. Total population contributes positively but has a minor influence on GDP, while labor force shows a significant negative effect, reflecting challenges in matching workforce growth with the rapidly evolving digital market demands
Churchscapes: A Multimodal Discourse Analysis of Signage in Selected Catholic Churches in Rinconada
This study analyzed the different signage in selected churches of Rinconada using the Theory of Public Signage by Bernard Spolsky. Its purpose is to explore the language choices, functional aspects, and communicative effectiveness of the public signage found within these religious institutions. Through rigorous review of related literature, it was found that there is a limited study of churchscapes in the local context which is the gap that this research aims to address. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining both qualitative and quantitative data to be collected and analyzed. The results indicated a significant amount of Informative signage in every selected church in Rinconada. This reflects the rules, expected behavior of parishioners, and a reminder of the sanctity of the religious spaces. Furthermore, thematic analysis of the gathered data revealed that church sign-makers in Rinconada often use the English language and Rinconada dialect variants as the language medium of their signage. The findings suggest that using English, Tagalog, and Rinconada language in the public signage that were identified helped parishioners to comply with the rules and regulations in the church’s premises. The study’s results have implications for the comprehension of public signage in religious establishments
Lexicon in Self-Harming among Adolescents: A Social Praxis Study of Ideological Dimension from an Eco-Linguistic Perspective
This study investigates the lexicon of self-harming among adolescents within the context of Role Player Real Life (RPRL) activities on social media platforms such as Twitter and Telegram. RPRL, a practice in which adolescents assume fictional or anonymized identities, has emerged as a digital space where emotional expression, including self-harming discourse, is normalized and ideologically reinforced. Using an eco-linguistic perspective and the dialectical model of communication proposed by Bang and Døør (1993), the study examines how language functions both as a product and a medium of social praxis, particularly in shaping adolescent behavior and mental health. Data were collected through textual analysis, interviews, and focus group discussions with students from SMAN 1 X Koto, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Indonesia. The findings reveal a wide range of self-harm-related lexicon, such as “cutting,” “barcode,” and “overdose,”—that serve as communicative tools within these digital communities. Contributing factors include psychological distress, peer influence, and social media dynamics. The study also explores interventions such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), anti-ligature clothing, and self-love campaigns. The results underscore the need for comprehensive mental health strategies that consider the linguistic and ecological contexts of adolescent digital behavior
Pengaruh Secondary Skin Dengan Variasi Kemiringan Sudut Fasad Terhadap Efisiensi Energi Dan Kenyamanan Termal Ruangan
This study examines the effect of applying secondary skin with varying slope angles on the facade on energy efficiency and indoor thermal comfort. Facades with varying slope angles are designed to respond adaptively to external environmental conditions, such as solar radiation intensity, air temperature, and wind movement, with the aim of minimizing the building's thermal load and improving overall thermal performance. An experimental approach is used to evaluate the effectiveness of secondary skin with varying slopes. The thermal comfort parameters measured include air temperature, relative humidity, lighting intensity, and energy requirements for cooling, all of which are analyzed based on ASHRAE standards. The results of the study indicate that the use of facades with opening slopes of 10°, 20°, and 30° can reduce the room cooling load by 11.05%, 10.95%, and 10.80%, respectively. In addition, there was a decrease in the average Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) value of 0.059 (5.03%) at a slope of 10°, 0.073 (6.29%) at a slope of 20°, and 0.078 (7.20%) at a slope of 30°. These findings indicate that secondary skin with variations in the slope angle of the facade is an innovative and sustainable approach in passive cooling strategies, which contributes to reducing energy consumption

Studi Eksperimental Karakteristik Beton Mutu Tinggi dengan Memanfaatkan Limbah Fly Ash dan Coco Fiber
The issue of environmental friendliness has become very popular recently. Various industrial sectors must pay attention to environmental factors as a global sustainability goal. In the construction industry sector, concrete is a much-needed material in making building structures. Concrete becomes environmentally friendly by utilizing waste as a substitute for some of the ingredients. This research uses fly ash and coconut fiber. This study aims to determine the effect of renewable innovation in the addition of fly ash and coco fiber waste on the value of compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete and to determine the composition of the most optimum percentage of waste addition, as well as the resulting crack pattern. This research uses the international standard ACI 211.4R-93, which is an experiment with the addition of 15% fly ash and variations in the addition of coconut fiber 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%. The concrete quality planning in this study is 40 MPa with concrete treatment for 28 days and 56 days. This test uses cylindrical test objects (15cm x 30cm) with a total of 30 samples for compressive strength testing and beams (60cm x 15cm x 15cm) with a total of 30 samples for flexural strength testing. The results obtained in this study are the optimum compressive strength found in the variation of adding 1.5% fiber and 15% fly ash at 56 days of concrete age of 33.12 MPa. The highest concrete flexural strength value is found in the 2% fiber addition variation
Evaluasi Kapasitas Eksisting Sungai Batang Mangor di Hulu Bendung Ladang Laweh Dengan Peningkatan Debit Banjir Rencana 25 Tahun
Ladang Laweh Irrigation District Dam is located in Sicincin nagari, Padang Pariaman Regency with an irrigation service area of 1,140 Ha. The Ladang Laweh Irrigation Area weir receives flow from the Batang Mangor river which is included in the Batang Mangor watershed. On September 22, 2021 a flood occurred on September 22, 2021 resulting in an overflow with a height of 2.5 m above the lighthouse with an estimated discharge of 141.946 m3 /dt resulting in runoff flow in the area upstream of the bending. Analysis of the capacity of the existing river upstream of the weir was carried out with a 25-year plan flood discharge. Modeling is done by analyzing 15 years of rain data and catchment area starting from the location point of the weir upstream. The validation results under full bank capacity conditions obtained the closest match to the theoretical flood discharge value of the Nakayasu method. The simulation results show that the existing cross section of segments P1 to P19 at the Korong Gadang location is inundated during flood events with river capacity in several locations exceeding the maximum capacity. The results also provide recommendations for flood management by suggesting the addition of river embankments at locations that experience inundation
