Penerapan Quality Control pada Souvenir Logo PNP dengan Metode Box Plot dan Six Sigma
The quality of a product determines the level of market demand. This paper discusses the determination of the quality level of plastic molding with the sigma level method which uses the Box Plot to determine the desired quality limit. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of quality of product using statistics. The object of this research is to determine the weight variation of the souvenir of PNP logo with a weight indicator. The experiment were carried out on 200 samples taken at random.Then each sample is numbered from 1 to 200. Each sample is weighed carefully. The results obtained were processed using a box plot to obtain the numbered of rejected samples from 200 samples that were weighed. The result of data processing obtained 19 reject products from 200 products tested. From this data there are 9,5% of products that do not meet the desired specifications. Furthermore, the sigma level is determined from the results of data processing using a box plot. DPMO of 9.5% is 95000 Defects per Milion Opportunities. The result of determining the sigma level is 2.8 Sigma
Optimasi Pengeringan Bahan Kerupuk Dengan Menggunakan Oven Berbahan Bakar GAS
Proses pengeringan sangat diperlukan dalam proses produksi kerupuk. Proses pengeringan merupakan pengurangan kadar air yang ada dalam bahan sehingga mencapai batasan tertentu. Pengeringan dengan menggunakan cahaya matahari bisa dilakukan selama cuaca masih mendukung akan tetapi ketika musim hujan datang proses pengeringan akan terganggu. Sehingga hal ini menjadi tantangan untuk pengusaha kerupuk supaya bisa melanjutkan produktifitasnya meskipun ketika musim hujan datang. Tim pengabdi berupaya untuk mencarikan solusi terhadap kendala yang dialami mitra melalui penyediaan alat pengering oven otomatis berbahan bakar Gas. Dengan adanya oven berbahan bakar Gas ini proses pengeringan bisa dilakukan lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan pengeringan menggunakan cahaya matahari secara langsung. Selisihnya mencapai 15 Jam 30 menit. Kemudian hitungan secara efisiensi, dengan bertambahnya biaya operasional sebesar Rp.100.00 akibat penggunaan oven bisa menanggulangi kerugian bahan baku sebesar Rp. 2.055.000 dan peraihan omset pun masih bisa dicapai meskipun musim hujan datang
Kinerja Bus Trans Padang Koridor IV dan Karateristik Penumpangnya
In order to counterbalance movement of the city is by building mass transportation. However, the number of users who interested in using Trans Padang Corridor IV is relatively low. Analysis of the performance and passengers characteristics of the Trans Padang Corridor IV Bus is useful for improving performance based on the characteristics of the passengers. This study used a quantitative method in the form of observations, interviews, and also questionnaires which were described descriptively. Performance analysis was based on the decision of the Director General of Land Transportation No.SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002. Based on the performance analysis (load factor, headway, waiting time, amount of buses, travel time, speed, capacity and cycle time) only waiting time was in accordance with the reference. For the passengers characteristics dominated by women, age range 36-45 years old, live in Lubuk Buaya urban village, private employee occupation, salary range <Rp. 500,000, do not have personal vehicle, the distance from the house to the bus stop is about 500m-1 km, work trip destination, reach the departure bus stop and final destination on foot, the time took from the departure to the destination is <5 minutes, the location of the departure stop is at the Lubuk Buaya bus stop, the destination area is Lubuk Buaya urban village, and the reasons for choosing the bus are because of the safety and the convenience of the bus
The Control System and External Control of Organization
This paper aims to discuss control - a function in an organization – by relooking some works in control system and external control of the organization. A classical work of Pfeffer and Salancik (1978) becomes an important basic source in this review paper discussing the external control of the organization from a resource dependence perspective. Luckily, Dill (1981) reviewed this ten chapters book giving a basic understanding of the control function of the organization. Dill also offered a term of the environment of an organization, the one that might be understood before understanding about the organization. Another important source comes from Eilon’s (1996) work which provides a theoretical framework on the basic concept of identifying and classifying of the administration control system. The more recent works in the control system strengthen this review paper such as Chenhall (2003) that provides a critical review of findings from contingency-based studies relating to the management control system (MCS), and Gillan (2006) describing corporate governance as another aspect in control function of management. This paper ends with concluded recommendations to answer the curiosity in understanding the organization and its environment and the external control of the organization.
Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan pengendalian atau control - suatu fungsi dalam organisasi – dengan melihat kembali beberapa karya tulis dalam sistem pengendalian dan pengendalian eksternal organisasi. Karya Pfeffer dan Salanic (1978) menjadi bahan yang penting dalam makalah ini yang mendiskusikan pengendalian eksternal suatu organisasi dengan perspektif keterikatan sumber daya. Beruntung, bahwa Dill (1981) membahas buku yang terdiri atas sepuluh bab ini dan memberikan pemahaman mendasar mengenai fungsi pengendalian dalam organisasi. Dill juga memperkenalkan istilah lingkungan organisasi, sesuatu yang perlu dipahami terlebih dahulu sebelum membahas lebih lanjut tentang organisasi. Sumber bahan penting lain berasal dari karya Eilon (1996) yang memberikan kerangka teoretis sebagai konsep dasar dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan sistem pengendalian administrasi. Karya lebih baru yang digunakan dalam makalah ini adalah Chenhall (2003) yang memberikan pandangan kritis dari temuan studi contingency based dalam sistem pengendalian manajemen (MCS), dan Gillan (2006) yang menjelaskan tentang corporate governance sebagai aspek lain dalam fungsi pengendalian manajemen. Makalah ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi yang memberikan jawaban atas pemahaman tentang organisasi dan lingkungannya serta pengendalian eksternal organisasi
Analisa Pengaruh Beban Kendaraan Terhadap Kerusakan dan Umur Rencana Jalan
The Km-18 of Padang Bypass Road is an Arterial road class III-A. This road is burdened by heavy vehicles which carrying loads that exceed the permitted capacity. This activity can lead to road damage and a reduction in road life. This study aims to analyze the effect of traffic loads that exceed permitted capacity on road conditions, including the remaining life of the pavement and the degree of road damage. The primary data used is data on road damage conditions such as the discharge of road surface grains, potholes, and grooves. Secondary data used is in the form of LHR data for 2017 and 2018, also, the vehicle weight data obtained from P2JN West Sumatra Province. The analytical approach uses the 1993 AASHTO method in the form of a cumulative analysis of the 10-year ESAL plan, by the traffic design for flexible pavement. The result of this study indicates that the Km-18 of Padang Bypass Road has decreased 7.58% of its design life in 2020. The cumulative plan ESAL value is 70,792,016.05 and the cumulative ESAL overloading value is 192,394,000.9. The Truck factor (TF) in normal condition is 0.8176692, but in overloading condition, it is 6.1375255. The road life predicted to be ended in year 4 (in 2024), although it planned to end in 2027
The Influence of Leadership and Work Discipline on The Employees' Performance at PT Tri Centrum Fortuna
The research aims to determine the analysis of leadership and work discipline of employees' performance.The research used a quantitative method, conducted on 60 employees of PT Tri Centrum Fortuna, withsaturation or total sampling because the study participants were all employees; 60 people in total. The studyused primary data and secondary data. The data collection methods were observations, interviews,questionnaires, literature studies, and documentation studies. The data analysis used multiple linearregression to prove research hypotheses. The data was processed using SPSS 22 to meet the validity test,reliability, and classical assumption tests. The result shows that leadership positively and significantlyinfluences employee performance, with t calculate 4,498 > 2,003 and the significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.Work discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, with t count 3,508 > 2,003and the significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. Leadership, work motivation, and work discipline have positiveinfluence simultaneously and significantly on employee performance; it is known that f count 29,319 > 2.77and significant level of 0.000 < 0,05
Modifikasi Mesin Pengupas Kulit Pinang Kering
Due to the weaknesses of some existing areca peelers, some modifications were made. Modifications were made to the gear stripper, the addition of the inlet funnel, the gear stripper cover, and the exit funnel. The purpose of this modification of the design of the areca nut peeling machine is to make it easier for areca-producing farmers to peel their skin. Engine design specifications, using a 1/2 HP motor with a speed of 1500 rpm, 2-inch, and 10-inch pulleys, and a capacity of 5.16 kg/hour. The result of this modification is stated to be able to perform stripping with a large capacity. This machine is expected to be able to meet the needs of manual areca nut peelers to increase productivity
Analisis Tingkat Pelayanan Terminal Bandar Laksamana Indragiri
Terminal Bandara Laksamana Indragiri (BLI) merupakan salah satu terminal Tipe B yang berada di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Terminal ini mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2012 namun saat ini belum optimal dalam memberikan pelayanan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai tingkat kelayakan terminal BLI sehingga mampu memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik. Hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam peningkatan kinerja terminal. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan penilaian adalah analisis Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), SWOT, Load Factor, kelayakan terminal dan kesesuaian Standar Pelayanan Minimal (SPM). Berdasarkan hasil IPA didapatkan rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian pelayanan terminal BLI adalah 58,61%. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan kondisi terminal berada di kuadran 1 dan nilai Load factor 60-100%. Analisis kelayakan terminal menunjukkan bahwa aksesibilitas menjadi permasalahan utama. Untuk Analisis SPM didapatkan hasil bahwa kondisi fasilitas pelayanan memerlukan perbaikan ringan dan perawatan secara berkala
Identifikasi Risiko Menggunakan IBPRP dan JSA Berdasarkan PERMEN PUPR NO. 21 Tahun 2019 (Studi Kasus: Pekerjaan Struktur Fondasi Pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Layanan Pembelajaran Fakultas ISIP Universitas Jendral Soedirman Purwokerto)
ABSTRACT
Construction project of building frequently has risk. Often occurring risk often is job accident. Job accident may be one of causes inhibiting project job activity. According to the data of Social Health Organizing Agency for labor, the job accident rate was 130.926 in 2017. Application of a good Construction Safety Management System is expectable to minimize resulting risk probability. This study used method of Danger Identification and Opportunity Risk Assessment (IBPRP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) deriving from PURR Government Regulation Number 21/2019. This study aimed at finding IBPRP and JSA designs as well as analogy of problem identification and control variables of foundation job in the Construction Project of Learning Service Building (FISIP) of General Soedirman University of Purworejo. The results of IBPRP and JSA analysis indicated that risk identification and risk rate of foundation job in construction project of Learning Service Building (FISIP) of General Soedirman University of Purwokerto, the foundation job had 48 risks identified from 11 job sequences. All of the 49 identified risks were in low risk rate, where rate value of matrix 2 (two) and 14 risks had rate value of matrix 4 (four).

Perancangan Mesin Press Tahu Sistem Pnuematik Dengan Kapasitas 50 Kg
This pneumatic system tofu press machine is a press machine that is used to compress tofu starch with a capacity of 50 kg to make tofu that is ready to be marketed. The pneumatic system tofu press machine is made to make it easier to press tofu. Previously, tofu was pressed manually, namely by using a stone as a tofu press which resulted in the length of the tofu compaction process. Pressing with stones can also cause work accidents. This tofu press machine uses pneumatics as a punch driver which will press the tofu. The way this tofu machine works is by pressing the on button on the machine then the punch will move down towards the tofu essence and press the tofu. Punch paused for a moment to make sure the tofu blended in perfectly. Then press the off button on the machine to return the punch to its original position. This pneumatic system tofu press machine can reduce work accidents, lighten work, shorten processing time and is also more hygienic because it uses air as a punch driver
