    Pemanfaatan Material Baja X-Ses Di Kota Cilegon Sebagai Material Bilah Golok Banten

    Sulangkar machetes is one of the typical Banten machetes that have strong cultural values. Sulangkar means “sulang” and “sekar” which means stacked with two different materials. The lack of raw materials is a problem in the process of making sulangkar machetes. In this study, the combination of SS400 Steel and Leaf Spring Steel was observed for its mechanical properties as the raw material for Sulangkar machetes. In this study, Sulangkar machetes material consists of three layers of material, two layers of SS400 steel and leaf-spring steel inserted in the middle. The three-layers material are forged after being heated to a temperature of 750°C in a furnace. The material that has been forged then tested for tensile strength, toughness and hardness. The results of the tensile test showed that the leaf spring steel has the highest strength value of 1324.52 Mpa. The results of the Impact test show that the SS400 material has the highest Impact value of 163 J. The hardness test results show that the combination material has the highest hard value of 716.89 HBW

    Kaji Eksperimen Terhadap Penggunaan Bahan Bakar Emulsi Pada Burner

    The purpose of this study was to observe the combustion of diesel fuel combined with the percentage volume of water and emulsifier, namely alkyl benzene sulfonic acid (ABS). The emulsion fuel composition used in this experimental study is a mixture of diesel fuel, emulsion and water. The composition of the emulsion fuel is designed according to the percentage of water volume and the emulsifier in diesel fuel with a variation of the percentage of 10%, 20%, and 30%. The parameters observed were combustion flame temperature, combustor annulus wall temperature, hot gas temperature, air fuel ratio (AFR), heat loss, and flame shape from differences in the composition of the percentage volume of emulsion fuel. In this test using Combustion Laboratory Unit C 491. The results showed that the heat absorbed due to cooling (Qa) in the AFR stoichiometry of diesel fuel (diesel) 26.334 kW was smaller than emulsion fuel (30.096 kW), so the use of emulsion fuel on the Burner Combustion Laboratory Unit C 49 is very suitable. The shape of the flame produced by the combustion of emulsion fuel is short, turbulent, and covered in water vapor

    Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 orang guru.  Hasil diskusi dengan pihak pengelola Pondok Pesantren diperoleh data bahwa usia pengajar beragam dan kemampuan mengoperasikan komputer juga tidak merata. Sehingga diputuskan kegiatan pelatihan dan  pendampingan  difokuskan pada satu LMS dari dua yang direncanakan yaitu Google Class Room (GCR).  Sebagai salah satu bentuk metode pembelajaran Asynchronous, GCR dinilai lebih aplikatif untuk diadopsi guru-guru di PP Thawalib.  Materi pelatihan lain adalah mengelola pembelajaran Synchronous dengan Google Meet dan pembuatan Google Form untuk memudahkan pemberian  tugas dan  ujian bagi para santri.             Hasil Program kemitraan mampu meningkatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik guru-guru peserta pelatihan dalam  hal berikut yaitu (1) pemahaman tantang model pembelajaran remote learning, (2) peningkatan motivasi untuk lebih adaptif terhadap tuntutan era digital saat ini dan antisipasi mitigasi dampak Covid-19, (3) mengelola LMS menggunakan Google Class Room, (4) membuat alat assessment online  yang beragam untuk santri menggunakan Google Form dan (5) melakukan model pembelajaran synchronous menggunakan media Google Meet.     Many of the damage in road construction occurred because the soil did not have a good bearing capacity, therefore soil improvement was needed to increase the strength of the soil. One of the damaged roads that occur due to the lack of soil bearing capacity is at Priyayi Mosque Village Road, Kasemen District, Serang City which has a low carrying capacity with a CBR value of 1.99%. In this study, several tests were carried out, soil physical and California Bearing Ratio test. Soil physical tests carried out were water content, soil density, grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction test and, CBR with the addition of slag cement with variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% based on Variation of optimum wet side moisture content. The result of soil physical properties testing obtained the type of soil is an organic clay with high plasticity. The results of the California Bearing Ratio test on the original soil had a CBR value of 2.4% and there was an increase to the optimum at the addition of 15% Slag Cement in 0 and 3 days of curing with a CBR value of 11.2% and 15.25%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the cement slag content of 15% with 3 days of curing time can increase the bearing capacity of the soil and fulfill the requirements as a good road subgrad

    To produce good performance, construction consulting service business actors must know how to managetheir business finances. A construction consultant service business with good performance will have highcompetitiveness. To make this happen, qualified human resources are needed. This study aims to explore theinfluence of financial management and human resource competence on the performance of constructionconsulting services. The population in this study were all construction consultant service owners in PadangCity who were registered in INKINDO West Sumatra and PERKINDO West Sumatra. This study used 111samples using the Slovin formula in determining the number of research samples and the sampling techniqueused was simple random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by distributingquestionnaires to all construction consultant service owners. To answer the research hypothesis usinganalysis tools, namely multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial management had apositive effect on the performance of construction consulting services, while human resource competence hadno effect on the performance of construction consulting service

    Third junction of Sungai Bengkel was a Signalized Intersection which a hasn’t have traffic jam ,which has three approach, are North approach, West approach and East approach. However, the alinyemen for the North approach has problems that make it difficult for vehicles, especially four-wheelers to turn because the effect bottle neck resulting in the slow motion of the vehicle and change of phase time . the problem solving, the evalution of traffic light and intersection geometry were carried out by widening  the alinyemen for the North approach and East approaches and doing changes in cycle time. The purpose of evaluating the performance of traffic light and Geometrics at the third intersection of Sungai Bengkel is to determine the value of the degree of saturation and to know the performance of the intersection.At the intersection planning, it refers to the PKJI 2014 for Intersection Performance, while for the Geometrics it refers to Module 4 of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing on Geometric Planning of Plane Intersections.Based on  the calculation results of the Sungai Bengkel junction performance indicate that, the degree of  saturation  < 0.85,which is 0.529 for North,  0.537 for East, and 0.570  for West .With the radius is 15 m, and the cycle  time of traffic light 50 second, with the delay time  as long as 17 second/pc

    Pupuk organik cair adalah larutan hasil pembusukkan bahan-bahan organik yang berasal dari sisa tanaman, kotoran hewan dan manusia yang kandungan unsur haranya lebih dari satu unsur. Kelebihan dari pupuk organik cair ini adalah dapat secara cepat mengatasi defesiensi hara dan mampu  menyediakan hara secara cepat. Pupuk organik cair tidak merusak tanah dan tanaman walaupun digunakan sesering mungkin.Selain itu, pupuk ini juga memiliki bahan pengikat, sehingga larutan pupuk yang diberikan ke permukaan tanah bisa digunakan tanaman secara langsung. Diantara jenis pupuk organik cair adalah pupuk dari sampah dapur/limbah organic dengan penambahan EM4. EM4 (Effective Microorganisms) merupakan bahan yang membantu mempercepat proses pembuatan pupuk organic dan memperbaiki kualitasnya (Nur, T dkk, 2016). Pupuk ini mudah dibuat dan tidak memerlukan biaya besar. Oleh sebab itu sangat tepat jika kalangan akademisi mensosialisasikan pembuatan pupuk ini pada anak-anak Panti Asuhan. Karena pada umumnya setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan SMA/SMK, mereka akan langsung melangkah ke dunia kerja dan tidak melanjutkan pendidikan ke Perguruan Tinggi, karena kendala biaya. Melihat lapangan kerja yang ada, akan sangat sulit bagi mereka untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang baik dan layak. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dapat memberikan wawasan, meningkatkan ketrampilan/skill dan menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha bagi anak-anak Panti Asuhan.     The design of this Vacuum and Packaging Machine is made in order to increase the sale value and service life for processed Oyster Mushroom products. Not only that, this machine can do packaging in a short time and efficiently. This machine consists of Frame, Vacuum Motor, Impulse Sealer, Vacuum Clamp. This Vacuum and Packaging Machine has dimensions of length 700 mm x width 500 mm x height 700 mm. The impulse sealer used is Arashi Ais 400 type by using a VE115N 2 CFM type vacuum motor. From this vacuum motor will later be connected to the vacuum clamp as a tool to clamp the packaging during the process of vacuuming the air in the package. This machine is equipped with a limit switch on the vacuum clamp that works to connect the current to the vacuum motor so that the vacuum motor automatically turns on. The operation of this vacuum and packaging machine is quite simple by inserting the packaging containing the product into the sealer and at the end of the package clamped on the vacuum clamp, the vacuum motor will automatically turn on, the next step is to operate the impulse sealer so that the product is finished packed under vacuum. From the design results, the bending stress of the frame is 3.172 N / mm2, the working time of the vacuum and sealer is 1.54 s per package, and the estimated price of the machine is Rp. 1,879,00

    The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the value of tensile strength, impact and microstructure test results on ST 37 steel plates due to variations in current strength of 80 A, 85 A and 90 A and 1G, 2G and 3G welding positions. The results of this study show the value of Max.load, current strength of 80 A 3G welding position gets the highest value of 5650 kgf, value of Tinsile strength, current strength of 80 A 3G welding position gets the highest value of 44.78 (kgf/mm2), then the strain value, the current strength of 80 A for the 3G welding position gets the highest value of 0.9% and the value of the modulus of elasticity, the current strength of 80 A for the 3G welding position gets the highest value of 97.94 (GPa,KN/mm2), In the value of the impact test results, the current strength of 80 A is the 1G welding position that gets the highest value, which is 116 Joules.     In the Bukittinggi City Hospital building which has 6 floors, there is a water pump and a reservoir used to supply clean water for daily needs. Based on the reality in the field where there is no secondary data to determine the type of pump and reservoir. The purpose of this analysis is to obtain clean water discharge requirements, obtain the type of pump and ensure that the reservoir used for building C RSUD Kota Bukittinggi is in accordance with the type of pipe and reservoir installed in building C, floor 6. By using field studies and interviews and applying the formulas related to pump calculations. In determining the type of pump to be used in the building, it includes the required water discharge, determining the capacity of the components to be used such as pipe diameter, water tank capacity on the ground floor and roof of the building and the total head on the pipe. Based on the calculation results, the required water discharge is 0.08333 m 3 /min, the upper reservoir has a capacity of 150,000 liters, the bottom reservoir is 5,000 liters and the Hot that occurs is 18.429 m. Then the required pump specifications are 40 x 32B2 -51.5 Grundfos CM 10-3. The pump specifications are not much different from those that have been applied in the field
