    Bakso is a type of chicken meat ball that is commonly found in Indonesian cuisine. Currently, chicken meatballs are one of the processed chicken meat products that have a particular taste. The biggest energy contribution comes from protein, which reaches 60 percent, followed by fat as much as 38% and carbohydrates as much as 2%. The high public demand for processed products such as chicken meatballs has resulted in most shops, from stalls, school canteens, grocery stores, to supermarkets selling chicken meatballs. Before the existence of modern meat grinding machines, the process of grinding chicken meat was very difficult, but now, with advances in technology, there are many grinding machines on the market that simplify the process of grinding meat. The business of making and selling chicken meatballs has attracted the interest of several community business groups with small and medium scale businesses. In order for the business of producing and selling chicken to meet public demand both in terms of quantity and in terms of quality, good planning and management is needed. The design method used includes grinding machine product design. The result of the design that has been done is the output diameter of the meat with a size of 5 mm with the appropriate results (fine on average). Where the diameter of 2 mm and 3 mm produces chicken meat that comes out very slowly and is very smooth and causes the meat to melt and the chicken meat comes out fast and smooth. Thus, it can be concluded that a chicken meat grinder machine can grind 1 kg of chicken meat in 1 minute and the appropriate output hole size is 5 mm with a smooth and fast output of chicken meat

    The axle shaft is a component of the power transfer system which often experiences mechanical failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of fatigue and hardness of metal shafts with variations in frictional load as information on friction welding recommendations on metal shafts. The research method used is the experimental method, which is a way to compare specimens with variations in friction welding loads of 2 kg, 4 kg, and 6 kg using the Rockwell method of hardness testing and fatigue testing using a rotary bending machine. From the research results it is recommended that friction welding on metal axle shafts can be carried out with a friction load of 6 kg because from the results of the fatigue test SPBG6 has the highest average fatigue strength compared to SPBG2 and SPBG4. This was reinforced by the results of the SPBG6 hardness test which showed the lowest hardness level for the parent metal at 80.44 HRA

    Mitra pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Usaha Empat Putra yang berlokasi di Jalan Cupak Tangah 29, Cupak Tangah, Kec. Pauh, Padang, Sumatera Barat. Mitra ini merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang belum produktif secara ekonomi yang mengarah menjadi usahawan. Usaha masyarakat ini sudah menjalankan produksi paving block dari tahun 2009. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas produksi paving block agar sesuai standar SNI. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdi Teknik Sipil Masyarakat Politeknik Negeri Padang akan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan percontohan terhadap pemanfaatan pasir silika pada campuran paving block. Penggunaan pasir silika pada campuran paving block sebelumnya telah pernah diteliti olah kelompok tim yang sama pada tahun 2021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, mutu kuat tekan menggunakan pasir silika dengan komposisi 1:2:2 (1 bagian semen, 2 bagian pasir silika, 2 bagian kerikil alam) lebih baik dibandingkan dengan variasi lainnya dengan hasil 18,2 MPa. Sementara hasil uji kuat tekan mitra selama ini baru berkisar pada kuat tekan K175 atau sekitar 14,5 MPa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan menjadi solusi terhadap kebutuhan mitra akan material yang baru yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas produksi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan lansung mengenai penggunaan pasir silika sebagai bahan campuran paving block

    Rangakaian Frequency Radio (FM) sederhana telah digunakan untuk memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Modul terdiri dari rangkaian yang mudah dipahami dengan menampilkan bentuk komponen asli pada rangkaian. Siswa telah diberikan materi dan video animasi yang membantu siswa meningkatkan pemahanan dan melakukan aktifitas merakit rangkaian  pada papan percobaan (breadboard). Hasil pretest dan postest kegiatan pemgabdian ini telah mampu meningkatakan pemahaman siswa dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika terutama materi kelistrikan dan kemagnetan

    Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu memecahkan permasalahan Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X dalam bentuk, a. Membantu membenahi administrasi data santri dan pelaporan keuangan Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X, b. Membantu memfasilitasi pembuatan rekening donasi atas nama Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X untuk memudahkan penyaluran donasi dari donatur, c. Membuatkan brosur terkait kegiatan Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X dengan memuat rekening donasi rumah tahfidz yang bisa disebarluaskan melalui media sosial, sehingga bisa menjangkau calon donatur dari berbagai kalangan yang lebih luas.  Masyarakat target kegiatan ini adalah Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X merupakan  program  pengembangan dakwah Yayasan Nurul Ilmi untuk memasyarakatkan Al Qur’an kepada generasi penerus sejak usia dini, dengan fokus kegiatan pada membaca dan menghafal Al Qur’an dengan metode talaqqi.  Luaran yang telah dicapai sesuai dengan target yang telah direncanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah, terciptanya administrasi data santri dan pelaporan keuangan Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X yang baik, terbentuknya rekening donasi atas nama Rumah Tahfidz Nurul Ilmi X untuk memudahkan menampung bantuan dana dari donatur baik yang berasal dari individu maupun institusi. &nbsp

    Lapisan AC-WC merupakan lapisan rentan terhadap kerusakan akibat temperatur tinggi dan beban lalu lintas berat. Penggunaan aspal modifikasi seperti aspal PEN 60/70 dicampur dengan aspal PG 76 merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan dari perkerasan jalan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan campuran dengan stabilitas yang baik pada teperatur yang tinggi dan beban lalu lintas berat. Untuk menganalisa kinerja campuran yang dihasilkan menggunakan aspal modifikasi dilakukan metoda Marshall Immersion. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisa kinerja dari campuran AC-WC menggunakan aspal PEN 60/70, aspal PEN 60/70 yang dicampur dengan aspal PG 76 dan aspal PG 76 terhadap temperature tinggi dan beban lalu lintas berat. Kadar Aspal Optimim pada campuran aspal PEN 60/70 didapat nilai 6,37%, campuran aspal aspal PEN 60/70 dicampur PG 76 didapat nilai 6,5% dan untuk aspal PG 76 didapat nilai 6,6%. Pengujian Marshall Immersion dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) pada campuran dengan peredaman 30 menit dan 24 jam pada temperatur 60oC untuk mengetahui durabilitas aspal bertahan dari pengaruh temperature dan beban lalu lintas berat

    The tidal wave of seawater is one of the critical factors in port planning related to determining elevation. This research aimed to assess the effect of a tidal wave in the planning of port elevation at the Port of Tanjung Uncang so that the ship's estimated time can be determined. The research method is quantitatively based on primary data from PT. Graha Trisaka Industri and field observations. The results showed that the types of tides at Tanjung Uncang port were mixed tides, prevailing semi diurnal, which experienced two high tides and two low tides in one day. The highest sea level elevation (HHWS) occurred at 354.8 cm (+166.2 cm from MSL) and the lowest low sea level elevation occurred at -20 cm (-186.2 cm from MSL)

    Carbon Fiber Reinforced Epoxy is a material that is widely used in the manufacture of prosthesis structures. In this research, the carbon fiber used is plain weave-type carbon, while the matrix used is LY5052 epoxy, LY5052 epoxy has advantages such as low viscosity and long pot life making it possible to manufacture large-sized prostheses. The first step in this research is making specimens using the vacuum infusion method and then cutting the specimens with dimensions referring to ASTM D3039. Furthermore, tensile test experiments were carried out with the results obtained that the maximum stress () was 537.15 MPa. As an evaluation, a tensile test simulation was carried out with Finite element analysis using Abaqus software, the material properties used were the results of a tensile test experiment, in the process the mesh selection was carried out by input sizing control many times this was done to determine the accuracy of the results. The tensile test simulation results with abaqus software are 523.3 MPa when compared to the experimental, the difference is only 2.58%. based on experimental and simulation results, the mechanical properties of the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Epoxy LY5052 Composite material are almost the same, so that in the manufacture of prosthesis the mechanical properties data in this study can be used when performing numerical analysis in the prosthesis design process

The purpose of this study is to determine changes in compression ratio, torque, power and fuel consumption, after replacing the piston. The test was carried out on a 2006 Honda Tiger, with a standard piston specification with a diameter of 64.5 mm (flat surface) and replaced with a 64.5 mm pro newtech piston (convex surface) by using Pertamax 92 fuel. The results obtained from the comparison of the compression value of 1, 6 : 1, 12.65 ft-lbs of torque, and 2.87 ft-lbs of power so that fuel consumption increases by 5.685

    Pengaruh Shopping Lifestyle, Fashion Involvement dan Hedonic Shopping Motivation terhadap Perilaku Impulse Buying

    This study aims to determine how the influence of shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, hedonic shopping motivation on impulse buying behavior. Where this research is motivated as a result of the high use of marketplace sites which causes people's behavior towards unplanned purchases (impulse buying) to also increase. The increase in impulse buying behavior in this study was influenced by 3 (three) factors, namely shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, and hedonic shopping motivation. This research design uses an explanatory research approach and a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The respondents of this research are people from the Batam city area who have used the Shopee application. And the number of respondents in this study were 100 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with testing using SPSS Version 20 software. The partial results show that shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, has no significant effect on impulse buying behavior, while hedonic shopping motivation has an effect on impulse buying behavior.
