Increasing Tourist Visits Through Ecotourism Elements, Electronic Word of Mouth and Destination Image
This study aims to examine the effect of ecotourism elements, electronic word of mouth and destination image on visit decisions. This study is an explanatory research with quantitative methods. The object of this study is the Harau Valley Area, Lima Puluh Kota Regency in West Sumatra. The non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling was used to determine the sample for this research. The sample of this study were respondents aged more than 18 years who had visited and accessed information related to the Harau Valley tourist attraction through the website and various existing social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and others. This research utilizes primary data obtained through field research by distributing questionnaires directly to 170 visitors in the Harau Valley Tourism Area. Multiple linear regression were used as the test tools for this study. The data was processed using the SPSS program.The results show that there are significant influence between ecotourism elements, electronic word of mouth and destination image on visit decision.
 
Rancang Bangun Pembangkit Listrik Pikohidro Menggunakan Turbin Screw Pada Aliran Danau PCR
Picohydro is a power plant that produces 5 kW of power which consists of 3 components, namely air flow, turbine, and generator to convert maximum energy into electrical energy. Picohydro is an alternative power plant as a substitute for fossil fuel power plants (diesel and gasoline). The PCRlake flow has a flow of 0.019 m3/s which can be used as a potential source of energy to generate electricity, where the tools used are screw turbines, V-belt transmission, and DC generators. The results of the design of the screw turbine that are made have a turbine length specification of 1,140.5 mm, an outside diameter of 419.4 mm, an inside diameter of 225 mm, a turbine pitch of 503.2 mm, a number of blade turns 2 pieces, a turbine angle of 26o, a thread angle of 21o, and a head of 0.5 m. For the transmission, there are 2 type A -V belts that connect the turbine rotation to the DC generator rotation. The results obtained that the theoretical power available in the PCR lake flow is 95.01 watts. The average rotation produced by the 1,398 rpm generator is able to stably turn on as many as 6 DC lamps with a total load of 60 watts. By testing the DC lamp load, a total load of 60 watts produces a generator power of 29.14 watts, a screw turbine power of 34.08 watts. By testing using a braking system at turbine rotation it produces a maximum torque of 13.12 Nm with a screw turbine power of 46.70 watts and a turbine mechanical efficiency of 49.16%

This study aims to analyze the effect of differences in tire pressure on brake testing at the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Motor Vehicle Testing, Solok Regency, the implementation of this analysis is to find the efficiency and deviation of the braking force on the tool. Test Brake Tester as well as the condition and calibration of the Brake Tester optimally so that the results of the test equipment are accurate so as to reduce errors in the test results. This research was conducted at the Motor Vehicle Testing Building, Solok Regency, with this research it is expected to be able to find the effect of differences in tire pressure on the efficiency and storage of the braking force. From the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that different tire pressures affect the efficiency and deviation of the braking force on the Brake Tester, so it is necessary to check the tires regularly and once a year calibration of the test equipment must be carried out correctly
Peningkatan Kompetensi Siswa Bintara Polri dalam Penggunaan Perangkat Lunak Perkantoran dan Multimedia
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakasanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada siswa bintara polri yang sedang bertugas di Polsek Pauh pelatihan diikuti oleh 23 peserta. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama satu hari yang dibagi dalam 4 sesi pelatihan. Sesi pertama dilaksanakan pelatihan microsoft word, kemudian pelatihan microsoft excel, microsoft power point dan terakhir pelatihan editing video. Setelah pelatihan dilaksanakan kemudian dilaksanakan evaluasi kepuasan peserta terhadap materi, instruktur dan fasilitas. Kesulitan dalam memahami kepemimpinan sekaligus memiliki jiwa pemimpin menjadi salah satu masalah penting diantara mahasiswa. Pemahaman atas jiwa leadership yang dimilii oleh dirinya akan membawa dampak yang signifikan terhadap kehidupannya terlebih dalam menjalankan sebuah organisasi kampus, sehingga diperlukan upaya memupuk jiwa kepemimpinan yang dapat diterapkan dan diimplementasikan untuk menjalankan roda organisasi di kampus. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa proses yaitu tahapan perencanaan, tahapan assessment, tahapan pelaksanaan, dan tahapan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan cukup dapat memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman para peserta pelatihan untuk memahami materi yang disampaikan. Pengembangan Sistem Pendingin Cold Box Penyimpanan Ikan Dengan Pemanfaatan Pcm
One of the technologies in the refrigeration system to improve power and cost efficiency is to utilize technology to overcome this problem is to use phase change materials (PCM) to replace standard refrigerants. The purpose of this study is an attempt to reduce the operational cost of fish storage with a cold box cooling system for fish storage by utilizing PCM. The method used in this research is the experimental method. From the results of the study obtained data using a variation of 2 PCM compressor takes 219.7 minutes when mode ON for 7 hours of testing, variation 4 PCM compressor takes 202.7 minutes when mode ON for 7 hours of testing, variation 6 PCM takes 177.4 minutes when mode ON for 7 hours of testing. With this variation 6 PCMs are more optimal in helping to reduce compressor working time. The more the number of PCMs placed in the cold box can help reduce the compressor on/off cycle and the electrical energy required by the compressor is more efficient, the most efficient variation is the 6 PCM variation with a power efficiency of 15.31%. With the use of PCM can save operational costs up to 59.54% compared to using ice blocks. The design of cold boxes using PCM will benefit after 3 months of use compared to using block ice
The Analysis of Loosening of Bolt Connection Due to Structural Vibration Through Changes in Dynamic Characteristics
Bolted joints are generally used to connect two or more mechanical structures due to their ease of assembly and disassembly for maintenance. However, the problem of vibration is one of the main challenges when the tightness of the bolted joints is insufficient, causing failures such as looseness and resulting in disconnection. Looseness is the most common cause of dynamically loaded bolted joint structure failure. This study tested a simple bolt joint structure to observe the looseness indication of the bolt joint after it was vibrated using a shaker in a single-frequency excitation. A freely fixed beam consisting of two beams connected by a bolt and subjected to varying bolt tightening torques. Then the response measurement is carried out by recording the FRF graph obtained from loosening and tightening bolt torque effects. Modal parameters such as personal frequency and damping ratio were collected through experimental modal analysis (EMA). It was found that the structure’s vibration could change the conditions of loosening or lower tightening torque indicated by shifting the structure’s natural frequency. In addition, the damping characteristics are also affected by changes in the tightening torque. Especially when conditions are loose, the damping ratio becomes much higher than that of tightening
Social Commerce Investigation: The Role of Satisfaction and Loyalty on Repurchase Intention
This study aims to find evidence of the effect of satisfaction and loyalty on repurchase intentions in social commerce through social exchange theory. This research focuses on five variables: reputation, information quality, satisfaction, loyalty, and repurchase intention. This research is motivated by satisfaction, which is not optimal in shaping repurchase intentions. Loyalty is an aspect of novelty in this research. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques support this research through online questionnaires. The data used in this study are primary as many as 219 respondents. Data processing analysis uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and is supported by SPSS 25 and IBM AMOS 22 software. This study's results indicate that satisfaction significantly affects loyalty and repurchase intentions in social commerce. The results also found that loyalty has no significant effect on repurchase intentions. Satisfaction is an important factor for a user to have the intention to repurchase in the same place. A good reputation and quality information social commerce provides influence this.
 
Analisis dan Perkuatan Kolom Baja Struktural Akibat Beban Gempa Menggunakan HBeam
Evaluation or study of existing building structures must consider the strength and stiffness of structural components due to gravity loads and earthquake loads. The strengthening to the existing Hbeam column structure is to add steel plates to the existing Hbeam column. This method is a way to improve structural performance due to earthquake loads in terms of ease of implementation, time and cost when compared to replacing or adding new structural components. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengthening of Hbeam column steel plate due to seismic loads. Parameters analyzed were vibration period, lateral displacement and internal forces due to earthquake loads. This research is a quantitative analytical research, where the geometry data of the 3D frame portal structure is determined independently, while the material and loading data are based on (SNI 1727:2013) and (SNI 1729:2019). The 3D frame portal is modeled and analyzed using finite element based software, ETABS software. The results of the analysis show that the strengthening of the Hbeam column by adding a steel plate to the existing Hbeam column which is installed horizontally in the middle of the cross section with dimensions of 15 mm thick and 145 mm long (18.59% of the cross-sectional area of the Hbeam column) increases the stiffness of the structure by 12.01% and 14.2% respectively - for vibration period and lateral drift, respectively. The lateral displacement is smaller than the allowable lateral displacement with a drift ratio of less than 130%, so the structure does not experience a soft story. The average maximum internal forces (moment, shear and axial force) due to the earthquake load of the column structure with reinforcement increased by 12.50%, 9.68% and 14.01% respectively compared to the structure without strengthening along with the addition of dimensions to the existing Hbeam column
Strategic Business Decision-Making On Talent Management Scenarios To Support The Vision Of Growing Into A Large-Scale Company (Case Study Of G Communications Agency)
In the communications consultation or agency, people or talents are the bread and butter of the company since they play crucial roles in setting up the collaboration scheme, quality of service, and the company’s culture. Therefore, talent management becomes significantly crucial for the company to strive. G Communications agency is a local agency in Jakarta that has a vision to be a large-scale company but is facing difficulties particularly in its talent management since most of its talents are in contract-based employment. This study aims to help the company determine the best hiring scheme from the three alternatives derived from cost and benefit analysis and later being calculated using SMART method. The result shows that alternative 1 with highest cost and value, and alternative 3 with lowest cost and value were performing below the trend line. Meanwhile, alternative 2 as the intermediate choice was performing above the trend line. The sensitive analysis also shows that despite changes in the weight for each group, the ranking of each alternative remains unchanged. Therefore, can be concluded that the alternatives are not sensitive nor easily perturbed by the change of the aggregate of the weighted value
