    Dependence on fossil fuels is one of the most serious threats to the global environment. In addition, petroleum reserves are also decreasing. Meanwhile, the level of oil consumption is always increasing to meet the demand for fuel. Economical and sustainable alternative energy solutions are essential to meet the growing global energy demand without compromising environmental sustainability. One type of alternative fuel that shows very promising potential is biofuel, especially biodiesel. Biodiesel has potential as a more environmentally friendly alternative to diesel fuel, but its low combustion rate and higher viscosity compared to conventional diesel fuel present technical challenges that need to be overcome. The different chemical properties of butanol from biodiesel allow it to have a positive impact on combustion characteristics, such as viscosity, flash point, heating value, and combustion rate. The combustion characteristics that will be studied in this research using single droplet combustion testing include droplet visualization to measure the dimensions of the flame, temperature during the combustion process recorded by a thermocouple, data logger, and video recording during the combustion process to obtain information regarding the ignition delay value. The test steps were repeated five times for each fuel variation and then averaged.  In this study, the samples tested included pure diesel, diesel blend with 10% butanol, diesel blend with 20% butanol, diesel blend with 30% butanol, diesel blend with 40% butanol and diesel blend with 50% butanol. From this study, the visualization of the flame is obtained, where the combustion of pure diesel oil droplets has a higher and wider flame, while the flame of the butanol diesel mixture produces a flame whose maximum height is lower than pure diesel oil.     Manggarai Station serves as a transit hub for both commuter and airport trains, making it the busiest and the most crowded train station in Jakarta. This situation can lead to safety and security issues. This research was conducted to assess the safety and security facilities at Manggarai railway station and determine their compliance with the Minimum Service Standards for Railway Passenger Transport, comparing them with passengers' perceptions of the safety and security facilities. The analytical methods used in this research were crosstab analysis and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Crosstab analysis was employed to examine the relationship between respondents' socio-demographic characteristic and travel characteristics, as well as their relationship with safety and security variables at the station. IPA was used to assess the quality of safety and security facility performance at Manggarai Station based on passengers' perceptions. The research findings indicated that several safety and security facilities at Manggarai Station unable to meet the Minimum Service Standards for Railway Passenger Transport. These included wide gaps between platforms and train bodies, uneven platform and train floors, inadequate information and assembly points, and narrow and obstructed pathways within the station. According to passengers' perceptions, there were five attributes of safety and security facility performance that had low ratings: gaps between platforms and train bodies, platform and train floors, escalators, assembly points, and barriers between platforms and trains. safety, security, manggarai station, passenger perseptions, minimum service standard

    In this study, the capacity analysis of the multi mixer chopper machine was carried out with the parameters applied such as: rpm, time and input and output of the machine in terms of the weight of the input material and the output of the feed produced in order to calculate the performance and capacity of the KUB chicken feed multi mixer chopper. (Balitbangtan superior native chicken). In the process of analyzing the capacity of the multi mixer chopping machine for kub chicken feed, the preparations made include preparing tools and materials for testing, testing, data collection, analysis and proceed with drawing conclusions. In data collection, enumeration and mixing tests will be carried out, where the samples of the test materials used are vegetable waste, bran and water. The largest chopped output at the initial input with a weight of 1 kg is obtained from the engine speed of 2895 rpm with a chopped weight of 0.95 kg. A suitable ratio for the feed mix is ​​1 kg of vegetable waste, 1 kg of bran and 2 kg of water. So the capacity of the multi-mixer chopping machine is known to be 239.521 kg/hour with a material ratio of 1 kg of chopped vegetable waste, 1 kg of bran and 2 kg of water

    Dalam ajang Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi 2021 di Sirkuit Gelora Bung Karno, terjadi insiden mobil terbalik pada Mobil Marapi Evo 1 saat berlomba. Kejadian tersebut dipicu oleh bermanuver pada radius belok 6 meter dengan kecepatan maksimum yang diizinkan sebesar 5,42 m/s. Dalam upaya menganalisis permasalahan ini, spesifikasi awal dari sistem kemudi yang akan dirancang pada kendaraan ditetapkan. Selanjutnya, pengujian dilakukan melalui test drive untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sudut belok pada roda bagian dalam sebesar δ_i = 19,42° dan pada roda bagian luar sebesar δ_o = 17,52°. Gaya yang diperlukan untuk menggerakan sistem kemudi pada kondisi statis adalah sebesar 19,18 N, sementara pada kondisi dinamis adalah 7,7 N. Pada Mobil Marapi Evo 1, besar sudut inner wheel adalah 19,42°, sedangkan outer wheel adalah 17,52°. Selain itu, hubungan antara track width dan wheelbase kendaraan berdampak pada radius belok. Jika track width lebih kecil dari wheelbase, maka radius belok kendaraan akan lebih kecil. Dengan mempertimbangkan regulasi KMHE 2021 yang membatasi radius belok maksimal menjadi 8 meter atau kurang, kendaraan Mobil Marapi Evo 1 mampu mengatasi radius belok 6 meter dengan menggerakan roda kemudi sebesar 20,66°. Analisis buckling juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Kriteria keamanan didefinisikan dengan mengamati load factor pada tie rod. Jika load factor ≥ 1, maka komponen dianggap aman; sebaliknya, jika load factor < 1, maka komponen tersebut dianggap tidak aman untuk digunakan

    In this sophisticated era, the metal manufacturing process cannot be separated from welding process. Welding is a process of joining two metals using electrodes or filler metals which are commonly used in the world of fabrication and industry. Heat energy greatly affect the quality of the weld. Three parameter in heat energy is Ampere, Voltage and Heat input. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of heat input to value of hardness on materials Superduplex Stainless Steel S32750 with GTAW process welding. The hardness of the material is very important to determine the resistance of a material. In the fabrication process threre are still material that have a hardness value  that exceeds the standard value of the material manufacture. The welding process is carried out from root, hotpass, fill pass and capping with five variations of heat input to five the specimen of the test object, then do the hardness test with Vickers with a test kit portable UCI Sonodur 3. The hardness test carried out on weld metal, base metal and heat affected zone. From the analysis carried out with five variations of heat input and comparing the hardness values at each test location, a low heat input of 0.97 kJ/mm resulted in the highest average hardness value of 299.2 HV in the base metal area, the area exposed to heat (HAZ) of 265.9 HV, and the weld metal area of 229.5 HV. Based on this, it can be concluded that the hardness value in GTAW welding with low heat input has the highest hardness value compared to high heat input

    Galvanized steel sheet is a low carbon steel that is often used in the manufacturing industry, especially in the automotive industry, this is because galvanized sheet has properties that are ductile, easy to form and resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for application as a vehicle body, but low carbon steel sheet has limitations on the level of stiffness of the sheet so that it will affect comfort due to vibration when applied to vehicle construction. The stiffness of the sheet can be increased by forming a groove profile through the rolling process and increasing the thickness of the sheet so that its stiffness and natural frequency value will increase. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of trapezoidal groove formation on the natural frequency of galvanized sheet by the rolling process using a bead rolling die with variations in groove width, groove depth and sheet thickness. The research method used is the experimental method, starting with the determination of the plate dimensions, the determination of the groove width and depth, the process of making groove profiles, the measurement and analysis of the results of the natural frequency values and plate stiffness. The dimensions of the test plates were 575 mm x 600 mm with thicknesses of 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm. The results showed that the increase in natural frequency and stiffness was affected by residual stress and plate thickness. The highest frequency obtained was 330.60 Hz on a plate with a groove width of 12 mm and a groove depth of 5 mm with a thickness of 0.8 mm, this result has increased compared to a smooth plate which is only 30.76 Hz

    Animal feed is one of the essential components supporting livestock growth and development. High-quality feed can significantly enhance farm productivity. However, in the preparation of feed in powdered form, efficient machinery is often required to process raw materials into fine particles. This study aims to design and develop a multifunctional animal feed grinder capable of processing various raw materials, such as corn, rice husks, oil palm fronds, wild grass, and straw, into fine powder. The machine is designed with a power output of 4,856.95 watts, utilizing a 6.5 HP gasoline engine, and has a production capacity of 11.34 kg/hour at 3,600 rpm. The trial results demonstrated the machine's production capacity for each material per hour: corn at 32.2 kg, rice husks at 22.9 kg, oil palm fronds at 30.2 kg, wild grass at 16.5 kg, and straw at 10.8 kg. This multifunctional grinder is expected to assist farmer groups in processing animal feed more efficiently and effectively

    This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, asset management and capital structure on financial performance with company size as a moderating variable among palm oil companies listed on IDX the period 2019-2023. Financial performance as the dependent variable is proxied by ROA. The independent variables include liquidity, asset management and capital structure. The population of this study is 24 palm oil companies listed on the IDX the period 2019-2023. This study employs a purposive sampling method and selects a sample of 20 palm oil companies listed on the IDX. The analysis technique utilized is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the SPSS 23 application. The result of this study is that liquidity has no effect on financial performance, asset management has an effect on financial performance, capital structure has no effect on financial performance, company size moderates the effect of liquidity on financial performance, company size does not moderate the effect of asset management on financial performance and company size moderate the effect of capital structure on financial performance.   &nbsp

    Pelatihan Mengelola Hasil Laut Menjadi Produk Kuliner Bagi Masyarakat Pantai

    Dilakukannya pelatihan ini untuk memberikan pelatihan mengelola hasil laut menjadi produk kuliner yang bernilai tinggi, di artikel ini membahas cara menyukseskan pelatihan ini dengan siapa saja stakeholder yang berkaitan untuk melaksankan pelatihan ini dan bagaiman kegiatan yang harus dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, adapun subjek dari penelitian ini ialah masyarakat pantai, instruktur dan pengelolaan program pelatihan hasil laut. Adapun nara sumber dalam melakukan program ini ialah warga pantai, instuktur yang bertugas dalam melaksankan pelatihan program pengelolaan hasil laut di masyarakat pantai. Adapun penulis mengumpulkan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan melakukan kajian literature dan studi pustaka. Adapun dari hail penelitian proses yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pelatihan pengelolaan hasil laut dengan cara yang pertama menyelidiki  mengapa perlunya pelatihan, yang kedua desain kegiatan pelatihan,evaluasi program pelatihan dan apa tujuan di buatnya program pelatihan tersebut. Pelatihan pengelolaan hasil laut memberikan keterampilan kepada masyarkat dari sumber laut yang dapat di manfaatkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. &nbsp
