MANAJEMEN STRATEGIK DALAM PERBANKAN SYARIAH
The current economic development has led to competition between companies in controlling and maintaining the market. Companies with other companies are competing to be winners in business competition. Likewise, bank or non-bank financial institutions. With the increasing quantity of customers and the growth of the nation's economy, it has made Islamic banking compete with other Islamic banks to be at the forefront of providing satisfaction and controlling customers. A special management is needed to determine the right strategy in every policy step taken. For this reason, strategic management is needed so that every policy taken is not misplaced. Because every mistake in policy making will certainly have a negative impact on the company, either in the form of loss of customers or loss of coffers of income. This writing uses the literary method, which collects data based on written texts from various sources to analyze. The results can be seen, to win market competition requires strategic management, making a SWOT analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Make an analysis of challenges and opportunities, in order to dominate the market.Keywords: Strategic management, Islamic banks, SWOT analysisAbstrak Perkembangan perekonomian saat ini menimbulkan persaingan antar perusahaan dalam menguasai dan mempertahankan pasar. Perusahaan satu dengan perusahaan lain berlomba-lomba untuk menjadi pemenang dalam persaingan usaha. Demikian juga lembaga keuangan bank atau non bank. Dengan meningkatnya kuantitas jumlah nasabah dan pertumbuhan perekonomian bangsa ini, menjadikan perbankan syariah bersaing dengan perbankan syariah lain untuk menjadi yang terdepan dalam memberikan kepuasan dan menguasai pelanggan. Diperlukan sebuah manajemen khusus untuk menentukan strategi yang tepat dalam setiap langkah kebijakan yang diambil. Untuk itu, manajemen strategik diperlukan agar dalam setiap kebijakan yang diambil tidak salah sasaran. Karena setiap kesalahan dalam pengambilan kebijakan tentunya akan berdampak negatif bagi perusahaan, baik kerugian dalam bentuk hilangnya pelanggan, atau pun hilangnya pundi-pundi pendapatan. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode pustaka, yakni mengumpulkan data berdasarkan teks-teks tulisan dari berbagai sumber untuk menganalisa. Hasilnya dapat diketahui, untuk memenangkan persaingan pasar dibutuhkan manajemen strategi, membuat analisa SWOT untuk mengetahui kekuatan dan kelemahan perusahaan. Pengaruh ROI dan ROE terhadap Saham Perusahaan
Rasio profitabilitas dipilih karena mampu menunjukkan seberapa besar keuntungan yang didapat investor dari aktivitas investasinya. Sehingga dapat mengukur seberapa baik kinerja perusahaan dalam operasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ROI dan ROE terhadap Harga Saham pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index Periode 2014-2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakanadalah kuantitatif. Pemilihan sampel ditetapkan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 96 sampel. Analisis data menggunakan Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) versi21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial ROI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Harga Saham dengan hasil uji t yaitu t-hitung 19,468 t-tabel 1,66235 dengan probabilitas (signifikansi) 0,00 0,05 sedangkan ROE tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Harga Saham dengan hasil uji t yaitu t-hitung -8,081 t-tabel 1,66235 dengan probabilitas (signifikansi) sebesar 0,00. Sedangkan secara simultan ROI dan ROE berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham dengan uji F yaitu F-hitung 89,543 F-tabel 3,95 dengan probabilitas 0,00. Variabel Harga Saham 51% dipengaruhi oleh variabel ROI dan ROE. Sedangkan sisanya 49% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain seperti produksi penjualan, pengumuman pendanaan, Earning Per Share (EPS), Dividen Per Share (DPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), dan lain-lain. Kata Kunci : Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE), Harga Saham
PEER INSTRUCTION IN A FLIPPED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: EXAMINING ESL STUDENTS' PARTICIPATION IN WRITING ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAYS
Over the years, peer instruction and flipped learning approach has indicated its usefulness in teaching and learning. However, studies on how peer instruction in a flipped learning environment encourage active student participation in writing remain limited in Malaysia. Therefore, this study examines ESL students' participation during peer instruction in the flipped learning environment when composing argumentative essays. A total of 120 upper intermediate students undergoing an English proficiency course at a teacher education institution in Malaysia participated in this study. Qualitative data were gathered from student assessment forms (pair work and group work), lesson study logs, EdPuzzle video quizzes, and samples of student worksheets. Descriptive interpretations and thematic analysis were used to analyse textual data. The findings revealed that ESL students participated in this study by engaging themselves in interactions during in-class writing activities, contributing knowledge to others, getting prepared with the essential concepts and content before class, focusing on the task, and assessing the quality of argumentative writing. The findings implicate that teachers should consider the use of peer instruction in a flipped learning environment for students to engage actively in the teaching and learning of argumentative essay writing
COMMON LINK VIS A VIS GHARI>B NISBI> (Aplikasi Hadis tentang Wanita sebagai Sumber Fitnah)
This paper discussed the common link theory applied through the hadith about women as a source of slander which was considered false by Juynboll; associated with the discussion of the gharib nisbi hadith in the Muslim tradition. Common link, invented by Joseph Schact and developed by Juynboll, was interpreted as forgers or disseminators of hadith. Using theory of common link–the medium of criticism for sanad authenticity–that tended to claim the hadith was made by common link narrator, could be proved that one narrator was not always falsified the hadith. Therefore, future research was needed to investigate whether the narrator himself gets the hadith from his teacher indeed or not. In this case, this paper argued that common link theory was identical with gharib nisbi hadith in which a hadith initially narrated by some narrators, then narrated by one narrator in the middle of chain. Despite some hadith critics doubt about its validity, the discussion result was in line with al-Shafi'i who did not judge from the quantity of the narrators, but from the quality of the narrators.Tulisan ini membahas mengenai aplikasi teori common link melalui hadis tentang wanita sebagai sumber fitnah yang dianggap palsu oleh Juynboll dengan mengaitkan pada pembahasan hadis gharib nisbi dalam tradisi Muslim. Common link yang digagas oleh Joseph Schact dan dikembangkan oleh Juynboll secara sederhana dapat diartikan sebagai pemalsu atau penyebar hadis. Penggunaan teori common link sebagai media kritik otentitas sanad yang cenderung mengklaim bahwa hadis itu adalah buatan perawi common link dapat dijawab bahwa tak selamanya perawi tunggal itu memalsukan hadis. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut apakah perawi itu benar-benar sendiri ketika mendapatkan hadis dari gurunya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tulisan ini berpandangan bahwa teori common link identik dengan sistem hadis gharib nisbi yaitu hadis yang pada awalnya diriwayatkan oleh beberapa perawi kemudian diriwayatkan oleh seorang perawi saja pada pertengahan jalur sanadnya. Meskipun beberapa kritikus hadis meragukan kevalidannya, hasil bahasan ini sejalan dengan pendapat al- al-Shafi'i yang tidak menilai dari kuantitas perawi, melainkan melihat dari kualitas perawi
Pancasila dan Jihad Akademik: Peran Perguruan Tinggi di Yogyakarta dalam Penguatan Ideologi Pancasila
This article discusses the role of higher education institutions in Yogyakarta in bolstering Pancasila’s public image through academic and non-academic approaches. Through various activities to strengthen Pancasila, three universities such as UIN Sunan Kalijaga, UGM, and UNY used academic formulas such as Focus GroupDiscussions which involved several groups to socialize the importance of implementing Pancasila in the life of the nation and state. In addition, there are other non-academic media such as Pancasila petitions and the use of social media as a way of improving Pancasila so that the millennial generation can recognize the ideology andhistorical values of Pancasila. To explain the progress of the three universities, the writer presents two questions; how is the role of science played by universities to improve Pancasila? What attempts are made by tertiary institutions to inspire academic and non-academic views? This study used a qualitative approach with the form of field research (field research) which took place in Yogyakarta. In my view, what the three universities did, became an“academic jihad” which was carried out periodically and represented the seriousness of universities in Yogyakarta to uphold the principles of Pancasila in people’s lives.Keywords: Pancasila, Jihad, Universitie
Ecotheology: The Basic Values Of Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII)
The thinking foundation of a movement is determined by the built ideology, one of the early foundations in a movement,the role of ideology is very important in shaping the characteristics and direction of a movement. Similar with the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII), ideologically, it is based on ahlussunnah waljama’ah. The ideology of the PMII movement is viewed in the form of the Basic Values of Movement (NDP) which are affirmed in the concept of; monotheism, hablumminallah, hablum minannas, and hablum minal alam. The NDP is what shapes the characteristics of the student movement organization which is expectedto be the answer to current problems. The NDP as a reference in the movement conforms the Islamic ummah guidelines, namely Al-quran and hadith, therefore, the essence of the guidelines is reflected in the Basic Values of Movement. The harmony of religious teachings and the ideology of the movement forms a tangent to the discussion of ecotheology. Ecotheology is present in a combination of two scientific clusters, namely ecology and theology, and is expected to provide scientific contributions in accordance with environmental theology, or the relationship between religious teachings and the environment.Keywords: Basic Values of Movement, PMII, Ecotheolog
MELACAK SEJARAH DAN PENGGUNAAN NAGHAM ARABI DI INDONESIA
There are two elements of art in the Quran which come from two different sources. First, from the internals of Quran, such as language style, diction, correlation between verses, and others. Second, from the external of the Quran, such as how to read, rhythm (nagham/langgam), and others. This study focusedd on the second part, namely the rhythm (nagham) in Quranic verses and more specifically on the Arabic rhythm of Arab. The history of the existence of the rhythm in Quran verses in the Islamic world has existed since Islam appeared in the world. However, in Indonesia, the history of Arabic rhythm is still confusing. Therefore, this study aimed to trace the early history of the entry and use of the Arabic rhythm in Indonesia. This research used descriptive-historical method. This research found the early history of the emergence of the nagham of Arab in Indonesia which is inseparable from the network of archipelago scholars with the Middle East in the twentieth century. Nagham of Arab has continued to develop since the establishment of Jam'iyyatu al-Qurra’ wa al-Huffaz (JQH) in the 1950s and the presence of PTIQ and IIQ. Electricity energy in the future, because it is realized that fossil energy will sooner or later be depleted and will be eliminated by humans, besides that its reserves are depleting and the impact of carbon emissions resulting from combustion systems produced by motorized vehicles and industry has become a central issue for the global community. In fact, the government is also encouraging the creation of renewable energy and launching the acceleration of electric vehicles. So that electricity can be said as energy that will be consumed by mankind in the future, leaving energy that has a negative impact on the environment and health. Thus, the community's efforts to create cheap and affordable electrical energy for the community, villages need support and appreciation from both the government and entrepreneurs, as has been done by IBEKA. Institute of Business and People's Economics (IBEKA). This IBEKA has a mission to develop renewable energy which is beneficial for community independence in the socio-economic and environmental aspects. His research aims to analyze the entrepreneurial process based on rural communities, considering that most of Indonesia's population resides in rural areas. The potential of rural areas is enormous to be developed well economically, culturally, socially and politically. The theoretical approach used to analyze the process of social entrepreneurship is based on the Business Canvas Model (CMB). This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. KONSTRUKSI MAKNA MALO DALAM KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL DAN BERAGAMA DI MADURA
Shame (malu in Indonesia or malo in Madura) is closely related to pride for Madurese people. Malo is frequently become postulate to make a deal with violence which is known by carok or fight using weapons to recover that pride. For that, it is necessary to discuss how that exactly the meaning construction of malo for Madurese people is and how that malo creates social ethic and religion in Madura. This study used a qualitative approach with the constructive paradigm, and its technique used visible observation, in-depth interview, documentation and library research. Result of this study showed that malo is such a kind of expression for Madurese people to defend their reputation and pride. All kind of defenses will be taken in order to prevent this malo, even if it is an extreme act which leads to death. This coincides with Madurese philosophy as ca’oca’ which stated that “Better to die than live to bear malo”. The big problem will usually occur if this malo was bothered by religious friction and offends the family honor. This malo is a logic consequence as social and religious ethic around Madurese people. Maharoh istima dapat dikuasai oleh seorang siswa dengan cara berlatih mendengar dan menyimak perkataan berbahasa Arab secara terus menerus. Penggunaan media pada pembelajaran maharoh istima sangat membantu siswa untuk melatih kemampuan istima mereka. Selama ini penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran maharoh istima menggunakan perkataan yang diucapkan oleh guru ataupun audio yang diperdengarkan menggunakan speaker. Media tersebut dinilai kurang efektif dikarenakan setiap murid mempunyai kemampuan mendengar yang berbeda-beda. Pengembangan media pembelajaran maharoh istima akan sangat membantu melatih atau mengasah kemampuan maharoh istima siswa secara individu dan fleksibel sehingga siswa dapat memahami pembelajaran maharoh istima dengan jelas dan dapat berlatih kemampuan istima dimana pun dan kapan pun.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) proses pengembangan media pembelajaran maharoh istima berbasis website, (2) informasi tentang kelayakan produk media pembelajaran maharoh istima berbasis website di MAN 1 Kota Kediri kelas X.Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD) dengan metode pengembangan ADDIE (Assessment/Analysis, Desigm, Development, Implementation, Evaluation.) Penelitian bertempat di MAN 1 Kota Kediri. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan kuesioner. Kelayakan media pembelajaran ini dinilai oleh tim ahli media dan ahli materi. Analisis data hasil kelayakan dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan skala Likert.Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan yang diadaptasi dari model penelitian pengembangan versi ADDIE. Adapun tahap tersebut yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, dan Implementation. Tahap analysis meliputi analisis kurikulum dan analisis kebutuhan. Tahap design meliputi sasaran instruksional, pemilihan pendekatan secara keseluruhan, perancangan materi pembelajaran secara spesifik dan pembuatan storyboard. Tahap development meliputi pembuatan produk media pembelajaran maharoh istima berbasis website dengan alamat http://belajaristima.com/ dan meliputi validasi bertingkat oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. (2) Media pembelajaran maharoh istima berbasis website di MAN 1 Koa Kediri kelas X IIK layak digunakna sebagai media pembelajaran, dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli media pada tahap pertama memperoleh persentase sebesar 87,69% dan pada tahap kedua sebesar 92,30%, hasil validasi ahli materi pada tahap pertama memperoleh persentase sebesar 96,81% dan pada tahap kedua sebesar 97,27%
